Mildred L. "Millie" Williams, 86, Fostoria, formerly of Mt Vernon Dr., died Monday 10:10 PM in the Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria, where she resided, January 3, 2005.
She was born March 8, 1918 in Chicago, Ill. to the late Lee & Edna (Cass) Holden. She married Glenwood R.. "Glenn" Williams, D.D.S., and he died October 26, 2003.
Surviving are 2 Daughters- Mrs. Ronald C. (Gena Marie) Boley, Minster, Ohio, and Bonnie L. Kenner, Fostoria. 2 Grandchildren- Leah Altman & Glenda Kenner-Aspery, 2 Great Grandchildren- Morgan Aspery & MacKensey Kenner-Aspery, 1 Brother- Lloyd K. Holden, EauClaire, Wisc., 1 Sister- Florence L. (Herbert) Bradford, Spring Lake, Mich.
Mildred was predeceased by her parents and husband "Glenn".
Mildred retired in May 1994 from Vanlue Schools as a teacher, having also taught for Fostoria, Lakota, Hopewell-Loudon and Columbus school systems. Mildred was a 1935 graduate of Fostoria High School and a 1939 graduate of Bowling Green University. She was also a member of the Grace United Church of Christ, Fostoria.
Visitation will take place Friday evening from 5:30-7:30 PM in Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria.
Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 10:30 AM in Hoening Funeral Home with Chaplain Jim Sampson officiating.
cemetery committal services will take place in the Veterans Memorial Chapel of Fountain cemetery, where burial will follow.

Jacinto "Pete" Trevino
Date: 2005-01-02

Jacinto "Pete" Trevino, 71, of Fostoria, died Sunday morning 9:30 AM in the Good Shepherd Home, where he had resided the past 15 years. January 2, 2005.
Born September 11, 1933 in Zapata, Texas to the late Tomas & Cenovia (Guzman) Trevino. He married Amilia (Cuellar) Trevino-Frias on January 3, 1953, and they later divorced, and she survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving are 6 sons- Jacinto G. "Chico" (Connie) Trevino, Fostoria, Tomas Trevino, Dallas, Texas, Eduardo Trevino, Zapata, Texas, Juan Trevino, Fostoria, Carlos Trevino, Fostoria, and Jorge Trevino, Fostoria. 2 daughters- Marianela (Ricardo) Anez, Fostoria, and Patricia (Jamie) Prince, Fostoria, 19 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. 2 Sisters- Mrs. Ricardo (Felicidad Tia Fela) Gallegos, Lima, and Mrs. Tom (Sylvia- Tia Sylvia) Torres, Lima. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 son- Jesus Trevino, and a sister- Conception Trevino.
Pete was a self employed painter for several area companies. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, a former volunteer for the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen. He also had been a union steward for the former Kerr-McGee Company, Fostoria.
Pete was a loving father, who will be sadly missed by his family and many friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday 6-9 PM in Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christian wake service will be held at 8:45 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 1:00 PM Wednesday in St. Wendelin Catholic Church, where a Rosary will be prayed at 12:30 PM.
Burial will take place in St. Wendelin Parish cemetery with a funeral luncheon and gathering folowing in the parish hall.
Memorials are suggested to the Good Shepherd Home "Activities Fund", or the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen, c/o Hoening Funeral Home 242 W. Tiffin Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830

John Wesley Butler
Date: 2004-12-30

John Wesley Butler, 88, formerly of Buckley Street, Fostoria, died Thursday afternoon 2:22PM in St Catherine's Care Center, Fostoria, December 30, 2004.
He was born July 16, 1916 in Sparta, Ohio to the late William & Luella (Lewis) Butler. He married Clara Louise Hallman on Feb. 3, 1940 in Greenup, KY, and she died December 3, 1992.
Surviving are 2 sons- Gary G. Butler, Cocoa, Fla., and John W. "Jack" Butler, Fostoria, 7 grandchildren, 15 great Grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother- Roy Butler, Pataskala, and 2 sisters- Naomi Hall, Centerburg, and Thelma White, Pataskala.
John retired from Moes Body Shop as a radiator repairman. He was a member of St Wendelin Catholic Church, and a 1934 graduate of Sparta High School.
John will be remembered as a loving father and family man, who was gentle, kind, and honest.
Public graveside services will be held Monday 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia, where burial will follow.
Private family visitation will take place at Hoening Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to St Wendelin Church or charity of the donor's choice c/o Hoening Funeral Home 242 W Tiffin Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830

