Harry L. Bish
(1916 - 2008)
FARMER - Harry L. Bish, 91, of Farmer, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, Ind., following an illness of one week.
Born Nov. 12, 1916, at Paulding County, to Adelaid (Leatherman) and John Wesley Bish, he married
Evelyn Irene Miller on April 12, 1939, in Grover Hill, and she survives.
He worked in construction and was a member of the Farmer Church of Christ.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Eileen (and husband, Robert) Gallant of Michigan City, Ind., Louise (and husband, Marvin) Hartman of Warrenton, Mo. and John W. Bish of Bryan; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Loyd Glen Bish and Max Lee Bish; two grandchildren; three sisters; and four brothers. Visitation will be Sunday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Ken Wellman to officiate. Interment will follow in Riverview Memory Gardens, Defiance. Memorials may be made to Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, Ind., 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
Robert Thomas Peverly
(1929 - 2008)
EDGERTON - Robert Thomas Peverly, 79, of Edgerton, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan, where he was a patient.
Born Jan. 31, 1929, at East Greenbush, N.Y., to Ethel Beatrice (Smith) and Thomas Lidell Peverly, he married
Iva Ann Ruder on Aug. 21, 1954, at North Adams, Mich., and she survives.
A 1955 graduate of Adrian College, Adrian, Mich., he received a bachelor's degree in education. In 1956, he began teaching mathematics in the Edgerton schools, where he taught for 32 years. During this time, he coached cross country, junior high basketball, high school boys basketball, high school girls basketball, and 17 years of baseball, participating in the state baseball tournament in 1979 and placing as runner - up.
He also was long - time director of the summer recreation association in Edgerton. In 1972, he started the Port - A - Pit BBQ business.
A member of the Lick Creek Church of the Brethren in Bryan, a past member of the Edgerton Masonic Lodge and Past Worthy Patron of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mr. Peverly also was a member of the Edgerton Lions Club, serving as charter president when it was reorganized in 1985. He held the position of President three times, as well as membership chairman and tail twister. In 1987, he received the Lion of the Year Award and in 1998 received the honored Melvin Jones Fellowship.
In 2000, he and his wife were recognized as the Edgerton Citizens of the Year.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, Dean Thomas (and wife, Susan) Peverly of Hicksville, David Ray (Ounleyn) Peverly of Auburn, Ind., Daniel Lydell (Leona) Peverly of Edgerton and Dale Robert (Annette) Peverly of Findlay; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two bonus grandchildren and six bonus great-grandchildren; a brother, Richard Lidell Peverly of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.; and a sister - in - law, Barbara Peverly of Rensselaer, N.Y.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald William Peverly, and a sister - in - law, Mary Peverly.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Service will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Edgerton Elementary School gymnasium, Edgerton, with Dr. Bryon Hawbecker to officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove cemetery, Edgerton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Edgerton Lions Club.
Amber Brooke McBride
(1922 - 2008)
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. - Amber Brooke McBride, 15, of Crossville, died Monday, March 31, 2008, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville.
Born Nov. 12, 1992, at Nashville, she was a ninth grade student at Cumberland County High School.
Surviving are her mother, Karen McBride, sisters Tara (and husband, Derek) Myers and Nikki Hartings, and a nephew, Ryder Myers, all of Crossville; and her grandmother, Margaret McBride of Bryan, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Truman McBride.
Services will be today, Friday, at 4 p.m. in Cornerstone Baptist Church in Crossville with Pastor Mike Kerley to officiate.

