DONLEY Steven F. Donley, 51, Lancaster, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001. He was co-owner and founder of United Computer Services in Columbus. He is survived by daughter, Sarah Donley of the home; sons, Clint Donley and Kyle Donley, both of the home; mother, Ruth Donley; sister, Judy (Lowell) Karcher; brother, Jack (Lois) Donley; wife, Pam Donley, all of Lancaster; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Bill Donley; brothers Butch Donley and Rick Donley. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, Lancaster, with the Reverend Larry C. Brown officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place, burial at Floral Hills Memory Gardens will take place at a later time. Friends may call 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to Hospice of Fairfield County, 1111 E. Main St., Lancaster, OH 43130.

DOWLER Frederick A. Dowler, age 73, of Canal Winchester, Oh., and formerly of Grove City, Oh, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at home. Survived by his wife of nearly 42 years, Marjorie; daughters, Debra (Terry) Boggs, Jennifer Dowler, Kathy (Matthew) Kempf and Melanie (Robert) Triantis; grandsons, Christopher and Timothy Smith, Evan and Dylan Triantis. Family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. where funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. Dr. Carl Wiley, officiating. Interment Glen Rest Memorial Estate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Mount Carmel Hospice.

ECKFELD Justin William Eckfeld, 6, of Canal Winchester, passed away Monday, April 9, 2001 at his residence. He was a member of World Harvest Church. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Linda Eckfeld; 10 brothers; 5 sisters; 7 nephews; niece and grandparents. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at World Harvest Church Bible College, Harvest Hall, 10165 Wright Rd., Canal Winchester with Pastor William Canfield officiating. EVANSKY Eleanor "Elly" Ann Evansky, age 64, of Piketon, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 in Chillicothe. Born June 6, 1936 in Columbus. She was a loving wife and mother. Past president, Wayside Garden Club, Steubenville, Oh., received numerous awards at the fair. Member of Green Valley Estates Card Club, Steubenville, Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Department, Steubenville. Former owner of Millersport Dry Cleaners and Antiques. Preceded in death by parents Edward C. Derenburger and Opal Gwendolyn (Entler) Derenburger Lynch. Survived by husband, Harold J. Evansky Sr., whom she married June 5, 1954; daughters, Dianna Bing Evansky, Millersport, Ruda M. Evansky, Christina M. Evansky, both of Piketon; sons, Harold J. (Pamela L.) Evansky, Columbus, Steven D. (Cecilia) Evansky, Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren, Michelle L. Stone, Piketon, Nichole A. FELTY Patricia Jean Fitzgerald Felty, age 60, formerly of Columbus, died suddenly from complications of cancer on Monday, April 9, 2001 in Pennsylvania . Survived by daughters, Kathryn (Carl) Earls of Westerville, Katie (Ken) Lippincott of Delaware; grandchildren, Carl, Cody and Nathan; sister, Sandra (Bob) Westfall; brother, W. Michael (Susan) Fitzgerald; niece, Mollie Jean Fitzgerald; nephew, Michael Edward (Claire) Fitzgerald; great niece, Susan Abigail Larsen; also many other relatives and friends. An accomplished artist and poet, she possessed an inner beauty and a fine sense of humor. A 1959 graduate of Upper Arlington H.S. and attended DePauw University. Former owner of Globe Galleries, Inc. and for 13 years a graphic designer with Frontiers International in Pittsburgh, Pa. While living in Columbus she did volunteer work with the Pleasure Guild and Columbus Cancer Clinic. She was a former Worthington Hills Golf Champion. The family will recieve friends 6-9 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 North High Street (* mile South of I-270), where funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2001. Pastor David Redding presiding. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery. GARRITY A memorial service for Lola Catherine (McGhee) Garrity, 87, of Granville, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Garrity, who retired in 1980 as assistant to the president and secretary of the Board of Trustees at Denison University, died April 8, 2001 at the home of her son and daughter-in-law in Granville. She was born May 18, 1913 in Columbus to the late James Hudson and Catherine  Jones McGhee. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Philip James and Karen Browne Garrity of Apple Valley, Calif., David George Garrity and Eleanor Goodwin of Silver Spring, Md., and Donald Evan Garrity and Susan Hamann-Garrity of Granville; daughter and son-in-law, Anita Catherine and Michael W. Haslam of Chinley, England; seven grandchildren; and special caregivers provided through Interim Health Care and Hospice of Central Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years George Lane Garrity, who died May 4, 2000, and five brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to Meals on Wheels or to the Centenary United Methodist Church, both of 102 E. Broadway, Granville, OH 43023 or to Hospice of Central Ohio, 1984 Coffman Rd., Newark, OH 43055. The McPEEK FUNERAL HOME in Granville is in charge of arrangements.

