He is also a graduate of the University of  Oklahoma. Served in the U.S. Air Force, WW II. He was a Civil Service employee at the Wright Patterson Air Force Base in the Logistics Command. Awarded in 1989 as an Outstanding School Partner at the St. Peters School in Huber Heights, Oh. for introducing computers and establishing a library. Son of the late Lewis and Margaret Davis. Survived by wife of 53 years, Carmella (Millie); sister, Gloria (Ed) Eldridge; mother-in-law, Ann Albanese; brothers-in-law, Anthony (Frances) Fudoli, Peter (Ann) Albanese; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Ave. Prayer service 3:30 p.m. Friday. DAVIS Stephen Ray Davis, age 49, Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at Arbor's at Hilliard. Member Maranatha Baptist Church. Veteran U.S. Army. Preceded in death by father Ralph Davis. Survived by wife, Patty; sons, Stephen II (Jennifer) and Michael James Jones; grandsons, Nicholas, Joel and Alex; mother, Norma (Tom) Runyon; mother- and father-in-law, James and Carol Henry; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Thursday 6-9 p.m. then after 10 a.m. Friday. DEETH Anna Mildred Deeth, of Columbus, died Monday, February 26, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Mrs. Deeth was born in New York City, N.Y. on February 7, 1914. She was a resident of First Community Village and a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband, Harold R. Deeth; son, John (Nancy) Deeth; granddaughter, Amy (Michael) Christie; grandson, Jeffrey Deeth; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin and Ryan Christie. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2001 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 2151 Dorset Rd., Upper Arlington. The family will receive friends following the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Community Village Sustaining Fund. DILL Dr. Joel Standish Wesley Dill, 60, of Evansville, Ind., died 2:05 p.m. Monday, February 26, 2001 at St. Mary's Medical Center of a heart attack. Dr. Dill taught English and coached baseball and baseball at Buckeye Valley and Riverdale High Schools in Oh. He was Dean of Students, taught and coached at Urbana College in Urbana, Oh. He taught graduate classes at Ball State University in the overseas program and he taught at the University of Evansville from 1971-1988. He had a private practice for 25 years. Dr. Dill was a member of the American Psychological Association. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. He was in the Capital University Sports Hall of Fame in Columbus, Oh. Survived by wife of 31 years, Janet Gress Dill of Evansville, Ind.; daughter and son-in-law, Sarah and Todd Upton, Cincinnati, Oh.; sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Darin W. and Katherine Dill, Indianapolis, Ind., Jeff W. and Susan Gray, Newburgh, Ind.; grandsons, Jared and Jordan Gray, Newburgh, Ind.; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Sue Dill, Columbus, Oh.; uncle, Glen Snethkamp, St. Mary's, Oh. Visitaiton Thursday 2-8 p.m. at ALEXANDER EAST CHAPEL and Friday 12noon until 1 p.m. service time at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Ave., Evansville, Ind. with Pastor Mitchell D. Phillips officiating. Interment Sugarland Memorial Gardens, Washington, Ind. Donations to University of Evansville Scholarship Fund in Dr. Joel Dill's name.

FENNEMAN Michael E. Fenneman, Sr., age 52, of Westerville, Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. Member of BCA, Local 200 Carpenters Union, Little Turtle Country Club. Michael was an avid golfer and family man. Preceded in death by parents Donald and Joyce Fenneman. Survived by loving wife of 21 years, Wendy E.; sons, Jeffrey Fenneman and Craig (Becky) Kukay, both of Westerville; sister, Linda Kline of Bexley; nephews, James and Bobby Kline; loving friends, Jim and Linda Peters, Jerry Frost, Jane Shaw, Ted and Doreen Sergakis, Phil and Joann Bentley; many other special friends. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2001 at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Rd., Westerville, with visitation 1 hour prior to service. Pastor Ralph Gordon officiating. FRICK Willard B. Frick, Ph.D., age 72, on Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Dr. Frick was active in humanistic psychology for more than 30 years. He published numerous articles in the Journal of Humanistic Psychology reflecting his interest in psychotherapy and personality theory. In addition, he served as associate editor of JHP since 1984. Before his retirement in 1993, Willard was professor psychology at Albion College in Mich., where he taught courses in humanistic psychology, counseling and personality theory. Dr. Frick was also on the staff of Oaklawn Counseling Services in Marshall, Mich. and was Adjunct Professor at Otterbein College. Willard is survived by wife, Patricia; sons, Thomas (Janice Margolis) Frick and Ian (Leslie) Frick; daughter, Cristina Rodgers Frick; grandchildren, Kayla, Kristen and Andrew. The family will receive friends Friday 6-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER WORTHINGTON CHAPEL, 6699 N. High St., (* mile south of I-270), where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2001. Rev. Sandra Goode Bricker presiding. Interment will take place in Tenn. at a later date.

