MARTIN Georgia M. Martin, 94, of Columbus, Oh., former resident of Lancaster, died Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.
She was a retired clerk for Hickles and Weisman Department Stores, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Warren E. and Lois J. Martin of Gahanna; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Marty Black of Kettering; brother-in-law, Dick Sweyer of Lancaster; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Captain Merrill Martin; parents Thomas and Martha Black; brother Bernard Black; 2 sisters Gladine Black and Helen Sweyer.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Forest Rose Cemetery with Dr. Sherwood W. Anderson officiating.
Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the graveside service at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster, Oh.
Memorial gifts may be given to the Alzheimer's Association of Central Ohio, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221.

McCAMMON Norma J. McCammon, age 68, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 24, 2001. Member of New Beginning Church.
Preceded in death by husband D'Ellis L. McCammon, father Earl R. Fossett, Sr.
Survived by mother, Theola Muriel Fossett; daughters, Jeannine Boyer, Jennifer and Judy Hall; sons, Rand and Sean McCammon; grandchildren, Cara Cardwell, Anitra Hammond, Davina, Amber and David Boyer, James and Chad Hall, Rhonda Lavender; great-grandchildren, Alex Glenn, Rae'Ven and Christopher Hammond, Taryn Bryant, Tayon Strickland, VonRoy Howe II, Rhoshonda Lavender, Dieon Hairston; sister, Carmen Fossett; brothers, Earl R. Fossett, Jr., Terry Fossett; aunt, Betty Terry James; uncle, Emerson Terry; special friend, Ginger Harris; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial Service will be held 7 p.m. Monday, April 30 at COOK & SON-PALLAY FUNERAL HOME, 1631 Parsons Ave., where family will receive friends following the service.

ROWE George A. "Nip" Rowe, age 89, of Grove City passed away Saturday, April 28, 2001 at his residence.
George was a member of the Grove City F&AM Lodge 689 and Grove City United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
Retired from Ohio State University where he worked in landscaping.
Preceded in death by wife Virginia and son Bruce.
Survived by son, Donn (Barbara) of Grove City; grandsons, Steve of Pickerington, Chris of Columbus; and granddaughter, Michelle of Dania Beach, Fla.; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation is Monday 1-3 and 7-9 p.m.
Masonic service 7:30 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City.
Funeral Tuesday 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Gerald Lewis officiating.
Interment in Harrison Township Cemetery in South Bloomfield.
The family would like to give a special and a heartfelt thanks to the nurses and volunteers of Mount Carmel Hospice.

SANDERS Jacqueline "Carlene" (Dado) Sanders of Pataskala Sunday Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born in Freeburn, Ky.
A lifelong Christian and a devoted and loving mother, wife, daughter, grandmother, sister and friend.
Active member Summit Baptist Church and Sunday school teacher.
Former home economics teacher at Phelps High School, Phelps, Ky.
Substitute teacher at Licking Heights Schools.
Graduate Eastern Kentucky University class of 1966.
Survived by husband of 30 years, William C. Sanders; daughters, Valerie J. Sanders of Pataskala; son, and daughter-in-law Chad E. and Tricia R. Sanders of Pickerington, grandson, William "Chase" Sanders; parents, Joe and Lera (Espy) Dado of Freeburn, Ky.; brother and sister-in-law, Larry J. and Peggy A. Dado of Westerville; niece, Natalie M. Dado and nephew, Andrew J. Dado both of Westerville; mother-in-law, Mary Sanders of Lexington, Ky.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dwight D. and Linda K. Sanders of Georgetown, Ky., J.B. and Sharon Sanders of Cynthiana, Ky.; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Preceded in death by father-in-law, James E. Sanders; grandfather and grandmother, Dado and Espy.

SANDERS Wallace R. Sanders, age 85, went to be with the Lord April 25, 2001 at Kobacker House.
Retired from Boeing-Rockwell. Charter member Westerville Bible Church.
Preceded in death by wife Rachelle Sanders.
Survived by sister, Helen Healy of Bryn Mawr, Pa.; daughter, Bobbie Lea Stember of Las Vegas, Nev.; grandchildren, Steven, Scott, Jill and Julie.
Family will receive friends Monday 12noon-1 p.m. with funeral service to follow at 1 p.m. in the LONG FUNERAL HOME, 5528 Cleveland Ave., (1 block south SR 161).
Burial Pioneer Cemetery, Westerville, Oh.

