TACKETT John Wayne Tackett, 44, died unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, April 17, 2001. Mr. Tackett was born on May 3, 1956 in Columbus, Ohio, to Manuel Ray and Louise Sparks Tackett. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time with his daughter and taking care of his mom. He was a very loving and caring person who will be sadly missed by his family. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy LeAnn Tackett of Johnstown, Oh.; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Terry and Pamela Tackett, Dale Tackett, Randy Tackett and his fiancee Amanda Begly, all of Mansfield; his mother, Louise Sparks Tackett, also of Mansfield; and his former wife, Tina Tackett of Johnstown. He was preceded in death by his father Manuel Ray Tackett. Friends may call Thursday, April 19, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Downtown Chapel of WERNER FUNERAL HOMES, where funeral services will be held Friday 1 p.m. with Rev. Clifford Earl Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in Mansfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

TUCKER Robert D. Tucker, age 55, of London, Oh., died Monday, April 16, 2001 at his residence. He was a Yardmaster and an employee of N.S. Railroad for 32 years. Veteran of Viet Nam, a member of American Legion Post #358, Cincinnati, Oh. Survived by his children, Robin Mae Tucker, Joseph H. Tucker, Todd King and his wife, Kelley, Kathy Brown and her husband, Jeff. Preceded in death by his parents Howard and Mae Tucker, fiance of Leona Hallows. Survived by 3 sisters, Virginia "Sis" Spaulding, Mary Breving, Joyce Tucker; 2 brothers, Howard Tucker Jr. and Richard Sunnenberg; 1 sister, Shirley Hickey preceded him in death. Grandfather of Cameron and Carson King. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and friends. Friends may call at the E.C. Member of FOE 2252. Preceded in death by both parents Lucy and Fred Nick Valetino, sisters "Little" Mary Benedetto, Mary Lea Melfi, Alice Carns, brothers Albert, Leonard and Edward Valentino. Survived by wife, Opal Valentino of 61 years; sons, Albert (Becky) Valentino, Ronald F. Valentino of Marion, Oh.; daughter, Barbara (Jay) Douglas of Mich.; 7 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. YETTER Donald B. Yetter, age 45, Saturday, April 14, 2001 in Atlanta, Ga. Member of the Information Technology Department of the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Former Associate of The Columbus Dispatch. 1974 graduate of South High School. Attended Columbus State Community College. Survived by sisters, Mary Ann Swagger, Jean Verser and Sharon Davis; brothers, Tom and Paul Yetter; many nieces and nephews; little dog, Sammy; and his extended family at the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER STATE STREET CHAPEL, 229 E. State St., where friends may call Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment Alton Cemetery. ANDERSON Harold E. Anderson, age 83, of Dublin, OH, went home to be with the Lord on April 18, 2001 at Friendship Village of Dublin. Born in New York on October 22, 1917, Harold grew up, married and lived in New York City until retiring from his job as a lieutenant in the NYC Police Department after 29 years of service. Moving to East Quogue, NY with his wife Helen, he became actively involved in both the Methodist Church and Long Island Power Squadron. Becoming a lay speaker for the Hampton Bays Methodist Church, he also devoted himself to regularly visiting the sick and housebound. In 1976-77 he served as Commander of the Peconic Bay Power Squadron. After caring for his terminally ill beloved wife, Helen, until her death in 1988, he moved to Friendship Village in Dublin, Oh. in 1993. There he joined the Columbus Power Squadron, attended the Northwest Methodist and Riverside Methodist Churches and regularly assisted in the weekly Vespers Service at Friendship Village. Harold is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lauren Anderson and two grandchildren, Erik and Kristina Anderson of Dublin, OH and his daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Roman Lomnyckyj of Longboat Key, FL and Charlottesville, VA. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. Rev. Fred Ketner officiating. A graveside service will be held on April 25, 2001 at Good Ground Cemetery in Hampton Bay, New York.

BARNETT Vernon C. Barnett, age 95, a resident of Lutheran Village, Sunday, April 15, 2001 at The O.S.U. East Hospital. Preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 2 sisters and wife Beulah Barnett. Survived by caregiver, Helen E. Green; Morgan Childs family; sister-in-law, Dorothy Barnett of Alliance, Oh.; many other relatives and friends. Funeral 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel of C.D. WHITE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 1217 Mt. Vernon Ave. Rev. Renee Green-Russell, Officiant. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment Fairview Memorial Park.

BINNS (KEADEY) Dorothy Fay (Keadey) Binns, beloved mother and perfect grandmother, died Tuesday, April 17, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital, at the age of 84. She was born October 8, 1916 in Columbus, Oh., and was preceded in death by her parents Agnes Keadey Planck and Herman Planck and her beloved husband Robert W. Binns. She was a graduate of South High School, Class of 1934, and retired from Rickenbacker Air Force Base. Dorothy attended Marion Square, Groveport and Canal Winchester Senior Centers and belonged to various card clubs. Survived by son, Robert W. (Crystal) Binns; granddaughters, Julie (Duff) Binns Dyer, Brandy J. Binns and Heather Binns; great-grandson, Chase A. Dyer; brother, James (Margaret) Keadey; nephew, Douglas (Kathy) Keadey; great-niece, Alyssa Keadey; great-nephew, Andrew Keadey; many loving friends. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., and Friday from 12noon until funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. Rev. Ken Marckel officiating. Survived by her sister, Phyllis "Corkey" Hull; children, Katherine Marie Stewart, Joyce Rae Eichhorn, Debra Sue Johnston, Laura Lee Carmany, Joseph Carl Eichhorn and Alice Lynn Hall; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. He was formerly employed with Wilson Floors for 25 years and was a U.S. Navy Veteran during Korean War.
