ROBERT LEE MAPLE
Robert Lee Maple, 67, of 8410 State Route 28 East, Martinsville, Ohio died 8:55 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. His wife, Lucille Mae Nelson Maple survives. Mr. Maple was born June 29, 1936 in West Virginia to the late Russell and Juanita Ables Maple. Mr. Maple served in the National Guard and was a retired diesel truck mechanic.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Maple is survived by two sons, Michael (Laura) Maple of Florida and Allen Maple of Martinsville, Ohio; a sister, Ruth (Earnest) Nelson of West Virginia; five grandchildren, Christopher Maple, Elizabeth Green, Jacqueline Maple, Shannon Maple, and Tracy Maple; and two great grandchildren, Austin Maple, and Jacob Green. In addition to his parents, a daughter, Roberta Maple, is preceded in death.
At his request, Mr. Maple will be cremated. The family will hold a memorial service at their convenience.

CLARA J. STORER
Clara J. Storer, 77, of 514 W. High Street, Waynesville, Ohio (formerly of Clarksville, Ohio) went to be with her Lord 1:25 AM, Tuesday, May 4, 2004 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville, Ohio. Her husband, Carey M. Storer, preceded her in death. Mrs. Storer was born February 25, 1927 in Cedarville, Ohio to the late Coleman and Nellie Pence Moore. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Wilmington, Ohio.
Mrs. Storer is survived by two sons, Bill (Neva) Storer of Clarksville, Ohio and Zane (Judy) Storer of Louisville, Kentucky; two daughters, Donna (Ralph) Logan of Wilmington, Ohio and Carolyn (Jay) Wiswell of Wilmington, Ohio; 16 grandchildren, Jeff (Missy) Logan, Jim (Tracey) Hollingsworth, Brett (Renee˘) Hollingsworth, Kimberly (Danny) Haines, Jay Lynn (Jerry) Stapleton, Mark (Jennifer) Wiswell, Jodi (Jeff) Leasher, Mike (Diana) Wiswell, Billie Sue Storer, Zachary Storer, Devanni (John) Pendygraft, Davonne (David) Elliott, Eric Harkness, Melissa Harkness, Tommy (Isshia) Craggs, and Danielle Yaste; and 29 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, a son, David Shaffer, a daughter, Vicky Nell Storer, a sister, Ethel Clements, and two grandchildren, Toyzanne Coates and Sandra Storer are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Immanuel Baptist Church, 550 Virginia Circle, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Steve Knell officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 7, 2004 at the Immanuel Baptist Church.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Immanuel Baptist Church, 550 Virginia Circle, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.

MARGARET HELEN ROUSH
Margaret Helen Roush, 84, of 160 Randolph Street, Wilmington, Ohio died 3:40 PM, Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Samuel F. Roush, preceded her in death. Mrs. Roush was born April 5, 1920 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Herscheal and Anna Anderson McCandless. She was a member of the Martinsville Church of Christ.
Mrs. Roush is survived by a daughter, Carol Sue (Thomas) Shuttleworth of Wilmington, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jalene (Dennis) Ruddle, Tonya (Marty) Jones, and Thomas K. Shuttleworth; and four great grandchildren, Lacie Ruddle, Andrew Ruddle, Tyler Jones, and Matthew Shuttleworth.
In addition to her husband and parents, a son, Kenneth W. Roush, three brothers, Clay McCandless, Glen McCandless, and Jim McCandless, and five sisters, Hazel Pobst, Esther Spicer, Nellie Rothwell, Louise Chandler, and Chloe Jordan are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Monday, May 10, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in the Martinsville I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Monday, May 10, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

WILLARD "BLACKIE" HOLDREN JR.
Willard “Blackie” Holdren Jr., 78, of 352 Randolph Street, Wilmington, Ohio (formerly of Washington Court House, Ohio) died 6:04 PM, Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at his residence. His wife, Mary Lou Secrets Holdren, whom he married August 26, 1947, survives. Mr. Holdren was born June 17, 1925 in Washington Court House, Ohio to the late Willard J. Holdren Sr. and Katherine Binegar Holdren. A 1943 graduate of Wayne High School in Good Hope, Ohio, Mr. Holdren was a Signalman 2nd Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II where he served on a mine sweeper in the Pacific Theater.
Mr. Holdren was a retired real estate broker and owned Holdren Real Estate. Over the course of his life he owned several other businesses including The Circle Carryout & Sportsman’s Corner in Wilmington, Herb’s Yum-Yum Drive Inn in Washington Court House, The Dairy Isle in Washington Court House, and an insurance agency in Greenfield. Ohio. He was also a firefighter for Washington Court House for 7 years, and was involved in farming until his enlistment in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Holdren was an avid outdoorsman who loved everything pertaining to hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He was a member of the Fayette County Fish and Game Association. He was president of the lodge the year their clubhouse was built. Mr. Holdren was a lifetime member of the Clinton County Farmers and Sportsman’s Club, as well as a member of the Cowan Lake Sportsman’s Club, the F&AM; Lodge # 107 in Washington Court House, the B.P.O. Elks #797 in Wilmington, and the American Legion Post 49. He was a member and past president of the Wilmington Lions Club as well as a recipient of the Melvin Jones Award, which is the highest award one can receive from the Lions Club International Foundation for dedicated humanitarian service. He was also the director for the Fayette County March of Dimes Campaign for five years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Holdren is survived by two sons, William Lynn (Debra) Holdren of Centerville, Ohio and Joseph Alan Holdren of Leesburg, Ohio; two daughters, Linda Lou (Bob) Schaeffing of Wilmington, Ohio and Debbie Sue Holdren of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Louise Mosier of Florida; eight grandchildren, Tracy Holdren, Natalie Holdren, Jessica Holdren, Kristy (Scott) Chaffin, Seth Schaeffing, Justin (Mandy) Holdren, Mandy (Thurston) Curry, and Jill Holdren; and four great grandchildren, Andrew Chaffin, Elijah Chaffin, Maddison Chaffin, and Colton Holdren. Mr. Holdren is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Gene Holdren and Everett Binegar, two sisters, Betty Jane Lute and Violet Mae Lawwell, and a grandson, William Joseph Schaeffing are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Monday, May 17, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Jay Lucas officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad. Friends may call from 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. There will be Masonic and Elks services at 7:30 PM, Sunday evening.

