CECIL - Barbara J. Casto, 53, died at 10 a.m. EDT Sunday, April 13, 2003, in her home.
She was born July 10, 1949, in Wheeling, W.Va., the daughter of Francis I. and Theresa (Pomorski) McMahon, who survive in Wheeling. On July 15, 1967, she married John E. Casto, who survives.
Mrs. Castro was employed by Plastic Corp., Bryan, and Stokley Canning Plant, formerly of Paulding.

Brothers - Paul (Barbara) McMahon, Francis (Lynn) McMahon, Joseph McMahon and Jeffrey McMahon, all of Wheeling
Sisters -- Rita (Danny) Mullins of Hicksville and Diane (Greg) Hinerman of Roan Mountain, Tenn.
Seven grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas McMahon and Wilda Ridle and maternal grandparents, Anna and Walter Ponorski.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. EDT today at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, the Rev. Roy Nelson officiating. Burial will be at a later date.

Raymond E. Foust
Died: Sunday, April 13, 2003
Age: 61
DELPHOS - Raymond E. "Gene" Foust, 61, died at 11:14 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born July 16, 1941, in Lima, the son of the late Raymond L. and Amanda R. (Derrow) Foust. On Feb. 14, 1987, he married Janice A. "Jan" Foust, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Foust was employed by Accubuilt in Lima. He formerly worked for Superior Coaches and Sheller Globe.

Sons - Johnny Ray Foust and Dennis Dean (Elizabeth) Foust, both of Delphos
Daughters - Julia Lynn Craig of Delphos and Beth Ann (Eugene) Maag of Fort Jennings
Stepson - Jeremy (Elizabeth) Backus of 29 Palms, Calif.
Stepdaughters - Michelle "Shelly" Holland and Laura Backus, both of Lima
His grandchildren, Amanda (Derrick) Coil, Jessica Cooper, Brock Ellis, Cassandra Foust, Derek Foust, Crystal Keyton, Shana Rae Foust, Jon Holland, Mardus Backus, Shanin Holland, Kyle Holland, Angel Fea Foust, Joren Backus, Jarrett Backus, Destyne Backus, Zachary Foust and Alyssia Foust, also survive.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Dean Foust.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Harter & Son Memorial Chapel, Delphos, the Rev. Russ Thomson officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Alice M. Mayer
Died: Sunday, April 13, 2003
Age: 81
DELPHOS - Alice M. Mayer, 81, died at 8 a.m. Sunday, April 13, 2003, at her residence.
She was born Dec. 5, 1921, in Delphos, the daughter of the late Clarence and Edna (Feaster) Mox. On May 3, 1947, she married Norman E. Mayer, who preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 2002.
Mrs. Mayer worked for Graham Trailers.
Survivors include:
Son - David (Linda) Mayer of Elida
Daughter - Katherine (Steve) Brekhus of Florida
Sisters -- Helen Gorman and Norma Koenig
Four grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Mox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Peter Lutheran Church, the Rev. William Schultz officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Harter & Son Funeral Home, Delphos, and an hour prior to service time Thursday at the church.
Thomas M. Youngpeter
Died: Saturday, September 20, 2003
Age: 65
SPENCERVILLE — Thomas M. Youngpeter, 65, of Spencerville died at 10:37 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Roselawn Manor Nursing Home, Spencerville, from complications of a motor scooter accident on Aug. 19, east of Spencerville.
He was born Feb. 23, 1938, in Landeck, the son of the late Michael M. and Alvera E. (Trentman) Youngpeter. On Feb. 8, 1964, he married Shari K. Davies, who survives.
Mr. Youngpeter worked as a realtor for Oakridge Realty in Lima and owned Tom’s Auction Service in Spencerville. He had formerly worked as a finish carpenter and job foreman with the Stedke Construction Co. in Lima. Then he worked at General Dynamic’s Land Systems Tank Division in Lima where he retired as a supervisor with the millwrights. He served five years with the Ohio National Guard in Spencerville.

