WILLIAMS Evelyn C. Williams, age 82, of Reynoldsburg, Oh., passed away Thursday, April 26, 2001 at 9 a.m. She was born to Charles and Mary Colabine in Graysville, Pa. Evelyn was a graduate of The Indiana University of Pennsylvania . She was a teacher of music education and was a founding and active officer of Williams Trailer Sales, Inc. of Reynoldsburg. She was an active member of the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, Director of Junior Choir for many years, Dorcas Women's Society, Charter life member of the Reynoldsburg Civic Club. Life member of the Mid- Ohio Walking Horse Association, and a member of the Reynoldsburg Historical Society. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, J. Evan Williams, they were married August 20, 1941. She will be sadly missed by her 2 daughters, Judy W. (J. Tullis) Rogers and Dayna "Susie" W. (Curt) Barsi; 3 grandsons, J. Evan (Stacy) Atkinson, Jack W. (Kimberlie) Atkinson and Jaren D. Wilcoxson; 3 great-grandchildren will also miss her presence, Charlie, Ethan and Emma Atkinson. Also surviving are sister, Florence Finson, Buffalo, N.Y.; brother, James Colabine, Grand Rapids, Mich.; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Lula Harnish, Tyrone, Pa. The family will receive friends Monday April 30, 2001 from 4-6 p.m. at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, 1636 Graham Rd., Reynoldsburg, Oh. Memorial service at 6 p.m. and a dinner will follow at the church. WILSON Charles W. Wilson, 47, of Columbus, formerly of Plain City died Friday, April 27, 2001 in OSU Hospital. He was the owner of Charles Wilson Tax Consulting and Services. Preceded in death by mother Betty; brothers Jim "Butch" Wilson and infant Patrick Wilson; aunt Bonnie Pfeiffer. Survived by wife, Lori; father, James Wilson; children, Bart Wilson and Rebecca Wilson; sister, Debbie Wilson. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City where service will be held Wednesday 1 p.m. Rev. Ron Willmann officiating. Interment Green Lawn Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

WORLEY Ruth L. Rogers Worley, born May 23, 1917, died on April 26, 2001 in Atlantic Beach, Florida. Services are being held Monday, April 30th at 3 p.m. at Fleet Landing in Atlantic Beach, Florida and in Beaufort National Cemetery, South Carolina at 9 a.m. on the same day. As a young woman, she joined Chi Omega sorority, served on the homecoming court at Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in education in 1939. Upon graduation, she crisscrossed the United States as a stewardess for TWA and later traveled the world as wife of Navy man George V. Rogers, who preceded her in death in 1988. She had a life-long interest in horseback riding, golf and bridge and a successful career as a teacher, founding a kindergarten in Guam in 1950 and teaching more than 20 years in Ohio's Columbus Public Schools. She married Powell E. Worley, a Navy man originally from  Louisiana in 1992. Together they enjoyed a shared interest in travel, family and friends. In all that she did, she brought an extraordinary imagination and joy in people. She had an uncanny ability to draw people of all ages into her enthusiasms. She and her laughter will be solely missed and long remembered. She is survived by her husband, Powell; sister, Mary Lou Kincaid of Hillsboro, Ohio; daughter, Linda Rogers Miller and her husband Jeff from Coral Springs, Florida; son, Richard Bruce Rogers and wife Dianne from Nelsonville, Ohio; and son, George C. Rogers and wife Lyn from Toledo, Ohio. Her surviving grandchildren are: Lisa Van Loan, Lisa Rogers Wells, David Rogers, Bruce Wickham, Beattie Rogers, Greg Miller and Jennifer Rogers. Her great-grandchildren are Jackie Van Loan and Nate George Wells.

ARLINE A memorial service will be held for Henry N. Arline at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2001 at Nazareth Towers, 300 E. Rich St. Mr. Arline died April 13, 2001 at Grant Hospital from complications following a heart attack. He was a retired copy editor for The Dispatch.

