Survived by her 2 sons, Gary (Carolyn) Koch of N.C. and Tad (Carol) Koch of Colo.; 3 grandchildren, Jason, Jennifer and Melissa; 1 great-grandchild, Joshua. Preceded in death by her husband Dr. Justin L. Koch and parents Edgar and Burdelle Grove. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. WARREN F. LAGORE Rosemary Lagore, age 73, Thursday, March 1, 2001 at Monterey Care Center. Preceded in death by sister Hazel  Johnson and brother Herbert Kerns. Survived by children, Pat (Ken) Smith, Carol Lagore, Donna Lagore and Robert "Bob" (Kim) Lagore; grandchildren, Lauren and Robin Lagore; sister, Jane Frazier; nieces and nephews. Funeral service 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 3 at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 W. Broad St., where friends may call 6-8 p.m. Friday. Pastor Greg Bondurant officiating. LEWIS Sally R. Lewis passed away quietly at her home on February 27, 2001. Sally was born in Columbus, Oh., September 15, 1937. She is a graduate of Worthington High School and Ohio University where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi. She also attended Purdue University. Sally served for several years as office manager of her husband's medical practice. She still found the time to be an active participant in any group she joined. Her favorite activity was gardening. SHe was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Altar Guild and the Four Seasons Garden Club. Her garden was always available for public garden tours. She was twice elected president of the Auxiliary and the Academy of Medicine of Columbus and Franklin County. A longtime member of the Doctors Mayo Society. She was involved in many activities of the Mayo Alumni Association. Sally was preceded in death by her parents Morton Y. and Ruth Reeves. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Donald L. Lewis, M.D.; sister, Marilyn (Lee) Leprich of Grand Rapids, Mich.; sons and their wives, Stephen (Betsy) of Easley, S.C. and Jeffrey (Linda) of Portland, Oreg.; adorable grandchildren, Paisley, Emily, Mollie, Meagan and Stephen; and many close friends. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, March 1, 2001 and 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 3, 2001 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1581 Cambridge Blvd. Entombment Union Cemetery Mausoleum. Dr. J. Frank Luchsinger officiating. MANIS Senora Manis (Crow) peacefully passed away on February 23, 2001. She was a very loving and special person with a heart of gold. Preceded in death by her parents and 3 brothers. Survived by loving brother, Sidney Bell; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousin, John Dana Dearmin; special friend, Tucker. Celebration of life service will be held Saturday March 3, 2001 at 10 a.m. at the Chapel of M. J. K.  Jones FUNERAL SERVICE, 3150 E. Livingston Ave. with the Rev. M. J. K.  Jones officiating. MELSOP Juanita K. Melsop, 84, 6510 Red Fern Place, Columbus, Tuesday, February 27, 2001 at University Hospital. Widow of James B. Melsop. Survived by sons, B. Glenn (Irma) Melsop of Columbus, J. William (Sandra) Melsop of Cleveland, Oh.; daughter, Kay (Glenn) Eckfeld of Dublin, Oh.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Jean Bishop of Columbus. MILLER "But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions. It is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages He might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in His kindness to us in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:4-7). On Tuesday, February 27, 2001, Stephen T. Miller, age 26, was taken home to be with his Heavenly Father where he heard the words, "Well done my good and faithful servant." Steve was a member of The Redeemer's Church. He was a graduate of Gahanna-Lincoln High School and The Ohio State University (1998). On September 18, 1999, he married Melissa (Wolfinger) Miller. Along with his loving and devoted wife, he is survived by his parents, Richard and Phyllis Miller; brother, Brian Miller; sister, Tracy Miller; grandmothers, Catherine Miller and Carolyn