Debra Sue Lamb
(March 13, 1957 - June 5, 2011)
Debra Sue Lamb, age 54, of Delaware passed away unexpectedly Sunday morning at her home.
Born in Marion on March 13, 1957 to Cal and Shirley (Rinderle) Lamb, Debra was a homemaker.
Debra was preceded in death by a brother; Jamie Lamb.
Surviving are her parents; Cal Lamb and Shirley Lamb of Marion, her daughter; Stephanie Steinman of Delaware, her siblings; Cris Lamb, Jeff & Kim Lamb, Tim Lamb, Mike Lamb, Sara
Waddell and Jodie Lamb and her 3 grandchildren; Jante, Justice and Jade.
A celebration of Debra’s life will be held on Friday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Jenner officiating.
Burial will follow in the Marion cemetery.
Friends may call Friday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers her family asks that contributions in her memory be made to her daughter; Stephanie Steinman.
Mildred Louise Clark
(September 8, 1916 - June 2, 2011)
Mildred Louise Clark, age 94, of Marion passed away early Thursday morning at Marion Manor Care Center where she had lived since 2006.
Born in Washington, Missouri on September 8, 1916 to Dr. Edward Kennedy Clark II and Mary Alpha (Hull) Clark, she lived in Missouri until she completed her second year of schooling.
She and her family then returned to Marion where she was a student at Pearl Street Elementary School.
She later attended Central Junior High School and graduated with the class of 1934 from Harding High School.
Mildred started her business career as a clerk-stenographer in the district office of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and remained there until her retirement in 1973 completing twenty nine years of service to the company.
She was a life member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a former member of the Captain William Hendricks Chapter, DAR.
Mildred was preceded in death by her father in 1973, her mother in 1977, a brother in 1914 and her beloved sister; Mary K. Cummings in 2004.
She is survived by her close friends; Ron and Jo Gushwa and their daughter; Brenda Thompson who would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Marion Manor for their excellent care and concern for Mildred.
A celebration of Mildred’s life will be held Sunday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Craig Lewis officiating.
Private burial will be held at a later date.
Friends may call Sunday from Noon until the time of service at the funeral home.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Marion General Hospital Hospice or the Marion County Humane Society.
Sherry Jean Kincaid
(May 5, 1949 - April 24, 2011)
Sherry Jean Kincaid, age 61, formerly of Marion passed away April 24, 2011 at her home in Bucyrus.
Born in Akron, Ohio on May 5, 1949 to Richard and Mickey Vanderbilt, she married
Norman Kincaid who preceded her in death.
Sherry had been a corrections officer at MCI prior to her retirement.
In keeping with her families wishes there will be no services held for Sherry.
Dorothy Jane Eberhart
(March 9, 1921 - May 11, 2011)
Dorothy Jane Eberhart, age 90, left to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from Marion Manor Nursing Center.
Born on March 9, 1921 to Jesse LeRoy and Helen (Osmun) Eberhart, she was affectionately known as Dort and had a love for animals, especially her two cats.
Dort was a lifelong resident of Marion and had been employed by both the Marion Star and Marion City Schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister; Mary Belle Welch.
Dort is survived by her cousins; David and Mary Jo Osmun and their sons and Susan Hines and her daughters, special friends; Kay and Bill White, Marilyn Collins and her many friends at Emanuel Baptist Church.
A celebration of Dort’s life will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Ronald Douglas officiating.
Burial will follow in the Claridon cemetery.
Friends may call Monday from Noon until the time of services at the funeral home.
If desired, memorial contributions in Dort’s memory may be made to Emanuel Baptist Church.
Scott Malone
(March 27, 1965 - May 11, 2011)
Dirk “Scott” Malone, age 46, of rural Marion passed away unexpectedly Wednesday at his home.
Scott was born in Marion on March 27, 1965 to Jerry and Lana (Hunt) Malone Stidam.
He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and Cincinnati Reds, loved listening to music and watching movies.
Scott was preceded in death by his brother; Chad, maternal grandparents; Naomi & Larry Hunt, paternal grandfather; Marion Malone, uncle; Craig Malone, aunt; Linda Dearth and nephew; Anthony Malone.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather; Lana & Jack Stidam, his father; Jerry Malone, grandmother; Della Malone, sister-in-law; Angie Malone, nephews; Josh (Katie) Malone, Jake Malone and Ben Kandel, niece; Sami Kandel and special friends; Tammy Scott and Amanda Burns and her daughter; Brianna.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held Monday at 10:00 AM at the Hughes-Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Brammer officiating.
Burial will follow in Chapel Heights Memory Garden.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-5 PM at the funeral home.
