David Fallon
(1969 - 2005)

ALVORDTON - David Fallon, 36, of Alvordton, died Monday, April 18, 2005, at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon.
Born Feb. 25, 1969, in Morenci, Mich., to Sharon (Fox) and James Fallon, he married Shelly Gogolin on Dec. 22, 1995, in Toledo, and she survives.
Employed at Ferro Corporation in Stryker as a line leader, he had lived in the Fayette area for the past 15 years, moving from Colorado.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Chelsea; a sister, Mrs. Alden (Michelle) Williams of Morenci, Mich.; his father, James (and wife, Joyce) Fallon of Fayette; grandmother, Margaret Fox of Morenci; stepfather, Gary Merillat of Colorado; a half sister, Jennifer Sell of Fayette; stepbrother, Shawn Quigley of Milan; and a nephew, Steven Williams of Morenci.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Fox; and a brother, Steven Merillat in infancy. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Morenci. There will be no visitation or viewing.
Funeral arrangements were through the Eagle Funeral Home-Charles Fink Chapel in Morenci. Memorials may be made to Chelsea for college.

Louise E. Briley

EAST ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Louise E. Briley, 83, of East Englewood, and formerly of Xenia, Ohio, died Thursday, May 12, 2005, in Florida.
Services are pending at McColaugh Funeral Home Inc., Xenia.

Frank L. Beckwith Jr.
(1920 - 2005)

MASON, Texas - Frank L. Beckwith Jr., 84, of Mason, Texas, and a former Montpelier, Ohio resident, died April 13, 2005, at the Fredericksburg, Texas Hospital following a lingering illness.
Born Nov. 13, 1920, in Huntington, Ind., to Hazel (Knapp) and Frank L. Beckwith Sr., he married Ellen Demming and she preceded him in death in 2000.
A retired farmer and self-employed electrician, he was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of World War II. Surviving are a son, Frank L. Beckwith III of Indianapolis, Ind.; three daughters, Ruth Long and Dorothy Herendeen, both of Love Park, Fla. and Betty Kammer of Kendallville, Ind.; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, William (and wife, Betty) Beckwith of Kendallville, Ind. and Jack (Rose) Beckwith of Montpelier, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Bill (Donna) Kimpel of Hicksville, Ohio, and Mrs. Pat (Marilyn) Obendorf of Montpelier, Ohio.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Darwin Beckwith and Thomas Preston; and two sisters, Lillian Smith and Norma Clementz.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Central United Brethren Church, 207 West Lawrence St., Montpelier, Ohio, with Pastor Mike Martinelli to officiate. Burial was in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas .
Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.

Gary L. "Duke" Partee
(1939 - 2005)

EVANSPORT - Gary L. "Duke" Partee, 65, of Evansport, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at Fort Wayne, Ind., from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident.
Born Nov. 18, 1939, at Evansport, to Doris (Baldwin) and Richard Partee, he married Marilyn Koeppe on Nov. 12, 1982, and she survives.
Prior to his retirement this spring, he had worked at Chase Brass and Copper for over 24 years. He was a member of the Evansport United Methodist Church and had played Santa Claus for Defiance County foster children for the last nine years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two daughters, Carrie Ann Partee of Montpelier and Codi Partee of Evansport; four sons, Christopher (and wife, Rosie) Partee of Toledo, Curtice Partee, Cory Salisbury and Casey (Kit) Salisbury, all of Evansport; seven grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Batt of Defiance and Mrs. Wayne (Karen) Buntain of Evansport; and a brother, Richard (Hazel) Partee of Evansport. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday from 2-9 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Evansport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Deborah L. Kaylor to officiate. Interment will follow in the Evansport Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Sadie Katherine Besancon
(1927 - 2005)

STRYKER - Sadie Katherine Besan¨on, of Stryker and Summerville, S.C., died Thursday, May 5, 2005.
Born April 30, 1927, in Roanoke, Va., to Nannie (Lawrence) and William Lewis Unrue, she married Harry Charles Besan¨on and he preceded her in death.
She attended Stryker Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Marie Besan¨on of Boston, Mass.; two sons, Michael Besan¨on of Evanston, Ill. and Charles Besan¨on of Pelion, S.C.; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. in the Stryker Baptist Church. Interment will be private.
Flowers will be accepted at Stryker Baptist Church or memorials may be made to Child Evangelism Fellowship, P.O. Box 348, Warrenton, MO 63383-0348.