Limina; father-in-law, Ronald Wolfinger and wife, Dottie; mother-in-law, Chari Caton and husband, Michael; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 3 at The Redeemer's Church, 1850 Courtright Rd., Columbus, where family will receive friends Friday 6:30-8:30 p.m., as well as one hour prior to the service on Saturday. MILLER Mary Ellen (Weaver) Miller, age 86, of Hilliard, Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. A graduate of Hilliard High School, Class of 1932, where she was a member of the Franklin County (now National) Honor Society and in 1987 became the first inductee into the Hilliard High School Hall of Fame. Attended Ohio Wesleyan University for 2 years, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha (Panhellenic). A 1936 graduate of The Ohio State University receiving a BS in Social Administration, starting her career as a ward nurse at Columbus State Hospital. In 1938 became a head nurse receiving a degree in practical psychiatric nursing. In 1940 received BS in Education from The Ohio State University and was a high school teacher of Social Studies, English and Latin in Sparta, Oh., and in 1941 became a high school teacher of Social Studies and Latin for Dublin High School. In 1944 worked for the Pupil Personnel Department at Columbus Public Schools as a Social Worker. In 1950 was inducted into Delta Kappa Gamma (Teacher's Honorary). In 1970 retired from the Columbus Public Schools and was recognized by Staff of Juvenile Division of the Probate Court as an Outstanding Juvenile Worker. From 1945 until his death in 1988, Mary was married to Floyd A. Miller. She is also preceded in death by her sister Peg Weaver, parents James H. and Mae Latham Weaver and brother James Weaver. A life member of Local, State and National Retired Teachers Associations, OSU and OWU Alumni Associations, Local and State Historical Societies, Hilliard Arts Council, Rails to Trail Coalition, Darby Creek Association. Lifelong member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church, where she served on Administrative Board and as President of the Hilliard United Methodist Women from 1957 to 1960; also from 1960 to 1966 held the office of Treasurer. O.E.S. Level Chapter 109, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Charter and life member of the Northwest Franklin County Historical Society, member and later became treasurer of Salvation Army Women's of Franklin and Delaware Counties Auxiliary; member of Daughters of American Revolutions; author of Hilliard United Methodist Church History and also served on many committees presenting an impact on both her church and many community affairs. In 1982 she received the Award of Achievement by the Ohio Association of Historical Societies & Museums. A recipient of the Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Galbreath Award for contributions to the community in 1989; a member of the Hilliard Senior Center where she was inducted into the Hilliard Senior Hall of Fame. In 1991 was given the Mayor's Award for outstanding service to the Hilliard community thus making her the Official City Historian. Survived by brother, Paul Weaver of Hayward, Calif.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard. Pastors James A. Riggs and James E. Waugh officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northwest Franklin County Historical Society, 4162 Avery Rd., Hilliard, Oh. 43026.

MOSS Richard A. Moss, 64, died Thursday, March 1, 2001. He is survived by loving wife, Mary Chloe; daughter, Shelley H. Moss; son, Richard A. (Daina) Moss; grandchildren, Derrik, Kirk, Madelyn, and Alec Moss; mother, Ruby Moss; mother-in-law, Ethel Salts; sister, Shelia Hall; sister-in-law, Faye Moss; brother-in-law, Roger Salts; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by father Paul; brother Jim; father-in-law Ed. He retired after 20 years as 1st Sgt. in the USMC and after 23 years at Flxible as a supervisor. Family will receive friends Sunday, March 4, 2001, 2-4 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road. A graveside service and interment Arlington National Cemetery.

