Paula F. Daniels
(1944 - 2007)

MONTPELIER - Paula F. Daniels, 62, of rural Montpelier, died Friday, June 22, 2007, shortly after admittance to Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers - Montpelier.
Born Sept. 20, 1944, at Kenton, to Cleone (Torrey) and Paul Fernbaugh, she married George Daniels on Nov. 20, 1987, at Toledo, and he survives.
She was employed in the accounting department at the Dana Corporation at the corporate headquarters in Toledo for 17 years until her retirement in the mid - 1980s.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Jeff Moss of Ackworth, Ga. and Don Moss of Toledo; 11 grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Julie Bright of Grainger, Ind. and Mary Theil of Archbold; and a brother, John Fernbaugh of Bowling Green.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no services or visitation.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

Albert J. Kline
(1924 - 2007)

WAUSEON - Albert J. Kline, 82, of Wauseon, died Monday, April 9, 2007, at his home.
Born May 2, 1924, at Wauseon, he was the son of Helen M. (Kelly) and Albert W. Kline. Prior to his retirement, he had worked for the former Wauseon Refuse.
Among his survivors are two nephews, Rick Kline of Fayette and Mike Kline of Charlotte, N.C. Graveside services will be held Monday, July 2, at 9:30 a.m. in the Wauseon Union cemetery with Pastor Donna Stutzman to officiate. Veterans services will be conducted by the Fulton County Honor Guard.

Danny Akers
(1954 - 2007)

HICKSVILLE - Danny Akers, 52, Hicksville, died Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
Born Oct. 16, 1954, in Dorton, Ky., he was the son of Dina (Flannery) and Luther Akers. In 2003, he married Kay Schoonover, and she survives.
He worked at Air - Way Manufacturing Co. in Edgerton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jamie (and wife, Christina) Bigger of Montpelier; three sisters, Betty Akers of Edgerton, Elizabeth Scott of Michigan and Anzie Akers of Kentucky; two brothers, Greg of Kentucky and Michael of Bryan; and eight grandchildren, Taylor Bigger, Elizabeth Cleaveland, Chandler Bigger, Marshall Bigger, Noah Bigger, Ashton Bigger, Cody Cleaveland, and Cody and Dakota Wiseman.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. today at Smith and Brown Funeral Home in Hicksville, with graveside services at 3 p.m. at Farmer cemetery.

Charles G. Geren
(1929 - 2007)

CAMDEN, Mich. - Charles G. Geren, 77, of rural Camden, died Sunday afternoon, June 24, 2007, at his home following a lingering illness.
Born Dec. 24, 1929, at Evansport, Ohio, to Mary (Ridenour) and Lester G. Geren, he married Delores J. Lambright on Oct. 16, 1951, at Angola, Ind., and she survives.
A Hillsdale County resident most of his adult life, he was a 1947 graduate of Montpelier High School, Montpelier, Ohio, and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He had retired in 1994 from Addison Products Inc., Jonesville, where he had been employed for over 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five sons, Douglas (and wife, Mary) Geren of North Adams, Leroy G. Geren of Camden, Patrick A. (Terry) Geren of Edon, Ohio, Lee M. (Cindy) Geren of Flint, Ind. and Leo K. Geren of Mongo, Ind.; four daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Cheryl A.) Hughes of Bronson, Mich., Mrs. Tony (Christine L.) Boyd of Orlando, Fla., Mrs. Earl (Connie M.) Gile of Latty, Ohio and Mrs. Chuck (Chawney L.) Gambler of Montpelier, Ohio; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers, John Geren of Bryan, Ohio, Dave (Doris) Geren and Tom (Judy) Geren, both of Montpelier; and a sister, Margaret Warner of Montpelier.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two stepbrothers, Bill Buehrer and Kenneth Buehrer. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the family home, 13520 Gilmore Road, Camden.
Family services will be private. Arrangements are by Wilson - Geesey Funeral Home, Montpelier. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hillsdale County.

John Michael Abbruzzese Jr.
(1949 - 2007)

