CECIL - Timothy L. Shull, 50, died Saturday, October 4, 2008, at Paulding County Hospital.
He was employed at Continental General Tire (Titan Tire) in Bryan.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. at Smith & Brown Funeral Home - Hicksville. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 - 5:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 and after 12:00 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Ronald L. Rupp
Ronald L. Rupp, 63, of Ft. Myers Beach, FL, passed away October 4. He was an executive for Marathon Oil 33 years.
He was preceded in death by father, Dale; and is survived by his wife, Elaine; son, Tim; daughter, Kim; four grandchildren; mother, Veronica Rupp; brothers, Larry and Doug.
Memorial services, Wednesday at 11 a.m., St. John's Christian Church, Archbold. Visitation at Short Funeral Home, Archbold, 2:30 - 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Ford E. Stahler
(1936 - 2008)
MONTPELIER - Ford E. Stahler, 72, of Montpelier, died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, at his residence.
Born Oct. 1, 1936, at Montpelier, to Pauline (Stoy) and Howard Stahler, he married
Patricia Bishop, July 10, 1999. She preceded him in death July 10, 1999.
A 1954 graduate of Edon High School, he served in the Army during peace time.
Retired from Chase Brass & Copper, Montpelier, in 2003, he had worked in the shipping department for 36 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Tammy (David) Shafer, Montpelier, and Anne (Randy) Meyer, Findlay; four stepdaughters, Kay Stahler, Montpelier, Patty Furler, Pulaski, Kathy Bostater, Montpelier, and Bonnie Schilt, DuPont; two stepsons, Sonny Bostater, Bryan and Terry (Kathy) Bostater, Montpelier; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four brothers, Richard (Karen) Stahler, Williams Center, Elsworth Stahler, Pioneer, James (Diana) Stahler, Edgerton, and William (Kathy) Stahler, Cooney; six sisters, Harriet (Charles) Means, Angola, Ind., Margaret (Ted) Gambler, Montpelier, Gladys (LaVern) Cogswell, Montpelier, Linda (David) Jones, Montpelier, Mary Stafford, Edon, and Paula (Tony) Barraco, Hicksville.
He was also preceded in death by his parents; a son, Todd Stahler; two stepdaughters, Sue Austin and Vickie Bostater; a stepson, Danny Bostater; a brother, Royce Stahler; and a grandson, Jamie Schilt.
Visitation will be Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m., Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier.
Services will be Thursday, 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Rumple to officiate.
Interment will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Buffalo cemetery. Graveside rites will be conducted by Montpelier veterans.
Memorials may be made to CHWC - Hospice.
Decon M. Pinkelman
(1973 - 2008)
ARCHBOLD - Decon M. Pinkelman, 34, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 in Janesville, Wisconsin.
Decon was born in Bryan, Ohio on October 20, 1973, the son of Roger and Becky (Jesse) Pinkelman.
Surviving are his children, Madison and Wyatt Pinkelman of Bowling Green, Ohio; his parents, Roger and Becky Pinkelman of Archbold; sister, Jennifer (Geoff) Kujawa of Coxs Creek, KY; brother, Brian Pinkelman of Bloomington, Indiana; and his grandparents, Carl and Mary Ann Pinkelman of Swanton.
Funeral services will be private.
The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Hospice of Williams and Fulton Counties.
Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold has been entrusted with funeral arrangements.
Robert E. 'Bob' Grisier
(1921 - 2008)
SARASOTA, Fla. - Robert E. "Bob" Grisier, 87, Sarasota, formerly of West Unity, Ohio, died October 2, 2008.
Bob was a 1939 graduate of West Unity High School. He studied at Ohio State University before entering World War II. Bob graduated from officer's training candidate school, in Fort Monmouth, Red Bank, New Jersey. He then served his country for four years in New Guinea and the Philippines as a communications officer. He received the rank of captain in the United States Signal Corps.
Upon honorable discharge from the United States Army, Bob worked for American Telephone & Telegraph Company in Toledo, Ohio, for 13 years. He then joined the West Unity Banking Company, working along side his father, Wm. Emerson Grisier. After 24 years, Bob retired as executive vice president. During this time he was instrumental in the merger of Citizens National Bank of Bryan, Ohio to National City Bank of Cleveland. He moved to Venice, FL in 1981 to spend his retirement dealing in real estate investments.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. (Jameson) Grisier; parents, Wm. Emerson and Rachael Helen; brother, Richard F.; and sisters, Ruth Beals and Marilyn Stoltz. He is survived by daughters, Linda Kelsey, Sarasota, FL, Leigh Brooks (Scott), Prior Lake, MN; grandchildren, Lindsay Scowden Cucchi (Jason) Sarasota, FL, Leslie Scowden, Tampa, FL, Nicholas Brooks, St. Cloud, MN and Alexandra Brooks, Des Moines, IA; and great-grandson, Jackson Ryan Cucchi.
