DONNA B. McCOY
Donna B. McCoy, 85, died Saturday, January 26, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill. Mrs. McCoy was born May 17, 1922, in Clinton County. She will be missed for her unfaltering love, consistent good humor, and predictable comments.
She is survived by a daughter, Pat; a son, Bill; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Mick, and a granddaughter, Sammi.
A private memorial for her immediate family will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

CLARREEN CONYERS
Clarreen Conyers, 89, of Xenia Ohio (formerly of New Vienna and Wilmington) died 9:49 AM, Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Hospitality Home East, Xenia, Ohio. Her husband, Frank Lee Conyers, preceded her in death June 14, 1996. They were married January 7, 1939. Mrs. Conyers was born November 14, 1918 in Bath County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank and Pinkie Jane Baird Wilson. She was a graduate of Marshall High School in Highland County.
Mrs. Conyers retired from Clinton Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the New Vienna Senior Citizens and the New Antioch Church of Christ where she had been active in the Women's Fellowship. She was an avid quilter and also enjoyed sewing and crocheting.
Mrs. Conyers is survived by a son, Gary Lee (Karen) Conyers of Ocala, Florida; four daughters, Creada (Harold D.) Vance of Spring Valley, Ohio, Carolyn Robinette of Xenia, Ohio, Connie (Keith) Hagemeyer of Blanchester, Ohio, and Linda (Charles) Peterson of Jacksonville, Florida; 11 grandchildren, Melanie Ryan, Melissa (Jeff) Darding, Michele (Harry) Dressler, Sherry (Daniel) Wood, Kara (T. J.) Adams, Brett (Andrea) Conyers, Jeremy Conyers, Shelly Conyers, Lance Hagemeyer, Curtis Hagemeyer, and Taylor Peterson; and 15 Great Grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, four brothers, Estle Wilson, Clyde Wilson, John Wilson, and Faye Wilson, are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Pastor Isaac J. Flora officiating. Burial will be in New Antioch cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home. MACK C. DIXON
Mack C. Dixon, 70, of Wilmington, Ohio died 1:20 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2008 at his residence. His wife of 46 years, Patricia "Carolyn" Bowman Dixon, survives. Mr. Dixon was born February 1, 1938 in Decatur, Ohio, son of the late Clyde and Etta Newman Dixon. He was a 1956 graduate of Wilmington High School.
Mr. Dixon worked at the Clinton County Farm Bureau before opening the Central Implement Company in Wilmington in 1964. He was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church and was very active in the community, serving in many clubs and civic groups. He was a former member of several fraternal and business organizations including the Elks, Rotary, the Chamber of Commerce, the Implement Dealers Association, and the Wilmington Park Board. In 1991, Mr. Dixon was honored by the Clinton County Fair Board for his help and support with implements, livestock, and the junior fair program.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Dixon is survived by four sons, Bret (Cherie) Dixon of Wilmington, Ohio, Brian (Lori) Dixon of High Point, North Carolina, Jeff (Cate) Dixon of Dayton, Ohio, and John (Debbie) Dixon of Dublin, Ohio; a sister, Bonnie Jenkins; eight grandchildren, Sara Dixon, Molly Dixon, Andrew Dixon, Joseph Dixon, Daniel Dixon, Michael Dixon, Jane Dixon, and Jill Dixon; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a brother, Jack Dixon, is preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 50 E. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Dean Feldmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Sugar Grove cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at the Wilmington United Methodist Church. MARY BEATRICE DAVIS
Mary Beatrice Davis, 68, of Blanchester, Ohio died 2:14 AM, Monday February 4, 2008 at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Her husband, William R. Davis, whom she married December 3, 1956, survives. Mrs. Davis was born February 13, 1939, in Sinking Springs, Ohio, daughter of the late Cecil Brown and Eva Estella Huffman Gustin. She attended Martinsville schools.
Mrs. Davis worked for 31 years for Senco Products in Cincinnati until her retirement in 2001. She was a member of the former New Vienna Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Davis is survived by two sons, Thomas R. Davis of Blanchester, Ohio and Randy W. (Mary Frances) Davis of Blanchester, Ohio; a brother, William D. (Garnet) Milburn of Conway, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Asher Lee (Devon) Davis, Ryan William Davis, and Kelli Lauren Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Kameron Asher Davis and Talan Michael Davis. In addition to her parents, a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Davis, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM, Friday, February 8, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Josh Dixon officiating. MARY MARTHA McCLELLAND
Mary Martha McClelland, 87, of 820 E. Center Street, Blanchester, Ohio (formerly of Wilmington) died 11:50 AM, Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at Continental Nursing Home, Blanchester, Ohio. Her husband, William "Mac" McClelland preceded her in death May 15, 1982. They were married February 6, 1942. Mrs. MeClelland was born August 4, 1920 in Harveysburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Effie Gray Thompson. She was a graduate of Clarksville High School. Mrs. McClelland was a member of the Wilmington Senior Center and loved going to Wal-Mart and the old Bob & Carl's.
