Robert J. Spitnale

CONTINENTAL – Robert J. “Bob” Spitnale, 72, of Continental, died 2:15 pm Saturday, October 8, 2011 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. He was born April 21, 1939 in Pandora to the late Carl and Rosemary (Gerber) Spitnale. He had been married to Suellen Shafer and she survives in CA. On April 13, 1988, he married

Janet Ann Etter. She died September 30, 2006. Surviving is a son: Brent (Patricia) Spitnale of Sparta, NJ; a stepson: Bradley (Ann) Schroeder of Glandorf; 2 sisters: LaDonna (Gene) Engle of Charlotte, NC and Alice Spitnale of Ottawa; 5 grandchildren: Peter, Renee and Lauren Surprenaunt; Jane and Susie Spitnale and 2 step-grandchildren: Casey and Alexandra Schroeder. He was preceded in death also by a daughter: Bambi Renee Surprenaunt, a stepson: Scott Schroeder and a brother: Carl Lee Spitnale.

Bob graduated from Continental High School in 1957 and served in the US Army during Vietnam. He attended Bowling Green State University and graduated from Defiance College. He began his career with John’s Manville in Defiance as a quality control technician and later joined the Crescent News Newspaper Publishing Co as Circulation Manger for 11 years. He was a board member and former president of the Ohio Circulation Managers Association with over 30 years in circulation management with newspapers in OH and MA. He was a sales consultant for Groman’s Music in Findlay and Lima and also a part-time newspaper distributor for the Lima News in Ottawa. He was recognized as an accomplished accordionist winning many talent contests and performances for programs in OH, MI, and IN during his high school and college years. He was grand prize winner for the 13 week WSPD TV Lloyd Thaxton Talent Show in Toledo. He was accordionist with the Bavarian Brass Polka Band for many years performing at Frankenmuth, MI and many polka festivals. He was also past president of the Ohio Polka Boosters. He was a life member of the Continental American Legion where he was the present commander. He was presently a councilman for the Village of Continental, a member of the Moose Lodge in Indian Lake and Ottawa Eagles. He was the past president of Brookhill Association and a life member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity in Bowling Green.

Bob was a member of Continental United Methodist Church and pianist for the church. He was active in sports, enjoyed bowling and photography.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Continental United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Schmunk officiating. Burial will follow at Monroe cemetery, Continental with military rites by the Continental American Legion. Visitation will be 5 to 8 pm Friday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Memorials may be made to Continental United Methodist Church.

Patricia Ann Bair

MELROSE – Patricia Ann (Johnson) Bair, 73, of Melrose departed this life at 7:20 am Friday, October 07, 2011 at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center. She was born June 1, 1938 in Garrett Kentucky to Willard and Fannie Irene (Centers) Johnson. Her father is deceased. Her mother and step-father: Martin LaRue survive in Continental. On August 7, 1954, she exchanged vows with Robert L. “Dib” Bair and he survives in Melrose. Also surviving are 6 children: Cathy (Kevin) Eitniear of Oakwood, Brad (Tabbie) Bair of Melrose, Karen (David) Thomas of Payne, Robert (Teresa) Bair II of Grover Hill, Deanna (Charles) Adkins of Oakwood and Deborah (Jimmy) Hughes of North Myrtle Beach, SC; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and one on the way. Patricia was a cherished sister to: William (Paula) Johnson of Defiance, Phyllis (Nick) Sterling of Delphos, Buford Johnson of Georgia, Delethia (Dale) Ward of Leipsic and Rodney (Wilma) Johnson of Findlay. She was preceded in death also by a daughter Vickie; a sister: Judith DeLong; a grandson: Jacob and a granddaughter: McKenzie.

Patricia was a homemaker, mother, seamstress and avid quilter. She was affiliated with Auglaize Chapel Church of God for 57 years. During that time, she served as communion steward, funeral dinner director and enjoyed singing in the choir.

Funeral services for Patricia will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at the Auglaize Chapel Church of God with Pastor Stan Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in Little Auglaize cemetery, Melrose. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Monday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Oakwood and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.

Preferred memorials may be made to Auglaize Chapel Church of God or Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

Judy C. Kaufman

CONTINENTAL – Judy C. Kaufman, 59, of Continental died 12 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at her residence. She was born January 6, 1952 to the late Victor and Vernece (Thomas) Geckle, Sr. On September 12, 1987 she married Robert Kaufman and he survives in Continental.