GRAF David Graf, age 50, of Studio City, Calif., died Saturday, April 7, 2001 in Phoenix, Ariz. He was a member of the First Christian Church of North Hollywood and a 1968 graduate of Lancaster High School. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; his sons, Daniel Chapman Graf and Sean Thomas Graf; his mother and step-father, Angela B. and Dr. John G. Axline, Zanesville; his brother and sister-in-law, Philip and Carolyn Graf; nephew, Stephen (Nathalie) Graf; and niece, Kimberley (Robert) DeMain, all of Sarasota, Fla.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Pat MacDonald, Ridgefield, Conn. David was preceded in death by his father Dr. Paul F. Graf in 1968. Funeral Service will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the Maple Street United Methodist Church with Pastor Don Meadows officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery. HALL Lillian Huddy (Wilson) Hall, of Upper Arlington, passed away Monday April 9, 2001 at Kobacker House. She was born September 14, 1920 in Nelsonville, Oh., the daughter of James Parker and Margaret J. (Emish) Huddy. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Fred H. Hall, D.D.S.; daughter, Jacklyn (Mark) Zapert, Columbus; step-children, Linda Hall, Charlotte, NC, Nancy (Frank) Eilberg, Rocky River, OH, Steven (Cindy) Hall, Columbus; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Lucille Walker, Logan, OH.; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was a charter and life member of Pandorian Club, Nelsonville, Ohio. Lillian was a member of Northwest United Methodist Church and Twig #25, Children's Hospital, Columbus Women's Club, Columbus Dental Auxiliary, Tri-Village Lions Auxiliary and a former member of Columbus Damenchor and Swiss Club. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 at Northwest United Methodist Church, 5200 Riverside Drive, where friends may call after 12Noon Friday until time of service. Rev. HANLIN Marjorie Hanlin, 87, April 7, 2001, Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Preceded in death by parents Ellis (Elizabeth) Sands, husband Maurice Hanlin, son Stephen Hanlin, brothers George, Donald and John Sands. Survived by daughter, Debbie Hanlin; sisters, Sara Carr and Eleanor Massey; brothers, Cecil and Robert Sands; several nieces and nephews. HARPER Robert Paul "Squirt" Harper, age 79, Tuesday, at Grant Medical Center. Retired building contractor. Granduate of Hamilton Township High School, Class of 1940. Life member and past Commander of American Legion Post #144. Life member of VFW Post #3424, Veteran of WW II, Army-Air Corps. Member of Columbus Slow Pitch Softball Hall of Fame. Played for numerous Columbus Softball Teams. Played Baseball for Red Birds, Cardinals and professional Baseball for New York. Avid gardner, fisherman and golfer. Loving and dedicated "Papal". Preceded in death by parents Romie and Mary Bayliss Harper., brother Roy "Pete" Harper, first wife Eunice Snider Harper and second wife Helen Schull Harper. Survived by sisters, Ruth Edge of Pinellas Park, Fla., Irene Hardman of Logan, Oh., Imogene Shaffer of Pataskala, Oh.; children, Robert Jr. (Connie), Jimmie, Peggy Jo, Patsy (Ernie) Neff, Lawrence (Tina), Joyce (Jeffrey) Davis; 21 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. HOAGLAND Benjamin Franklin Hoagland III, D.D.S., went home to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Tuesday morning, April 10, 2001. He was born May 28, 1934 and was reborn again in November of 1961. He was a graduate of the Columbus Academy and the College of Dentistry at The Ohio State University. He practiced dentistry with his father and mother, Drs. Benjamin and Mary Hoagland for 16 years and with his son, Dr. Steven Hoagland for 15 years. He practiced anesthesiology at Union County Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Oh. for many years. He was a member of Grace Brethren Church of Powell, the Columbus Dental Society, the Athletic Club of Columbus, Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity and Rocky Fork Headly Hunt. He was past board member of Word of Life Fellowship in Schroon Lake, NY. He is survived by wife of 45 years, Kay Kelsik; son, Steven (Beckie); daughter, Susan (John) Harper; 5 grandchildren, Marielle and Benjamin Hoagland, Carolyn, Joe and Grace Harper; 2 sisters, Norma Jean Loving and Mary Jo Price. Memorial service at the new Grace Brethren Church of Powell, 7600 Liberty Road (just south of Home Road, phone # 740-881-6200), on Saturday, April 14 at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Dr. Hoagland is fondly remembered by his many friends as "Benjy." One of his favorite Bible verses was Romans I:16: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation, for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Gentile."

