 Jones Harry Lewis Jones, affectionately known as "Harry Boo Boo", age 85, passed away Saturday March 31, 2001 at his residence. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Susan; daughter, Theresa; grandchildren, Christopher and Christina; great-grandson, Christopher; and a host of friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2001 at 8 p.m. at C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Vurn Mullins, Officiant. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grant/Riverside Hospice in Harry's memory.

KEYS Harry J. Keys, M.D., of Hilliard, formerly a longtime resident of Upper Arlington, died Monday, April 2, 2001 at Kobacker House. He was a private practice obstetrician/gynecologist physician for 50 years retiring in 1990. He is survived by his wife, Betsy (Cushman) Moore Keys; daughter, Karen Denney; son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Melissa Keys; granddaughters, Samantha Denney and Megan Keys; great-grandchildren, Breanna and Breizon Denney, all of Columbus; step-sons, John (Teresa) Moore, Dublin and Mark (Robyn) Moore, Hilliard; step-daughter, Jackie (Chuck) Dana, Columbus; 10 step-grandchildren; nephews and niece, Alan (Pam) Clifford, Columbus, Marcia Randolph, Westerville, Harry Keys Clifford, Lafayette, Calif., Joseph M. Clifford, Columbus; compassionate friend, Whisper. He was the son of the late Harry J. and Ruth (Vogan) Keys and also preceded in death by his wife of 40 years Connie Wellington Keys, 1985, sister Mary E. Clifford and step-daughter Jill Higginbotham. Graduate of The Ohio State University, 1941, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. Dr. Keys served his internship at Kings County Hospital and his residency at St. Johns Hospital in New York. He was a veteran of WW II serving as a major in the U.S. Army stationed in England and France. Dr. Keys is a Fellow; American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; the American College of Surgeons and the Academy of Medicine of Franklin County and on staff at White Cross, Riverside, University and St. Ann's Hospitals. He was Professor Emeritus at The Ohio State University and a member of Ohio State Medical Association, Columbus OB/GYN Society and Alpha Omega Alpha. He was a 60 year member of Humboldt Lodge #476 F&AM; Scottish Rite and Aladdin Temple Shrine, Valley of Columbus. Dr. Keys was a charter member of Republican National Party and an active supporter of Crittenton House. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 5, 2001 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 East Broad St. The Rev. Mary  Johnson officiating. Private interment Green Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to further Alzheimer's research c/o Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221 in his memory. LINDSAY Bernard Lindsay, age 76, of Columbus, died Sunday, April 1, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Member of the Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, Volunteer at St. Ann's Hospital and a Doorman at Summit Chase Apartments. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Veteran U.S. Army, WW II and Korea, USAF in Vietnam. Survived by wife, Marie; daughter, Patricia Tilghman; son, Edward Lindsay of Philadelphia, Pa.; daughter, Brenda M. Hunt, Columbus; grandchildren, Marcy T. Lowe of Atlanta and Wm. L. Watts of Birmingham; 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday April 6, 2001 at The Church of Christ of the Apostolic Faith, 1200 Brentnell Ave. at 7 p.m., where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. LONG Darnell Long, age 39, Friday, March 30, 2001 at Riverside Hospital. He was employed with the O.S.U. Faculty Club before his illness. Preceded in death by his parents John and Velma Long, brother Michael Long, 2 aunts and 1 nephew. Survived by special friend, Ronald Huff; sisters, Sheryl (Wallace) Walker, Barbara Long, Gwendolyn (Albert III) Britford, Evelyn Burgess, Emma Gregg; brothers, Steven, Dwight, Ronald, Anthony, Wesley, John (Veronica) Long, Glen Burgess, Joseph Churchill; aunts, Audrey Payt, Joyce Rice, Willie Tate; host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral 12noon Friday, April 6, 2001 at the Chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Elon Meeks, Officiant. MADDY Lloyd Maddy Jr., age 70, of Columbus, died Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Veteran U.S. Army, serving during the Korean Conflict. Member of Asbury United Methodist Church South, Carpenters Local #200, American Legion Post #0164, V.F.W. Post #8794 and the Polar Bear alumni association of North High School. Lloyd is preceded in death by wife Caroll; parents Harriett and Lloyd Maddy Sr. and is survived by his sons, Matt (Barb) Maddy and Mike Maddy; grandson, Michael; granddaughters, Ashley and Cayla; niece, Kelly and family and very special friend, Karol and her family. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where services will be Saturday 10 a.m. Rev. David Lackrone officiating. MANGOLD Funeral service for Freda Marie Mangold, age 85, of Buckeye Lake, Oh., will be held at 8 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at the Kirkersville Chapel of HENDERSON, Van ATTA & JOHNSTON FUNERAL SERVICE with Rev. Dave Moody officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. in Glen Rest Memorial Estate on Friday, April 13, 2001. Mrs. Mangold, who was a member of the First Community Church of Buckeye Lake, died April 4, 2001 at Newark Healthcare Centre. She was born October 29, 1915 in Columbus, Oh. to the late Theodore and Tensye (Sivatneau) Uphold. Mrs. Mangold was a past president of the Ladies Guild, a member of the Ladies Bible Class at First Community Church, and also she and her husband were in the entertainment business in Columbus as the Eddie Mann Trio. Surviving are son, David Mangold, Toledo; daughter, Joyce Stanley, Pataskala; grandchildren, Garth Stanley, Derek Stanley and Jamie Stanley; great-grandchildren, Kayla Oppy and Kaytlyn Oppy; nephew, Ray Jo Mangold. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ed Mangold. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2001 at the funeral home, 285 East Main St., Kirkersville. MOELLER Iris Irene (Troyer) Moeller, 96, died peacefully on April 1, 2001, at her home in Kensington Place in Columbus. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Rev. Paul Moeller of Columbus; daughters and sons-in-law Joan (Richard) Deyoe of Olympia, Wa.; Mary (Michael) Benis of Columbus; sons and daughters-in-law Phil (Marcia) Moeller of Denver, Co.; Bob (Wanda) Moeller of Sharon, Ct.; grandchildren John Deyoe of Olympia, Wa.; Keith (Louise) Deyoe of North Bend, Wa.; Doug Moeller of Berkeley, Ca.; Jason Benis of Columbus; Alison Benis of Chicago, Il.; Adam, Nathan, and Brittany Moeller of Denver, Co.; and great-granddaughter Erin Deyoe of Vancouver, Wa. Iris was a graduate of Ohio State University, a former teacher, long-time student of nature, faithful servant of God, and a blessing to all who knew her. Private burial will be in Continental, Oh., followed by memorial services on Friday, April 6, at 1:30 p.m. at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 23019 Kellogg Rd., Grand Rapids, Oh., and on Saturday, April 7, at 10:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 211 N. Merkle, Columbus. The family will receive friends after the services. In lieu of flowers those who wish may contribute in her name to either Hosanna or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or to a charity of their choice.

McCANN Zelda Ruth McCann, of Hilliard, died April 2, 2001 in her home. Preceded in death by, and was the eldest daughter of Claude and Nancy (Clover) McCann of Hilliard. She retired from the Defense Construction Supply Center after 26 years of service. Member of Hilliard United Methodist Church where she was a bookkeeper for many years, National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Attended Ohio University. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Mueller of Indianapolis, Ind.; two nieces, Meredith Mueller-Leffel and Nancy Mueller-Olds of Zionsville, Ind.; 2 grand-nephews, Bo Leffel, Will Olds; 2 grand-nieces, Nancy Leffel and Katie Olds. Graveside service to be held 12noon Saturday at the Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto-Darby Executive Ct., Hilliard, OH 43026. PARISH Mary B. Parish, age 88, passed away Monday, April 2, 2001 at Mayfair Village, Columbus, Oh. Preceded in death by husband Ivan and great-granddaughter Alayna. Survived by daughter, Janet Marie (William) Logan; grandsons, Christopher (Elizabeth) and Timothy (Kristy) Logan; granddaughter-in-law, Marly Logan; great-grandchildren, Christopher and Faith. PERRY James R. Perry, January 25, 1933-April 3, 2001. Jim, age 68, is preceded in death by his father Kenneth W. Perry and mother Christine M. Herron. He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela, whose love endured for 23 years; his children, Cynthia (Craig) Dixon, Steven (Cynthia) Perry, Michelle (Doug) Hock, Colleen Perry (Dan Hill); step-children, John Wine, Kathi (Sean) Bias, Donald (Tonya) Wine, Debbie (Patrick) Liming. Proud grandfather to 17 grandchildren. Aunts, Margaret Perry and Dorothy Morgan. He was a member of the U.S. Navy 1950-1954. Past employee of Westinghouse and retired from the American Red Cross. Jim's passions in life were his wife, children, grandchildren, the ocean, bowling and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He coached youth league baseball through the Holly Hill Civic Assn. He enjoyed sharing his thoughts thru poetry and pencil drawings. A legacy of love though inspiration, devotion and words of wisdom he leaves to all who came to know him. Jim died peacefully at home with his wife and family. Funeral service 1 p.m. Friday, April 6, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, with Rev. Floyd Stolzenburg officiating. Interment at Obetz Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 3-7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Rickly Masonic Lodge #670 and Scottish Rite. Roger formerly coached little league football and baseball for Cedarwood Cardinals and Sills Ball Park. Preceded in death by parents Raymond and Mary Rodgers, son Ryan and nephew Michael. Survived by his faithful wife, Judy; son, Ritchie; granddaughters, Mahala and Shalom Rodgers; brother, Michael (Sally) Rodgers; sister, Donna (Bill) Tompkins; nieces and nephews.