Also surviving is a daughter: Christie (D.J. Dellinger) Kaufman at home; a sister: Betty Herr of Continental; and 4 brothers: Junior (Marsha) Geckle of Continental, Forrest (Deb) Geckle of North Creek, Victor (Mary) Geckle of Continental, and Ron (Tammy) Geckle of Cloverdale.

Judy worked for Patrick Plastic in Leipsic and had worked at Philips Display Components in Ottawa. She was a beautician at Donelda’s Beauty Shop and was an Avon Representative for many years. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching and loved working outdoors.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental with Rev. Terry Porter officiating. Burial will follow in Monroe cemetery, Continental. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. until time of the funeral on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the family.

Thomas S. Kiene

OTTAWA – Thomas S. Kiene, 69, of Ottawa died 3:33 pm Tuesday, October 4, 2011 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born April 24, 1942in Lima to the late Reno and Mary (Kreinbrink) Kiene. On October 9, 1971, he married Mary Aelker and she died March 24, 2006. Surviving are two children: Christine Kiene of Maumee, Stephen Kiene of Columbus and a sister: Octavia (George) Grone of Delphos. He was preceded in death also by a son: David Kiene; 3 brothers: Francis Kiene and his wife Sharon, Arthur Kiene and Lawrence Kiene.

Tom retired in 1999 from the Ohio Department of Transportation. He was a dedicated member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa where he was a Eucharistic Minister and after retirement took over maintenance of the church. He and his wife taught CCD at St. John the Baptist Church in Glandorf for many years. He was also member of the Ottawa Knights of Columbus.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am Friday, October 7, 2011 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Thursday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a scripture service at 2:30 pm and a K of C Rosary at 3:30 pm.

Memorials may be made to Sts Peter & Paul School Endowment or Bridge Hospice.

ROSALIA M. HOFFMAN

KALIDA – Rosalia M. Hoffman, 103, died 12: 45 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima. She was born May 6, 1908 in Leipsic to the late John Henry and Magdalena Wyant Siebeneck. On June 30, 1934, she married Alfred Henry Hoffman who died April 7, 1973.

She is survived by her children: Richard (Marilyn) Hoffman of Ft. Wayne, IN, Donald (Mary Lou) Hoffman and Kathleen (Kenneth) Ellerbrock all of Kalida, Ann Hoffman of Springfield, John (Sharon) Hoffman of Alpharetta, GA, Janet (John) Smith of Lima, Norbert Hoffman(Pam Mason) of Sarasota, FL, Eugene (Barb) Hoffman of Beavercreek, and Alfred (Ruth) Hoffman Jr. of Kettering; two sisters-in-law: Viola Siebeneck and Irleen Siebeneck both of Leipsic; 37 Grandchildren, 66 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Preceding Rosalia in death is a son, Dennis Hoffman, six brothers: Ferd, Harry, Clarence, Chris, Leonard, and Wilfred Siebeneck; and three sisters, Loni Verhoff, Norie Meyer and Catherine Kaufman.

Rosalia was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida and its Altar Rosary Society.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Kalida with Fr. Mark Hoying officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be an Altar Rosary service at 7:00 p.m.

Memorials may be given to the charity of donor’s choice.

Roy Junior Taylor

OTTAWA – Roy Junior Taylor, 86, of Ottawa died 2:10 am Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay. He was born January 4, 1925 in Latty Township, Paulding to the late Roy Everett and Susie Jane (Perry) Taylor. On January 19, 1947 he married Doris E. Williamson and she survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are five children: Carol (Fred) Smith of Norway, MI, Michael (Deborah) Taylor of Arlington, Kathryn (Ronald) St. Laurent of Nashua, NH, Jeffrey (Katherine) Taylor of Findlay, and Charles (Lorie) Taylor of Leipsic; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers: Marvin (Kae) Taylor of Bern, IN and James (Sharon) Taylor of Decatur, IN; and four sisters: Ruby (Floyd) Hale of IN, Rheba (Herb) Eichorn of CA, Sabina (Dale) Gaskill of Ft. Wayne, IN and Virginia (Paul) Hakes of Decatur, IN. He grew up on a farm in Indiana with his six brothers and sisters.