SUSIE JANE FRUMP
Susie Jane Frump, 68, of 2866 Reed Road, Sabina, Ohio died 1:20 PM, Saturday, May 15, 2004 at Grant Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Her husband, John W. Frump, whom she married August 11, 1956, survives. Mrs. Frump was born May 12, 1936 in Bainbridge, Ohio to the late Alice Murphy McNeil. She was a graduate of Buckskin High School in South Salem, Ohio. Mrs. Frump worked at Wells Manufacturing in New Vienna for 28 years. She was also a devoted grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Frump is survived by three sons, Dale (Nancy) Frump of South Carolina, David (Margie) Frump of New Vienna, Ohio, and Michael (Kim) Frump of Lees Creek, Ohio; a daughter, Michelle (Aaron) Batson of Lees Creek, Ohio; two stepbrothers, Bob McNeil of Greenfield, Ohio and Willard McNeil of Greenfield, Ohio; a stepsister, Shirley Fuaze of South Salem, Ohio; a cousin, Evelyn Williams of Leesburg, Ohio; and nine grandchildren. In addition to her mother, her stepfather, Irvin McNeil, and a stepsister, Mary Lou Moon, precede Mrs. Frump in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 19, 2004 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home, 64 S. South Street, New Vienna, Ohio with Rev. Wylie B. Perkins officiating. Burial will be in New Vienna I.O.O.F. cemetery. Friends may call from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 18, 2004 at the L. Eugene Smith & Son Funeral Home.

PIERRE “PERRY” ACCOO
Pierre “Perry” Accoo, 40, of 109 Doan Street, Apt. B, Wilmington, Ohio died 10:18 PM, Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Mr. Accoo was born March 15, 1964 in Queens, New York to the late Waydelle J. and Helen Watson Accoo.
Mr. Accoo is survived by his wife, Donna Jean Saxton Accoo; three daughters, Breanna Curtis Accoo of Wilmington, Ohio, Jessica Helen Accoo of Wilmington, Ohio, and Donisha Della Accoo of Wilmington, Ohio; three stepchildren, Darris L. Williams of Wilmington, Ohio, Tiffany M. Williams of Wilmington, Ohio, and Star Saxton of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, Arnold “Chuck” (Thea) Greene of Michigan and Andre R. “Ricky” Accoo of Wilmington, Ohio; five sisters, Margo Bassett of Atlanta, Georgia, Doris Greene of Washington D.C., Janice V. (Ronald W.) Guthrie of Morgan Hill, California, Kim E. Johnson of Wilmington, Ohio, and Bonnie Accoo of Wilmington, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, Waydelle J. “Jerry” Accoo Jr., and a sister, Juanita Accoo, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 7:00 PM, Monday, August 9, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Linda Jones officiating. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, August 9, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

BILLY L. HOWARD
Billy L. Howard, 75, of 146 Woodland Drive, Wilmington, Ohio died 7:00 AM, Sunday, July 18, 2004 at his residence. His wife, Virginia Lieurance Howard is preceded in death. Mr. Howard was born April 8, 1929 in Sabina, Ohio to the late Albert E. and Jessie E. Huffman Howard. He was a graduate of Reesville High School. Mr. Howard served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
Mr. Howard was a long time toolmaker for Bennett Metal in Wilmington, Ohio. He eventually retired from General Electric in Evandale. He was a member and past master of the F&AM; Lodge #52, a member of the York Rite, the Clinton Wood Workers, and the First Christian Church – Disciples of Christ.
Mr. Howard is survived by a daughter, Stephanie (Jeff) Hoffer of Wilmington, Ohio; two brothers, Harold (Joy) Howard of Knoxville, Tennessee and Richard (Gwen) Howard of Sabina, Ohio; four sisters, Evelyn Puckett of Hamilton, Ohio, Carrie Mullenix of Wilmington, Ohio, Sarah Everman of Wilmington, Ohio, and Donna Huffman of Wilmington, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jerod (Heather) Turner, Jason Hoffer, and Kaleb Hoffer; and two great grandchildren, Naomi Turner and Taylor Burden. In addition to his wife and parents, a brother, Albert Howard, is preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, July 22, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Laureen Roe officiating. Burial will be in Springfield Friends cemetery with military honors provided by the American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. Masonic services will be held at 7:30 PM, Wednesday evening.

