MORRISON Mary F. Morrison, age 81, of Worthington, died Monday, April 16, 2001 at Forum at Knightsbridge. Mary is survived by her husband of 48 years, George Morrison; children, Scott (Susan) Ross of Hilliard, Libby Williams of Worthington, and George (Pam) Morrison Jr. of Pine, Colo.; grandchildren, Darcie Ross of Dublin, Heather Williams of Worthington, Nicole Oudenhoven of Lakewood, Colo., Carley Morrison and Dustin Morrison, both of Pine, Colo.; brother, Bill Maurer of Ravenna, Oh.; and nieces, nephews and many friends. Mary was a member of Worthington Presbyterian Church, Worthington Historical Society and Worthington Women's Club. An avid golfer, she played at various area courses with the "Whiffers" for many years. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 515 High St., Worthington, 614-885-4006. MULLINS Robert Samuel Mullins, passed away in Sacramento, Calif. on April 11, 2001. He was a 1958 graduate of Central High School in Columbus, Oh. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 22 years. While in Columbus, he was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church and was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Sacramento at the time of his passing. He was the beloved husband of Yvonne Mullins of Sacramento, Calif.; loving father of Brandon Mullins (wife, Nona) of Sacramento, Calif.; caring brother of Vivian Moore (husband, Calvin), Uvella Lauderdale and Ryland Mullins, all of Columbus, Oh.; nephew of Vivian Knight of Columbus, Oh., Martha Breedlove of Knoxville, Tenn. and Blanche Hawkins of Detroit, Mich.; devoted grandfather of Kyle and Brandon Mullins Jr. Also leaves a host of other loving relatives and friends. Preceded in death by parents Naomi and Cecil Mullins and sister Frenetta Miller. Graveside service will be on Wednesday April 18, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Sunset Lawn, 4701 Marysville Blvd., Sacramento, Calif. NEWMAN Ruth G. Newman, age 90, of Upper Arlington, on Monday, April 16, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Survived by daughters, Justine (Louis) Capretta of Dublin and Vickie (Thomas Jr.) Yezbak of Sunrise, Fla.; grandchildren, Craig (Arlinda) Capretta, Barry Capretta and Nicolette Ross; great-grandchildren, Kelley Capretta, Toni Capretta and Javi Maltes. PIERAMICO Sabatino "Sam" Pieramico, 92, died Sunday, April 15, 2001 at Minerva Park Place Nursing Home. A member of St. Thomas Catholic Church. He is survived by his niece, Naomi Kinzel; nephew, Alex Pieramico; other nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nepehws. He is preceded in death by his wife Edna Pieramico. PITT Ruby Ellen Smith Pitt, 79, of Columbus, died April 17, 2001 in the Franklin  Woods Care Center. She was born February 10, 1922 in Ross Co., the daughter of Lewis and Alweda Before Smith. She was retired from General Motors in Columbus. Her parents, son Elwen (Buddy) Pitt, a grandson, 4 brothers and 6 sisters predeceased Ruby. She is survived by daughter, Mary Lou (Jerry) Donaldson, Sr., Columbus; sister, Imogene Curry, Circleville; granddaughters, Diane (Mike, Jr.) Forther, Johnstown, Cathy (Dennis) Price and Melissa Foster; grandson, Jerry Donaldson, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Michael and Julie Price, Gregory and Kimberly Pitt; and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Columbus. RILEY Patricia Rose Riley, age 72, died peacefully in the home of her daughter on Friday, April 13, 2001 following a short but courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her father James P. McEneany Sr. and mother Lucy M. McEneany; brother James P. McEneany Jr. and sister Sr. Barbara Ann McEneany, CSC. She was survived by her loving and devoted husband, Robert L. Riley Sr. of 50 years; daughter, Kathleen, sons, Robert L. (Patricia) Jr., Michael and Patrick (Sherry); daughter, Colleen (Daniel) Phillips; grandchildren, Lisa and Billy Rawson, Joseph, Dana, Justin, Kelli and Karen Riley; great-granddaughter, Madison Jeter; sisters, Jane F. RITCHEY We knew this time would some day come, but still our hearts are saddened by the loss of a great man. Dr. Robert R. Ritchey, "Doc", was born May 15, 1911 in McConnelsville, Ohio and passed away April 16, 2001. He moved to Columbus in 1929, where he began working for Gilbert Shoes. He later entered the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland and graduated in 1947. During this time he met the love of his life, married her and started his family. After graduation, He started his podiatry practice and Cofounded Ritchey Brothers Shoe Store in Columbus. He also owned Ritchey Morgan Horse Farm in Baltimore, Ohio, where he raised and showed Morgan Horses. He practice podiatry the remainder of his 50 year career in his Bexley Office. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and the 50 Plus Club at Miraculous Medal Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Kay ( Schmidt); his son Robert II; and 6 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, sons, Jay (Joanie), Mike (Jenny), Steve, and Fred (Joan); daughters, Kathy (Mike) Winchell, Karen (Dennis) Kostora, Marilyn Dailey, and Mary Jane (Dan) Ryan. He has 28 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who love him dearly. He is also survived by his brother, Jim (Maryanne); his sister, Helen; sisters-in-law, Helen and Nancy Ritchey; and many nieces and nephews. Mary, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, peacefully went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2001 at 5:15 a.m. She was born December 17, 1932 in Baltimore, Ohio, to the late Charles and Lucille (Kinney) Leach. She was an active member of The Salvation Army Church, where she was a member of Home League and League of Mercy. She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard Ryan; daughter, Diana (Ronald) DeMichael of Newark, Oh.; son, James (Virginia) Ryan of Bell Buckle, Tenn.; daughter, Martha (Robert) Scott of Columbus; 10 grandchildren, Bryan, Misty, Tricia, and Patrick DeMichael, James Jr., Jamie, and Jennifer Ryan, Beverly Bennett, Kelly Marchi, and Jessie Harden; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters, Alice Hawk, Gene Rose Wielgos, Geraldine Peak, Carol Taylor; brothers, James Leach, Richard Leach, Donald Leach; sister-in-law, Edith Evans; brothers-in-law, Allen and John Ryan; special friend, Nick Kiger; and numerous nieces and nephews. STEIN Ida M. Stein, 87, formerly of Johnstown, died Monday, April 16, 2001 at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at CROUSE-KAUBER-SAMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 225 N. Main St., Johnstown, with Rev. G.A. Haubrich officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Stein was born March 23, 1914 in Columbus to the late Howard and Mary Schaible Griffith. Preceded in death by her husband John Stein and 2 brothers Clement and Lawrence Griffith. Survived by 2 daughters, Susanne (Richard) Herrel of Warsaw, Oh. and Judy Stein of Johnstown; grandchildren, Rebecca Perian of Livonia, Mich., Linda Hayes of Newark, Amy Tyack of Johnstown; great-grandchildren, Ronald, Michael, Kaylynne, Ashley and Emily; and several nieces.
