Gladys Irene Wolff
TRUSSVILLE, Ala. - Gladys Irene Wolff, 83, of Trussville, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trussville.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Woodham of Bham; stepdaughters, Mrs. Ora (Betty) Stayner of Ohio and Mrs. Ira (Gloria) Nall of Texas ; a son, Hal C. Waldrop of Louisiana; stepsons, Joe (and wife, Deloris) Wolff of Ohio and Danny (Linda) Kneppler of Ohio; grandchildren, Tommy (Kristie) Waldrop and Terry Waldrop, both of Bham; a brother, Leroy (Susan) Barber of Trussville; other special grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ron and Judy Long.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, H. Carr Waldrop and Cardinall Wolff, and a brother, Raymond Barber.
Services were to be held today at 2 p.m. in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Gardens.
Agnes P. Singer

NEY - Agnes P. Singer, 93, of Ney, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at her residence, following an extended illness.
Born Sept. 12, 1912, at Defiance County, to Clara (Dietrich) and William Boff, she married Carl Singer on April 28, 1938, and he preceded her in death on March 13, 1979.
A homemaker, she was a member of St. Isidore's Parish at Marysdale, its Altar-Rosary Society, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Patna Mission, St. Agnes Associates and Hospice volunteer since 1988. Surviving are a son, Tony (and wife, Terri) Singer of Ney; seven daughters, Mrs. Don (Clara) Meyer of Defiance, Mrs. Ralph (Patricia) Timbrook of Hicksville, Mrs. Bob (Stella) Shininger of Defiance, Mrs. John Robert (Lois) Nagel of Defiance, Marilyn Oliver of Fort Wayne, Ind., Mrs. Jerry (Freda) Meyer of Ney and Mrs. Jim (Catherine) Snelling of Leo, Ind.; a daughter-in-law, Susan Singer Keesbury of Defiance; 40 grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 93 great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Alfreda Brenner of Defiance.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, William Singer; a son-in-law, Jack Oliver; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles and Donald Boff; sisters, Mary Coressel, Bertha Sponsler, Helen Houck and Rita Fockler.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., with a rosary to be held at 8 p.m., and Wednesday from 2-9 p.m., with a vigil service to be held at 8 p.m., in the Lawson & Roessner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the St. Isidore's Parish at Marysdale with Father Brian Shininger to officiate. Co-officiating is Father David Tscherne.
Memorials may be made to the church, Defiance County Hospice/The Caring Way or the donor's favorite charity.
Marian Joyce Tanner Lee

LARGO, Fla. - Marian Joyce Tanner Lee, 74, of Largo, Fla., died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, at Morton Plant Meese Hospital in Clearwater, Fla.
Born June 27, 1931, at Jewell, Defiance County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Mildred (Rentz) and Horace Tanner.
Moving to Largo, Pinellas County, Fla., in 1956 from Milwaukee, Wisc., she had attended Virginia Intermont College and was employed at Phelps Dodge Corp., Fort Wayne, Ind.
Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Richard S. Lee; a daughter, Brenda Lee; a son, David; grandson, Daniel; brother, Ned H. Tanner of Parkersburg, W. Va.; her twin sister, Marilyn Brower of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a sister-in-law, Betty Tanner of Oakwood, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Horace Lee Tanner, Joseph W. Tanner and Frank E. Tanner, all of Ohio.
Private interment will be at Pine Forest Cemetery at Mt. Dora, Fla. ALifeTribute Funeral Care is in charge of arrangements.
Mary B. Barnum

STRYKER - Mary B. Barnum, 70, of Stryker, died early Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Community Hospitals and Wellness Centers-Bryan.
Born April 13, 1935, at Bath, N.C., to Lucy Thomas Hollis and Willie Woolard, she married Cloice Barnum on Aug. 14, 1953, and he survives.
A member of the Stryker United Methodist Church, she had worked for Harborside Healthcare in Bryan prior to her retirement.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Mrs. Rod (Debra) Britenriker of West Unity, Mrs. Herman (Kate) Frank of Stryker and Mrs. Cliff (Karen) Vandemark of Hicksville; a son, David (and wife, Diane) Barnum of Stryker; nine grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lindsey Woolard and Frank (Shirley) Woolard, both of Washington, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Cottie Mae Woolard of Bellhaven, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two grandchildren, two brothers and a sister. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. in the Grisier Funeral Home, Stryker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Stryker United Methodist Church with the Rev. Melvin Peter to officiate. Interment will follow in the Stryker Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Stryker United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association.
Lucille Marie Zimmerman