HOSKINS Grace Hoskins, 88, of New Plymouth, Oh., formerly of Nelsonville, Oh., passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at the Main Street Terrace Nursing Center, Lancaster, Oh. She was born February 11, 1913 in Vanleer, Ky. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Sarah Cox Boggs. She was the widow of the Paul Hoskins. Grace is survived by one son, Fred O. (Marlene) Hoskins of New Plymouth; one daughter, Donna R. (Neal) Ferebee of Canal Winchester; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mary (Ruel) Green of Stanbaugh, Ky. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 at the SOUERS-CARDARAS FUNERAL HOME, Nelsonville. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonville. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2001 at the funeral home.

HUSK Emma Jean Husk, 58, of Dresden, formerly of Summit Station, Wednesday, April 11, 2001. She had worked at Sanese Services in Columbus, then as tour guide at the Longaberger Co. Surviving are her husband, Huey E. Husk; two sons, Steven Husk of Warsaw, Jeffery Husk of Dresden; daughter, Ronda Smith of Dresden; two brothers, Larry Marvin (Phyllis) Sparks of Plain City, Herschel Lee Sparks of Grove City; sisters, Eula Mae (Jim) Williams of Urbana, Betty Ann (Bob) Dutton of Urbana, Alice Furn (Bob) Lindsey of Columbus; nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; uncle, G.V. (Maxine) Fairchild of Plain City; special niece, Betty Jean (Mike) Donahoe of Galloway. Friends may call 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 at the VENSIL & ORR FUNERAL HOME in Dresden. Father of five children, Pete Ireton of Columbus, Oh., Donald Ireton of Minn., Jeff Ireton of Sandy Hook, Ky., Loretta Harper of Columbus, Oh. and Agnes Newsome of Sandy Hook, Ky. JARVIS Lawrence Ray Jarvis, age 68, passed on to be with our Lord, Monday, April 9, 2001 at O.S.U. Hospital. Born May 27, 1932 to the late Orlo and Marie Jarvis. Preceded in death by brother William Gail Jarvis, grandson Nathanial Lawrence Stout and daughter-in-law Tracey Jarvis. Survived by his wife of 44 years, Carole Marlene Jarvis of Mt. Vernon; daughter and son-in-law, Tambra Lawrene and Michael Stout of Granville; son, Steven S. Jarvis and fiancé Twila Wheeler of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Rachel Stout, Ashley and Séance Jarvis; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Pete McConnell. Larry retired from Ohio Operating Engineers, Local Eighteen and Caretree Systems with combined 45 years of service. He served with the Navy during the Korean War. He was a kind man and a loving husband and father. The family wishes to thank the entire staff of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at O.S.U. for the care they gave.
