STALLING Ernest M. Stalling, Sr., age 73, Tuesday February 27, 2001 at home. Member of the American Legion and VFW Post 3424. WW II Navy Veteran. Retired welder from Janitrol and a retired musician. Preceded in death by parents, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Survived by wife, Lydia; sons, Bobby and Brian of Fla. and Ernest Jr. of Columbus; daughter, Karen of Fla.; 3 grandchildren; sister, Esther Stanley of Zanesville; many nieces and nephews. TALBERT Joann Talbert, age 60, passed away February 28, 2001. Member of Greenlief Baptist Church. Survived by son, Resden S. (Lorena) Talbert; daughters, Christie (Bobby) Tilley, Dawn (Michael) Barnett, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Resden III, Emilee, Devin Talbert, Melissa Deverau, Cheyenne, Michael Jr. Barnett and Scott Talbert; brother, Michael McCarty; nieces, nephews and close friends. Friends may call at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., Friday from 5-8 p.m., where a service will be held Saturday 1 p.m. Interment Grove City Cemetery.

TERRY Zeadell Terry, age 77, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Preceded in death by husband William McKinley Terry, son James Michael Terry. Survived by daughter, Linda (Tom) Byas; step-children, Regina, Billy and Charles Terry; grandchildren, Tina, Artie, Robbie, Ruth Ann and Tommy; great-grandchildren, Katrina, Christina, Jacob and Dylan. Thompson Peggy A. Thompson, age 63, of Columbus, suddenly on Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at the residence. Survived by loving husband, Doug; daughter, Julianne Brown of Hilliard. Arrangements being completed by the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard.

TOPPING Earl Zane Topping, 67, of Plantation, Fla., formerly of South Bloomfield, Oh. A loving husband, father and grandfather went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2001. He was retired from Field Publications, formerly of Xerox Publications, where he worked for 42 years. He served 3 years in the U.S. Army. His parents Artie and Lois Toppping and sister Virginia Topping preceded him in death. His older brother, Charles Topping of Columbus, Oh. and a sister, Sue Carol Wells of Canton, Oh., survive him. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 43* years, Monnie Lucas Topping; children and spouses, Kimberly and Alan Parrina of Tampa, Fla., Diana and Michael Weber of Aventura, Fla., Sonia and Steven Bottona of Sunrise, Fla. He had 6 much loved grandchildren, Hope and Larissa Holbrook, Whitney and Chelsie Gibbs, Hayley and Heather Bottona. The family will receive friends at the REGER FUNERAL HOME, 1242 Adams Ave., Huntington, W.Va., on Thursday 6-9 p.m., where service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. Rev. Ben Dean will be officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Section of Docks Creek Cemetery.