Roy retired in 1992 from lumber sales at CBS, Sturgis, MI. He had worked previously at Blanchard Valley Supply for 15 years. He served in Italy for two years in the US Army 696th Engineering Group during WWII. He graduated in 1925 from high school in Pleasant Mills, IN where he played varsity basketball. He enjoyed NASCAR, basketball, fishing and had a great love for gardening and growing fruits and vegetables. Roy taught Sunday school at First Church of Nazarene in Findlay. He always taught his children by example, work hard and lead a moral, honest life.

A Memorial Service will be 2:00 pm Sunday, November 13, 2011 at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa with Rev. Lynda Lockwood officiating. Military rites will follow the service at the funeral home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Putnam County Hospice.

Alfred C. Honigford

Ottoville – Alfred C. Honigford, 86, of Ottoville died 8:07 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at The Meadows of Kalida. He was born February 23, 1925 in Ottoville to the late John and Theresa (Weber) Honigford. On September 14, 1946, he married Margaret “Marge” Prine who died December 20, 2004.

Alfred is survived by his children: A. John (Pam) Honigford of Griffin, GA., David L. (Diane) Honigford of Russells Point, Daniel C. (Ruth) Honigford and Jeffrey M. Honigford both of Ottoville and Rebecca S. Hall of Acworth, GA.; 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; two sisters: Rose “Sis” (Hank) Wegesin of Delphos, Anna Marie Kahle of Glandorf and a brother, Walter “Butch” (Paulette) Honigford of Delphos, sisters-in-law, Doris Honigford of Ottoville, Norma (Don) Moore of Grover Hill and brother-in-law, Bob (Betty) Prine of Delphos. He was preceded in death by a great-grandson; four brothers: Oswald, Urban “Bud”, Victor and Roger Honigford; 2 sisters-in-law: Lorriane Carder and Twila Ball and 6 brothers-in-law: Hershel, William, Richard, Jack, Melvin and Larry Prine.

Alfred retired in 1988 from Chief Super Market in Delphos as manager of the meat department. After retirement, he worked 12 years with Lock 16. He was also a life long farmer. He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and the Ottoville Knights of Columbus. He was an honorary chapter farmer with FFA. His pastime and passion was woodworking and he made many beautiful pieces for family and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville with Fr. John Stites officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township (on the corner of St. Rts. 224 and 634) where a scripture service will begin at 2:00 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Immaculate Conception Church repair fund or St. Mary’s cemetery Fund.

Ray W. Prowant

DUPONT – Ray W. Prowant, 84, a lifelong resident of Dupont, died 6:00 am Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice after a brief illness. He was born June 1, 1927 and raised in Continental, the son of the late Homer and Addie (Anspach) Prowant. He leaves his adoring wife of 63 years, JoAnne (Myers) Prowant; a daughter, Jill Byrd and her special friend Dan Daly of Lewiston, MI; a daughter, Lynn (Bill) Miller of Decatur, IN; and a “# 1 son”, Bill (Anissa) Prowant of Dupont; 3 grandchildren, Lisa (Clark) Gable of Decatur, IN; Jeffrey Prowant and Allison Prowant both of Dupont; 1 great-granddaughter, Anna Jo Gable of Decatur, IN; 2 very loyal dogs; 2 granddogs; a sister, Phylis Stemen of Savannah, GA and a sister-in-law, Susan Prowant of Ft. Wayne, IN. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Charles Prowant.

After graduating from Continental High School in 1945 he attended “The School of Hard Knocks” graduating at least 99 times and counting. He was the vice president of Durant Enterprises, Inc, as well as serving as the CEG, Chief Executive Go-Fer, a title he not only bestowed on himself, but one he wore with pride, dedication, a huge grin and an even bigger laugh.

Mr. Prowant lived his life serving the public. As a young man he joined the Navy and was a veteran of WWII. He was very active in the community. He served as a town councilman, Republican Party committeeman, community club member, as well as a member of the Continental American Legion, Van Wert VFW, and a 58-year member of the Continental Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Continental United Methodist Church where he had served as a Sunday school teacher, greeter and trustee. He was a member of the Continental Community Club, the Continental Development Corporation, and a long time director of The Dupont Service Company.

Professionally, Mr. Prowant began his career in 1948, working for the Myers Concession Company. He and his wife traveled with the Gooding Amusement Company, serving many Ohio fairs and festivals with their confection trailers. In 1966, Mr. Prowant established Durant Enterprises, Inc., a mobile amusement company, currently consisting of over 30 rides and 20 food concessions. Mr. Prowant belonged to several professional organizations; greater Ohio Showmen’s Association, of which he served as president for over 4 years as well as a trustee; Ohio Fair Manager’s Association; Ohio Festival and Events Association; Outdoor Amusement Business Association; and the International Independent Showmen’s Association. In addition, Mr. Prowant served on the Ohio Ride Safety Advisory Board, where he was instrumental in establishing the Ride Safety Program with the governor and the director of agriculture.