Six grandchildren, Jamie, Kurt and Matthew Westenkirchner of Toledo and Austin Schleeter, Cole and Spencer Youngpeter of Spencerville, also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck, the Rev. John Fleck officiating. Burial will follow in Spencerville Cemetery.
Calling hours are 6-9 p.m. today and 1-3 and 5-9 p.m. Tuesday at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home, Spencerville, where a parish wake service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday by Bishop Robert Donnelly.
Lucy M. Egger Partee
Died: Saturday, September 20, 2003
Age: 96
PAULDING — Lucy M. Egger Partee, 96, died at 4:30 p.m. (EDT) Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, at Convoy Care Center, Convoy.
She was born June 24, 1907, in Scott, the daughter of the late John and Susie (Gunderman) Jenkins. She married Wayne E. Egger, who preceded her in death in 1976. She later married Harold Partee, who preceded her in death in 1994.
Mrs. Partee was a homemaker and former schoolteacher. She was a member of Paulding United Methodist Church of Paulding and the Paulding County Hospital Benevolence Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Miriam (Keaton) Endsley of Van Wert and Kathryn Sinn of Paulding; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Helen Mumma of Haviland.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Helen Smith in 1998, two brothers, Roy and Forrest Jenkins, and a sister, Edythe Towe.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (EDT) Wednesday at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, the Rev. Jack Berry officiating. Burial will be in Blue Creek Cemetery, Haviland.
Calling hours are 4-7 p.m. (EDT) Tuesday and 8 a.m. (EDT) until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are Paulding United Methodist Church or the American Heart Association.
Roger Dale Hageman
Died: Friday, September 19, 2003
Age: 56
MIDDLE POINT — Roger Dale Hageman, 56, of Middle Point died at 11:19 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.
He was born Sept. 30, 1946, in Delphos, the son of the late Herbert J. and Lois L. (Tigner) Hageman. On May 15, 1971, he married Diane Kaye Adams, who survives in Middle Point.
Mr. Hageman is a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos and the Middle Point Fire and EMS Department. He had been the Middle Point town marshal for several years. Roger was a former member of the Middle Point Ballpark Association, the Lincolnview Athletic Club and Lincolnview Band Boosters and the Van Wert Moose Lodge. He had been a longtime member of the Delphos Eagles Aerie where he had served in several offices and had been a member of the Middle Point Lions Club where he had been a past president. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his brother, Michael Hageman; his mother-in-law, Marguerite Baker Adams of Middle Point; four sisters-in-law, Mary L. Adams of Fort Wayne, Ind., Myrna L. Bolenbaugh of Glenmore, Maxine L. Smith of St. Louis, Mo., and Dawn E. Adams of Van Wert; two brothers-in-law, Rex E. Adams of Delphos and Randy L. Adams of Lima; aunts and uncles, Jackie (Ralph) Lintermoot of Van Wert, Bill Hageman of California, Rita (Clarence) Hoersten of Fort Jennings and Mary Pastula of Pennsylvania and Kay Tigner of Lima; 15 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by a father-in-law, Ralph H. Adams; one sister-in-law, Marcia L. Gamble; a brother-in-law, Dean R. Adams, and two nieces.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. today at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Interment will follow at Ridge Cemetery, Middle Point.
Calling hours were 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Wednesday at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake service was held Wednesday evening.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Middle Point Fire Department or the Salvation Army.
Debra Ann Heck
Died: Friday, September 19, 2003
Age: 44
PAULDING — Debra Ann Heck, 44, died at 8:45 p.m. (EDT) Friday, Sept. 19, 2003, at Defiance Regional Medical Center, Defiance, where she had been a patient for two days.
She was born Oct. 29, 1958, in Paulding, the daughter of Norman E. and Marcella F. (Cotterman) Heck, who survive in Paulding.
Ms. Heck was a homemaker.

Sister — Cathy (Rob) Gross of Paulding
Many nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Rodger L. Heck, in 1953.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. (EDT) Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulding, the Rev. Dennis Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Hedges Cemetery, Jackson Township, Paulding County.
