WENTZ Sarah Magdalene King Wentz, age 94, died April 10, 2001 in Columbus, Oh. Born in Logansport, Indiana March 2, 1907. Mrs. Wentz was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Burke Wentz who died on October 16, 1992. Survivors include 2 sons, William A. (Cynthia) and Thomas K. (Nancy) Wentz; 4 grandchildren, Amy, Bradley, William and Pamela. She was a member of Christ Presbyterian Church where she had been a soprano soloist for the choir. Sarah Magdalene was an accomplished pianist and enjoyed playing the organ. She was also a member of MacDowell Club, Eastern Star, Trirosis, the Canton Woman's Club and for 25 years a volunteer gray lady at Mercy Medical Center Hospital. Funeral service celebrating her life will at 2 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2001 in the chapel of Christ Presbyterian Church, Canton, Oh. with Rev. C. David Morgan officiating. A private interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church following the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Chancel Choir Fund of Christ Presbyterian Church, 530 Tuscarawas St. W., Canton, Ohio 44702.

WENTZEL Lelia L. Wentzel, age 88, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at Doctors West Hospital. Lelia was born April 14, 1912 on the day the Titanic sank. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by many other family members and friends. Preceded in death by husband William C. Wentzel; parents David and Mabel (Powers) Richards; brothers Don, Lee and Bill Richards. Survived by children, Bill (Sally) Wentzel of Grove City, James (Mary) Wentzel of Colo., Bonnie (William) Huston of Calif.; grandchildren, Bryan, Brad, Brenda, Bill, Stephanie, Suzanne, and Jillian Wentzel, Vicki Edwards and Bill and Scott Huston; as well as 18 great-grandchildren. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Funeral Saturday 10 a.m. at Grove City United Methodist Church, 2648 Columbus St., Grove City. Pastor Ken Kirk officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Church. Cremation will follow the funeral service.

WILLIAMS Millard F. Williams, age 95, of Canal Winchester, Wednesday, April 11, 2001 at his residence. Born February 14, 1906 in Champaign County, Oh. to the late Lewis and Zora Williams. Retired from Davey Tree Co. and South Central Power. Member of Faith United Methodist Church and Canal Winchester Senior Citizens. Survived by children, Pam (Pete) Petersen, Orange, Calif., Lois Williams, Canal Winchester, David (Evelyn) Williams, Mt. Vernon; 8 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Charlotte in 1996, daughter Mary Potter in 1998, brothers Chester and Thurlow Wililams and sister Nellie Krouskop. Memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Faith United Methodist Church, Canal Winchester, with the Rev. Jon Cook officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Friends who wish may contribute to Mt. Carmel Hospice or Canal Winchester Senior Citizens in his memory. His request for donation to O.S.U. Anatomy Department was honored. Arrangements by DWAYNE R. ALDRIDGE Janet Lorraine Williams Aldridge, of 1739 Stemwood Drive, passed away Monday April 9, 2001 and went on to Heaven to be with her Heavenly Father. Janet, born December 31, 1961, resided in Columbus for the last 9 years. She was born in Middletown and grew up in Trenton, attending Edgewood schools. As an adult, she lived in Middletown, Red Bud, N.J. and Middletown again, before moving to Columbus. Recently, she was employed by Waller Financial in Columbus. She was active in many social and volunteer activities at Northwest Christian Church in Columbus, where she attended services, including the IHN, the Inter-Faith Hospitality Network, which provides services to the homeless. She was an active volunteer at Hilliard Horizon Elementary School, also. Janet is survived by her son, Jacob Jeffrey Aldridge of Columbus; her parents, James and Carmon Yvonne Williams of Trenton; her grandmother, Christye Williams of Bear Springs, Tenn. She also leaves 2 brothers, 1 sister, 3 nephews and 3 nieces: brother, Michael and Connie Williams and their children, Austin and Sarah of Trenton; sister, Jackie and David Rouse and their children, Angela and Christopher of Trenton; and brother, David of Middletown and his children, Tyler and Carley Williams of West Chester. The family held private services Thursday April 12 followed by burial at Butler County Memorial Park. A Memorial Service was held Saturday April 14 at Northwest Christian Church, 1340 Fishinger Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221.