Mr. Prowant loved visiting with people and traveling to fairs and festivals in the area. He was a lover of Ford trucks, animals, and loved to tell stories and jokes. He also loved to read newspapers and subscribed to approximately 12 per week.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Continental United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Schmunk officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview cemetery in Dupont with military rites by the Continental American Legion. Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday and 2 to 8 pm Friday at HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Continental and one hour prior to service on Saturday at the church. There will be a Masonic Service at 8 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Continental United Methodist Church, the Continental Community Library, or to Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice.

Dolores C. Ruhe

OTTAWA – Dolores C. Ruhe, 87, of Ottawa died 9:00 am Wednesday, November 09, 2011 at Putnam Heritage, Ottawa. She was born September 13, 1924 in Fort Jennings to the late Sylvester and Angeline (Brinkman) Hellman. On June 22, 1949, she married Joseph E. Ruhe. He died July 20, 1993. Surviving are 7 children: Keith Ruhe of Coldwater, MI, Dale “Skip” (Connie) Ruhe of Ottawa, Jack (Deb) Ruhe of Ottawa, Roger (Margaret) Ruhe of Ottawa, Ann (Brooks) Bosse of Findlay, Kathy Miller of Green Springs, and Joan (Rick) Kline of Hamler; 17 grandchildren: Megan (Kyle Seibolt) Ruhe, Grant Ruhe, Andrea (Rob) Hemrick, Schuyler Ruhe, Nathan Ruhe, Lyndsey Ruhe, Matt Ruhe, Lee Ruhe, Michelle Ruhe, Nicole Bosse, Erin Bosse, Jaclyn Miller, DeAnna Miller, Kelly Miller, Brian Kline, Kevin Kline, Erica Kline; 3 great-grandchildren: Audrey, Reid and Layne Hemrick; 4 sisters: Emily Elwer of Delphos, Gennie (Vinnie) Karhoff of Elida, Catherine (Melitus) Warnecke of Lakeview, Eileen (Lou) Schimmoeller of Fort Jennings; 1 brother: George (Carol) Hellman of Fort Jennings. She was preceded in death by a son-in-law: John Miller and 3 brothers: William Hellman and infant twins John and Joseph Hellman.

Dolores worked as a clerk with the Putnam County Recorder’s office. She had been a reporter for the Findlay Republican Courier and Lima News. She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa and the Altar Rosary Society and Catholic Ladies of Columbia and a Eucharistic Minister. She was also a member of the Ottawa American Legion Auxiliary, Ottawa VFW Auxiliary and a charter member of the Ottawa Fire Ladies. She was very involved with the Buckeye Girls’ State; a volunteer for the Putnam County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Putnam County Board of Elections and the area nursing homes; O-G Athletic Boosters (especially basketball) and was a basketball season ticket holder for over 35 years. She was an avid card player and member of several card clubs; enjoyed playing golf, traveling and taking cruises with her husband and friends both in the states and internationally. Most of all she loved being surrounded by her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ottawa with Fr. Matt Jozefiak officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Thursday and 2 to 8 pm Friday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa where there will be a Fire Ladies service at 7 pm on Thursday, a scripture service at 2:30 Friday and an American Legion and VFW Auxiliary service at 7:00 pm Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Education Foundation, O-G Athletic Boosters or Putnam County Home Care and Hospice.

Paul J. Burgei

Ottoville – Paul J. Burgei, 89, of Ottoville died 2:45 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Meadows of Kalida. He was born May 9, 1922 in Cloverdale to the late Michael A. and Pauline F. (Pittner) Burgei. On September 1, 1951 he married Rita Koester. She died October 3, 1985.

He is survived by his children: Darlene Carfora of Ottoville, OH and Gary (Bridget) Burgei of Troy, OH; 3 grandchildren: Andrew Paul Burgei, Kaitlyn Susanna Burgei, and Benjamin Robert Burgei, all of Troy, OH; and 5 sisters: Agnes King of Napoleon, OH, Miriam Kamann of Oregon, OH, Mildred (William) Pollick of Dublin, OH, Helen Koester of Ottoville, OH and Dorothy Kahle of Kalida, OH.