In his lifetime he was a charter member of Calusa Lakes Golf Club, Nokomis, The Masons of Ohio, The American Legion and the Loyal Order of the Moose.
Burial will be held at Floral Grove cemetery, West Unity. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the West Unity United Methodist Church, 311 South Liberty Street, West Unity, Ohio 43570.
Clyde L. Tressler
PIONEER - Clyde L. Tressler, 60, died Friday, Oct. 3, 2008, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio - Bryan.
A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date.

Sharron R. Leininger
(1942 - 2008)
Sharron R. Leininger, 66, Montpelier, died Thursday October 2, 2008 in her home following a six week illness.
Born August 17, 1942 at Montpelier, the daughter of Ruth Herzig and Thomas L, Taylor, MD, she was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She was married
to Oliver C. 'Pete' Leininger on June 6, 1960, and he preceded her in death on June 2, 2007.
She was employed at Mohawk Tools, Inc. for 26 years, and after its closing, a machine operator at Powers & Sons, Inc., the past 16 years.
Surviving are three daughters, Christina Lyons, Montpelier; Rebecca (Earl) Foxe, Napoleon; and Tonya (Brad) Patterson, Camden, MI.; seven grandchildren, Tara Sagnimeni, Shaun Ayers, Amber Wolff, Ashley Wolff, Reggie LaPorte, Tasha LaPorte, and Zachary Malone; six great grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Taylor in Florida; and one sister, Patricia Potter, Montpelier.
Private family graveside services will be in Riverside cemetery, Montpelier. There will be no visitation. Preferred Memorials are to Hospice of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers. Arrangements are by Wilson Ð Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier.
Eric Cramer
On September 25, 2008 in Fairfax, VA. Beloved husband of Mary Cramer; loving father of Amy (Todd) Wise, Brian Cramer and Devin (Elmira) Cramer; cherished grandfather of Brittany and Bryce Riden; dear son of Lawrence Cramer and the late Margaret Cramer; caring brother of Patty, Cheryl, Phyllis, Elaine, Richard and Thomas. Eric has served 41 years in various fire departments, beginning at the age of 16 in his hometown of Bryan, Ohio. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with 20 years of service and continued working for the Government since his retirement.
The family received friends on Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 5 to 6:30 PM at the Burke Fire Department, 9501 Old Burke Lake Rd., Burke, VA 22015 where a memorial service was held at 6:30 p.m. Interment, with military honors, will be on Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 1 p.m. in Arlington National cemetery. Everyone attending the service is asked to meet at the Memorial Gate at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Chedo P. Graham
Mr. Chedo P. Graham, 95, formerly of Bryan, and a resident in Deerfield, Illinois, died on September 24.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Graham graduated with a B.S. in civil engineering from Armour (Illinois) Institute of Technology and received an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago.
His career in industrial management spanned more than six decades, including working for a number of years as Chief Engineer at Aro Equipment Corporation. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserve, Corps of Engineers and retired as Lt. Colonel.
While living in Bryan, Mr. Graham was president of the Toastmaster's Club and commander of the Bryan Armory.
He is survived by his wife Radmila, daughter Penelope Walker, graduate of BHS class of 1962, son - in - law David Addison Walker, and grandchildren Elizabeth, Graham and Evan.
His funeral took place in Chicago on September 29 and he is buried in Rosehill cemetery.
Memorial contributions can be made to favorite charities.
Annagene M. Evers
Annagene M. Evers, 76, Wauseon, died Tuesday.
Survived are husband, Melvin; sons, Tabb (Cindy) of Napoleon, Troy of Archbold; daughter, Tammy (Steven) Peters of Archbold; 10 grandchildren; brother, Cletus Miller of Archbold.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday at North Clinton Mennonite Church, Wauseon, interment at 9:30 Saturday in Pettisville cemetery. Visitation 1:30 - 8:30 Friday at the church.

Helen Alison Guinther
(1915 - 2008)
Helen Alison Guinther, 92, passed away peacefully at home on September 5, 2008. Born on December 31, 1915 in New York City, she was the only child of Harry and Mary Ellis Dodge Mayer who later relocated to Defiance Ohio. She married
Beal Dalton Guinther of Montpelier, Ohio in 1945. Helen worked as an administrative assistant at the Ohio Gas Company in Bryan, Ohio from 1954 to 1977.
She moved to Acton, MA with her son David after her husband Beal died in November 2002. Their family moved to San Jose, CA in 2003. Helen relocated to an independent living retirement community in 2005 which provided a burst of new social activities and friendships.
She is survived by her son David and his wife Jane, grandson Troy living in Boston, and granddaughter Kristin, husband Dan and great-grandsons Owen Davis Strellis and Scott Colter Strellis, of San Jose.
A celebration of life service will be held at the Westmont Retirement Center in Santa Clara, Calif., on October 5th at 3:30 pm where Helen will be remembered as a person with a great sense of humor who was friends with everyone and everyone's friend. Ice cream will be served following the service, Helen's Treat!