MONTPELIER - Lucille Marie Zimmerman, 92, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 2006, at the home of her daughter in Pleasant Lake, Ind., where she had lived for the last several years.
Born Oct. 10, 1913, north of Pioneer, to Mattie (Keller) and Mervin E. Dick, she married John Zimmerman on Aug. 9, 1930, and he preceded her in death on July 7, 1992.
A homemaker, she owned and operated "Lucy's Shop," where she made artificial arrangements for all occasions.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Phillip (Patricia) Zabst; granddaughters, Kathy Heckathorne of Montpelier, Carol Balser of Angola, Ind. and Mrs. Billy (Janet) Fox of Edon; stepgrandchildren, Wendy Zabst, Mrs. Ray (Laurie) Jackson and Phil Zabst Jr.; eight great-grandchildren, Mrs. Brandon (Jamie) Bergman, Mrs. Luis (Jessie) Santiago, Mrs. Rigo (Jennie) Reyes, Dusty Gill, Danielle Gill, Adam Gill, John Lett and James Lett; six stepgreat-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Merve E. (Alice) Dick of Pioneer.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Thompson Funeral Home, Pioneer. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with E. Brian Carsten to officiate. Interment will be in Floral Grove Cemetery, Pioneer.

Dorotha May Huva
(1910 - 2006)
LINDEN, Mich. - Dorotha May Huva, 96, of Linden, Mich. and formerly of Wauseon, Ohio died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2006, at her home in Linden.
Born Jan. 16, 1910, at Wauseon, to Bertha (Geer) and John Van Pelt, she married William Huva on Oct. 28, 1928, and he preceded her in death.
A member of the Emmaus Lutheran Church in Wauseon, she was a lifelong homemaker.
Surviving is a daughter, Phyllis Louise Herman of Montpelier; a son, David Huva of Linden, Mich.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Violet Van Pelt of Wauseon and Elizabeth Bank of Maumee; and many nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were a son, Richard in 1932; a twin brother, Donald Van Pelt; and a brother, Harley Van Pelt.
Visitation will be held Sunday from 2-5 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the Edgar-Grisier Funeral Home in Wauseon.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Althoff to officiate. Interment will follow in the Wauseon Union Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, the Emmaus Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
Sterling Ford Rigelman
(1916 - 2006)
ALBION, Mich. - Sterling Ford Rigelman, 89, of Albion, Mich., died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2006, at Oaklawn Hospital in Marshall, Mich.
Born Sept. 25, 1916, at Northwest Twp., Williams County, Ohio, to Edna (Miller) and James Rigelman, he married Rosie Anne Burger on Nov. 17, 1943, at Northwest Twp., Williams County, Ohio, and she preceded him in death on Dec. 23, 1969.
He was a lathe operator and janitor for Simpson Industries, now Metaldyne, in Litchfield for many years. He had worked at many jobs around Northwest Twp., Albion and Marshall, including coal miner.
Surviving are his sister, Juanita June Smith of Fremont, Ind.; her six children, James Miller of Fremont, Ind., Richard Miller of Edon, Ohio, David Miller of Edon, Ohio, Dean Miller of Monroe, Wisc., Ruth Lewis of Tulsa, Okla. and Sue Rumsey of Angola, Ind.; eight great-nephews; seven great-nieces; and many great-great-nephews and nieces.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by two half brothers, Clarence Rigelman on Jan. 22, 1969 and David Jackman on March 19, 1966.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 23, at 2 p.m. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion, with the Rev. Bob Doner officiating. Interment was at Albion Memory Gardens, Albion, with his wife, Rosie.