Preceding him in death are 3 sisters: Annett Kromer, Margaret Maas, and Louise Burgei; and 2 brothers: Hilary Burgei and Lawrence Burgei.

Paul was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville and retired in 1987 from Chrysler, where he had been a machine repairman. He had also worked for ExCello and Ford Motor Company. While working at Ford he received the “Town Crier” award for community service. Paul had served as an assistant fire chief for the Ottoville Fire Department and had been on the Ottoville School Board. He enjoyed woodworking in his spare time.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with Fr. John Stites officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s cemetery, Ottoville. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at LOVE-HEITMEYER FUNERAL HOME, Jackson Township where a scripture service will be held at 6 p.m.

Thelma Nesmith Wakeman

PANDORA – Thelma Nesmith Wakeman 86, of Pandora went home to be with her Lord Jesus on November 5, 2011 after a recent diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. She died at home surrounded by many of her beloved family. Thelma was born August 5, 1925 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Ellie Wallace and Iva Pauline (Mercer) Nesmith. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Albert Wakeman of Pandora. They were married June 11, 1954. Also surviving are her four children: Esther (Rob Collins) Wakeman of Chiang Mai, Thailand, Wally (Liz) Wakeman of Vancouver, WA, Carol (Mark) Williams of Pandora and John (Lara Brown) Wakeman of Ann Arbor, MI; 15 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren, a great-grandson due in December and her sisters with whom she maintained almost daily contact by email and who came to Ohio to say good-bye in her final days: Iva Huffingham, Carolyn Capp, Ann (Howard) Beardslee and Beth (Bill) Weitzel all of Florida. She was preceded in death also by a brother Rudolph who was killed in WWII.

Thelma was a 1942 graduate of Landon High School and a 1954 graduate of Columbia Bible College (now Columbia International University) in SC.

She expressed her deep love for Jesus through a legendary gift of hospitality hosting numerous people in her home for long periods of time and hundreds of guests for meals and conversation that communicated a deep personal interest and care that was encouraging and for some, life-changing. She went to Kabul, Afghanistan from 1956 to 1962 where her husband taught English. They returned to Pakistan in 1995 and 1996 to teach Afghan refugees. She worked at the University of Michigan and Balance Technology while living in Ann Arbor, MI from 1962-1969. She lived in North Canton, OH from 1969-1999 and worked at Malone College (now Malone University) retiring as Registrar in 1989. She and her husband moved to Pandora, OH in 2000 and enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren both near and far.

A memorial service will be held 3 pm Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at St. John Mennonite Church, Pandora, OH with Pastors Geoff Eubank and Lynn Thompson officiating. Visitation with the family will be held at the church from 1:30-2:30 pm.

OTTAWA – Linda K. Rower, 63, of Ottawa passed away after a courageous 5 year battle with ovarian cancer at 4:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born June 5, 1948 in Lima to Clois E. and Wanda E. (Shiveley) Engard. Her father is deceased and her mother survives in Leipsic. On September 14, 1967 she married Richard A. Rower and he survives in Ottawa.

Also surviving are her three children: Kathleen (James) Balbaugh of Miller City; Jennifer (Michael) Lake of Swanton and Richard II (Tara) Rower of Dayton; 2 grandsons: Jeremy and Tyler Balbaugh and a granddaughter Rower on the way; siblings: Sharon (Glenn) Elchert of Fostoria, Vicki Engard of Camarillo, CA, James (Sharon) Engard of Leipsic, and Patricia (Gene) Kreinbrink of Glandorf.

Linda retired from Brice Musser, O.D. in Glandorf as office manager. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Ottawa. She was the treasurer for the Putnam County Friends of the Library; member and treasurer of the Serendipity Club; ONGEA Auxiliary Treasurer, and an active member in the Putnam County Relay for Life. Linda was also an avid Snoopy collector and affectionately known by many as “The Snoopy Lady”. She enjoyed hanging out with “The Dips” and “Group”, going on her annual sister trips, watching her grandsons’ sports activities, especially soccer, sending cards to people, and spending time with her family.

Funeral services will begin 11:00 am Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church with Pastor Lynda Lockwood officiating. Burial will follow in Harman

cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 pm Monday at LOVE FUNERAL HOME, Ottawa and one hour prior to service on Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society and Putnam County Hospice.