Jane E. Kleinfelter
Date: 2004-12-26

Jane E. Kleinfelter, 57, Bloomville, Ohio, died Sunday morning 3:15 AM at her home.
Jane was born June 7, 1947 in Fostoria to the late Herman & Mildred (Brandeberry) Kreais.
She married "Fast Donald" Kleinfelter on November 26, 1971 at St Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, and he survives in Bloomville.
Public graveside services will take place Tuesday 1:00 PM in St Wendelin Parish cemetery, Fostoria, where burial will follow.
Jane had requested that no visitation be held.
Memorials are suggested to St Wendelin Church, Holy Cross Church, or St Peter & Paul Catholic Church c/o Hoening Funeral Home 242 West Tiffin Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830

David H. Cook
Date: 2004-12-25

David H. Cook, 45, Fostoria, died suddenly Saturday morning at his home. December 25, 2004
Dave was born March 9, 1959 in Tiffin, Ohio to Merle & Harvena "Jeanne" (Warner) Cook, and his mother survives in Findlay. His stepmother Dottie Cook survives in Fostoria. He married Denise E. Stahl, and she survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving is a son David "Preston" Cook, Columbus, IN, 3 stepdaughters- Jennifer L. (Phil) Hobbs, Fostoria, Shelly L. Walter, Fostoria and Heather J. (Evan) Ricker, Troy. 6 stepgrandchildren- Breanna, Ashley, Cayla, Mariah, Keegan, and Kalob. 3 brothers- William "Bill" Cook, Fostoria, Roger Cook, Bradner, and Darrel Sprau, Kansas. 6 sisters- Kitty Wilcox, Arlington, Lori Pickett, Wharton, Deena Galloway, Fostoria, Lettie Dube, Fostoria, Beverly Hemmerly, Fostoria, and Tina Mosbey, California. He was predeceased by his father.
Owner of Dave's Small Engine Repair, he also was employed by Fostoria Bushings. He also actively assisted his wife Denise with Jan & Paul's Flowers. Dave was a member of Faith Tabernacle Church of God, Zeller Road, Fostoria.
Dave loved playing his guitar and had a passion for country music. He was also well known for his handy repair work, and ability as a fine builder. He also served his country in the US Army in the early 1980's.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 11:00 AM in the Faith Tabernacle Church of God with visitation 1 hour before the funeral (10-11 am), and also visitation on Wednesday from 6-9 pm at Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria. Pastor Donald R. Goodwin will be officiating the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
Following the cemetery services family and friends are invited back to the church for a luncheon and gathering.

Shirley L. Bulkowski

Shirley L. Bulkowski, 71, Fostoria, died Tuesday 6:42 PM in Fostoria Community Hospital, December 21, 2004.
Shirley was born October 29, 1933 in Fostoria to the late Blaine & Mary Elva May (Coleman) Goodale. She married Francis "Francie" Bulkowski on July 7, 1951 at St Wendelin Catholic Church, and he survives in Fostoria.
Also surviving is a daughter- Frances Miles, Fostoria, and a son- Randy Bulkowski, Findlay, 7 grandchildren- Gillian Thaxton, Andrea Simmons, Ryan Kramb, Matthew Kramb, Leslie Roberts, Mandy Bulkowski, Spencer Bulkowski. 10 great grandchildren- Ashley, Bradley, Grant, Hunter, Jacob, Samantha, Alexis, Tyler, Courtney and Brooklyn. 5 sisters- Virginia Hart, Fostoria, Gloria Wagner, Fostoria, Bernita Gerwin, Terrahaute, IN, Beverly Peticos, Marblehead, and Connie Kiser, Fostoria. 2 brothers- Bernard "Bud" Goodale, Findlay and Roger Goodale, Terrahaute, IN.
Shirley was predeceased by 2 sisters- Besse Gee and Sally Sheridan, and 3 brothers- Richard, James and Jack Goodale.
Private family graveside services will take place Friday, December 24, 2004 in the Chapel of Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia at 10:00AM, where burial will take place.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care 181 E. Perry St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Cecelia M. Droll
Date: 2004-12-20

Cecelia M. Droll, 89, formerly of Cory Street, Fostoria, died Monday morning 7:58 AM in St Catherines Care Center, Fostoria.
She was born November 4, 1915 in Indiana to the late Anthony E. & Anna S. (Hubert) Holman.
Cecelia married Martin J. Droll, and he survives, along with one daughter - Lois M. Coleman, Findlay, and a grandson- James A. Estrada, Saco, Maine. 3 brothers- Allen, Tony, of Fostoria and Omer Holman of Oregon, and 2 sisters Katie Mosier, Fostoria and Mary Kinn, Bluffton. She was predeceased by brothers Herman, Porter, Leonard, and Carl Holman, and a sister- Bernadine Droll.
Cecelia was a homemaker, and a member of St Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria and its Rosary-Altar society, The Fostoria Woman's Club, a volunteer for the American Red Cross and Camp Fire USA, Fostoria, she also delivered meals on wheels to many Fostoria shut-ins.
Public graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Wednesday in the Chapel of Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia.
Private family visitation will take place at Hoening Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made in the form of Mass Intentions to St Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria c/o Hoening Funeral Home 242 West Tiffin Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830.