BADGER Philip D. Badger III, age 32, Thursday at his residence. BROOKS Ruth J. Brooks, age 90, Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Villas at St. Therese. Survived by daughters, Carol (Richard David) Dicks, Barbara (Michael William) Henestofel and Mary Kay (H. CHAFFIN Glen Ples Chaffin Jr., age 43, of Columbus passed away Friday, April 27, 2001 at Mount Carmel Medical Center. Preceded in death by father Glen P. COLE Leah Cole, age 95, of Westerville, August 21, 1905 - April 28, 2001, passed away at her Westerville residence in the company of family. Graduate of OSU. Elementary School Teacher for 36 years; Genoa Twp Red Bank, one room school house 1926-1928; Galena, Ohio for 16 years; Painsville, KY 1 year; Courtright Elementary Columbus 1 year; and Sunbury, Oh., Big Walnut System 1958-1973 -15 years. A winner of 1973 Outstanding Teacher of America Award. Member of Mizpah Chapter OES. Survived by son, James T. Cole, Galena; a daughter, Ilene R. Cornell, Westerville; grandchildren, James C. Cole, Thomas D. Cole, Steven R. Cole, Johnathan W. Cole, Diana Cornell, Connie Cornell, Sandra Cornell and Abbie Cornell Donaldson; 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. CUTLIP Goldie Mae Cutlip, age 86, of Marysville, formerly of Columbus, died Sunday, April 29, 2001 at the Milcrest Nursing Center in Marysville. She was a former member of Potter's House Church, Columbus. She is survived by a daughter, Joan Finch, Marysville; and a granddaughter, Brenda (David) Volpe, Hilliard. Services will be held Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the MANNASMITH-HALE FUNERAL HOME, Marysville. Reverend Peter Miller will officiate. Interment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park where graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Mannasmith-Hale Funeral Home.

DUNLAP (HUTTON) John V. Dunlap (aka J. Anthony Hutton). John couldn't go shopping anymore so it was time to move on. John was born in Glouster, Oh. to Lois (Francis) and Delmar Dunlap. He graduated from Ohio University and served in the United States Army. His professional life included work in Southern, Oh., Cleveland, New York City, Washington, D.C., Germany and the Central Ohio area. His love of teaching, drama and speech were evident in his work in television, the USO, schools, his zest for life, and particularly shopping. He retired from the Madison Plains School District. An avid collector of art and antiques John crisscrossed the country looking for the next collectible or work of art. He is survived by loving family and friends, Sabra (Eddie) Dunlap Morrison Ash., Victoria Morrison Tipton, Todd Morrison, Jim Bliek and many friends. There will be a Memorial Service at Trinity Episcopal Church, 125 East Broad Street, Columbus, Oh. on Tuesday, May 1 at 6:30 p.m., followed by a reception at his favorite place, his home. Expressions of sympathy as floral offerings or contributions to the memorials and gifts of Trinity Episcopal Church are welcome. Arrangements by SCHOEDINGER STATE STREET CHAPEL.

EGER Eugene "Pete" Eger, age 77, of Delaware, previously of Dublin, died Friday, April 27, 2001 at Delaware Court Nursing Home. Born July 6, 1923 in Dublin, Ohio. Self-employed stone mason for Eger Brothers Stone Masonry in central Ohio for a number of years. Preceded in death by parents Daniel and Iva (Roop) Eger; brother Daniel Eger; sister Mary Shumway; great-grandson Ronald Peters, Jr. Survived by wife, N. Jean (Daniels) Eger whom he married October 24, 1959; daughters, Carol Clark, Buffie Barckhoff-Faulk, Julie Potter, Jody Stephens; sons, Mark Eger and Joey Eger; 9 grandchildren; brothers, Calvin, George, Ralph and Edgar. FEEMAN Mary Feeman, age 86, of Bremen, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Fairfield Medical Center, Lancaster. Survived by daughter, Mary Jo McCandish of Columbus. FLICKINGER Alma (Young) Flickinger, age 93, Friday, April 27, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Resident of Dublin Retirement Village and longtime resident of Hilliard. Graduate of OSU School of Nursing in 1929. Member of Hilliard United Methodist Church, Hilliard Senior Citizens, Happiness Club, Shamrock Club of Dublin and Northwest Franklin County Historical Society. Formerly employed at Scioto Crest Nursing Center. Preceded in death by husband Charles F. Flickinger; brothers Robert Young and Richard Young of Plain City, Oh. FRAZIER Esther May Frazier, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, who at the age of 71, went home to be with our Lord. GEARHART MaryAnne (Peake) Gearhart, 46, born July 25, 1954, chose to be with God on April 27, 2001, after an extended illness. Survived by loving husband of 12 years, Gary Gearhart, Sr.; daughter, Kristi Ann Meyer, Tempe, Arizona; father, Floyd Peake; stepson, Billy Gearhart; step-grand daughter, Kayla Gearhart; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Leona and Bill Gearhart; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by mother Helen Peake. She served in the U.S. Navy from 1974 to 1976 and was formerly employed by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Columbus Office.