BARNHILL Delores Jean Barnhill, age 50, Saturday, April 7, 2001. Loving wife and mother to husband, James Barnhill; children, Joseph Cavello, Melissa Wright and Jennifer Barnhill; also survived by grandchildren, Angelea Peters, Alena Peters and Johnny Wright; mother, Eulah Bailes. BEAL Alene M. Beal, age 75, of Groveport, Oh., died on Thursday, April 12, 2001 at Grant Medical Center. Retired as a homemaker, she served the war effort at the Curtis-Wright Aircraft Plant during WW II. Member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church in N.C. Preceded in death by her husband Lester W. Beal in 1988, her parents Oscar and Dove Endicott Farley. Survived by her children, Bob and wife, Judy Beal, Betty Darnell and Connie and husband, Ervin Andy; 7 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Clarence and Agnes Farley; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patsy and Jim Messer, Judy and Jim Bartram; relatives and friends. Funeral service 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 16, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. with Mrs. Beal's grandson, Pastor Bryan Andy officiating. CONNELL Ruth L. Connell, age 68, of Westerville, Thursday, April 12, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Retired Administrative Assistant for Franklin County M.R.D.D. Preceded in death by parents Roy and Fern Arweller, brother Paul Arweller and grandson Cory Grace. Survived by loving husband, G. Burt Connell; children, Linda (John) Adams of Houston, Tex., Burt (Sherry) Connell of Westerville, Teresa Connell of Westerville, Jenny (Brian) Breece of Mt. Vernon and James Connell of Westerville; grandchildren, Larry (Debbie), Debra, Burt, Joshua and Amanda; great-granddaughter, Carolyn; brother, Dean Arweller of Tex.; numerous nieces and nephews. COOPER Frank B. Cooper, 64, Sunbury, died Friday morning, April 13, 2001. Born in Manton, Ky. on October 23, 1936 to the late Henry T. and Artie (Moore) Cooper. Survived by wife, Mae (Bentley) Cooper; sons, David L. (Pam), Timothy and James (Stephanie); daughters, Daisy Cooper and Lisa (Mike) Meeks; 8 grandchildren. CROGNALE Stanley J. Crognale Sr., age 80, died Tuesday, April 10, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was a retired Car Inspector with the New York Central Railroad, a member of Saint Matthias Catholic Church and the Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church, A member of Amici D'Ori, and SFI Lodge where he served as an officer for 32 years. He was a World War II veteran of the Coast Guard. He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Levia Crognale. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Carol Crognale; daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Paul Emlich; grandchildren, Amy O'Connell, Lee Crognale and Michelle Emlich; great-grandchildren, Megan, Cori and Sammy Crognale and Heather Kirschenbauer; sisters, Terri Tocci, Janet Search and Rose Pivetta; brother, Art (Jane) Crognale, sisters-in-law, Mary Bernardo, Olga (Bill) Mathias, Norma Antonelli, Jo (John) Gallucci; brother-in-law; Geno (Ellen) Buzzelli; and many nieces and nephews. KYLE (ROWLAND) Child of God, Wife, Mother and Friend A. Jane (Rowland) Kyle, age 95, a longtime resident of Clintonville and most recently a resident of Wesley Glen, died Thursday, April 12, 2001 at Kobacker House, Hospice at Riverside. Born July 25, 1905 in Waverly, Oh. to the late Luther Elton and Nora Bandy Rowland. She is preceded in death by her husbands Carey S. Allen, 1956 and R. Henry Kyle, 1995, brother John Rowland, daughter-in-law Barbara Allen and grandson James L. Jones. She is survived by her son, Gene Elton Allen of Mesa, Ariz.; daughter, Phyllis J. (Bob)  Jones of Omaha, Neb.; step-children, Robert K. (Vicki) Kyle of Gahanna, Oh., Jero T. (Jane) Kyle of Chapel Hill, N.C. and Ruth E. (Gerhard) Maroscher of Circleville, Oh.; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Jane was a member of Crestview Presbyterian Church. Jane has brought together families and generations, making all experiences richer and has left countless memories with all of us. Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, Oh. 43085. Dr. Alan D. Wendt officiating. LAMP Miriam Ballmer Lamp, age 80, of Canal Winchester, Friday, April 13, 2001 at her home. A 1938 graduate of Canal Winchester High School, then Capital University in 1942. Miriam taught at Brice Elementary and was an active farm wife. A life long member of David's United Church of Christ in Canal Winchester, she was also a member of County Extension Temple Bells. She is survived by husband, Wilber of 54 years; sons, Tom (Barbara) and Jerry (Carol), both of Lancaster; grandchildren, Richard (Beth), Robert (Jodi), Tiffany, Jeffrey and Matthew; great-grandsons, Christopher and Coty; sister, Mildred Simpson of Guysville, Oh. She is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Amy Ballmer and brother Walter Ballmer. Friends may visit 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the DWAYNE R. SPENCE FUNERAL HOME, 650 W.