She is survived by a son, Jack (Shirley) Clark of Springfield, Ohio; and her dear friends, Dick & Sue Caplinger and Stella Carter.
Funeral services will be 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio. Burial will be in Miami cemetery, Corwin, Ohio. Friends may call from 10:00 AM - 12:00 Noon, Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home.

HELEN M. McCLANAHAN
Helen M. McClanahan, of Blanchester, Ohio died 8:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at her residence. Her husband, George W. McClanahan, preceded her in death. They were married June 1951. She was a member of the Wilmington Church of God.
Mrs. McClanahan is survived by two sons, Terry (Charlene) McClanahan of Blanchester, Ohio and Jim McClanahan of Amelia, Ohio; two daughters, Darlene Flint of Blanchester, Ohio and Debra Beckett of Blanchester, Ohio; two brothers, Kenneth (Patricia) Ogden and Richard (Rose) Ogden; two sisters, Patricia Pevlor and Joyce Welch; 21 grandchildren, Carla Clouser, Bud Clouser, Steve Sandlin, Melody Irwin, Greg Sandlin, Mike Sandlin, Melissa Frank, Michelle Poe, Mark Sandlin, Bill McClanahan, Melissa McClanahan, Tonya Smith, Teri Cragwall, Steven Flint, Amanda Johnson, April Voline, Jimmy McClanahan, Justin McClanahan, Jaimie McClanahan Meenach, Brooke Malott, and Jessica Beckett; 27 great grandchildren; three daughters-in-law, Audrey Sandlin, Marilyn Sandlin, and Ruth Ann Sandlin; and a son-in-law, Roy C. Taylor.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. McClanahan was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Jean Ogden; two sons, Benjamin Sandlin and Donald Sandlin; a daughter, Joanne Taylor; four brothers, Berton Ogden, Earl Ogden, Ervin Ogden, and Carl Ogden; and three sisters, Norma Roberts, June White, and Virginia Ogden.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Wilmington Church of God, 100 R. Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Elizabeth J. Looney officiating. RANDY STORTZ
Randy Curtis Stortz, 60, of Wilmington, Ohio died from a stroke on Sunday, February 10, 2008 at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. His wife, Judith Ann Schaefer Stortz, whom he married July 4, 1971, survives. Mr. Stortz was born August 25, 1947 in Canton, Ohio, son of the late Robert and Ruth Stortz.
Mr. Stortz's professional career as an educator in Ohio and Wisconsin was visionary and accomplished in implementing strategies not yet common in school communities. For 35 years, he served as parent educator, teacher, vice-principal, and superintendent, committed to improving student learning. No stranger to the educational frontline, he was a popular presenter at local, state, and national conferences, respected for his humorous and challenging facilitation skills. He trained educators and community members in broad based strategic planning, rigorous curriculum, effective instruction, student assessment, curriculum driven budgeting, and the management of change.
Faithful to family, Randy created lasting memories with his witty storytelling, special events, and steadfast caring. He is remembered as an exceptionally loving husband, father, brother, son, and extraordinary grandfather. An ardent outdoorsman, Randy enjoyed the mountains of North Carolina, bird watching, wildlife, fishing, hunting, and caring for his grand dogs. All brought him great joy. He is greatly missed. He was passionate about family, friends, nature, mission, and student learning. He was a member of the Wilmington United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Stortz is survived by a son, Eric (Jennifer) of LaGrange, Illinois; a daughter, Tara (Jason) Looman of Independence, Kentucky; a brother, Rick (Evelyn) Stortz of North Canton, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Emily, Ian, and Emmett.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 50 E. Locust Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Dean Feldmeyer officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The National Audubon Society, Department W

ABRAHAM "ABE" KNAFF III
Abraham "Abe" Knaff III, 30, of Dayton, Ohio died 8:05 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Mr. Knaff was born November 3, 1977 in Wilmington, Ohio, son of Virginia Galloway of Huber Heights, Ohio and the late Abraham Knaff Jr. He was a graduate of Wayne High School in Huber Heights.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Knaff is survived by his stepfather, Mark Galloway of Huber Heights, Ohio; a brother, Bryan Knaff of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Jessica Knaff of Dayton, Ohio; his grandparents, Gilbert Robinson Jr. of Wilmington, Ohio and Zela Mae Knaff of Wilmington, Ohio; three nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many friends. In addition to his father, Mr. Knaff is preceded in death by his grandfather, Abraham Knaff Sr. and his grandmother, Joanna Robinson.