GEESLING Helen Vivian Geesling, 94, of Grove City, formerly of Derby, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at her residence. She was born December 22, 1906 in Pickaway County, the daughter of George W. and Cora (Caudy) Geesling. Ms. Geesling was a High School Teacher in Washington C.H. for 6 years and 22 years at East High School in Columbus. Member of Derby United Methodist Church, Phi Delta Gamma Sorority. Preceded in death by parents, sisters Chloe Geesling, Bertha Orfanides, Charlett Alexander, niece and nephew Ruth and Raymond Williams. She is survived by great-niece, Joy Buckler of Grove City; several cousins and a host of friends; special friends and caretakers, Albert and Ruth Fields of Orient. A Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 2, 2001 at the PORTER FUNERAL HME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Pam Brater officiating. with the interment following in Bloomingburg Cemetery. GROVE Thomas Eugene Grove, age 79, Monday, February 26, 2001 at home. WW II U.S. Navy Veteran. Retired from General Motors in 1986 as a Tool & Die Maker. Member of Local UAW #969 and Reynoldsburg Lodge #340 F&AM, Aladdin Shrine Temple. Preceded in death by parents Jacob and Mini (McClincy) Grove, son Thomas Grove, Jr., 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by loving wife, Joy Ann Grove; children, Josh, Maria and Zack Burns, Vance (Chris) Grove, Hope (Chuck) Barker, Frankie (Art) Davenport, Norma (John) Kwasny, Ida (Bruce) Osborne, Jerry (Carijo) Osborne and Jack Burns; daughter-in-law, Betty Grove; 19 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren. GULLEY Leo Gulley, age 58, February 24, 2001 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Employee of D.F.A.S. Member of Rhema Christian Center. Viet Nam veteran. Preceded in death by granddaughter Ericka Daniell Gulley; father Leroy Gulley and sisters Prather Richardson and Marie Holman. Survived by loving wife of 38 years, Melvilyn Gulley; sons, Darren, Timothy, Phillip, and Dominic (Kelley) Gulley; daughter, Georgina Gulley; mother, Rilla Mae Gulley of Chicago; grandchildren, Terrance, Dominic Jr., Raquel and Victoria Gulley; two brothers, three sisters; special aunt, LaZettye  Jones of Chicago; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. HANNIGAN Jacqueline M. Hannigan, age 75, loving mother, grandmother and friend, Monday, February 26, 2001 in Palm Harbor, Fla. Formerly of Columbus and a longtime member of St. James the Less Parish. KARSHNER Brian Phillip Karshner, age 37, of Columbus, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. He was the Sales Manager in his family's firm, Clintonville Electric Co. He was a graduate of Centennial High School, Ashland University and was a former announcer and Music Director of WBBY Radio and a member of Linworth United Methodist Church. He is survived by his parents, Phillip and Patricia Karshner; brother, Matthew W. Karshner, M.D. and his wife, Brenda Ball Karshner of Joplin, Mo.; sister and her husband, Christine and Kenneth McSwain; and beloved fiance', Sarah Louise Nichols, all of Columbus; uncle and aunt, Albert and Charmaine Garey of Covington, Oh.; great-aunts, Clara Miller Townsend of Romney, W.Va. and Dorothy Williams of Mt. Vernon, Oh.; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Brian leaves many, many friends, who will remember him always for his loyalty, good humor and quick wit. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2001 at Linworth United Methodist Church, 7070 Bent Tree Blvd., Columbus with The Rev. Max Williams officiating. KIRK Clarence E. Kirk, age 69, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Attended Concord College in WVa. Korean War Navy veteran. Member of Gates Fourth United Methodist Church. Retired from Buckeye Steel Casting Co. He is survived by his wife, Margery; sons, Richard A. Kirk and Robert W. Kirk; 3 grandchildren, Rickey, Lindsay and Elaina; great-grandson, Jacob; sisters, Joanne and Connie of Wheelersburg, Oh.; brother, Danny of Circleville; sister-in-law, Dr. Lois Zimmerman of Pickerington; numerous other relatives and friends. LEWIS Sally R. Lewis passed away quietly at her home on February 27, 2001. Sally was born in Columbus, Oh., September 15, 1937. She is a graduate of Worthington High School and Ohio University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She also attended Purdue University. Sally served for several years as office manager of her husband's medical practice. She still found the time to be an active participant in any group she joined. Her favorite activity was gardening. SHe was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Altar Guild and the Four Seasons Garden Club. Her garden was always available for public garden tours. She was twice elected president of the Auxiliary and the Academy of Medicine of Columbus and Franklin County. A longtime member of the Doctors Mayo Society. She was involved in many activities of the Mayo Alumni Association. Sally was preceded in death by her parents Morton Y. and Ruth Reeves. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald L. Lewis, M.D.; sister, Marilyn (Lee) Leprich of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sons and their wives, Stephen (Betsy) of Easley, S.C. and Jeffrey (Linda) of Portland, Oreg.; adorable grandchildren, Paisley, Emily, Mollie, Meagan and Stephen; and many close friends. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2001 and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