TRACY Ardine A. Tracy, died February 26, 2001 at Broad Creek Care Center on Hilton Head Island, S.C., where she had been a resident for the past 2* years. Mrs. Tracy was born in 1906 in Columbus, Oh., where she lived most of her life. She was the daughter of Claude B. and Ina Arbogast. She graduated from St. Mary of the Springs Academy, and is past president of its alumnae. In 1928 she graduated in Home Economics from The Ohio State University where she was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority and an avid football fan. She taught Home Economics in Bucyrus, Oh. until her marriage in 1930 to Paul A. Tracy who died in 1987. Mrs. Tracy was active in many church, school and civic organizations. She was a charter member of St. Catharine's Parish and a founder and past president of the St. Catharine's Golden Age Club. The St. Charles Preparatory School Mother's Club, the Elizabethan Guild, the Childhood League, the Mt. Carmel Health Center Auxiliary, of which she was a past president, all benefitted from her services. She was also a member of the Bexley Activities Club. Survived by 3 sons, Thomas A. (married to Mary Botkin Tracy) of Hilton Head Island, S.C., P. Joseph (married to Mary Elizabeth Tracy) of Strongsville, Oh. and John C. (married to Sue O'Leary Tracy) of Jackson, MS; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Friday 2:30-4 and 7-9 p.m. at EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 403 E. Broad St. Rosary Friday 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 10:30 a.m. at St. Catharine Church, 500 S. Gould Rd. Burial St. Joseph Cemetery. Steinhausser of Marengo; grandchildren, Frank Ziegler, Kelly Kisser, Kathy Ziegler and Thomas J. Featherholf; 9 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. WEAVER Melvin "Tony" Weaver, age 54, Sunday, February 25, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Self-employed as a Mechanic. Predeceased by parents Humphrey Weaver and Ellen Young. Survived by wife, Gayle Harris Weaver; son, Anthony Weaver; daughters, Tammy Weaver, Norma Wilson, Detroit, Mich., Michele and Suzette Weaver, both of Detroit, Mich., Pamela Weaver; brother, Kenneth (Doretha) Young, Chillicothe, Oh.; sister, Diane (Terry) Hightower, Clinton Township, Mich.; brother and sisters-in-law, Frank (Bianca) Harris, Jr. of N.C., Brenda Griffin, Carolyn (Horace) Jackson, both of Columbus, Oh.; 4 grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. WELLS Ruth Eleanor Wells, age 83, Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at the residence. Preceded in death by sisters Edna Jane Wyant and Ann Ebling; brothers Charles Wells, Paul Wells and Gene Wells. Retired employee of National City Bank (Banc Ohio) after 26 years and City of Columbus Department of Vital Statistics after 7 years. Veteran of U.S. Women's Army Corps. Member of AARP, Public Employees Retirees of Franklin County and Quarter Century Club of National City Bank. Survived by brother, Jack Wells of North Fort Meyers, Fla.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Wells of Gainesville, Fla.; nephews, Shannon (Mary Jane) Wyant of Breckville, Oh., Mark (Beverly) Wells of Franklin, NC, Robert Wyant of Huntington, W.Va.; great-nieces, Susan, Jenny, Emily and Jennifer Wyant; great-nephews, Mark (Amy) Wells Jr. and Timothy Wells, both of Franklin, NC; cousin, Ella Richey Wells of Columbus; caregiver and special friend, Dorothy French and many other dear and special people to numerous to mention. WILLIAMS Leslie Max Williams, age 75, of Reynoldsburg, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2001. He served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force. Graduated from Marshall University. Retired from AT&T, was a realtor with King Thompson Realtors. Member of Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, Reynoldsburg Lodge #340 F&AM, and was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was preceded in death by his father Leonard Franklin Williams and his brother Leonard "Skip" Franklin Williams. He is survived by his wife, Catherine, to whom he was married 49 years; sons, Douglas Max (Betty) and Eric Dwight (Laura); granddaughters, Brittney and Courtney; mother, Beatrice West Bailey (Williams); brother, Curtis Ray (Christine) Williams; sisters, Margaret Ann (Phil) Wheeler and Thella Mae (Mack) Shrewsberry; aunt, Nona (Shumate) Roles. His family will receive friends Thursday 12-2 and 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg, where his funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. H. WOODEN Sister Mary Elizabeth Wooden, Thursday at Whetstone Garden Care Center. Member of Southfield Community Missionary Baptist Church. Employed for many years at the Chesapeake Snackfood Bar on Mt. Vernon Ave. Retired from National Fire Hose Co. Preceded in death by parents Charles Sr. and Odessa Jordan Zellner, brother Wiley and Matthew Zellner, sisters Martha Boyd, Odessa and Georgianna Zellner, Mildred Dodson and Emmalene Zellner. She was the mother of Sandra Wooden White, Linda D. (Les) Armstrong; grandmother of Donald White, Jill White, Sherben Gore, Lamar, Lesile and Joi Wooden; great-grandmother of 11; sister of Crarles Jr. Solomon (Hester) Zellner, Minerva Phillips, Dolly (Hosea) Bridges, Maggie (Wade) Barnett; great number of nephews, nieces, cousins, church family and many friends. Remains will rest in state after 10 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2001, Southfield Church, Fairwood and Augmont Aves. Family receiving friends 11 a.m. Service in memory honoring Sister Mary 12noon conducted by Elder K.E. Moor of New Birth Christian Ministries and other ministers. BINNS Edwin Dale "Eddie" Binns, 65, of Columbus, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 27, 2001. He was retired from the State of Ohio and was a Korean Conflict Army veteran. Eddie was a life member of VFW Post 4044 and served as Post Commander. He was also a member of American Legion Post 532. Eddie enjoyed playing cards, fishing, nature and animals. Preceded in death by his sister Hilda Adams. Eddie is survived by his mother, Marjorie Binns; children, Linda (Jim) Richards and Mike Binns; grandson, Michael Binns; his beloved Mim and her daughters, Laura and Martha and grandchildren, Amanda, Emilee, Sarah, Brett and Alex; nieces and nephews, Vicky (Tom) Pickens, Doris (Rick) Stover, Tina Adams, Debbie (Ed) Stewart, Denise (Danny) Johnson, Paul (Dottie) Adams, Cherie Baas, Lisa (Mark) Tipton and David (Sandy) Adams; cousins, Pat Harvey and children, Betty Binns and many other special family and friends.
