Herman C. Fee
(1919 - 2007)

PORLAND, Ind. - Herman C. Fee, 88, of Orland (Wall Lake) and formerly of Edgerton, Ohio, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 19, 2007, at Northern Lakes Healthcare Center, Angola, where he was a resident after an extended illness.
Born Nov. 4, 1919, at Butler, to Esther Mae (Riser) and Herman A. Fee, he married Goldie I. Deal on Dec. 25, 1938, at Butler, and she survives. This year they would have celebrated their 69th wedding anniversary.
Self-employed as a truck driver and car hauler, he had also owned and operated Fee's Truck Stop near Edgerton for seven years. He also worked as a mechanic with Maxton Motors in Butler for several years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Janet (and husband, Charles) Reamsnyder of West Unity, Ohio, and Irene (Larry) Teats of Montpelier, Ohio; a son, Herman (and wife, Marilyn) Fee Jr. of Montpelier; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Fee of Morenci, Mich., and Brooks Fee of Edgerton; and a sister, Gloria Oberlin of Pinellas, Fla.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, George and Bob Fee.
Visitation will be Friday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, Edgerton.
Services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor John Pool to officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Edgerton.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Earl McFeters

WAUSEON- Earl McFeters, 82, died Tuesday, at Hartland Nursing Home where he had been residing.
A veteran of World War II, he was the husband of Virginia (Klienhen) McFeters, the father of Neal and Kelly McFeters of Fort Wayne, Ind.; the stepfather of Robert, Donald, David and Richard Smith of Wauseon; Betty Russell of Lyons and Sally Roach of Delta.
A Memorial Service will be held at the American Legion Post 307, Pioneer Friday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to Hartland Hospice, Wauseon.

Barbara Clark

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Barbara Clark, 69, died Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.
A native of Toledo, she had been a nurse's aid with Community Hospital and Wellness Centers Hospice Program for 15 years.
She was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Fort Wayne, Ind. and a resident of the community for the past two years.
She is survived by her children, Mark (and wife Jane) Mansur of Anna, Texas, Julie (Dave) Navin, of Moodus, Conn., Brian (Debbi) Mansur, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., Amy (Erik) Herstad, Fort Wayne, Jason Mansur, Butler, Ind., and Grant (Tara) Mansur, Pioneer; 22 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Resurrection will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, 1502 E. Wallen Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to services.
Committal service will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Cemetery, 2224 Dorr St., Toledo. Preferred memorials are to the St. Vincent's DePaul Society, Fort Wayne, Ind.
Arrangements are by D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, Ind.

Denton "Denny" Hayward Hood
(1929 - 2007)

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - Denton "Denny" Hayward Hood, 64, of Rochester Hills, Mich., died Dec. 17, 2007.
He was married to Joan Cummins Hood for 41 years, and is the father of Jamie (and husband Virgil) Paez and James (and wife Karen) Hood; the grandfather of Anastasia, Isaac and Mason; and the brother of Ann Stull.
Hood is retired from General Motors and is a U.S. Army veteran.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007 at noon at the Brown Cemetery in Bryan.

Emery W. Welker Jr.

MONTPELIER - Emery W. Welker Jr. 84, of Montpelier, died Tuesday morning, Dec. 18, 2007, at Harborside Healthcare of Northwest Ohio, following a lengthy illness.
Born July 22, 1923, at Corunna, Ind., to Lola Sindle and Emery W. Welker Sr., he was a Montpelier resident most of his life and a graduate of Montpelier High School.
On July 17, 1981, he was married to Ruth (Christ) and she survives.
He retired in December 1991 as a Brakeman with Norfolk & Southern Railroad where he had been employed for 42 years.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Welker is survived by one son, David Welker, of Bloomington, Ill.; four daughters, Tamara Snow, Bryan; Christina Hill, Jennifer (and husband, Brian) Balser, of Pioneer, and Amber Welker, Paulding; three stepsons, Arnold (and wife Tanya) Virtue, Cincinnati, Wayne Virtue, Gallatin, Mo., and Glen A. (Phyllis) Virtue, Princeton, Mo.; three stepdaughters, Anna Grider, Montpelier, Karen R. Welker-Hayes, Montpelier and Evelyn (Doug) Stanfield, Smithville, Mo.; 22 grandchildren and 25 stepgrandchildren; and one sister, Mertie Merrill of California.
Preceding him in death were one son, Richard W. Welker in 1970; and one brother, Floyd Welker. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the WilsonÐGeesey Funeral Home in Montpelier.
Funeral services will be at 11a.m. Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor Don Harris officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Montpelier. Memorials may be made to the family.
