Dorothy N. Wilson 11/12/2005
Dorothy N. Wilson, age 91, formerly of East Main Street in Cardington died Saturday morning Nov. 12, 2005 in the Morrow County Hospital. She was born Apr. 12, 1914 in Delaware to the late Robert O. and Hazel E. ( Moore ) Hensley.
Dorothy was a graduate of Delaware Hayes High School and retired from the United Telephone Company in 1974. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Telephone Pioneers, Morrow County Business and Professional Women, and a charter member of the Morrow County Horseman's Association.
On Jan. 6, 1934 in Galion, Dorothy married John Harold Wilson and he preceded her in death on Aug. 8, 1979.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Donald L. and Betty Wilson of Cardington, seven grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by a son John R. Wilson, a daughter Sondra S. Meadows, and a sister Florence Henry.
Charles Ronald Foltz 11/01/2005
Charles Ronald Foltz, age 74, of South Marion Street, Cardington, died Tuesday, November 1, 2005, at his residence. He was born June 22, 1931, in Morrow County to the late F. Jay and Enola (Ritter) Foltz.
Ronald was retired from HPM Corporation in Mt. Gilead. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Cardington, the Moose Lodge in Mount Gilead, and the Cardington Senior Citizens Club.
On March 20, 1954, in Richmond, IN he married the former Beverly Bunker and she survives in Cardington.
Additional survivors include 3 daughters and their spouses, Pamela and Ben Clinger of Cardington, Rhonda Wyatt and Phil Vaughan of Columbus and Kimberley and Steve Murphy of Columbus; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and sister-in-laws, Jay and Pat Foltz of Mansfield and Franklin and Geraldine Foltz of Cardington, 2 sisters, Shirley Norman of Galion and Nancy Cole of Mount Gilead.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by one brother, James Foltz and one sister, Janet Cole.
Friends may call Thursday, November 3, 2005, from 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:30PM. Pastor John Jackson will officiate and burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery.

Gary Skinner 11/01/2005
Gary Skinner, age 51, of County Road 11, Cardington died Tuesday afternoon, November 1, 2005 at his residence. He was born April 7, 1954, in Marion to Robert A. Skinner, Sr., who is deceased, and Janice (Bent) Skinner who survives in Marion
Gary had worked 21 years for the Morrow County Highway Department.
On April 9, 1976, in Mount Gilead, he married the former Phyllis Landes George and she survives in Cardington.
Additional survivors include a son, Tyson Skinner of Caledonia; a step-son Richard George of Galion, 2 granddaughters, and siblings, Robert Skinner, Jr. and Nancy Crace of Cardington, and Dale Skinner of Marion.

Billy Lanum, Sr. 10/27/2005
Billy Lanum, Sr. "Bill", age 70, of Fulton died early Thursday morning, October 27, 2005 at his residence. He was born May 29, 1933 in Mount Gilead, to the late Esper H. and Dottie R. (Perrin) Lanum.
Bill worked in Maintenance for 23 years at Perfection Cobey Manufacturing in Galion and for 12 years at Core Manufacturing in Mt. Gilead. He was a member of the Galion Masons for over 20 years and a member of the VFW Post # 8054 in Mount Gilead. Bill enjoyed trap shooting, fishing, hunting, and sporting clays.
On March 27, 1954 in Mount Gilead he married the former Sandra J. Mattingly and she survives in Fulton.
Other survivors include 12 children and their spouses, Christine and Richard Kepler of Richwood, Billy and Teresa Lanum, Jr. of Cardington, Rebecca Pendergast of Marion, Susan and Ken King of North Carolina, Kathleen Pipes of Galion, Diana and Randy Moore of Bonita Springs, FL, Esper and Tereasa Lanum of Marion, Laura and Mike Davis of Chesterville, Michael and Crystal Lanum of Chauncy, Juliet Virgilio and her fiancé, Ed Wilkes of Tampa, FL, Wayne and Susan Lanum of Mt Gilead, and Daniel and Tara Lanum of Crestline; 26 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jane Carpenter (Bill) of Mt. Gilead, 2 brothers, Robert and Ida Lanum of Clearwater, FL and Richard and June Lanum of Cardington and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Lanum.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by 2 brothers, John and Ronald Lanum and a grandson, David King.
Friends may call on Sunday, October 30, 2005 from 2-5:00PM at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington where funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31, 2005 at 1:00PM. Burial will be in Fulton Cemetery.

Ruby F. Keen 10/15/2005
Ruby F. Keen, age 82, of West Main Street, Cardington, died early Saturday morning October 15, 2005 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was born April 17, 1923 in Cardington to the late Raymond S. and Gladys (Fegley) Foust.
Ruby was retired from Fulfillment Corporation of America where she had worked 25 years as a file clerk. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
On August 15, 1942 in Russell, KY she married Roscoe Keen and he preceded her in death on November 3, 1979.
Survivors include a daughter, Rosemary Bortz of Ringling, OK; a son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Dayna Keen of Cardington; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law Chester and Joy Foust of Cardington, a brother, Lester Foust of Malta, OH, and a sister Lois Bortz of Cardington.
In addition to her parents and husband, Ruby was preceded in death by a son, Roscoe 'Danny' Keen, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Friends may call at Gompf Funeral Home in Cardington Monday, October 17, 2005 from 2-4:00 and 6-8:00PM where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:00PM. Pastor Laura Jaissle of Fairview United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will follow in Glendale Union Cemetery.
Eva A. McCarthy 10/08/2005
Eva A. McCarthy, age 83, of County Road 23, Cardington, OH died early Saturday, October 8, 2005 at her residence. She was born August 21, 1922 in Pennsylvania to the late Chan and Ida (Polk) Hackett.
Eva graduated High School in 1940 in Pennsylvania, she had worked as a retail sales clerk and was a member of the Catholic Church. Eva also was a member of the Moose Lodge in New York, the VFW in California and the Elks in the state of Delaware.
On November 21, 1941 in Elmira, NY she married Robert Stephen McCarthy and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include her children, Carol Walker of Ramona, CA, Bill McCarthy of Rialto, CA, and John McCarthy of TX; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, June Vanness of Elmira, NY and Jonie Sweeney of PA.
In addition to her parents and husband, Eva was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister.