(1949 - 2007) John Michael Abbruzzese Jr., 58, of Bryan, died Sunday, June 24, 2007, at his residence after an illness of several months.
Born April 6, 1949, at Chicago, Ill., to Marion and John Michael Abbruzzese Sr., he married Lee Ann Allen on Nov. 1, 1969, at Chicago, Ill., and she survives.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1967 - 1973, including a tour in Vietnam in 1968.
A butcher with the Edgerton Locker for 10 years, he also drove truck for many years and was a mechanic with Bob's Marathon in Bryan for the past 17 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father, John Michael Abbruzzese Sr. of Chicago, Ill.; a son, Michael T. (and wife, Boni) Abbruzzese of Edgerton; a daughter, Mrs. Ed (Lisa Marie) Burger of Bryan; five grandchildren, Megan, Kelly and Madison Burger, Brigette Ridgeway and Thomas Jon Abbruzzese; brothers, Pat (Treasa) Allen of Edgerton, Vito and Mario Abbruzzese, both of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Ron (Carmella) Palmer and Mrs. Chuck (Donna) Gunther, both of Chicago; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Michael Thomas Abbruzzese; and his in - laws, John and Lou Allen.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Bryan.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with Father Charles Ritter to officiate. Interment will follow in Shiffler cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by VFW Post No. 2489.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Timothy Fitzenrider
(Died April 22, 2015)

Timothy M. Fitzenrider, age 61, of Napoleon and formerly of Bryan passed away Wednesday April 22, 2015 at the Filling Home of Mercy in Napoleon. He had worked at the Quadco Rehabilitation Center in Stryker for many years.
Tim was born on February 27, 1954 in Wauseon, Ohio the son of the late Harry Fitzenrider and Doris Boetz. He had attended the Sunnyside School and the Enrichment Center in Montpelier and the Bryan Care Center.
Surviving is Mother; Doris Boetz of Stryker, brother; Tony (Meta) Fitzenrider of Bryan, niece Rhonda (Greg) VanDyke, great-niece Caitlyn VanDyke, great-nephew Logan VanDyke, nephew; Chip (fiance` Cyndy) Fitzenrider, nephew; Chad (Ann) Fitzenrider and great-niece; Brynn. Also surviving are Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Preceding him in death was his father; Harry, step-mother Mae Fitzenrider, step-father Maurice Boetz and brother Tom Fitzenrider.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday April 28, 2015 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker with Pastor John MacFarlane officiating. Interment will follow in the Stryker cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00pm on Monday. Memorial contributions be made to either the Filling Home of Mercy, N - 160 SR 108, Napoleon, Ohio 43545 or the Bryan Care Center, 1211 Cardinal Dr., Bryan, Ohio 43506. Laura A. Crossgrove Baer
(1917 - 2007)

ARCHBOLD - Laura A. Crossgrove Baer, 89, of Archbold, died Thursday afternoon, June 21, 2007, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home, Archbold, where she had resided since Oct. 30, 2001.
Born Sept. 30, 1917, on the family farm near Archbold, to Mary (Wyse) and Charles Crossgrove, she married Clarence Baer on March 17, 1939, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 17, 1993.
Following school and before marriage, she worked at the former Archbold Ladder Co. but most of her life she spent as a homemaker.
In the 1960s, she and her husband served through the Mennonite Board of Missions and Charities in Puerto Rico for six years, where she worked in the Aibonito Mennonite Hospital. She also made, decorate and sold cakes for any occasion in the Archbold area and in Puerto Rico.
She was the author of "A Closer Look" and was a member of West Clinton Mennonite Church near Pettisville and the Flower Club in Aibonito.
Surviving are four children, John (and wife, Cathi) Baer of Archbold, Mrs. Lowell (Judith) Kulp of Lake Kiowa, Texas, Nathan (Judy) Baer and Mark Baer, both of Archbold; a daughter - in - law, Joan Baer of Maumee; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; nine stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters - in - law, Stella Wyse Crossgrove, Lucille Wyse Crossgrove and Kathryn Roth Crossgrove, all of Archbold.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Joseph Baer; a granddaughter, April Baer; five brothers, Franklin Crossgrove, Henry Crossgrove, Walter Crossgrove, Ralph Crossgrove and Chauncey Crossgrove; two sisters, Cora Crossgrove and Mary Schrock.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1 - 3 p.m. in the West Clinton Mennonite Church.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the church with Pastor emeritus Edward Diener to officiate. Private interment was in the Pettisville cemetery with Pastor James Roynon officiating. Short Funeral Home, Archbold, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home.

Nancy R. O'Brien

NEW HAVEN, Ind. - Nancy R. O'Brien, 62, formerly of Bryan, Ohio, died Friday, June 22, 2007 at Harborside Healthcare Center in New Haven.
Born in Fort Wayne, she was an administrative assistant in medical records at Lutheran Hospital for seven years. She was a member of Trinity English Lutheran Church and the American Legion.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Raymond (Ann) Geverink of Fort Wayne; a grandson, Justin Trevor Geverink of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Sarah Miles of Lagrange.
Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Ronald T. O'Brien.
Visitation will be Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. in the D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor James Cress officiating.
Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Indiana Kidney Foundation.

