Jackson Reynolds Jr., of Golden Lamb
As manager of the historic Golden Lamb in Lebanon, Ohio, Jackson "Jack" Reynolds Jr. was a gracious, articulate man who deeply enjoyed the history of the state's oldest inn.
Mr. Reynolds, of Lebanon, died Saturday. He was 67.
He was vice president and general manager of the Golden Lamb from 1969 to 1995. In 1985 he received the Ivy Award, the highest honor for hotel personnel.
He was a member of several historical organizations and was a board member of the Warren County Historical Society.
He leaves his wife, Alexandra Reynolds; sons, Jackson B. Reynolds III of Columbus, and Bradley S. Reynolds of New York City; and a sister, Pat Worthington of Lewisburg, W.Va.
Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday at Lebanon Presbyterian Church. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in the church library. Arrangements: Oswald-Hoskins Funeral Home, Lebanon.

Sister Maurice Cahill, nursing supervisor
Sister Maurice Cahill, a Sister of Charity of Cincinnati, died Friday at Mother Margaret Hall, Delhi Township.
Sister Maurice, 80, would have celebrated 60 years in the order next month.
"Sister Maurice was a very dear friend and an excellent nurse," said Sister Catherine Anne Zeigler, a former nursing supervisor. "She was Irish to the core. The only time she ever asked to be away from her work was on St. Patrick's Day, when she would enjoy Irish celebrations."
The Chillicothe, Ohio, native spent her career as an obstetrics nursing supervisor, and worked at hospitals in Ohio, Colorado and Michigan. She returned to Cincinnati in 1962 and served for nearly three decades at the St. Joseph Infant Home, Sharonville.
She retired to the motherhouse in 1991 and volunteered in the clinic there until just a few months ago.
Sister Maurice leaves a sister, Catherine Mueller of Delhi Township, and several nieces and nephews. Mass and visitation were today.

Michael Reneman, 10: "Everybody loved him'
Michael Neil Reneman was a 10-year-old who loved the Chicago Bulls, went to church every Sunday and was very bright in school.
He lived in Norwood until two years ago when his family moved to LaFollette, Tenn., where he easily made new friends.
"He was a good little boy and well-liked," said Donna Long, a friend of Michael's and his family. "He didn't have a mean bone in his body."
Michael was killed last Thursday in an accident at his LaFollette home.
Michael had returned home after visiting a friend to find no one home and the doors locked. He opened a window to get in the house and the window fell on his neck, severing a major artery.
"He was a sweet thing," said Ms. Long. "He was well-mannered and very smart. Everybody loved him."
Services were Monday at the Martin Funeral Home in LaFollette and burial was at Woodlawn Cemetery in LaFollette.
"Michael was buried in his Chicago Bulls outfit," said Ms. Long.
Several hundred people, including about 20 from the Cincinnati area, attended Michael's visitation Sunday night.
Michael's mother, Gina, works at a Wal-Mart store in LaFollette and her co-workers collected hundreds of dollars for the family.
Other survivors include Michael's father, Michael Steven; brother, Kurt, and grandparents Steve and Connie Reneman of LaFollette and Patty Cole and Vernon Baker of Cincinnati.
