MONTPELIER - Arlene D. Miller, 85, formerly of Montpelier, died early this morning, Oct. 3, 2005, at Harborside Healthcare in Bryan.
Arrangements are pending at Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.

Kathryn E. Wonders
(1920 - 2005)

STRYKER - Kathryn E. Wonders, 84, of Stryker, died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2005, at the home of her daughter.
Born in Defiance on Dec. 2, 1920, she was the daughter of D'Nell (Spangler) and Samuel Lehman. On Aug. 9, 1941, she married Richard J. Wonders, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 13, 2005. Prior to her retirement she had worked as a clerk for the former ASCS Office in Defiance. She was a member of the Evansport United Methodist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Gale (Nancy) Frank of Stryker; a son, William (and wife, Sandi) Wonders of Defiance; a brother, Donald Lehman of Defiance; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were her parents; a son, Jeffery Wonders; and a daughter, Kathy Jo Wonders.
Visitation will be today from 2-9 p.m. at the Grisier Funeral Home in Stryker.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the Evansport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Debbie Kaylor officiating. Interment will follow in the Evansport Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Inpatient Hospice of Defiance County or to the Evansport United Methodist Church.

Tara ReNee Stamm
(1980 - 2005)

ARCHBOLD- Tara ReNee Stamm, 25, of Archbold, died Friday afternoon, Sept. 30, 2005, from injuries received in a two-vehicle accident at State Route 795 at Glenwood Road in Perrysburg Township near Rossford.
The daughter of Kay (Burkholder) and Curtis Stamm, she was born Feb. 13, 1980, at Wauseon. She was planning to be married Oct. 15 to Ryan Smith of Hamler.
A 1998 graduate of Archbold High School, she graduated with an associate degree in applied science in the physical therapy assistant program, from Owens Community College in 2001. She was a physical therapy assistant at Harborside Healthcare near Bryan, and a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Archbold.
Surviving, in addition to her fiancˇ, are her parents, Kay and Curtis Stamm of Archbold; a sister, Mrs. Daniel (Stacy) Stoll of Norwalk; one niece; two nephews; and a stepgrandfather, Lavoyd "Bud" Ebersole of Fayette.
Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Stanley and Betty Burkholder and Franklin Stamm and Doris Stamm Ebersole; and a stepgrandfather, Myrle Burkholder.
Visitation will be today from 5-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-9 p.m. at the Short Funeral Home in Archbold.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ with the Rev. Erich Christman officiating. Interment will follow in Archbold Cemetery.

Donald P. Ruffer
(1914 - 2005)

ARCHBOLD - Donald P. Ruffer, 91, of Archbold, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in his home, after an extended illness.
Born in Archbold on May 3, 1914, he was the son of Grace (Curlett) and William Ruffer. On Feb. 23, 1935, he married Nettie Pace, and she preceded him in death in 2000.
Prior to his retirement in 1979, he had worked for Dinner Bell in Archbold for 25 years, and prior to that had worked at the former Archbold Ladder Company, the Oar Factory and LaChoy Food Products.
Surviving are a son, Larry Ruffer of Archbold; two grandsons; one great-grandson; a sister, Mrs. Jack (Joan) Wiley of Wapakoneta; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death, in addition to his wife, were his parents; a brother, William Ruffer Jr.; and five sisters, Adria Heise, Margaret Kramer, Mary Lauterback, Nettie Sands and Caroline Palmer. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donna Stutzman officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Board of MRDD or to the Fulton County Senior Center.

Timothy R. Hageman
(1958 - 2005

Timothy R. "Tim" Hageman, 47, of Bryan, died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, in the emergency room of Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers, Bryan.
Born Aug. 29, 1958, in Bryan, he was the son of Doris (Ball) and Lisle Hageman. He married Jo Ellen Rosendaul on Feb. 6, 1999, and she survives.
A graduate of Bryan High School, he had served in the U.S. Army, and was a meter technician for the Ohio Gas Company for 22 years.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, Jo, are a son, Jonathon Hageman of Bryan; three stepsons, Jason Stratton of Pioneer, Matthew Stratton and Travis Stratton, both of Bryan; his parents, Lisle and Doris Hageman of Pioneer; two sisters, Rachel Boone of New Jersey, and Deb (Rusty Brodbeck) Smith of Bryan; and a brother, Danny (and wife, Penny) Thompson of Defiance. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 860 W. Mulberry St., Bryan.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, in the funeral home, with Pastor Diane Schaffner officiating. Interment will follow in Fountain Grove Cemetery, Bryan.
Memorials may be given to the family.

Michael A. Kaiser
(1953 - 2005)

EDON - Michael A. Kaiser, 52, of Edon, died at 5:08 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne, Ind., where he had been a patient for the past three weeks.
Born on Jan. 2, 1953, in Fostoria, he was the son of Sherrie (Dean) and Maurice Kaiser.
A 1971 graduate of Edon High School and a 1975 graduate of Defiance College, he graduated in 1978 from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton.
He was trained to be a minister with the United Methodist Church and was a member of the Edon United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his parents, Maurice and Sherrie Kaiser of Edon; two brothers, Brian (and wife, Natalie) Kaiser of Fremont, Ind. and Steven Kaiser of Angola, Ind.; three sisters, Mrs. Joseph (Jennifer) Hays of Montpelier, Mrs. Thomas (Brenda) Avers of Archbold and Mrs. Michael (Annette) Peckham of Edon; five nieces and three nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3-8 p.m. ( Ohio Time) in the Krill Funeral Home 204 W. Indiana Street, Edon.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. ( Ohio time) Tuesday, in the Edon United Methodist Church, Edon, with Pastor Eric Dailey, officiating. Interment will follow in Edon Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to Edon United Methodist Church or Park View Nursing Center, Edgerton.

Susan Marie Miller
(1988 - 2005)

ARCHBOLD - Susan Marie Miller, 17, of Archbold, died Thursday, Sept. 29, 2005, at Medical University of Ohio in Toledo, as the result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident.
Born Jan. 21, 1988, in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of Joyce (Burkholder) and Mark Miller.
A senior at Archbold High School, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Stryker, the Junior Chorale Society, Archbold High School band and choir, FFA, 4-H, the Archbold High School varsity bowling team, Christ Community Church youth group in Ridgeville Corners, and the Awana program of both the First Baptist Church in Stryker and the Community Baptist Church of Newport, N.C.
She also volunteered at Centennial Stables and Therapeutic Riding Center.
Surviving are her parents, Joyce and Mark Miller of Archbold; a sister, Katie Miller of Archbold; a brother, Mike Miller of USMC Camp Giger, N.C.; and her grandparents, Glen and Rose Burkholder of Stryker and Ervin and Lois Miller of Archbold.
Friends may call at the Christ Community Church in Ridgeville Corners on Sunday from 2-9 p.m. Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the church with Pastor Dan Douglass, Pastor Mike Cole and Pastor Don Barnett officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery in Stryker.
Memorials may be given to Skyview Baptist Church, Centennial Stables Therapeutic Riding Center or to the Gideons International.
Grisier Funeral Home in Archbold is in charge of arrangements.
