He has infused hundreds of weddings, class reunions, and parties with music, dancing, and laughter over the last 28 years. He served as one of the original organizers and MC of Airborne's company Christmas parties and picnics. He also helped create the Airborne annual golf tournament and for years hosted the golf tournament party in his back yard. Beyond his family, he loved music, dancing, his '67 Mercedes, and quiet after dinner walks with his dog, Cede, and any visiting grandchildren to watch for deer. Golf was a favorite hobby whenever the weather permitted, and sometimes when it didn't. He made many friends on the golf course and loved his time there. Dan was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. No matter how good or bad the season, he was always there to back them up. He, his sons, and a few special friends made the pilgrimage to Cleveland many times over the years. Dan was at home being the life of the party. His smile, voice, and amazing sense of humor touched many hearts and will be greatly missed.
