Born August 10, 1920 in Jenkins, Ky., to the late James Howard, Sr., and Gussie Robbin. Survived by former wife, Carol Turns of Westerville; children, Kurt Howard, Darlene Epps, Teresa Howard, and Jamal Smith; three grandchildren and a sister, Ruby McAllister. Fuenral service Monday, April 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the CRISS-SCHOEDINGER FUNERAL CHAPEL, 179 Granville St., Newark with the Rev. Dr. Charles W. Noble, Sr. officiating. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery. HUCK Paula Wynne Huck, 61, died Friday, April 27, 2001. She is survived by lloving husband, Larry; sons, Brian (Traycee) and Kevin Huck; daughter, Amy Huck; 1 future grandchild; parents, Roland and Margaret Wynne; brother, Peter Wynne; sisters, Therese Tamaro and Leah Brown. She was a member of Twig 192 and The Dudes and Dolls Square Dance Club. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 30, 2001 at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Urban at Atwater. Fr. Jerry Rodenfels, Celebrant. Private family interment at a later date. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday, April 29, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where a prayer service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Hospital, P.O.  Johnson (LAZUKA) Angeline Johnson, age 86, was called home by Jesus on Sunday, April 22, 2001 from St. Raphael's Home for the Aged. Angie was born in Chicago, moved to Columbus to reside at Oakleaf Village until 1992, when she went to live with her daughter. A vibrant, generous, outgoing and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, leaving many treasured memories behind. Preceded in death by her husband Carl, 9 brothers and sisters and her grandson Gregory Scott Taylor. She is survived by her only daughter, Geraldine "Jeri" Hoffman Taylor; grandsons, Michael (Diana) Taylor, David  Taylor and Bobbi (Scott) Taylor; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Heather, Rory, Christopher Kyle and Victoria. There will be no viewing in Columbus. Local arrangements completed by the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Interment to be held in Chicago, Ill. Memorial get together will be held at Jeri's home on Friday, May 4, 2001 at 6 p.m. Please call if you plan to attend.  Johnson Donald H. Johnson, age 75, Brooksville, Fla., formerly of Columbus, died Friday, April 27, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center West. Don was retired from Honeywell, a member of West Gate Lodge #623 F&AM, the Elks and V.F.W. in Brooksville, Fla. U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol (Bain)  Johnson in September 2000, brother Glen and sister Ila Huffman. He is survived by children, Thomas (Lori) Johnson, Grove City, Oh., Kris (Robert) Cziraki, Lake Placid, N.Y. and Sandy (Edwin) Spencer, Columbus, Oh.; grandchildren, Julie (Sergio) Arana, Amy and Andy Cziraki, Heath and Brett Johnson, Heather Meindl; great-grandchildren, Isaiah and Kailee Arana; brothers, Marvin and James Johnson; sister, Mae Talbott. LANE Dolly C. Lane, 90, Sunbury Friday, April 27, 2001. Born in Columbus on November 13, 1910 to the late Harry and Catherine Haag. The homemaker enjoyed her children, grandchildren, gardening, needlework, and cooking. Member of Conduit Presbyterian Church. Survived by son, Ellis E. (Sally) Lane; daughter, Stella C. Morton of Sunbury; 4 grandchildren, Annette (Estelito) Moraleja, Steve (Heather) Lane, Dean (Mary) Pettit, Jody (Randy) Keller; 11 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband of 35 years Ellis W. Lane in 1969; brother Harry Haag; and sister Agnes Swope. MANNING Raymond E. Manning, 71, passed away April 27, 2001 at his residence after a long illness. Mr. Manning was retired from Columbus City Schools, a vetearn of the Korean Conflict, U.S. Army. Survived by wife, Magalene Manning; son, Robert Manning (Debbie) of Columbus; daughters, Kim Hawkins (Michael) of Columbus, Linda Cordle (Wayne) of Clarksburg, Oh.; 3 