TERRI JAHN
Terri Jahn, 53, of Wilmington, Ohio died 8:30 AM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. Ms. Jahn was born December 27, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio, daughter of Darlene Mitchell of Delaware, Ohio and Roy A. Matthews of Seymour, Indiana. She was employed by Luxottica Retail and was a former member of ABATE.
In addition to her mother and father, Ms. Jahn is survived by her daughter, Stephanie L. Jahn and her fianc, Daniel Cockrell Jr. of Mt. Vernon, Ohio; her brother, Jeff Bryan of St. Charles, Missouri; her nephew, Dustin Bryan of St. Charles, Missouri; several cousins; and many friends.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio with Earl McGuffy officiating. MILDRED ROBINSON
Mildred Mae Burns Robinson, 67, of 232 Park Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385 (formerly of New Vienna, Ohio) went to be with her Lord and Savior at 11:55 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. Her husband, Lester L. Robinson, preceded her in death January 14, 1999. They were married November 10, 1962. Mrs. Robinson was born December 10, 1940 in Highland, Ohio, daughter of the late Edward Y. and Margaret L. Rockhold Burns.
In addition to being a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, Mrs. Robinson was a volunteer driver for Job and Family Services. She had also been a driver for Head Start, a cook for the Cherry bend Pheasant Farm and Quail Lakes Lodge, and a teacher's aide for Head Start and Lilliput Day Care in Midland. She attended the Church of God. Most importantly, though, she was a minister of the Gospel.
Mrs. Robinson is survived by six sons, Charles (Teresa) Burns of Fairborn, Tim (Cecile) Burns of Wilmington, Bill (Sandra) Burns of New Vienna, Dale (Veronica) Robinson of Gist Settlement, David (Sarah) Robinson of Gist Settlement, and Wendell (Carol) Robinson of Vandalia; a daughter, Martha (James) Robinson of Xenia, Ohio; two brothers, Bill Burns of Wilmington, Ohio and Darrel Hancock of Wilmington, Ohio; two sisters, Sarah Clark of Ridgeway and Geneva Burns of Hillsboro; 22 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; innumerable friends; and her dog, Bobby.
In addition to her husband and parents, two brothers, Donald Burns and Cecil Burns, a sister, Martha Ellen Burns, and two infant children are preceded in death.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 6, 2008 at the Wilmington Church of God, 100 R. Gordon Drive, Wilmington, Ohio with Rev. Elizabeth J. Looney officiating. GEORGE IVAN WOODDELL
George Ivan Wooddell, 93, of Blanchester, Ohio died 7:00 AM, Friday, March 7, 2008 at Continental Manor Nursing Home. His wife, Pauline Culberson Wooddell, preceded him in death March 25, 1990. They were married April 20, 1935. Mr. Wooddell was born December 8, 1914 in Marlinton, West Virginia, son of the late George Massie Wooddell and Marietta Derfield Wooddell. Mr. Wooddell retired from the Randall Company. He enjoyed woodworking and boating, and had served in the Ohio National Guard.
Mr. Wooddell is survived by a son, Roy W. (Carol) Wooddell of Blanchester, Ohio; a daughter, Janet (John) Buss of Newcomerstown, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Candy (Tim) Latham, Cindy Shingler, Chris (Dave) Tidrick, Charity (Ron) Canfield, Michael (Connie) Wooddell, Daren (Tamara) Wooddell, and Tamara (Jim) Frazier; thirteen great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. In addition to his wife and parents, a son, Robert G. Wooddell; four brothers, Dennis Wooddell, Emerson Wooddell, Ward Wooddell, and Ira Wooddell; and a sister, Goldie Russell are preceded in death.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Clinton County Memory Gardens with Tim Wallace officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post 49 Memorial Squad. Friends may call from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Monday, March 10, 2008 at the Reynolds-Smith Funeral Home, 327 N. South Street, Wilmington, Ohio.
