Born of the late William and Mae Barger in Cadiz, Oh. January 12, 1915. Preceded in death by sister Nellie. Survived by wife, Wilma; children, Cindy (Bart) Nollenberger, and Bobbi Barger of Calif., and James (Colleen) Barger of Columbus, Oh.; grandchildren, Tiffany, Tyler, Dax and Nick Nollenberger; 3 step grandchildren; and 1 step great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. BARKER (DiPERNA) Nancy (DiPerna) Barker, age 73, Thursday in Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Columbus. Retired secretary for Verizon Communications. Preceded in death by parents Carmine and Pasqualina Costontino DiPerna, sisters Mary Rieno and Nicolina Troiano, brothers Anthony and James DiPerna. Survived by husband, Albert L. Barker of Las Vegas; sisters, Ann Milano of Columbus, Frances (Matthew) Ianiro, Fremont, Oh. and Rose (James) Henson of Sebring, Fla.; many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W. Fifth Ave. Prayer service 3:45 p.m. Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 720 Hamlet St. Fr. William A. Metzger, Celebrant. Burial Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

BAUER Rebecca Joanna Bauer, 74, of Circleville, died April 7, 2001 at Pickaway Manor. She was born July 4, 1926 in Scioto County the daughter of Harry and Marie (McCall) Lemaster. She was a clerk at North End Market, attended Circleville Nazarene Church, and was a former member of Ohio State Gideons Cabinet. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Helen Green. She is survived by her husband, Robert Bauer; daughter, Cinda (Mike) Reagan of Denver, Co.; grandchildren, Andy, Jessica and Tyler Reagan; brothers, James (Martha) Lemaster and Jack Lemaster both of Columbus; and sister, Judy (Harold) Billups of Athens. Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the WELLMAN FUNERAL HOME, Circleville with Rev. Foster Jenne and Pastor Ben Heskett officiating. Graveside service will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Memorial Burial Park, Wheelerburg, Oh. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International, Pickaway Co. Hospice, or Rocky Mountain Alzheimers Assn.

CAMINITI Special people cross our lives but only a few times. Almost like guardian Angels and Knights in shining armor. Vincent Caminiti, father, grandpa and best friend was the most special of all. He could light up a room with a smile and turn any problem into a laughable matter. I guess you can't blame God for wanting some of his beauty. He will be deeply missed, but everytime you think back on his memory a smile will cross your face because you know he is waiting for you in Heaven with a smile and a hug. - Nicki 4/6/01

CAMINITI Vincent "Jim" Caminiti, born January 12, 1919, passed on April 6, 2001. He was the son of Maria (Ciminello) and Dominic Caminiti who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Josephine, Sara DeNoble and Mary Jaconette; brothers Tony and Carl. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Evelyn (Campbell) Caminiti; daughter and son-in-law, MaryEv and Michael Fornadley; granddaughter, Nicole Fornadley; grandson Luke Fornadley; brothers, Luigi (May), Salvatore and Dominic Caminiti; sisters, Nina (Quetty) Same and JoAnn (Vincent) Pelino; uncle, Joe Ciminello; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was a U.S. Army WWII veteran, worked at North American Rockwell and attended St. John's and St. Pius Catholic Church and Southwest Vineyard Church. He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed. His family will receive friends Sunday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg. Vigil service Monday 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1051 South Waggoner Road, Reynoldsburg. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.