Zelda S. Thiel-Heer
(1911 - 2005)

Zelda S. Thiel-Heer, 93, of Bryan, died Tuesday, May 10, 2005, at the Dilworth Center, Montpelier.
Born July 28, 1911, at Richland, Ind., to Hattie (Nichols) and Perry Dauber, she married Quinn Thiel on June 20, 1930, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 1958. On Nov. 28, 1958, she married Elmer Heer, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 22, 1978.
She had worked at Holabird until her retirement and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Bryan.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Raymond (Sue) Echler of Edon and Nancy Riddle of Bryan; a sister, Mary Arnett of Bryan; a foster brother, Robert Miller of Montpelier; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, three stepgreat-grandchildren, two stepgreat-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jackie Miller; two sons-in-law; and two grandsons.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home-Bryan. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Jon Exman to officiate. Burial will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
Memorials may be made to Williams County Cancer & Hospice.

Jeffery Wayne Kennedy
(1955 - 2005)

SWANTON - Jeffery Wayne Kennedy, 49, of Swanton, died unexpectedly Wednesday, May 4, 2005, near Clinton, Ill.
Born Dec. 30, 1955, in Toledo, to Idonna (Mock) and Donald Kennedy, he married Theresa Caines on Sept. 24, 2003, and she survives. He drove truck for the Crete Carrier Corporation based out of Lincoln, Neb. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his father; children, Jeffery (and wife, Walee) Kennedy Jr. and Betsy Kennedy, both of Bryan and Michael (Tena) Kennedy; grandchildren, Breanna Kennedy, Xander Kennedy and soon-to-be-born baby Kennedy; and a sister, Mrs. Robert (Denise) Stevens. He was preceded in death by his mother Nov. 24, 2004, and a sister, Becky Kennedy. Funeral services were to be held today at 10 a.m. in the Weigel Funeral Home, Swanton. Interment was at Chestnut Ridge Cemetery, Bradner. Memorials may be made to the American Heart and Stroke Association, 5164 Monroe St., Toledo, OH 43623.

Marie "Mary" A. Ordway Barlow
(1946 - 2005)

TOLEDO - Marie "Mary" A. Ordway Barlow, 88, of Toledo and formerly of Defiance, died Friday, May 6, 2005, at Heartland of Oregon.
Born June 20, 1916, at Defiance, to Cleo (Hasselschwerdt) and Joseph Boff, she was married to Floyd Ordway from 1934 to 1964. She was married to Charley Barlow from 1964 to 1967. A production worker at Terry's Camper in Edgerton, she was also an aide at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Ed (Verna) Matthews of Pleasantville, Mrs. Lorin (Alice) Tipton of Toledo, Mrs. Dennis (Donna) Brecht of Continental and Jackie McDermott of Grants, N.M.; three stepsons, Lloyd Ordway of Florida, Ohio, Dewey Ordway of Defiance and Dwight Ordway of Oakwood; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Karen Ordway of Defiance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two sons, John and Leo Ordway; a daughter, Pauline Ordway; a stepdaughter, Faye Scott; a stepson, Bob Barlow; five sisters, Lois Brunner, Rita Sarka, Irene Highland, Dorothy Fronk and Sister Mary Joan "Aunt Micki."
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 1-9 p.m. with a vigil service to be held at 7:30 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Fr. Bernard Boff to officiate. Burial will be in Monroe Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Lucas County Hospice.
