Virginia White Croxton, 93, Mt. Washington, died Friday.
She was past president of T. P. White Funeral Home, a teacher in Moscow and Locust Corner, Ohio, and a volunteer with Beech Acres. She also was a member of Ida Chapter 416 Order of the Eastern Star, Mt. Washington Presbyterian Church and the Anderson Township Historical Society.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday at T. P. White and Sons Funeral Home, Mt. Washington . Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Marian Penn Frommel, was college registrar
Marian Penn Frommel, a retired registrar with the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati, died Saturday. She was 82.
She also was a retired secretary with the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Board of Education and a member of St. Rose Church in the East End, the Sons and Daughters of Pioneer Rivermen, the Ohio River Launch Club, United States Power Squadron and the Cincinnati Propeller Club.
She leaves daughters, Donna Jean Hoffman of Ft. Thomas, Ky., and Deborah Jo Wildeboer of Southgate, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

Frederick Jones, honored as role model
Frederick Decoursey Jones Sr. spent his life working on cars, buying property and traveling the world with his wife.
He also became a role model for young black men and was honored in 1987 by the Cincinnati Chapter of the Friends of Amistad. He was awarded the honor of Multifaceted Black Role Model for All Seasons.
Mr. Jones, 79, of North Avondale, died Saturday.
He was a World War II veteran and learned auto mechanics while assigned to the Army Engineering Corps motor pool. He opened his own auto repair business when he returned home.
He was a trustee of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Walnut Hills.
Survivors are his wife, Lois; two sons, Frederick of Fairfield, and Harry of West Bloomfield, Mich.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Thursday at the church. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials: Southwest Ohio Chapter of the American Leukemia Society, or Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund. Leonard Weakley, prominent lawyer
Leonard A. Weakley, an attorney for 63 years with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister, died April 19 at his home in Mariemont. He was 89.
He was a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in 1933, the Kentucky Bar in 1934.
Mr. Weakley became an associate with Taft, Stettinius & Hollister in 1935, where he practiced in the tax, probate and estate planning department. He became a partner in 1950.
"He was a consummate lawyer, always a gentleman . . . with great accomplishments in his lifetime," said colleague J. Mack Swigert.
Mr. Weakley was the attorney for the Ohio River Sanitation Commission and was active with Hope House and served as president of the Juvenile Advisory Council. He served on the ethics committee of the Ohio State Bar Association.
The World War II veteran fought with the U.S. Army in the Battle of the Bulge under Gen. George Patton.
Mr. Weakley leaves sons, Leonard Jr. of Mariemont and William of Terrace Park; daughter, Caroline Rasner, of Philadelphia, and six grandchildren.
Arrangements were through Thomas-Justin Funeral Home, Kenwood.
