Survived by daughter, Kaye E. (Roger) Moore of Pleasonton, Calif.; sons, William L. (Kathleen) Smith of Reynoldsburg and Jerry D. (Diane) Smith of Dixon, Calif.; 7 grandchldren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, April 16, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 East Johnstown Road, Gahanna, Ohio, where the family will receive friends from 12 noon Monday until service. STACEY Richard Lloyd Stacey, age 65, of Johnstown, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital in Westerville. Preceded in death by parents Lloyd and Susan (Lewis) Stacey; 1 brother Donny. Attended Evangel Temple Assembly of God Church in Gahanna. Member Johnstown Eagles #1688. Retired systems analyst from P.E.R.S. Navy veteran. STORY Kitty M. Story, age 100, passed away, April 11, 2001 at Worthington Christian Village. She retired from Columbus Public Schools and a 60 year member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. Kitty and Clarence were very active in the Hilltop Community over the years. Preceded in death by husband Clarence B. and son Donald Story. Survived by daughter, Marilyn (Eric) Holt; grandchildren, Derek (Kathy) and Laura Brainard; great grandson, Matthew; niece, Jennifer Boutselis. SWARTZ Ann Elizabeth (Richards) Swartz, age 50, the strongest, most courageous person in the world, left to be with her beloved grandmother on Tuesday, April 10, 2001. She fought the good fight and was strong to the end. For those who knew her, she will always be remembered for her forthrightness, passion and love of the important things in life- people, simple pleasures, time spent with her best friend and soul mate. She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher Swartz; her son, John Haller; her mother, Lucy Richards; sisters, Kathryn Richards, Sarah (Bill) Koch; brother, John (Carol) Richards; niece, Christine Richards; nephews, John Adam Richards, Matthew and Andrew Koch; numerous cousins. Ann worked at Worldcom, was a successful, competitive rower with the Greater Columbus Rowing Association, with medals from the Canadian Henley to the U.S. Masters Nationals. She loved the ocean, the rocky coast of Maine, and lobster rolls. She laughed with her husband over silly things- the Three Stooges, Monty Python, and the Marx Brothers. She was a joy to all that knew her because she was honest, open, and unforgettable. She will be sorely missed every day. She and her husband, Chris, appreciated all the support, cards, flowers, etc. from family and friends during the past 3 years. TACKETT Valeria B. Tackett, 83, passed away Monday, April 9, 2001. She was a longtime member of the Barnetts Creek Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by husband Glen V., parents Furman and Shirley (Lambert) Blair, brother Turell Blair, sister Lena Caudill, grandson James K. Porter. She is survived by daughter, Frances (James) Porter; son, Gerald Tackett; granddaughter, Vickie (Paul) Combs; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Alice Brown, Addie Fraizer, Bobbie Jean Watkins; host of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where the funeral service will be Thursday April 12, 2001 at 11 a.m. Rev. TOUT Valerie J. Tout, 46, died suddenly while walking with her husband Larry, April 10, 2001. Valerie was known for her passion for boating and promoting fellowship and education for boaters. She devoted the past ten years to activities with the Columbus Power Squadron and was commander of the boating organization in 1996. Survived by husband, Larry; son, Jason; mother, Lorene; sisters, Cheryl, Sue, Cindy, and Lisa; many nieces and nephews. Memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W. TRENT Patricia M. Trent, 74, of Grove City, passed away Wed., April 11, 2001 in Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Preceded in death by husband Donald (1978). She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and retired from The Dept. of Taxation. Survived by son, Dave A. Trent; daughters, Janice (John) Young, Kathleen (Virgil) Hart; daughter-in-law, Joyce Trent; grandchildren, Patricia Curnutte, Christina Trent, Jonathan and Maria Young, Donald Hart; 4 great-grandchildren;and brother, John Conway. Friends may call Thursday 6-8 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where private service will be held Friday 10 a.m. Fr. John Swickard officiating. ULRY Doris Helen (Bevelhymer) Ulry, of Woodside Village, Columbus, Oh., April 10, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Hospital. She was born near Westerville on July 17, 1921 to the late Leon and Daisy (Brehm) Bevelhymer. She previously resided in Delaware, Oh., Hot Springs Village, AR, several other states as well as India. She worked in many capacities over the years: Beaty Realty Co., Canal Winchester, Oh., Teacher Placement Bureau at The Ohio State University, Hecht Department Store, Md., Registrars Office at Western Michigan University, Teachers Aid in Macomb, Ill. and while residing in New Delhi, India, she was a volunteer food distributor for Agency for International Development and Planned Parenthood. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Orval Lee; daughter, Diana and son-in-law, James Ivory; granddaughter, Victoria Leigh; sister, Marjorie Jean and brother-in-law, George Hunter; sisters-in-law, Marge Bevelhymer, Marguerite Ulry and LuAnna Ulry; many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by grandson Christopher James Ivory and brother Edwin Bevelhymer. