Ethel M. (Kline) James
(1912 - 2005)

EDON - Ethel M. (Kline) James, 92, of Edon, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Dream Haven Assisted Living in Edgerton where she was a resident.
Born Sept. 25, 1912, in Garrett, Ind., she was the daughter of Rosa Della (Main) and Albert Cutshall. She married Ralph E. Kline on Nov. 18, 1929, in Albion, and he preceded her in death in October 1967. She then married Robert James, who preceded her in 1976.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Butler Eagles, Aerie 2733 and the Butler American Legion Auxiliary.
Surviving are two sons, Lamar (and wife, Vicki) Kline and Jack Kline, both of Edon; one daughter, Linda (and special friend, Larry Seslar) Snow, of Bryan; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Marjorie Kline; one grandson, Larry Kline; three sisters, Leona Cohen, Bertha Hunkler and Stella Wiseman; and her long time companion Arthur Jettinghoff.
Visitation will be in the Krill Funeral Home in Edon after 2 p.m. on Monday.
Services for will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Eric Dailey officiating. Burial will follow in the Edon Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to The Edon United Methodist Church or Dream Haven Assisted Living in Edgerton.

Gladys "Delight" Clarke
(1908-2005)

Gladys -Delight' Clarke, 96, of Bryan, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Hillside Country Living, Bryan, where she had been a resident.
Born Aug. 26, 1908, in Marion, Ind., to Sarah (Hedrick) and William Bowman, she married Ralph V. Clarke Sr. in 1925 and he preceded her in death on July 4, 1992.
Retired from Sears in Fort Wayne, Ind., in 1975, she moved to Bryan from Lake Gage, Ind. in the same year. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Bryan, and a past member of the Women of the Moose, Bryan.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph V. (and wife, Loie) Clarke Jr. of Bryan and Donald (Linda) Clarke of Grafton, Wisc.; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Herbert Bowman; a sister, Mae; a daughter-in-law, Jeannine Clarke; and a granddaughter, Kim Larson, both of Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Burr Funeral Home & Crematory of Bryan.
Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Marrow to officiate. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, 1606 W. 26th Street, Marion, Ind.
Memorials may be made to Hillside Country Living, First Presbyterian Church, Williams County Red Cross or an organization of the donor's choice.

James K. Karl Sr
(1932-2005)

WAUSEON - James K. Karl Sr., 72, of Wauseon, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
Born May 22, 1932, at Pittsburg, Pa., to Thelma (Delaney) and Jacob Karl, he married his first wife, Betty, in 1952 and she preceded him in death in 1994. In 1996 he married Laura Towne and she survives.
Prior to his retirement in the early 1990s, he had worked as a salesman for Toledo Auto Trim.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War and was also a member of Crossroads Evangelical Church in Wauseon.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Janice) Rock of Maumee; a son, James (and wife, Tommie) Karl Jr. of Bowling Green; a stepson, Brian Eitniear of Orlando, Fla.; stepdaughters, Terri Abouds of Orlando, Fla. and Carolyn Davis of Stryker; three grandchildren; and five stepgrandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. in the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Wes Hoffmire to officiate. Interment services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in St. JosephÕs Cemetery in Maumee.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Crossroads Evangelical Church.

Cynthia Stryker
(1957-2005)

EDGERTON - Cynthia A. 'Cindy' Stryker, 47, of Edgerton, died Thursday evening, March 24, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio-Bryan, following an extended illness.
Born May 18, 1957, at Fort Wayne, Ind., to Pauline (Brenning) and James Perkins, she married Jeffrey Stryker on June 7, 1997, at Edgerton, and he survives.
A 1976 graduate of North Side High School in Fort Wayne, Ind., she was a member of St. MaryÕs Catholic Church in Edgerton.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Steve Heath II of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two daughters, Heather Darrow of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Megan Derrow of Edgerton; two granddaughters, Chaeli Heath and Cynthia Garcia, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; four brothers, Bobby Joe Perkins of New Haven, Ind., Eugene, David and James Jr. Perkins, all of Fort Wayne, Ind.; six sisters, Mary Brown of New Haven, Ind., Paula Wertenberger of Pierceton, Ind., Jennie Leslie of Fort Wayne, Ind. Rose Dubs of Churubusco, Ind., Laura Van Holten of Las Vegas, Nev. and Bonnie Pollitt of Albion, Ind.; and her mother and stepfather, Paula (Perkins) and Cliff Snyder of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton, with recitation of the rosary at 8 p.m.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Edgerton with Father Thomas Oedy to officiate. Burial will follow in St. MaryÕs Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cancer Assistance of Williams County or to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Hospice Care.