McKINLEY Richard "Dick" McKinley, age 87, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2001 after a lengthy illness with Parkinson's Disease. Born in Brookville, Pa. on April 26, 1913. Resided in Reynoldsburg for 41 year. Survived by wife of 51 years, Dorothy Meany McKinley; children and grandchildren, Dick, Pattie and Troy and Ashley McKinley, Dorothy, Tim and Joshua, Lara and Alexis Cartwright, Mary, Billy Jack and Christine Keyser, Bill, Ilona and Clay and Zachary McKinley, Teresa, Tim and Jacob and Rachel Krebs, Arthur, Susan and Mark and Megan McKinley, Debra McKinley, John, Sandy and Victoria and Nicholas McKinley, Michael McKinley; and several cousins. Retired engineer from Rockwell International. He was a U.S. Navy Lieutenant, Veteran of WW II serving 3* years. Dick was an avid college football fan, especially his alumnus Alabama Crimson Tide and Michigan Wolverines. Our special thanks to the nurses, caregivers and staff of the Wesley Ridge Special Care Unit for the care and attention given to him while under their care for 2 years. Thanks to Dr. Fred Worley, his physician of many years. His family will receive friends Friday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the COTNER FUNERAL HOME, 7369 E. Main St., Reynoldsburg. Cremation and private memorial service to follow. Donations may be made to the America Parkinson's Association.

ORTMAN William W. Ortman, age 80, of Columbus, Oh., passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, having attained the rank of M.Sgt. He served during WW II in N. Africa, Italy and France. After many years of civil service with D.C.S.C. and H.U.D. he retired to Lakeland, Fla. where he enjoyed 15 years of golf. He was preceded in death by his sister Florence Moore and his grandson Brent Graney. Survived by children, Stephen W. (Lani) Ortman, Timothy J. (Margo) Ortman, Sandra (Thomas) Kujawa, Mary Beth (Maurice) Lundrigan, Christopher (Sarah) Ortman and Connie Graney; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jane Shurmer and Irene Lockman; brother, Jack E. Ortman; other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday 6:30-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, as well as Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Evan Wall officiating. PAOLINI Laura Evelyn Paolini, age 91, Thursday Traditions at Stygler Road. Preceded in death by parents Luigi and Philomena-Monaco Tiberi, brothers Daniel, Dominic and Edward Tiberi, sister Clara De Santis. Also 1st husband Frank Tiberi, 2nd husband Andrew Paolini. She was the 1st Vice President of the S.F.I. Auxiliary. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel J. and Deborah Paolini, Robert A. and Betty Paolini; grandchildren, Laurie, Daniel and Patricia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and John Patterson, Marcella and Lloyd Glaze, Delta and Carmelo Tiberi; sister-in-law, Midge Tiberi; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. PATTON Jane Amelia Patton, born March 14, 1915 in Johnstown, Pa., passed away February 27, 2001. Preceded in death by husband Albert E. Patton. Survived by son, David (Norma) Patton of Columbus; grandson, Scott (Kathy) Patton of Westerville; nieces, Clara Nassir, Josephine Comtess and Helen Henderson; great-nieces, Susan Comtess, Janie Walsh, Katie Walsh, Faith and Karey Comtess; nephew, Gregg Comtess; and many nieces and nephews. PINCHOT Richard Lee "Rick" Pinchot, age 54, passed away suddenly February 27, 2001. Employed with Anheuser Busch for many years and was a former teacher with Columbus Public Schools. Graduate of Youngstown State University, B.A. Preceded in death by parents Michael and Mary Pinchot. Survived by daughter, Jaime Lee Pinchot; brother, James (Mary Ellen) Pinchot of Youngstown; a very special friend, Ellen Underwood; nephews, Brian (Kathy) and Robert (Rebecca) Pinchot; nieces, Rachel and Rebecca; numerous other relatives and dear friends. PLESSE Emma M. Plesse, age 100, a 6 year resident of St. Raphael's Home For The Aged, died Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at St. Raphael's. She was born January 7, 1901 in Berlichingen, Germany, the daughter of August and Ernestine Baierschmidt. Survived by her daughter, Mary Hossinger, Lakeland, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Al and Jeanne Plesse, Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughters, Heidi Hossinger, Dublin and Deborah (Walter) McKinney, Lakeland, Fla.; great-grandsons, Chad (Sarah) McKinney, Columbus and Jeremy (Jennifer) McKinney, Orlando, Fla. She was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. She was a member of St. Michael Parish.