Mildred Louise Davis
(1932 - 2007)

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - Mildred Louise Davis, 74, formerly of Bryan, Ohio, died unexpectedly Tuesday, June 19, 2007, at Spartenburg, S. C.
Born July 30, 1932, at Defiance, Ohio, to Hulda (Schmidt) and Anthony Timmerman, she married Lowell Davis on Sept. 17, 1954, and he survives.
A 1950 graduate of Ney High School, she lived in the Bryan area until 1998, when she retired from Robinair Manufacturing and moved to Summerville.
While living in the Bryan area, she was active in the Lillian Chapter 41, the Order of the Eastern Star, was a member of the Sweet Adelines for several years and was one of the Timmerman Sisters.
She formerly sold Tupperware and was frequently a top saleswoman. After moving to Summerville, she became involved in the Summerville Community Church and was a member of the Summerville Eastern Star Chapter.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Vickie Davis of Montpelier; sons, Mike (and wife, Laura) Davis of Ashley, Ind., Allan (Dawn) Davis of Bryan, John Davis of Summerville and Bill (Mary) Davis of Montpelier; grandchildren, Stephanie Davis, Edgerton, Mrs. Bill (Lindsay) Lingle of Archbold, Mrs. Josh (Elizabeth) Wells of Fayetteville, N.C., Mrs. Todd (Emily) Meyers of Edon, Jeffrey, Joshua and Joy Davis, Summerville, S.C.; three great-grandchildren, Emma Lingle of Archbold, Shelby Meyers of Edon and Caleb Wells of Fayetteville; and sisters, Norma Chester of Fort Wayne, Ind., Margaret Koehler of Paris, Ill., Thelma Wetmore of Stryker, Rose Beery of Tampa, Fla., and AJ Schweitzer of Bryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Lawrence, Adolph, Paul and Joseph Timmerman; and sisters, Nancy Timmerman and Betty Wolfe.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 - 8 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home, Montpelier.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Mike D. Raypholtz to officiate. Interment will be in Riverview Memory Garden, Defiance.
Preferred memorials are to the Eastern Star Benevolence Fund.

Nikki Lee (Wendorf) Alford
(1977 - 2007)

COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. - Nikki Lee (Wendorf) Alford, 29, of Columbia City and formerly of Edon, Ohio, died Thursday, May 24, 2007, at Parkview Memorial Hospital in Fort Wayne, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Whitley County.
Born Aug. 20, 1977, at Angola, she was the daughter of Kay Ann (Fikel) and Larry Laverne Wendorf of Edon, Ohio.
A 1995 graduate of Edon High School, she graduated from International Business College with an associate degree in accounting.
She was employed as a key accounting supervisor with Richard J. Bagan Co. in Columbia City. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Travis Braden Wendorf of Martinsville; a sister, Kiki Sue Kimball of Blackey, Ky.; two nephews, Cheyenne Miquel Kimball and Blaine Earl Kimball; two nieces, Kala Sue Kimball and Kendra Nicole Kimball; her companion, Bill Brisentine of Columbia City; and numerous aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Zelda and Francis Fikel and William and Inez Wendorf.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 - 8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edon.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Eric Dailey to officiate. Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Edon Public Library.

Debra D. Rolen
(1956 - 2007)

WALDRON, Mich. - Debra D. Rolen, 50, of Waldron and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, and Jamestown, N.Y., died Friday, May 25, 2007, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.
Born July 11, 1956, at Jamestown, N.Y., to Beverly J. (Gustafson) and Clarence D. Alger, she married James Rolen on April 5, 1974, at Toledo, and he survives.
She was employed at Kamco in West Unity, Ohio.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Jennifer Cully of Toledo, Christina Rodgers of Nettle Lake, Ohio, and Sandra Smith of Waldron; eight grandchildren, Joey, Ashlyn, Cody, Caleb, Megan, Chelsea, James II and Alyssa; her mother and stepfather, Beverly and Chester Appleton of Knoxville, Tenn.; father, Clarence Alger of Jamestown, N.Y.; five sisters, Mrs. George (Susan) Hannah, Julie Spade, Mrs. Randy (Jan) Booth, Mrs. Ralph (Kathy) Mitchell and Billie Jo Appleton; three brothers, Bruce Alger, Brian (Lori) Alger and Mike (Bettie) Alger; father - in - law, Troy Rolen; in - laws, Troy (Dottie) Rolen, Mrs. Howard (Kathy) Hillard, Jackie Rolen, Terry (Linda) Rolen and Wes Whitney; and special friends, Mrs. Bill (Cheryl) Clark, Ed Merillat and family.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Whitney; maternal grandparents, Carl and Ester Gustafson; and mother - in - law, Geraldine Rolen.
Visitation will be Monday from 5 - 8 p.m. in the Eagle Funeral Home, Fayette.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Clyde Wonders to officiate.
