Survived by wife, Shirley; children, Michael (Pam) of Cincinnati, John (Mary) of Washington, Ind., Mary (John) Geary of Ashland, Ky., Kathleen (Tony) Edwards of Montgomery, Ind., Steve (Rita) of Olive Hill, Ky., Ken (Sharon) of Columbus, Karen (Rick) Diehl of Canal Winchester, Oh.; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Laura Carius; mother-in-law, Ethel Malone of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews. Friends received Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 South High Street. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Cathedral, 198 E. Broad St. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. Prayer service conducted by the Knights of Columbus, Sunday, 8 p.m.

COMBS Georgia Lee Combs joined the Heavenly Father April 3, 2001. She was born May 20, 1939 in Logan, W.Va. to George and Maggie Logan She was reared in Vinton, Oh. and graduated from North Gallia Local High School where she excelled at trumpet in the marching band. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church where she and her siblings were devoted to the music ministry. At the age of 18, she moved to Columbus, Oh. where she joined Trinity Baptist Church under the pastorate of Rev. E.A. Parham. At Trinity, Georgia served as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Dorcas Home and Foreign Mission Ministry, the Prayer Warriors, and the Women's and Mass Choirs. Georgia was dedicated to Trinity and devoted to Christ. Her faith strengthened and sustained her through many illnesses. In 1959, Georgia met and married Robert C. Combs, Sr. Georgia was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She attended the Columbus Technical College and worked for the Ohio Department of Health, retiring in 1991. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Joseph and Nathaniel, and sister Betty Yarborough. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Robert C. (Jennifer) Combs, Jr., Michael J. Combs, Frankie C. (Nathaniel) Young, Charles H. (Kimberly) Patrick, and Thaddeus O. Patrick. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; sisters, Mary Collins, Jessie Mae Davis, Emma (George) Spotts, Laura Logan, Brenda Logan; and brothers, George Logan Jr., Marion (Jewel) Logan, John (Florence) Logan, Scott (Cheryl) Logan, Wayne Logan; Otis Davis and sister-in-law, Frankie Carolina. Georgia had a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Special thanks to Rev. Victor Davis, pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, and Prompt Nursing Service. Service of memory Monday 12noon Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Ave. Rev. Victor Davis, officiating. Mrs. Combs will lie in state Monday at the church after 10 a.m., where the family will receive friends 11 a.m. until time of service. Interment Evergreen Burial Park. Arrangements entrusted to DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St.

CORBETT Joseph John Corbett, age 80, of Columbus, Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at his residence. U.S. Army veteran. Retired from General Motors Corp. Preceded in death by son Bill Corbett, granddaughter Caitlin Corbett. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Audrey; children, Dave (Linda) Corbett, John (Linda Jude) Corbett; daughter-in-law, Nene Corbett; grandchildren, Joe, Debbie, Amy, Cathy Corbett; great-granddaughter, Isabella; nieces and nephews. Friends may call Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MAEDER- QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St., where service will be held Saturday 10 a.m. Burial Glen Rest Cemetery.

COX Nancy J. Cox, 69, of Columbus, formerly of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 4, 2001 at her residence. She was born July 15, 1931 in Chillicothe to Jay W. and Gwendolyn Gatliff Cox. Surviving are her daughters, Portland Ingram and Joella Cox, both of Columbus; 6 grandchildren, Leon (Michelle), Jared, Janel and Mark Ingram and Brandon and Bryce Cox; 1 great-grandchild, Keren Adkins; sisters, Carolyn Cox, Columbus, Patricia McCall, Las Vegas, Cynthia Cox, E. Palo Alto, Calif. and Blossom Hughes, Palo Alto, Calif.; several nieces and nephews; a host of close relatives and a dear friend, Frances Woodard. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters Madeline Bates and Gloria Thomas, and a brother Jack Cox. Ms. Cox retired in 1990 from Kinnear Doors after 22 years of service. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME, 1661 Western Ave., Chillicothe, Oh. with Rev. Jonathan McReynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Chillicothe. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Haller's.

DORAN Michael Allen Doran, age 53, passed away Monday, April 2, 2001 at St. Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, N.Y. Preceded in death by his father Daniel J. Doran of Lancaster, Oh. Michael is survived by his mother, Mary Alyce Doran of Lancaster; brothers, Tim Doran (Mary Jo) of Dublin, Oh. and Pat Doran (Karen) of Pickerington, Oh.; sister, Sue Doran-Gamble (John Gamble) of Lancaster, Oh. Born in Columbus, Oh., Michael graduated from Lancaster High School and Ohio University and has been a resident of Woodstock, N.Y. for the past 17 years. For 16 years, Michael had a Private Consulting Firm and the past 17 years he has been the Corporate Secretary of the Karma Triyana Dharmachakra Buddist Monastery. An initiative of which Michael was most proud was his organization of the "FIRST LIGHT of the NEW MILLENIUM." Participating churches of all faiths throughout the world celebrated this initiative to encourage peace and harmony towards our fellow man in all the world. This celebration continues as an annual event in churches of many faiths throughout the world. A Memorial Service was held in Woodstock, N.Y. on Thursday.