SHEMER Willis A. Shemer, age 87, of Kenton died Friday, April 27, 2001 at Grant Medical Center, Columbus.
Born June 17, 1917 in a log cabin in Lynn Twp., Hardin Co. to Cary Willis and Catherine Esther (Predmore) Shemer.
Married to Marjorie Hall who died August 9, 1974.
He then married Dorothy (Kurtz) Pfister on May 17, 1975; she survives in Kenton.
He is also survived by 1 stepdaughter, Wilma (Dr. Tom) Page of Richland, Washington ; 3 stepsons, Dr. Donald (Cathy) Pfister of Cambridge, Mass., David (Kathy) Pfister of Ortonville, Michigan and Dr. Eugene (Joan) Pfister of Hudson, Oh.; 7 step grandchildren and 2 step great granchildren.
He started his career as a printer with the Old News Republican.
He retired from the Heer/National Graphics Printing Co. after 32 plus years of service.
He was a fifty plus year member of Summit United Methodist Church of Columbus, Oh.
He was a recording secretary of Columbus Typographical Union No. 5 for 35 years.
At one time he was secretary-treasurer of the Columbus Allied Printing Trades Council.
He was a 60 year member of Kenton Latham Lodge No. 154: Scottish Rite, Valley of Columbus; Aladdin Shrine Temple, Ambassador's Club, a member of American Legion Post No. 198 and a member of Kenton Elks Lodge No. 157.
He was a WWII Veteran, staff Sargeant in the U.S. Army Air Force.
Visiting hours 6-8 p.m. and Masonic Service 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2001. Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001 PRICE FUNERAL HOME, Kenton Rev. Mike Raypholtz officiating. Interment Union Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
Memorial may be made to the Shriners Children Hospital in Lexington, Ky.

SINETT Bonita K. Sinett, loving daughter, sister, wife and mother.
Born July 24, 1953. Departed this earth suddenly April 27, 2001.
Preceded in death by father Webster E. Aurand.
Survived by husband, Donald A. Sinett; sons, Anthony (Lora) Neff, George (Lucy) Neff; daughter, Donita Sinett; step-son, Mac Daniel (Detra) Brumfield; granddaughters, Rebecca and Kayleigh Neff; grandsons, Davontay, Donavon and Daniel Brumfield; mother, Juanita Aurand; sisters, Carol (Larry) Druck, Lindie (Charlie) Collins, Regina Ashbrook; nephews, nieces and great nieces. SNOW Joe W. Snow, age 79, of Sunbury, Oh., formerly of Columbus, Saturday, April 28, 2001 at home.
Formerly employed by Deercreek Auto Parts, Williamsport, Oh., Riverside Auto Parts, Newark, Oh., and Wirthman's Auto Parts, Columbus, Oh.
Veteran of World War II.
Survived by daughter, Marilyn Williams of Columbus; grandsons, Bradley and Chad Williams; great-granddaughter, Michaela; sister-in-law, Mae B. Snow; brother-in-law, Ernie Toth; brother-in-law, Harold Moore and his wife Ruth; nieces, Patti Masucci, Linda White, Debbie Stoots and Laura Lama; nephews, Kirk Toth, Larry and Gary Moore. Preceded in death by wife Ila M. Snow; brother Charles Snow and sister Florence Toth.

SOROKA Barbara Lynn (Eck) Soroka, age 56, Sunday, April 29, 2001, peacefully at home.
Devoted and loving mother and friend, graduate of Ohio University and long time resident of Reynoldsburg.
Preceded in death by parents Edwin L. and Alice M. Eck of Warsaw, NY.
Survived by brother, Thomas W. Eck, wife, Sheila A. and nephew, Timothy W. of Sarasota, Fla.; daughter, Karla M., son-in-law, Christopher J. Cobel; sons, Grant T., Chad R., and Derrick M.; and many friends.

Survived by husband, Daryl; sons, Christopher, Matthew and Michael; parents, Walter and Irene Oliver; sisters, Susan Oliver and Barbara Godin; other relatives and many friends. Member of St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, Dublin, P.E.O. Sisterhood, MOPS.
Employed by Lazarus and Signature, Inc.
Graduate of University of Cincinnati.
Funeral service 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, 7121 Muirfield Drive, Dublin, Oh.

WILSON Charles W. Wilson, 47, of Columbus, formerly of Plain City died Friday, April 27, 2001 in OSU Hospital.
He was the owner of Charles Wilson Tax Consulting and Services.
Preceded in death by mother Betty; brothers Jim "Butch" Wilson and infant Patrick Wilson; aunt Bonnie Pfeiffer.
Survived by wife, Lori; father, James Wilson; children, Bart Wilson and Rebecca Wilson; sister, Debbie Wilson.

WYCUFF JoAnn Wycuff, age 65, passed away Friday, April 27, 2001. Retired from Ohio State University.
Preceded in death by infant son Jerry. Beloved wife of George Wycuff; loving mother of Sherrie (Randy) Kocher, Gary (Wanda) Wycuff and Terry Wycuff (Paul Short, Jr.); 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sister, Erma Yoder; nieces and nephews.

ZAFARAS Helen Zafaras, 91, passed away April 28, 2001.
Born September 1, 1909 in Constantinople, Turkey, she resided in Columbus for the past 12 years.
Preceded in death by husband Thomas; daughter Effie Hionedes; sons-in-law John Pappas and Duke Doukakis.
She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Nicholas) Voutsaras, Joan Doukakis, Evelyn Pappas, and Katherine (Eugene) Volas; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and her care giver and friend, Annette Flanagan.
Striffler Funeral Homes of McKeesport, Penn. will be handling services.
In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Alzheimer's Assn., 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, Oh. 43221.
