Jennifer Lynn Adams

Jennifer Lynn Adams, age 33, passed away after a brief illness at The Toledo Hospital August 7, 2003. Jennifer was a housekeeper and full time mom. Jennifer was born in Wauseon on October 7, 1969. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Lloyd and Eva Kinsman and Louise and James Dockery, She is survived by children Alexandria Louise Adams, Cody Curtis Adams, Jaime Nicole Adams, Kasey Danielle Adams, Andrew Logan Coutts, parents Jamie (step father - Jim) Ingersoll, Ronald (special friend Patricia Wheeler) Kinsman, and sisters Kristina (Gregory) Adkins, and Kellie Cole and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Edgar and Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon. Visitation times will be on Saturday from 6:00 - 8:00PM and Sunday from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00PM and Monday at 12:00PM - 1:00PM Services will be held at 1:00 on Monday with Pastor Ralph Williams of South Toledo Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow at the Wauseon Union cemetery. In remembering Jennifer, the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the children c/o Jamie Ingersoll.

Dorothy M. Tracy

Dorothy M. Tracy, 61, of Wauseon passed away Monday August 4, 2003 in her home. Mrs. Tracy was employed by Swanton Healthcare.
Mrs. Tracy was born in Henry County on December 4, 1941 to Walter and Florence (Robertson) Merrill. On March 24, 1973 she married Lowell Tracy and he preceded her in death. She was a member of the Wauseon Community Church.
Surviving are three daughters; Shay (Brian) Meyer of Wauseon, Melissa (Chris) Snyder of Elyria, OH, Angela Tracy of Wauseon, eight grandchildren and one step-son; Spencer Tracy of Delta. Preceding her in death besides her husband Lowell were her parents and one brother David Merrill.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Saturday August 9, 2003 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon with Pastor Wesley Glines officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 - 5:00 and 7:00 - 9:00pm on Friday. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider either the Swanton Health Care Residents Fund or the American Heart Assoc.

Lela M. Cole

Lela M. Cole, 83, of Wauseon, Ohio died Thursday night at Heartland of Wauseon. She was born June 3, 1920 in Coxton, Kentucky to the late Manny Drummonds and Bessie Noe Drummonds. She married Tom Cole in March 1947 and he survives. She was a lifelong homemaker. She was a member of the DAV and Maumee Valley POW.
Survivors: Husband; Tom Cole, Wauseon. Children: Bruce (Cecilia) Cole, Wauseon, Ohio, Lettie Hornsvy, North Carolina. Tommy (Barbara) Cole, Northwood. Rita (James) Murphy, Wauseon. Clairene (Marvin) Sheely, Toledo, Ohio. 15 Grandchildren. 21 great-Grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a daughter; Wilma Pitts and brother, Charles Drummonds.
Graveside service and interment, 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2003, in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of family choice. Friends may call 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday in the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home, Wauseon, Ohio.

Paul L. Balser

Paul L. Balser, 85, of Wauseon passed away late Thursday July 31, 2003 at the St. Anne/ Mercy Hospital in Toledo. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Balser was employed by the former Seco Corp. in Wauseon.
Mr. Balser was born in Fulton County on December 22, 1917 to Ray and Wavel (Sentil) Balser. On April 26, 1943 he married Aldie Getzen and she survives. He was a member of the Robinson0 - Gibbs American Legion Post in Wauseon. Surviving besides his wife, Aldie is one son; Dan (Gwen) Balser of Phoenix, AZ, two daughters; Sharon Miller of Wauseon, Deb (Paul) Celani of Wauseon ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister; Bernetice (Clyde) Kenney of Wauseon. Mr. Balser was preceded in death by one brother; Harold and two sisters; Peg and Thelma.
Funeral services will be held at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon at 11:00am Monday August 4, 2003 with Rev. Keith Oditt officiating. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 - 8:00pm on Sunday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Alcoholics Anonymous, Robinson - Gibbs American Legion Post or the charity of the Donors choice.

Lucille W. Leininger

Lucille W. Leininger, 72, of Pettisville, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2003. She was born in Fulton County on July 20, 1931 to George O. and Martha (Nagel) Leininger.
Lucille was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, where she had served as the organist, choir director and Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a bus driver for the Pettisville Schools and Quadco. She sang with the Toledo Choral Society. She had worked as a librarian for the Wauseon Public Library. She had played accordian with the Polka Chips Band, with daughters Linda and LuAnn, touring with the band in Europe and Hawaii several times.
Surviving is her mother Martha M. Leininger of Pettisville; three daughters Lucinda Sue (Darrel) Garmenn of Wauseon, LuAnn Sue (Michael) Armstrong of Bronson, MI, Linda Lou Roth of Wauseon; one sister Doris (John) Arnos of Ridgeville Corners, two grandchildren David W. Garmenn and Shelly Banta; and one great-grandson Bejamin G.W. Banta.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at Emmaus Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Thomas Lutz, officiating. Interment will follow in the St. James cemetery near Archbold. Friends may call at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the families choice.

William G. Bishop

William G. Bishop, 65, of rural Delta, died Sunday evening in Toledo. Prior to his retirement he had worked in concrete manufacturing in Florida.
Mr. Bishop was born near Delta on March 31, 1938 to George and Alberta (Vondran) Bishop. He graduated from Delta High School in 1956.
Surviving are two sons William (Amy) Peabody of Swanton, Robert Peabody of Swanton; three daughters Gail and Roberta of Florida, and Renee (Keith) Weinkem of Defiance; eight grandchildren; two sisters Carol (Don) Colon of Wauseon, Janice (Paul) Riegsecker of Wauseon, and special friend Nancy Fahrer of Delta. He was preceded in death by one brother James, and both parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 30, 2003 at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon, with Pastor Chuck Whitmire, officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenlawn cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the chairty of the donor's choice.