grandchildren, Sheila Manning, Richard Thompson, Jr. and Kathleen Manning; 1 sister, Barbara Pruitt (Paul) of Murchison, Tex.; 1 brother, James Manning (Muriel) of Arlington, Tex.; 1 brother-in-law, Joe Bishop of Columbus; 2 aunts of Portsmouth, Oh.; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. MARCUM James Allen Marcum, age 88, Friday, April 27, 2001 at Traditions at Stygler Rd. Retired Electrical Contractor from Rockwell International. Former Deputy Sheriff of Franklin County, Oh. Member of St. Patrick Church, longtime usher and volunteer for electrical maintenance. Member of Knights of Columbus, Our Lady of the Rosary Council #4180 and St. Patrick's Council. Awarded Family of the Year, 1983 and 1985. Grand Knight Service, 1990-1992. Active member Shamrock Club and Glee Club member. Sergeant, Knights of St. John. In partnership with his friend, the late Clarence Miller, the two built a racecar which won a National indoor, three-quarter midget championship which was televised on ABC Wide World of Sports. Member numerous bowling leagues. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Frances Marcum, brothers Staunton (Slim), Paul, Phillip and Charles Marcum. Survived by loving wife, Margaret (Beresh); children, Sr. Regina Marcum, O.S.F., Donna Dietsch, Vivian Hawker, Felicia (James) Jones, Patrick Marcum and Michelle Dean; grandchildren, Maria Laret, Vanessa Quinones, Adriana McKelvey, Lori Warner, Angela Hildebrand, Moncia Warner, Richard Warner, Jessica Knoblauch, Kyle Marcum, Brandon Dean, Ryan Dean and Logan Dean; 11 great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Greenwalt and Miriam Gerlach; loyal companion, black labrador, Baron. MILES Richard Gene Miles, age 63, Friday, April 27, 2001 at home. U.S. Air Force Veteran stationed at Rickenbacker AFB for 4 years. Retired employee and supervisor with Advertising Checking Bureau, Inc. after 32 years of service. Also retired in 2000 from DFAS as a contract payment voucher examiner. Preceded in death by parents David and Sally (McMurry) Miles and companion of 30 years Richard G. McCauley in 1993. Survived by best friend, James M. Black of Columbus; sisters, Helen Boyd of Blountville, Tenn. and Bessie Miles of Trenton, Tenn.; nephews, James Bowers, Jr. of Greenville, S.C. and Richard Crawford of Bristol, Tenn.; niece, Linda (Dick Oliver) Berkley of Bristol, Tenn. McCAMMON Norma J. McCammon, age 68, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 24, 2001. Member of New Beginning Church. Preceded in death by husband D'Ellis L. McCammon, father Earl R. Fossett, Sr. Survived by mother, Theola Muriel Fossett; daughters, Jeannine Boyer, Jennifer and Judy Hall; sons, Rand and Sean McCammon; grandchildren, Cara Cardwell, Anitra Hammond, Davina, Amber and David Boyer, James and Chad Hall, Rhonda Lavender; great-grandchildren, Alex Glenn, Rae'Ven and Christopher Hammond, Taryn Bryant, Tayon Strickland, VonRoy Howe II, Rhoshonda Lavender, Dieon Hairston; sister, Carmen Fossett; brothers, Earl R. SANDERS Wallace R. Sanders, age 85, went to be with the Lord April 25, 2001 at Kobacker House. Retired from Boeing-Rockwell. Charter member Westerville Bible Church. Preceded in death by wife Rachelle Sanders. Survived by sister, Helen Healy of Bryn Mawr, Pa.; daughter, Bobbie Lea Stember of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Steven, Scott, Jill and Julie. Smith (a correction guard for the State of Ohio for 37 years), sister Mrs. Anna I. Tharp of Crooksville, Oh. SPEAKMAN (MARCUM) Jace Michael Speakman was given to us April 24, 2001 and returned to be with his fellow angels April 26, 2001. Although Jace was with us for only a short time, his memory will last a lifetime. So many hearts were touched by his brief visit. Jace, my sweet little boy, is resting now - shhhh.. We love you Jace. Survived by mommy, Erica; sister, Makennah; daddy, Dirk; brother, Tyler; grandparents, Teresa and Michael; grandmother, Donna; grandfather, Big Dirk; great grandmother, Juanita.