Chester J. "Chet" Bulkowski
Date: 2004-11-29

Chester J."Chet" Bulkowski, 84, of Fostoria, died Monday 9:40 PM at his residence, November 29, 2004.
He was born 10-20-20, in Fostoria, Ohio to the late Constant S. & Josephine (Janoski) Bulkowski. He married Maxine L. Lentz on March 31, 1940 in Napoleon, Ohio and she survives.
Also surviving is a daughter - Jolene Hill, Columbus, and a son- John Bulkowski, Fostoria, 3 Grandchildren John D. Hill, Brian J. Bulkowski, and Kristin Hymrod, 2 Great grandchildren- Margaret Elizabeth Hill and Jacob Hymrod, 3 brothers- Francis "Francie", Lawrence "Joy", and Kenneth "Butch" Bulkowski, all Fostoria, 3 sisters- Mrs Don (Florence "Tootsie") Gillig, Miss Patricia "Pat" Bulkowski of Fostoria, and Mrs Justin (Martha) Emerine, Findlay.
Chet was predeceased by 2 sisters- Louise May and Rita Bulkowski, and 6 brothers- Constant, Charles, Eugene, Alfred, Louis, and james Bulkowski.
He retired in 1983 from Mennel Milling Co., as a 'miller'after 38 years, and was also a WW II Army Air Corp veteran.
Chet was a member of St Wendelin Catholic Church, Honorary Life member of the 3rd & 4th degree Knights of Columbus, Fostoria.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday 10:30 AM in St Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria, where a Rosary will be prayed at 10 AM. Burial is in Knollcrest cemetery, Arcadia.
Visitation will take place Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM in Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, where a Christain wake service will be at 8:30 PM and a Chalice presentation by the 4th degree Knights of Columbus will be at 8:45 PM. The 4th degree will stand honor guard from 7-9 PM at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice Care, Tiffin, or St Wendelin Church and Schools.

Thelma Barbour-Theobald
Date: 2004-11-22

Thelma Barbour-Theobald, 83, formerly of Fostoria, died Monday November 22, 2004 in Middletown, Ohio where she had resided the past 4 years.
Thelma was born August 17, 1921 in Paulding, Ohio to the late Roman & Freda Schultz.
She was raised in the Fostoria area, and married Ralph Barbour on July 12, 1946. Thelma and Ralph lived in California for a few years, then in Middletown, Ohio until just before Ralph's death on December 15, 1977. She then married Bruce Theobald on September 6, 1979, and he passed away December 30, 1999.
Thelma is survived by a son James (Deborah) Barbour of Middletown, Ohio and a step-son Bruce (Vicki) Theobald of Port Clinton, Ohio. Also surviving are 2 grandsons James & Derek Barbour, 2 step-grandsons Scott & Andrew Van Sickle, 2 sisters- Mrs Arnold (Helen) Scherger, Fostoria, and Catherine Radecki, Spokane, Washington.
She was predeceased by her parents, husbands, brother- Halard Schultz and step-daughter - Ann Van Sickle.
Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 30, 2004, at 2:30 PM in Fountain cemetery by Father Daniel Ring.
Memorials are suggested to St Wendelin Church and Schools c/o Hoening Funeral Home 242 West Tiffin Street, Fostoria, Ohio 44830

Elizabeth A. Konwiczka

Elizabeth A. Konwiczka, 92, formerly of Leonard Ct., Fostoria, died Wednesday morning in Florida, November 17, 2004.
Elizabeth was born August 6, 1912 in Rugby, North Dakota to the late Arthur D. & Mary Ethel (Broom) Smith. She married John C. Konwiczka on November 2, 1985 at St. Wendelin's in Fostoria, and he died July 3, 1996.
Survivors include 2 Daughters- Mrs Marvin (Mary) Hines, Homosassa, Fla., and Mrs. Fred (Shirley) Pulcer, San Benito, Tx, along with 6 grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 Stepsons- Mark Konwiczka, Risingsun, and William Konwiczka, Bowling Green, KY., Stepdaughter- Mrs. Walter (Ursula) Gmerek, Arizona.
She was predeceased by her husband and son James Freds.
Elizabeth was a homemaker.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday in Hoening Funeral Home, Fostoria, November 20, 2004.
Visitation will take place one hour before the funeral at the funeral home. ( 10-11 AM)
Burial will take place in St. Wendelin Parish cemetery, Fostoria.
Memorials are suggested to a Charity of the Donor's Choice.