Anna L. McGowan
(1930-2005)

Anna L. McGowan, 74, of Bryan, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio-Bryan.
Born Oct. 16, 1930, to Gladys (Freeman) and Ted Clark, she married Lowell McGowan on Jan. 3, 1952, and he survives.
She was a member of the Madison Church of God near West Unity.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Charles McGowan of Wooster and William McGowan of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a daughter, Mary Doriot of Bryan; grandchildren, Andrew (and wife, Jenny) Doriot of Stryker and Nick (and fiancee, Kelly) Doriot of Greer, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Logan and Breanna Doriot; three brothers, William Clark of Bryan, Roy Clark of Albuquerque, N.M. and Ralph Clark of Colorado; and a sister, Bonny Ashley of Aptos, Calif.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 4-8 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Waggoner to officiate. Interment will follow in the Shiffler Cemetery near Pulaski.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation or the Madison Church of God.

John Allen Harper
(1958 Ñ 2005)

Celebrating the life of a man of God, Loving Husband and Father, Prophet John Allen Harper Sr., born May 17, 1958 in Winchester, Tennessee, returned home on March 20, 2005. John A. Harper Sr., an elder of Commissioned International Church, and a successful businessman of Harper Automotive, Inc. will be truly missed by family and friends world wide. Preceded in death by father George W. Harper.
Survived by wife Chris Harper, sons John Jr. (wife Barbara) and Joshua (wife Amanda), daughter Jennifer Rejoice, and goddaughter Elizabeth Racheal Karpov. Mother Nancy Jean Harper, two brothers Randy and Joe (wife April), sisters Melinda Durant, Sue Stidham (husband Rob), Diane Reklau (husband Norman), Denise Thompson (husband Jeff). On behalf of the family we would like to thank you for your prayers and support during our time of loss. A trust fund has been established for the Harper family at Commissioned International Church, PO Box 930, 608 W. Oakland Ave. Oakland, Fl 34760. Prophet JohnÕs Favorite Verse: 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.' Jeremiah 29:11 A memorial service will be held Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the River of Life Worship Center, Montpelier, with Pastors Homer Miller, Don Harris and Craig Peffley to officiate. River of Life is located 1/4 mile east of Ohio 15 on U.S. 20-A.

Anita Esquibel-Floor
(1963-2005)

TOLEDO - Anita Esquibel-Floor, 41, of Toledo, died Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at her residence. Born Dec. 22, 1963, at Wauseon, to Rebecca (Fuentes) and Benjamin Esquibel Sr., she married Gary Floor on July 21, 2001, and he survives.
A 1982 graduate of Defiance High School, she was a homemaker and had worked for the Kidney Foundation and their support groups. She was also a graduate of Northwest Technical College and Spanish Bible Institute. She attended Calvary Assembly of God in Toledo.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by stepsons, Troy (and wife, Alicia) Floor and Matthew (Tara) Floor, both of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a brother, Benny Esquibel Jr. of Archbold; two sisters, Nora Esquibel of Mission, Texas, and Mrs. Gilbert (Norma) Martinez of Defiance; and parents.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-9 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance, and Friday from 10-11 a.m. in the Archbold Assemblies of God-Templo Cristiano, Archbold. A remembrance service will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Misael Rodriguez to officiate. Burial will be in the Archbold Cemetery.