Ralph C. Lehman
(1921 - 2008)
Ralph C. Lehman, 86, of Bryan, died late Friday, March 28, 2008, at Florida Hospital in Sebring, Fla., where he was a patient. Born Nov. 9, 1921, at Edgerton, to Lydia Rebecca (Krill) and Charles Henry Lehman, he married
M. Adele Connell on Nov. 17, 1946, at Bryan, and she survives.
A veteran of World War II, serving in the Air Force as a pilot, he retired from Hayes - Albion in Bryan with 28 years of service.
He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Bryan and the Methodist Men, a member of First United Methodist Church in Avon Park, Fla., and a member of the Avon Park Activities Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Karen Beth Woods of Wellington, Fla., William Charles (and wife, Kathy) Lehman of Hamilton, Kay Louise (and husband, George) Glendening of Harrisburg, Pa., and Ivan Silva of Santiago, Chile; five grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; a great-grandchild; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Williams, and a brother, Lester Henry Lehman.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan, with Pastor Dwight Bowers to officiate. Interment will follow in Shiffler cemetery, Bryan, with military graveside rites conducted by Bryan V.F.W. Post 2289.

Cheryl A. Savage - Head
(1947 - 2008)
WAUSEON - Cheryl A. Savage - Head, 60, of Wauseon, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at her residence.
Born Dec. 28, 1947, she was the daughter of Irene (Thourot) and Clyde Savage.
She was a bus driver with the Wauseon school system for 10 years and a cook at Elm Street School.
She had been coordinator of religious education for the junior and senior high level and inclusive ministry at St. Caspar Catholic Church in Wauseon, where she was a lifelong member. She was also an active member of the church rosary and altar society, the Life Teen Ministry, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, the music and Eucharist ministry, the Life Beyond Today bereavement group and the Liturgy Committee.
She was also a member of the Wauseon VFW and its ladies auxiliary.
Surviving are three daughters, Michele Raike of Defiance, Meghan (and husband, John) Tishaus of Miamisburg and Molly (Jason) DeWeese of Dayton; two sons, Michael (and wife, Leslie) Head of Weston and Mark (Brigitte) Head of Tucson, Ariz.; two sisters, Susie (Mike) Giguere of Wauseon and Beth (Bill) Mellott of Wauseon; three brothers, Robert (Janet) Savage of Sunnyvale, Calif., William (Barb) Savage of Delta and Tom (Cindy) Savage of Wauseon; and 10 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Friday from 2 - 8 p.m. in the Pope John 23rd room of St. Caspar Catholic Church were a vigil service will be recited at 8 p.m. Funeral mass of Christian burial will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the church with the Rev. Father Edward Schleter and the Rev. Father Robert Holden to officiate. Interment will follow in St. Caspar Catholic cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the St. Caspar Catholic Church Life Teen Ministry.

Robert W. Short
(1919 - 2008)
ARCHBOLD - Robert W. Short, 89, of Archbold, died Tuesday morning, April 1, 2008, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold. Born March 3, 1919, near Archbold, to Eliza (Ligibel) and Albert Short, he married
Myra J. Mulder on Aug. 6, 1949, and she survives. A graduate of Archbold High School and a 1949 graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in agricultural business, he was a lifelong Archbold area resident and farmer.
He served on the Fulton County Soil Conservation Board for a number of years and was an active member of the Archbold United Methodist Church. He also was a member of Rotary International, a Paul Harris recipient, served as past president of the local chapter and was recently honored for his 50 years of perfect attendance.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four sons, John F. (and wife, Melissa) Short of Franklin, N.C., Peter D. (Pamela) Short of Archbold, James R. (Pamela) Short of Marietta, Ga., and Thomas A. (Shireen) Short of Highland Ranch, Colo.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John L. Short and Harold J. Short. Visitation will be Friday from 2 - 8 p.m. in the Fairlawn Chapel. Memorial services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Archbold United Methodist Church with the Rev. David David and Pastor Pamela Short to officiate. Interment will precede in the Lockport cemetery. Short Funeral Home, Archbold, is in charge of arrangements. Weldon M. 'Butch' Glaser