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. WALL Carl Van Wall, age 50, Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at the Riverside Hospital. Preceded in death by his father Ernest Wall; grandparents Robert and Eunice Tillman, Aline Gainey. Survived by his mother, Shirley Dorsey; sister, Joyce (Timothy) Baxter; brothers, Warren (Felicia) Dorsey, Anthony Dorsey and William Tillman; step-sister, Corleener Comer of NC; uncles, Robert (Ann) Tillman and David Gainey of NC; nieces, Tori Ford and Michelle Smith; cousin, Phillip Porter; many other relatives and friends. WEEKLY Earl Eugene Weekly, Sr., age 83, of Lake Choctaw, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Arbors East. Retired in 1984 as a Building Inspector at The Ohio State University. Veteran U.S. Army in WW II, he participated in the Invasion of Normandy. He also served in the Rhineland, the Ardennes, Central Europe and Northern France. He was awarded the European and African Medals and the Middle Eastern Campaign Medal with 5 Bronze Stars. He attended Grace Lutheran Church and was a member of the West  Jefferson VFW Post #7005 and the Eagles Aerie #950 in London, Ohio. Preceded in death by sons George Kearns and Michael Keerns and a sister Leona Price. He is survived by Imogene Weekly; sons, Earl Weekly II and wife, Mary Weekly of Columbus, Joseph Kearns of Columbus; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary (Dennis) Nielsen of New Albany and Nancy (Frank) Duff of Columbus; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, and 1 great granddaughter; a nephew, Ronald Price of Reynoldsburg. WENTZ Sarah Magdalene King Wentz, age 94, died April 10, 2001 in Columbus, Oh. Born in Logansport, Indiana March 2, 1907. Mrs. Wentz was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Burke Wentz who died on October 16, 1992. Survivors include two sons, William A. (Cynthia) and Thomas K. (Nancy) Wentz; four grandchildren, Amy, Bradley, William and Pamela. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she had been a soprano soloist for the choir. Sarah Magdalene was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed playing the organ. She was also a member of MacDowell Club, Eastern Star, Trirosis, the Canton Woman's Club and for 25 years a volunteer gray lady at Mercy Medical Center Hospital. Funeral service celebrating her life will at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 in the chapel of Christ Presbyterian Church with Rev. C. David Morgan officiating. A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Chancel Choir Fund of Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, Ohio 44702.

WENTZEL Lelia L. Wentzel, age 88, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at Doctors West Hospital. Lelia was born April 14, 1912 on the day the Titanic sank. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by husband William C. Wentzel; parents David and Mabel (Powers) Richards; brothers Don, Lee and Bill Richards. Survived by children, Bill (Sally) Wentzel of Grove City, James (Mary) Wentzel of Colo., Bonnie (William) Huston of Calif.; grandchildren, Bryan, Brad, Brenda, Bill, Stephanie, Suzanne, and Jillian Wentzel, Vicki Edwards and Bill and Scott Huston; as well as 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at Grove City United Methodist Church, 2648 Columbus St., Grove City. Pastor Ken Kirk officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Church. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

WOOD Bonnie L. Wood, age 67, of Pickerington, died Tuesday at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Former computer programmer and owner and broker for Bar-Wood Real Estate. Member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her parents Charles L. and Mary M. Radcliff Wood; sisters Ernestine Kisor, Donna J. Wood, Dolores "Dee"  Johnson Wallace; brothers Ronald A. Wood, Charles K. Wood and Robert D. "Bobby" Spanable. Survived by cousin, Winnie (Harry) Phillips; nieces, nephews, other relatives and very special friend, Betty Sergio and the entire loving Sergio family as well as many other loving friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will be Friday, April 13, 2001 at 10 a.m. Rev. Fr. YOUNG Ernestine Faye Young, age 89, of Columbus and formerly of Portsmouth died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Mayfair Village. The eldest daughter of Ezra and Edna Lewis was born in Lawrence County on December 24, 1911. She graduated from Windsor High School in 1930 and married Clarence Young in 1934. Survived by four daughters and their husbands, Rachel and Robert Reinhard, Rena and Thom Brown of Columbus, Mabel June and Greg Malan of Lynchburg, Va,, Edith and Paul Tews of Houston, Tex.; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and sister, Betty Midkiff of Charleston, W. Va. She was a life-long member of the Church of Christ, and at the time of her death she was a member of the church at Fishinger and Kenny Roads. Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2001 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 North High Street, Columbus, where friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until service time. Greg Tidwell officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. With special thanks to the staff of Mayfair Village for their exceptional compassion to our parents. ABBATE Anthony J. Abbate, 78, of Reynoldsburg, passed Monday, April 9, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Served as a Staff Sergeant in the Army during WW II. Was president of the Subway Surface Supervisors Union of New York City. Survived by wife, Sandra; children, Mary Joyce Zambito and Ronald and Raymond Abbate; step-children, Richard, Kimberly and Kelli Cosgrove and Lisa LaChance; also 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday April 17, 2001, 10 a.m. at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 1061 W. Waggoner Rd., Reynoldsburg. Fr. Dan Ochs, Celebrant.