DUPLER Angelina G. Connolly Dupler, age 72, Friday, Manor of Whitehall. Retired Matan, Geer & Wright Attorneys at Law for over 30 years. Member St. Catharine Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husbands Paul J. Connolly and Martin J. Dupler Jr. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Steven Hamm, Christine and Joseph Honeygosky; step-daughter, Jennifer (Norman) Cole; step-sons, Jeffrey (Karen) Dupler and Gard (Donna) Dupler; grandchildren, Carolyn Angelina Hamm, Anne and Sara Honeygosky, Megan and Joshua Cole, Lindsey and Diana Dupler, Bobbette (Tim) Carlisle, Randall (Amy) Dupler and Brandon (Carrie) Dupler; 2 great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Carol and E. DURBAN Ralph L. Durban, age 74, of Columbus, Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the residence. Retired from Refiners Transport. Member of Teamsters Local #413 and #284. Preceded in death by parents Jacob and Lacy Ann, wife Mary Martha, daughter Carol Ann, brother Ellis E., grandsons David R., Kevin J. and Chad Davies. Survived by daughters, Rosemary (Steve) Miller, Susan (Michael) Murray and Sandra Layton; grandsons, Devin and Travis Layton; brother, Howard J. Durban of Bridgeport, Tex.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. ENOS George Ray Enos, age 72, of Columbus, died on Thursday, April 5, 2001 at his residence. Retired as a Computer Analyst with the U.S. Department of Defense having served for 34 years including 2 years as a military Policeman. U.S. Army Veteran, WW II. He was Treasurer of the Ohio Historic Bridge Association for 26 years and a member of several other historical societies. Preceded in death by his parents Ray L. and Bernice M. Englehart Enos. Survived by his wife, Jerlean "Jeri" Enos; son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Hope Enos, Howardsville, Va.; granddaughters, Lora Enos (Michael) Duggan and Rebecca Enos (Kevin) Tucker; step-grandsons, Sterling, Tim and Mark Stewart and Scott Ives; step-sister, Mary Lou Doyle, Gahanna; step-brother, Allen (Elizabeth) Reeves, Midland, Mich.; great-grandchildren in the Columbus area, Darrin Dugger, Jason and Justin Duggan and  Taylor Rae Tucker. EVANS Elizabeth Viktorija Evans, 19 month old daughter of Daniel and Lisa Evans, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2001. She was preceded in death by great-grandfather Joe Hackworth. Survived by parents and sister,  Taylor Lustor; grandmother, Christina (Jerry Fuller) Chaffin; grandfather, Gene Chaffin; great-grandmother, Ethel Hackworth; aunts, Jeana (Jerome) Power and Sommer (Jordan) Howland; cousins, Mia, Kendra, Bobbie Jo, Crystal, Andy, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jessie, Michelle, Monica, Tina, John and Lyndsey. EVERITT Mary E. Everitt, age 99, Friday, Arlington Nursing Home, Newark. Preceded in death by husband Charles A. Everitt, daughter Lenore Young, 2 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and Daniel Cascioli, Doris and Bernard Haughn of Fla.; son, Maurice W. GOODEN Mable A. Brewer Gooden, age 50, April 2, 2001 at Kobacker House. She was employed by the Department of Human Services for 20 years. GRIFFIN William F. Griffin, age 75, of Columbus, Thursday, April 5, 2001 at home. Retired Publications Director with Rockwell International. Veteran U.S. Navy, Aviation Cadet, WW II. Preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Gladys and brothers Donald, Ray and George. Survived by his sisters, Myra (Walter) Colflesh, Columbus and Kathleen Shumway, Marysville, Oh.; many nieces and nephews. Member of the First Congregational Church and Columbus Museum of Art. He was an artist known for his jewelry designs. A Memorial Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at the First Congregational Church, 444 East Broad St., Columbus, Oh. 43215-3885. Rev. Timothy C. Ahrens officiating. Family will receive guests 1 hour prior to the service at church. A Memorial Service and burial will be held in May in Scituate, Mass. GUILFOYLE Edward J. Guilfoyle, M.D., died Saturday, March 31, 2001 in Columbus, Oh. Born September 8, 1913 in Edgemont, South Dakota. Graduated with a B.S. and M.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Interned at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. Veteran of U.S. Navy Medical Corps in WW II. Practiced medicine and surgery in Newcastle for 12 years, then completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Colorado. Founded partnership of South Denver Anesthesiologists in 1962 and practiced at Porter and Swedish Hospitals until 1983. Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ann Harrison Guilfoyle. Survived by his son, J. Martin Guilfoyle of Oakland, Calif.; his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jay Iams of Columbus, Oh.; sister, Eileen Damian of Salem, Oreg.; brother, William A. Guilfoyle of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Alex, Molly, and Sara Iams. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 2151 Dorset Rd., Upper Arlington, OH.
