Claudine M. Bostelman
(1920 - 2006)

DEFIANCE - Claudine M. Bostelman, 85, of Defiance, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at Harborside Healthcare Center, Defiance.
Born June 11, 1920, in Bryan, to Lucille (Easterly) and Orville Impton, she married Paul C. Bostelman on Aug. 10, 1946, and he preceded her in death on July 5, 2005.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, Bernie Bostelman and Craig Bostelman, both of Defiance; three grandchildren; and a sister, Erma Jean DeWitt of Shelbyville, Ind.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Pauline Coy; and two brothers, Eugene and Guy Impton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home, Defiance.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Donald Leckrone to officiate. Entombment will be in Riverview Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Defiance County.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church and/or to Caring Way Hospice Building Fund.

Orpha J. Wendt
(1918 - 2006)

ARCHBOLD - Orpha J. Wendt, 87, of Archbold, died Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 7, 2006, at Fairlawn Haven Nursing Home in Archbold, where she had resided since July 28, 2005.
Born April 7, 1918, near Archbold, to Ida (Vonier) and Andrew Fether, she married Vernon Wendt on Nov. 23, 1950, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2001.
A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she owned and operated a beauty shop in her home in Archbold. She volunteered as a Cherry Coat at the Fulton County Health Center in Wauseon and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at the corner of Ohio 6 and 66.
Surviving are her nieces, nephews and their families.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Andrew Fether. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3-9 p.m. in the Short Funeral Home, Archbold.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor Dale Kern to officiate. Interment will follow in the Pettisville Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to St. John Lutheran Church building fund.

Joan E. Mack
(1925 - 2006)

Joan E. Mack, 80, of Bryan, died Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2006, at her residence. Born Nov. 15, 1925, at Ney, to Carmin (Warner) and Clarence Garber, she married James Mack on Oct. 25, 1947, at the Marysdale Immaculate Conception Church and he preceded her in death in 1984.
A teller at the Ney Bank and State Bank & Trust in Defiance for over 40 years, she was a member of the St. Isadore Parish (formerly Marysdale Immaculate Conception Church) in Marysdale. She was also active in the Rosary Alter Society.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Ann) Lutz of Bryan; granddaughters, Mrs. Tracy (Tara) Grimes of Ayersville and Casey Lutz of Bryan; a great-granddaughter, Mya Grimes of Ayersville; and a sister, June Hoffman of Findlay.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and John Garber; and a sister, Jean Jackson.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Burr Funeral Home & Crematory of Bryan with a Scripture service to be held at 7:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the St. Isadore Parish, Marysdale, with Father Charles Ritter to officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Isadore Parish Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Macular Degeneration Research Fund, the Community Hospitals and Wellness Center Hospice program or an agency of the donor's choice.

George A. Goller

George A. Goller, 55, of Bryan, died Monday evening, Feb. 13, 2006, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
His survivors include his wife, Kathy Goller of Bryan.
Arrangements have been entrusted to and are pending with the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home in Bryan.

Linsi Elizabeth Light
(1986 - 2006)

MONTPELIER - Linsi Elizabeth Light, 19, of Montpelier, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, in Lima.
Born Aug. 3, 1986, in Montpelier, she was the daughter of Angela K. (Altaffer) and Kenneth R. Light. A 2005 graduate of Montpelier High School, she was a student at Ohio State University at the Lima campus.
While at Montpelier High School, she ran cross country and track, going to the cross country regionals her junior and senior years, and was also involved in the musicals and plays.
The 2005 Homecoming Queen, she was a member of S.A.D., past president of Student Council, and a two-year member of the National Honor Society.
Formerly employed at the Ramada Inn and C.K. Technologies in Montpelier and The Legends in Ottawa, she was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Montpelier and New Hope Community Church in Bryan.
Surviving are her father, Kenneth Light of Montpelier; her mother and stepfather, Angela and Lowell Eddie Miller of Pioneer; a brother, Kevin L. Light of Montpelier; a half brother, Nathan H. Dalton of Marion; paternal grandmother, Patsy Light of Montpelier; two aunts and one uncle.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home-Montpelier. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Paul's United Methodist Church, Montpelier, with Pastor Todd A. Mills and Pastor George M. Kreger to officiate. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier.
Memorials may be made to the Montpelier Athletic Boosters.

Marie A. Osborne
(1939 - 2006)

Marie A. Osborne, 66, of Bryan, died Monday morning, Feb. 13, 2006, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Born May 16, 1939, in St. Mary's she was the daughter of Adelene (Anderson) and Charles D. Osborne.
An assembler at Strydel in Stryker before her retirement, she was also a member of the Bryan Eagles Auxiliary and the Bryan Moose Auxiliary.
Surviving are two brothers, Donald (and wife, Shirley) Osborne of Sidney and Jack (Lois) Osborne of Portland, Ind.; four sisters, Virginia Reddicliffe of Kingwood, Texas, Mrs. Kevin (Melva) Stisser of Anderson, Ind., Billie Lou Englehart of Bryan and Mrs. Charles (Juanita) Doseck of St. Mary's; a sister-in-law, Ruth Ann Osborne of Bryan; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and a sister.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Oberlin-Ford Funeral Home, Bryan. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Rose Lewis to officiate. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. in Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Mary's.
Memorials may be made to H.E.L.P. in Bryan.

Joseph H. Bullock
(1943 - 2006)

MONTPELIER - Joseph H. Bullock, 63, of Montpelier, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2006, at his residence.
Born Jan. 29, 1943, in Battlecreek, Mich., he was the son of Dorothy Ruth (Moony) and Henry Joseph Bullock.
A graduate of Harborcreek High School, he had worked at Smith and Hamon in Battlecreek, Mich. for several years.
Surviving are a daughter, Brenda L. Bullock of Galesburg, Mich.; a granddaughter, Katy Leann Bullock of Wallbr, Texas ; and a sister, Mrs. David (Viva Jean) Nichols of Marshall, Mich.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Preston Wade Bullock; and a brother, Jerry Wade Bullock in 1992.
Arrangements are being handled by the Thompson Funeral Home. A memorial service is to be held in Michigan at a later time.
Memorials may be made to the family.