ELIZABETH DILLON HOGGATT
Elizabeth Dillon Hoggatt, 85, of 5 Victorian Drive, Wilmington, Ohio died 4:00 AM, Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Galen J. Hoggatt, whom she married November 15, 1941, survives. Mrs. Hoggatt was born July 24, 1918 in McDowell, West Virginia to the late Hampton L. and Mildred Miller Dillon. She received a bachelor’s degree in home economics from the University of Cincinnati. Mrs. Hoggatt was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Wilmington, a volunteer at Clinton Memorial Hospital, and an avid bridge player.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hoggatt is survived by two sons, Alan E. (Linda) Hoggatt of Blanchester, Ohio and James H. (Laurie) Hoggatt of St. Louis, Missouri, and four grandchildren, Brittany Hoggatt, Doug Hoggatt, Justin Hoggatt, and Gregory Hoggatt.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 24, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.

ALMA LOUISE ROTHWELL
Alma Louise Rothwell, 66, of 4183 Second Creek Road, Blanchester, Ohio died 12:03 AM, Friday, July 23, 2004 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Her husband, William David Rothwell, whom she married October 20, 1956, survives. Mrs. Rothwell was born August 17, 1937 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Willie and Mary Burns Hyden. She was a graduate of Spring Valley High School.
Mrs. Rothwell was the office manager for the Blanchester branch of the National Farmer’s Organization as well as a homemaker. She attended the Blanchester First Church of God and the Blanchester Church of the Nazarene.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Rothwell is survived by two sons, Stephen Travis (Karen) Rothwell of Maineville, Ohio and Mark Alan (Lori) Rothwell of Peebles, Ohio; two daughters, Mary Kathleen Rothwell of Blanchester, Ohio and Vickie Louise Rothwell of Blanchester, Ohio; a sister, Judy (Harold) Schnatz of Clarksville, Ohio; six grandchildren, Danitra Rothwell, Jordan Rothwell, Kimberly Rothwell, Tyler Rothwell, Shannon Rothwell, and Gage Rothwell; an aunt, Ethel B. Wharton, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Paul Crisp and Rev. Kevin Beck officiating. Burial will be in the Second Creek cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. LOLA FERN PEARSON
Lola Fern Pearson, 76, of 664 Timber Lane, Wilmington, Ohio passed away 5:20 AM, Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio due to complications following major surgery. Her husband, Robert Pearson, whom she married January 19, 1952, survives. Mrs. Pearson was born July 22, 1928 in Russell County, Virginia to the late Dewey and Ruby Sykes Owens.
Mrs. Pearson worked at the McCall Corporation in Dayton, Ohio for several years and later worked for over 20 years at the Ledex Corporation of Wilmington, Ohio. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a volunteer at Clinton Memorial Hospital.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pearson is survived by a daughter, Tana (David) Marshall of Mandeville, Louisiana; a son, Michael Pearson of Brookfield, Connecticut; two brothers, Gilbert (Betty) Owens of Waterloo, Ohio and Bobby Joe (Judy) Owens of Pedro, Ohio; three daughters, Pansy (LaVerne) Gales of Spencerville, Ohio, Delores (John) Ehler of New Lebanon, Ohio, and Lois (Bill) Matney of North Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and a grandson, Michael David Marshall of Mandeville, Louisiana.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Dean Feldmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Friday, July 30, 2004 and 12:00 Noon – 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

CRAIG L. HONNERLAW
Craig L. Honnerlaw, 44, of Wilmington, Ohio died 4:25 AM, Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Honnerlaw was born May 11, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of Kate Wilson Honnerlaw of Wilmington, Ohio and the late Donald Joseph Honnerlaw. He was a 1979 graduate of Wilmington High School. Mr. Honnerlaw had worked at J’s Restaurant in Cincinnati and for the Cincinnati Public Schools. He was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church and was extremely active in the Society of St. Vincent DePaul from 1993 to 2004. Mr. Honnerlaw was currently serving as the organization’s treasurer and was also a past president.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Honnerlaw is survived by two brothers, Jeff (Cheri) Honnerlaw of Wilmington, Ohio and Shawn (Amy) Honnerlaw of Villa Hills, Kentucky; seven nieces and nephews, Brittany Honnerlaw, Breanna Honnerlaw, Bryan Honnerlaw, Brent Honnerlaw, Dylan Honnerlaw, Patrick Mahon, and Henry Mahon; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church, 73 N. Mulberry Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Oak Hills cemetery, Glendale, Ohio. Friends may call from 8:30 AM – 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 2, 2004 at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
