BEALS Major Edward Roy Beals, Jr., USAF, 71, of Canal Winchester, died April 15, 2001. He is survived by his 8 children, Roxanna DiYanni, Ed Beals, Kim Giebel, Robbin Jacobson, Deanna Rowland, Cherie Beals, GiGi Pidcock and Katie Beals; and his 18 grandchildren. COLLETT Terena Jean Collett, 32, of Minford, passed away at University Hospital in Columbus, Monday, April 16, 2001 after an extended illness of Pseudotumor Cerebri complications. She was a former employee of DCSC Base Supply, a former resident of Groveport and Ashville, Oh., a 1986 graduate of Groveport High School, and was a member of Charity Baptist Church. She is survived by her devoted husband, Brian Michael Collett; daughter, Devany Jean Collett; mother, Dolores Trimble of Portsmouth; brother, Dennis (Sandra) Trimble; nephew and niece, Kyle and Heather; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. McKinley Collett; sister-in-law, Andrea of Reynoldsburg; brother-in-law, David (Regina) Collett and family of Denver, Ky.; and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Walter R. Trimble and her grandparents Rev. and Mrs. Thomas Colegrove of Stockdale. Service will be held Thursday April 19, 2001, 11 a.m. at ERWIN-DODSON-ALLEN FUNERAL HOME, Minford with Rev. Gary Dheel and Rev. Bud Mefford officiating. Burial will be in Salisbury Cemetery. DENBOW Anne C. Denbow, 81, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Parma Hospital. A veteran of WW II having served as a nurse. A lifetime member of Bethesda Hospital, where she received her nurses training. A member of OES Corinthian Chapter #393. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Keith) Kern, Elizabeth DeMichael and her fiancÈ, Rick Zab; grandchildren, Kevin, Mark, Troy and Benjamin; great-grandson, Blake; sister, Kay Boyle; brother, Martin Cech. She is preceded in death by her husband Edward Denbow and brother John Chek. DEYO Mildred M. Deyo, 82, of Mt. Sterling, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2001 in Mt. Carmel West. She was born October 9, 1918 in Mt. Sterling, Oh., the daughter of the late Scott Augustas and Ella (Self) Truitt. She was retired from Credit Bureau of Columbus. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Margie Deyo and nephew, Billy (Louise) Truitt, all of Mt. Sterling; along with numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-great-nieces and nephews. George; sons and daughters-in-law, Ralph (Marti) George, Pleasantville, Mike (Judie) George, Pickerington, Tom (Debbie) George, Lancaster, Phil (Brenda) George, Pleasantville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren. G. Michael Gribble officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday at 10 a.m., St. Joseph Cemetery, Newark, Oh. Mrs. Gribble died at Licking Memorial Hospital on Saturday, April 14, 2001. She was born in Bellaire, Oh. on December 31, 1917 to the late John J. and Susie (Mitchell) Kane. Catherine was retired from Newark Hospital and Licking Memorial Hospital, where she was an accounts payable clerk. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the American Legion Post #85 Auxiliary, member and past president of the Business and Professional Women's Club, the P.I.M.E. Guilds, and a board member of the Licking County Unit of the American Heart Association. She is survived by 1 son, Rev. G. Michael Gribble of Columbus; 2 daughters, Susie K. Gribble of Newark and Rose M. Gribble of Columbus; 2 brothers and 3 sisters-in-law, William K. Kane of Delaware, Robert E. and Shirley Kane, Mary Ann Kane and Mary LeFever, all of Newark; and many nieces and nephews. Catherine was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years George W. Member and past President Central District Basketball Officials Association for 28 years. Member for 20 years of Ohio State Basketball Officials Association and Central District Football Officials Association. U.S. Air Force Veteran, WW II, 8th Air Force. Presbyterian by faith. HARTSOOK Ruth Agusta Hartsook, June 27, 1903 - March 29, 2001. A Celebration of Life for Ruth Hartsook, 97, will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2001 at The Old Trinity Evangelical Church, Columbus, Oh. with Pastor George Wright officiating. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Hartsook a life long member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, died March 29, 2001 at Arlington Nursing Home, Newark, Oh. Ruth was the oldest member of the church and also belonged to the Rachel Circle as well as serving our Lord in many other capacities. Mrs. Hartsook graduated from Columbus High School and The Columbus College of Commerce. Retired Secretary from The Ohio Farm Bureau Insurance Company after 46 years of service. Mrs. Hartsook was born June 27, 1903 in Franklin County, Oh. to the late Karl and Emilie Augusta (Henning) Nast. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Leonard Hartsook, May 13, 1977, brother Rolland Nast, sisters Alma Hahn, Mildred Nast, Wilma Reiter and Edna Jahn, all of the Columbus area. Ruth is survived by 2 sisters, Flora Lauterbach, Newark, Oh. and Verna Born, Columbus, Oh.; Godchild, Robert Lauterbach, Pataskala, Oh.; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. HEISE Robert E. Heise, age 81, of Columbus, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in the Pacific during WW II. He retired from the City of Columbus. Preceded in death by his parents Earl and Lilly Heise, brothers Nelson and Jim Heise and sister Anna Simonds. Survived by his wife of nearly 55 years, Jacqueline Heise; daughters, Earlene, Arlene and Jeneanne Heise; grandchildren, Kimberly (Dan) Sparks, Tim  Johnson and Howard Heise; great-grandchildren, Brandy, Justin and Jordan Sparks; sister, Edna Robinson. KENNEDY Jack K. Kennedy, 76, of Columbus, died Monday, April 16, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital after a courageous battle for life. He retired from The Ohio State University Electric Department after 30 years of service. Preceded in death by father Daniel and mother Mary Rodgers Kennedy, brothers Daniel, Robert and sister Frances Dunlap, granddaugher Breanne Amber Kennedy. Survived by his wife of 53 years, Imogene Robson; children, Kenneth (Karen), Sandra (Harry) Lyons, Rick (Kay), Frances (David) Kennedy-Cornelius, Jacqueline (Edward) Brofford; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was a member of Neoacacia Lodge #595 F&AM, York Temple Council #115 R&SM, Columbus Commandery #69 Knights Templar Lodge Council Chapter Consistory A.A.S.R., Valley of Columbus, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Linden Shrine Club, Achbar Grotto of Columbus, Franklin County Memorial Lodge F&AM, and Registrar Unit of Aladdin Temple. KOHR Thomas Parker Kohr, age 82, of Upper Arlington, a Columbus Realtor since 1946, passed away April 12, 2001 at St. Vincent Hospital in Toledo, Ohio after a brief illness. He was a member of Riverside Methodist Church, Columbus Rotary, and the Columbus Board of Realtors. He was preceded in death by his son, Paul Theodore Kohr II. Thomas is survived by his wife, Alice; daughters, Ann Zerbst, and Janet McKenzie; son, Michael Kohr; brother, Paul Theodore and his wife, Martha Kohr; grandchildren, Sarah Zerbst, Aaron Zerbst, Will Kohr and Patrick Kohr. A memorial service will be held Friday, April 20, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. at Riverside Methodist Church, 2701 Zollinger Rd. Reverend David Griebner officiating. MASON Mildred Mason, age 97, of Dublin, Oh., formerly of Leesburg, died Monday afternoon, April 16, 2001 at the Friendship Village Health Center in Dublin. She was born May 16, 1903 in Leesburg, Oh., the daughter of W.H. and Ida (McCoppin) Mason. She was a member of the Leesburg United Methodist Church. A graduate of Leesburg High School and received her degree in accounting from Bliss College. She had worked for several businesses retiring from Town and Village Insurance Co. in Upper Arlington. Two nieces, Evelyn Ockerman Johnston of South Charleston, Oh., Sally Mason Garman of Stow, Oh.; 1 nephew, William H. Mason of Altus, Okla., survive her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 sister Rosetta Ockerman and brother William "Bill" Mason.