Weldon "Butch" Glaser, 72, of Bryan, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Harborside Healthcare Northwestern Ohio - Bryan, where he was a resident.
Born Jan. 6, 1936, at Fayette, to Catherine (Taylor) and Merle Glaser, he married
Margaret "Peg" Wiles on Oct. 6, 1956, at Decatur, Mich., and she survives.
He had attended Fayette High School in Fayette and was the owner of Glaser Diesel Service from 1972 - 2006.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, and the Bryan Moose Lodge No. 1064.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by seven children, Catherine 'Kate' (and husband, Rick) Hurlbert of Bryan, Mary (Jim) Morris of Alexandria, Ky., Dennis (and wife, Jean) Glaser of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., Bridget (Rhonda McDougall) Glaser of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Meg (Phil) LaMantia, Dan (Jody) Glaser and Susan (Bill) Kidston, all of Bryan; 23 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Lillian) Glaser in Florida; a sister, Roberta (Bob) Arbuckle of Elkhart, Ind.; and a half brother, Wendell Glaser, and a half sister, Rita (Jim) Roth, both of Morenci, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be Friday from 1 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan, with a recitation of the rosary at 8:30 p.m.
Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, with Father Charles Ritter to officiate. Private interment will be in Shiffler cemetery, Bryan.

Beulah E. Mohr
(1921 - 2008)
PAULDING - Beulah E. Mohr, 87, died Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center of Paulding.
Born Feb. 7, 1921, in Blue Creek Township, Paulding County, to Elsie (Timma) and Sank Danklefsen, she married
Doyl R. Mohr on Nov. 11, 1942, and he survives.
A 1942 graduate of the Methodist School of Nursing, Fort Wayne, Ind., she was the co - owner and operator of Mohr's of Scott, Ohio, for 36 years.
She was a member of the County Chapel United Methodist Church of Haviland and the United Methodist Women Society. She also attended the Beach United Methodist Church of Fort Myers, Fla.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Van Wert Chapter No. 28. She was deputy grand matron in 1969. Also, she was a member of the Scott EMS and the Fort Wayne, Ind., Air Stream Trailer Association.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Lynn (and husband, Jerry) Fensler of Defiance and Lois (Richard) Schmucker of Pioneer; a son, Stanley (and wife, Myria) Mohr of Paulding; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Donald Danklefsen.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. and Friday from 10 - 11 a.m. in the DenHerder Funeral Home, Paulding. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be in the Scott cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Scott EMS or the County Inn Enhanced Living Center Activity Fund.

William D. Hammontree, age 61, of Wauseon passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, March 15, 2015. He was born March 13, 1954 in Wauseon to William Dallas and Mary A. (Stutzman) Hammontree. Bill married
Pam S. Bishop on October 29, 1977 and she survives. He was a graduate of Wauseon High School and Toledo University. Bill was a business owner and electrician at Hammontree's Appliance, TV, and Home Entertainment in Wauseon for many years. He was a member of First Christian Church, Wauseon. He enjoyed flying RC airplanes and woodworking.

PAYSON, Ariz. - Ronald C. Adams, 75, of Payson and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, died Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
He was born May 19, 1932, at Napoleon, Ohio, to Gladys Mae (Hill) and Melvin M. Adams. He and his wife, Joann, were married
Oct. 8, 1979, and she survives
. Mr. Adams had moved to Arizona in 1968.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his daughters, Liz (and husband, Scott) Richey of Cornville, Teri (Sam) Lamentola of Mesa, Linda Robertson of Payson, and Lisa (Steve) Waidelich of Stryker, Ohio; sons, Neil (and wife, Gayle) Adams of Carthage, Tenn., and Kent (Lori) Adams of Toledo, Ohio; 15 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Melvin (Leona) Adams of Sylvania, Ohio, and Gerald (Fay) Adams of Defiance, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, three sisters, and son - in - law, Sam.
Funeral and burial services were held in Payson on March 25, 2008. A memorial service for friends and family will take place at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 5845 Elmer Dr., Toledo, Ohio, on Sunday at 1 p.m., with a luncheon immediately following the service.