CARIUS Karl L. Carius, age 71, Wednesday, April 4, 2001 in Gainesville, Fla. Retired from CSX Railroad. Member of St. Joseph Cathedral, Reynoldsburg Senior Citizens, Moose Lodge #11, Golden Moose, Reynoldsburg Council Knights of Columbus #5253 4th Degree Father Huber #809. Former District Deputy of Knights of Columbus. Also member of Benedictine Oblade Saint Meinrad and Muskie Inc. Preceded in death by parents Karl and Alice Carius, daughter Genevie Carius, sons David and Jimmy Carius. Survived by wife, Shirley; children, Michael (Pam) of Cincinnati, John (Mary) of Washington, Ind., Mary (John) Geary of Ashland, Ky., Kathleen (Tony) Edwards of Montgomery, Ind., Steve (Rita) of Olive Hill, Ky., Ken (Sharon) of Columbus, Karen (Rick) Diehl of Canal Winchester, Oh.; 15 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; Laura Carius; mother-in-law, Ethel Malone of Cincinnati; nieces and nephews. DURBAN Ralph L. Durban, age 74, of Columbus, Thursday, April 5, 2001 at the residence. Retired from Refiners Transport. Member of Teamsters Local #413 and #284. Preceded in death by parents Jacob and Lacy Ann, wife Mary Martha, daughter Carol Ann, brother Ellis E., grandsons David R., Kevin J. and Chad Davies. Survived by daughters, Rosemary (Steve) Miller, Susan (Michael) Murray and Sandra Layton; grandsons, Devin and Travis Layton; brother, Howard J. Durban of Bridgeport, Tex.; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. ENOS George Ray Enos, age 72, of Columbus, died on Thursday, April 5, 2001 at his residence. Retired as a Computer Analyst with the U.S. Department of Defense having served for 34 years including 2 years as a military Policeman. U.S. Army Veteran, WW II. He was Treasurer of the Ohio Historic Bridge Association for 26 years and a member of several other historical societies. Preceded in death by his parents Ray L. and Bernice M. Englehart Enos. Survived by his wife, Jerlean "Jeri" Enos; son and daughter-in-law, Gary L. and Hope Enos, Howardsville, Va.; granddaughters, Lora Enos (Michael) Duggan and Rebecca Enos (Kevin) Tucker; step-grandsons, Sterling, Tim and Mark Stewart and Scott Ives; step-sister, Mary Lou Doyle, Gahanna; step-brother, Allen (Elizabeth) Reeves, Midland, Mich.; great-grandchildren in the Columbus area, Darrin Dugger, Jason and Justin Duggan and  Taylor Rae Tucker. EVANS Elizabeth Viktorija Evans, 19 month old daughter of Daniel and Lisa Evans, passed away Thursday, April 5, 2001. She was preceded in death by great-grandfather Joe Hackworth. Survived by parents, and sister,  Taylor Luster; brother, Christopher Evans; grandmother, Christina (Jerry Fuller) Chaffin; grandfather, Gene Chaffin; grandparents, Gladys (Chuck) Caudill, Dan (Judy) Evans; great-grandmother, Ethel Hackworth; aunts, Jeana (Jerome) Power and Sommer (Jordan) Howland; cousins, Mia, Kendra, Bobbie Jo, Crystal, Andy, Matthew, Elizabeth, Jessie, Michelle, Monica, Tina, John and Lyndsey. FALLON Thomas Leo Fallon, age 70, of Columbus, after a long illness. Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Leona Fallon, brothers Paul and Charles Lamie, sister-in-law, Betty Lamie. Survived by wife of 43 years Agnes Corkrean Fallon; son, Gregory (Lisa) Fallon; daughter, Judith (Bill) Maloney; grandchildren, Laura, Lindsey, Cody & Kelcey Fallon, Riley, Liam & Nolan Maloney; sister-in-law, Olive Lamie. Retired as area manager from Liberty Insurance Co. Graduate of East High School and attended Ohio State University. Member of St. Anthony Church. Served in U.S. Air Force as Airman First Class during Korean War. Tom most enjoyed visiting and joke telling with family and friends and playing golf. GEHRES Maxine Fay Gehres, age 97, of Dublin, died Monday, April 2, 2001 at Friendship Village of Dublin Healthcare Center. She was a retired business teacher at Cleveland John Hay High School for more than 40 years. She is survived by her niece, Jeanne Frantz, Fort Myers, FL.; nephews, Rodney Gould, San Diego, CA., Michael (Karen) Gould, Charlotte, NC. She was preceded in death by her sisters Gwendolyn Gould, Marie McFarland and Bonnie Gehres. Miss Gehres was a member of College Club of Cleveland, D.A.R., Presbyterian Church, Women's Civic Club and the Alpha Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma. Private graveside service Evergreen Cemetery, Waverly, Oh. A memorial service will be held 12noon Sunday, April 29 at the Convocation Room of Friendship Village of Dublin, 6000 Riverside Drive. Rev. GIESECK William "Bill" F. Gieseck, 84, of Pataskala died at Pataskala Oaks Care Center on Saturday, April 7, 2001. Born May 19, 1916 in Pataskala. Bill worked for State Auto Insurance Company for 48 years, was also a farmer and attended the Non-Denominational Christian Fellowship Church. Survived by his three children, Franklin (Betty) Gieseck of Pataskala, Ola (Bonner) Linn of Lancaster and Wanda (Garry)  Taylor of Pickerington; sister, Inez Gieseck of Ashland, Ky.; six grandchildren; one step grandchild; three great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife Wilda Marie Gieseck; parents Franklin P. and Ola B. Gieseck and two brothers. Friends may call at KAUBER-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Pataskala on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at 10 a.m. Interment Pataskala Cemetery. GUILFOYLE Edward J. Guilfoyle, M.D., died Saturday, March 31, 2001 in Columbus, Oh. Born September 8, 1913 in Edgemont, South Dakota. Graduated with a B.S. and M.D. from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Interned at Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. Veteran of U.S. Navy Medical Corps in WW II. Practiced medicine and surgery in Newcastle for 12 years, then completed a residency in anesthesiology at the University of Colorado. Founded partnership of South Denver Anesthesiologists in 1962 and practiced at Porter and Swedish Hospitals until 1983. Preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Ann Harrison Guilfoyle. Survived by his son, J. Martin Guilfoyle of Oakland, Calif.; his daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Jay Iams of Columbus, Oh.; sister, Eileen Damian of Salem, Oreg.; brother, William A. Guilfoyle of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and grandchildren, Andrew, Steven, Alex, Molly, and Sara Iams. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2001 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 2151 Dorset Rd., Upper Arlington, OH. HAY Betty K. Hay, age 75, of Dublin died Friday, April 6, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She was formerly employed by Beall, Rose and Associates. She was a member of Dublin Community Church, the Dublin Community Senior Center, and The Shamrockers. She was active with the I.B.E.W. Local #683 Retirees. She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene A. C. Hay, in 1991; parents Thomas and Lena Downey; sister, Thelma McDaniel; brother, Richard Downey. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Hay-Williams, of Dublin; sons, Thomas (Mary) Hay, of Tiffin, OH, and Stephen (Connie) Hay, of Springfield, OH; grandchildren, Alex (Millie), Dennis, Stephanie, Becky, and Katie Hay and Ian Williams; great grandson, Ryan Williams; sister, Norma (Al) Hogan; sister-in-law, Ginny (Jim) Seman; brother-in-law, Joseph (Olga) Hay; Special Friends, Jini Macleod and Evelyn Davis; many nieces, nephews, and friends.