Donald T. Echler

Donald T. Echler, age 79 of Toledo passed away on October 18, 2003 in Hospice of NW Ohio following a long battle with cancer. He was born October 4, 1924 in Montpelier, Ohio to Vernice and Leota Echler.
Don served with the U.S. Navy in WWII. He sold Scales until his retirement in 1986. In both 1961 and 1965, Don was president of Toledo scale 100% club. He raised his family in Delta, where he was president of PDY school board. Don was a member of American Legion post #0373. From 1959 - 60 he served as master of Fulton lodge #248 F and AM.
Surviving are his loving wife, Fran, five children, Frank (Judy) of Delta, Ron (Carol) of Swanton, Peggy (Ron) Dyal of Pemberville, Rob "Cork" (Mindy) of Yuma Co. and Jill (Mike) Halpin of Delta, 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and an infant grandson. Six brothers and sisters survive. Also remaining to mourn their master are Don's Brittanys, Ike and Brylie.
Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home, Delta on Monday October 20, 2003 from 2 - 9pm. Masonic services will be held at 7pm Monday. Funeral services will be October 21, 2003 at 11am in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Greenlawn cemetery, Delta with Rev Harold Rhoads officiating.
The family suggest memorials to Hospice of NW Ohio.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change courage to change the things I can and wisdom to know the difference.

Irene M. Peters

Irene M. Peters, 86, of Delta, died Monday morning, Oct. 13, 2003. Mrs. Peters was born in Delta on June 4, 1917 to Perry and Tressa (Baldwin) Churchill. On June 4, 1938 she married Raymond Peters, and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of Delta United Methodist Church., and had served as a volunteer for many years at the Fulton County Health Center.
Surviving are two daughters Nancy (Hank) Hagerman of Delta, Kay (Bernie) Oliver of Louisville, KY: one son Robert (Linda) Peters of Delta; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers Vernon and Robert Churchill; and one sister Ivah Wyant.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2003 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Delta. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Delta Hands of Grace or Delta Fire & Rescue.

Eva A. Woolace

Eva A. Woolace, 88, of Stryker passed away Saturday October 11, 2003 at Fairlawn Haven in Archbold. Prior to her retirement she was employed by Strydel in Stryker.
Mrs. Woolace was born in Bridgewater Center, Williams County on April 18, 1915 to John and Ellen (Scantlen) Traxler. On April 18, 1935 she married Hubert E. Woolace and he preceded her in death in 1977. Mrs. Woolace was a member of the Evansport United Methodist Church.
Surviving are three sons; Larry (Melva) Woolace, Terry (Jane) Woolace, and Gary (Kay) Woolace all of Stryker, 17 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister; Goldie Fackler of Camden, MI. Preceding her in death besides her husband was one daughter; Vivian, six brothers and four sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Tuesday October 14, 2003 at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker with the Pastor David Voll officiating. Interment will follow in the Evansport cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00pm on Monday. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Evansport United Methodist Church.

Jack A. Bonar

Jack A. Bonar, 66, of Wauseon, died suddenly Saturday evening at Bethesda North Hospital in Cincinnati. Prior to his retirement in 1992 he had been an engineer for Central Foundry in Defiance for 35 years.
Mr. Bonar was born in Wauseon on March 12, 1937 to Dale and Edna (Wyse) Bonar. On Oct. 26, 1973 he married Margaret Ehrat, and she survives. He was a member of Christ United Methdoist Church in Wauseon, and a member of the Blind River Snow Riders Association, where he had also served that organization as a director.
Surviving, besides his wife, Margaret, is his mother Edna Bonar of Archbold; four daughters Jennifer (Scott) Emery of Winter Park, CO, Jill Bonar of Columbus, Kris Daley of Ashland, OR, Karen Hall of Bryan; two sons John Bonar of Hamilton, IN, Joe Bonar of Mesa, AZ; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters Rita (Wes) Rupp of Wauseon, Jean (Rod) Kauber of Granby, CO, and many special nephews and neices. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Bonar.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, October 10, 2003 at Christ United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Suzanne Fountaine, officiating. Friends may call at the Edgar - Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon on Thursday from 2 - 5 and 7 - 9 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Christ United Methodist Church or the charity of donor's choice.

Lona M. Weller

Lona M. Weller, age 90, of Wauseon, Ohio, and formerly of Continental, Ohio, died Saturday, November 29, 2003, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, Ohio.
She was born in Defiance County on August 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Frank Weller and the late Orpha (Grant) Weller. On Dec. 25, 1944 she married Wayne Weller, and he preceded he in death in 2002.
She is survived by: One Daughter, Roberta (Jake) Manz of Wauseon, Ohio
One grandchild - Rick (Beth) Manz of Archbold, Ohio
Four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne, one son Lyle Weller, one brother Olin Schubert, and one sister Ruth Porter.
Funeral services will be at Continental United Methodist Church in Continental, Ohio at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 3, 2003, with the Rev. Greg Wack, officiating. Interment will be at Mount Zion cemetery in Continental, Ohio. Friends may call at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 5 - 7 P.M. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home.
