Catherine A. (Dorshimer) Osborn
(1906 - 2005)

ARCHBOLD - Catherine A. (Dorshimer) Osborn, 98, of Archbold, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold.
The daughter of Pearl (Ressler) and Daniel Dorshimer, she was born in Williams County on July 17, 1906. On Jan. 20, 1930, she married F. Lyle Osborn, and he preceded her in death in 1995. She was a member of the Archbold United Methodist Church.
Surviving is a daughter, Ruth Priest of Fort Wayne, Ind.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents; two daughters, Margie Lou and Jean Pearl Osborn; and a sister, Grace Ulrich.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Archbold United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Ken Bedell officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
Memorials may be made to the Archbold United Methodist Church or to Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home.

Jimmie C. Richard
(1932 - 2005)

Jimmie C. Richard, 72, of Bryan, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at the Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Born Nov. 13, 1932, to Pauline (Borders) and Everitt E. Richard, he married Mary Lou Cappelle on July 16, 1955, and she survives.
A U.S. Marine veteran of the Korean War, he had graduated from Bowling Green High School and Bowling Green State University with a degree in business administration.
He had worked as a supervisor for Spangler Candy Company and later Bryan Custom Plastics, from which he retired. He was a member of the YMCA and Riverside Golf Club in Stryker.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, David of Perrysburg; a daughter, Barbara Ford of Bowling Green; a brother, Donn of Fargo, N.D.; a sister, Jane Gerkens of Bowling Green; and five grandchildren, Andrea and Ashley Ford, Alexander, Jessica and Kaitlen Richard.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Dunn Funeral Home, 408 W. Wooster St., in Bowling Green.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. James Dykhuis to officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Cancer Society.

Pauline Helen Seeley
(1923 - 2005)

FAYETTE - Pauline H. Seeley, 81, of Fayette, died Friday, May 27, 2005, at her home.
She was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Whitehouse to Helen (Lambert) and Jerimiah Storrs. She married Frederick Kohli, and he preceded her in death on May 29, 1950. She then married Leo G. Seeley on March 27, 1953, in Angola, Ind., and he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1992.
Pauline retired from Morenci Rubber in 1986 after 36 years of service and had graduated from Fayette High School Class of 1941. She was past president of Fayette Senior Citizens.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Herman (Linda) Risner of Bryan and Mrs. William (Carol) Knepper of Camden, Mich.; one son, Gary (and wife, Gail) Seeley of Fayette; 10 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husbands, were her parents, two sisters, two brothers and one granddaughter, Teresa Cook.
Visitation will be Monday from 6-8 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home in Fayette.
Funeral services for Pauline Seeley will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Eagle Funeral Home with the Rev. Max Munk officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Gorham Fayette Fire and Rescue.

Earl I. Lirot
(1916- 2005)

Earl I. Lirot, 89, of Bryan, died early Friday morning, May 27, 2005. at his residence.
Born March 9, 1916, in Bryan, he was the son of Theresa (Stark) and Isadore John Lirot. On Oct. 12, 1940, he married Rose Mary Fetzer, and she survives.
Living most of his life in the Bryan community, he was retired from Aro Corporation, was a farmer and a beekeeper. He was also a founder and a builder of the Suburban Golf Course, located north of Bryan.
An active parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church, he was a participant in the Christening of St. Pat's new church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed winter retirement in Ft. Meade, Fla.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are children, Richard (and wife, Rose) Lirot of Burbank, Ill., Mrs. Larry (Nancy) English of Westerville, and Steven (Patti) Lirot of Bryan; grandchildren Scott (Teresa) Lirot, Ted (Pam) Lirot, Mrs. Paul (Clarissa) Rigg, Colby English, Nick (Darcy) English, Joseph Lirot, Nick Stuller and Scott Stuller; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Bob (Pauline) Bloom of Stryker; brothers, John Doyle of Edgerton, Roger of Bryan, Alfred of Delphos and Walter of Defiance; many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death was a grandson, Mark; brothers, Lavon and Donald, and sisters, Helen, Marie, Vivian, Charlotte and Mary.
Visitation will be Monday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 8:30 p.m. at Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Bryan, with Father Charles Ritter officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton.
Memorials may be made to the Community Hospital and Wellness Centers Hospice Program.

Kenneth E. Cole
(1920 - 2005)

WEST UNITY - Kenneth E. Cole, 85, of West Unity, died Thursday, May 26, 2005, in Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio-Bryan.
The son of Alta (Trumbell) and Perd Cole, he was born in Delta on Feb. 22, 1920. On Nov. 13, 1948, he married Margaret Ann Euler, and she survives in West Unity.
He attended the Fulton Local School in AI, and then finished and graduated from Manchester High School in Manchester, Mich. in 1938. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force during World War II, shortly before the attack on Pearl Harbor. He spent 29 months in the Pacific Theater, receiving the Purple Ribbon and the Bronze Star.
He was an active member of the West Unity United Methodist Church and at one time was a Sunday School teacher, Lay minister and past superintendent.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, Gary (and wife, Rebecca) Cole of Addison, Mich.; a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Patricia) Detwiler of Alvordton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harold (Dorothy) Black of Perrysburg; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Earl Lee Cole; a sister, Lue Ida Hill; and six brothers, Lawrence, Arthur, Earnest, Oliver, Russell and Robert Cole.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Hollingshead-Beck Funeral Home in West Unity.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the West Unity United Methodist Church, with Pastor Theron Diehle and Pastor Ruth Ann Scoby officiating. Burial with military rites given by the American Legion Post 669 of West Unity and the Fulton County Honor Guard, will be Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Dutch Ridge Cemetery in Delta.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Adrian Ray "Tater" Kinnison
(1925 - 2005)

BERRIEN SPRINGS, Mich. - Adrian Ray "Tater" Kinnison, 80, of Berrien Springs, died Thursday, May 19, 2005, at his residence.
Born April 14, 1925, at Yorkshire, to Osaa and Walter Kinnison, he married Barbara Jean Nichols on April 16, 1960, at Niagra Falls, Ontario, and she survives.
Moving to Edon in 1932, where he attended school, he was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy from June 1942 until December 1945 on the USS Saratoga C-V3.
As a 35-year active member of the American Legion, he also served as a past commander. After working on the St. Lawrence SeaWay project in New York and Pennsylvania, he worked several years as a welder on government projects in Maryland and Mississippi. He owned and operated Ray's Welding Shop in Berrien Springs since 1980.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Deborah Jean Woodrick and Charles Ray (and wife, Lyn) Kinnison of Berrien Springs, Mrs. Richard (Nancy Kay) Freeman of Roxie, Miss., Stephen Michael Kinnison of Prince Frederick, Md. and Cheryl Jean Amolsch of Coldwater; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Marion (Louise) Kinnison; and sisters, Emmadale Julien, Lelamae Newman, Mrs. Omer (Rachel) Keller, Mrs. Robert (Anna Lou) Carpenter and Mrs. LeRoy (Marilyn) Held. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers, John and James; a sister, Gracia Ellen; and two brothers-in-law, George Julien and Carleton Newman.
A Celebration of Life service was held on May 23 at the St. John's Lutheran Church, Baroda, Mich. Full military rites were conducted at the Ruggles Cemetery by the American Legion Post No. 345.
