John R. Funke, retired business executive
John R. Funke, 56, of Town and Country, Mo., formerly of Erlanger, Ky., died Nov. 30 at his second residence in Mineola, Mo.
He was a retired vice president and chief financial officer for Jefferson Smurfit Corp., St. Louis, Mo., and worked 12 years for Hoerner Waldorf Corp., Middletown, Ohio.
Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Funke of Erlanger; his wife, Mary Ellen Ryan Funke; sons, John R. Joint service Saturday for Lincoln Heights couple
A joint service will be held Saturday for the Lincoln Heights couple killed in an apparent murder-suicide.
Rosalind Pollard-Braunskill, 34, and her husband, Anthony Jerome Braunskill, 30, were found dead at their home on Sunday.
Mr. Braunskill was a security guard for Protective Services. Mrs. Pollard-Braunskill was a manager for Winton Auto Sales.
Among survivors are their children and step-children, who include Mrs. Pollard-Braunskill's children, Darren Browder, Ronald Pollard and Kali Neeley; and Mr. Braunskill's children, Kayla and Keira Braunskill.
Mrs. Pollard-Braunskill is also survived by her mother, Alice Pollard; brothers, John Ruffin and Mitchell Pollard; sisters, Stephanie Pollard, Collette Lyles, and Cossette Pollard; and a grandmother, Marie Littles.
Mr. Braunskill is also survived by his mother, Rosie Braunskill; brothers, Arnold, Leonard, Wayne, Bruce, Ricky, Gerald, Dana, and Andre Braunskill; sisters, Sheryl Carson, Maryann Braunskill, Catherine Norwood, Ronell Braunskill, and Tondalaya Braunskill.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lincoln Heights Baptist Church, 9991 N. Wayne Ave., Lincoln Heights.
Visitation is at the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service. Thompson, Hall and Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Olga Bibza Adkins, dancer and former Miami professor
Olga Bibza Adkins, 90, dancer, musician and professor emerita of health and physical education at Miami University, Oxford, died Monday at Wheatland Nursing Center in Russell, Kan.
Mrs. Adkins, who taught at Miami for 22 years until her retirement in 1977, studied piano and dance in Czechoslovakia in the 1930s until Hitler's invasion of the country forced her return to the U.S.
She returned to become a choreographer and performer with the Pittsburgh Civic Ballet Co., and after additional study in New York, accepted a graduate assistantship at Mississippi State College for Women where she taught until going to Miami.
At Miami, she taught ballet, modern dance, folk and social dances and won national recognition for her expertise in exercise for senior citizens. She published a book "Get Moving: Exercises for Later in Life" and conducted an exercise segment on "Old Friends," a public TV magazine program aimed at seniors.
An accident which injured a leg forced her early retirement in 1977.
She was married to the late Arthur Adkins, an Englishman, whom she met in 1973 at Oxford.
She leaves four sisters: Ann B. Larys, of Prattsville, N.Y.; Millicent Skarzynski, of Elizabeth, Pa.; Irene Suzanne Bibza, and Margaret Rose Thouvenelle, both of Russell, Kan.
There will be no services. Burial will be in the Miami Uni versity section of Oxford Cemetery.

Thomas Roderick, Federal Reserve manager
Thomas J. Roderick, who spent 33 years working his way from mailroom clerk to bank manager at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cincinnati, died of a heart attack Friday. He was 63.
A lifelong resident of Fort Thomas, Ky., Mr. Roderick spent his work career at the Federal Reserve Bank and had been named manager of the bank's check collection department.
He suffered chest pains from a heart attack late Thursday and died Friday.
Family members recalled Mr. Roderick as someone who enjoyed a good laugh, had a keen interest in local sports teams and often watched sports with his three brothers: Lawrence, of Bellevue, Robert, of Fort Thomas, and Patrick, of Dayton, Ky.
'We were all close and liked to get together all the time,' said Robert Roderick, 57.
After joining the Federal Reserve Bank out of high school, Mr. Roderick quit for a time to serve in the U.S. Navy during the
Korean War. Although he did not see any combat, he was involved in a car accident that left him disabled. During his retirement, Mr. Roderick became a fixture at the swimming pool at the Campbell County YMCA. He often swam more than three hours a day.
Tony Roderick, the couple's oldest child who also went in to banking, said his father had a strong sense of determination for getting ahead in his profession.
Mr. Roderick was a member of Disabled American Veterans and Catholic Order of Foresters St. Stephen Court No. 1380. A son, Kenneth, preceded him in death.
Other survivors are his wife, Nancy; a daughter, Deborah Ballard of Louisville; sons, Thomas Roderick of Wilder and Vincent Roderick of Ft. Thomas; and three grandchildren.
A memorial mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Therese Church, Southgate. Muehlenkamp-Erschell Funeral Home, Ft. Thomas, is handling arrangements.
