Survived by wife, Opal; daughter, Joyce (Michael) Wolfe of Chillicothe; son, John (Judy) Kiser of Columbus; 3 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brother, James Kiser of Pataskala; nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at the O.R. WOODYARD CO. CHAPEL, 1346 S. High St., where the funeral service will be conducted by Pastor James Holbrook Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Obetz Cemetery.

KUDER Louise S. Kuder, age 94, March 1, 2001, Kobacker House. Arrangements being completed by WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 268-3593.

KUNO James W. "Jim" Kuno, age 79, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2001 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. James was the owner and operator of the Kuno Gulf Service Stations in Grove City from 1960 until his retirement in 1986. He was an Army Veteran of WW II and was awarded two Purple Hearts. His memberships are the First Presbyterian Church and life member of American Legion Paschall Post 164 and VFW Post 8198, all of Grove City and a former member of the Grove City Kiwanis Club. Preceded in death by parents William L. and Grace M. (James) Kuno and step-father Carl Barker. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Edna; sons, Jim (Rose) Kuno of Grove City, Bob Kuno and Robyn Cremeans of Columbus, Carl (Marsheleen) Kuno of Grove City; daughters, Kay (Ian) McGregor of MA, Ruth (Billy) Zemo of IN and Marcia (Mark) Cremeans of Columbus; grandchildren, Shelley, Jamie, Nathan and Andrew Kuno, Iain, Derek, Kyle, Sean McGregor, Justin Zemo; special cousins, Lucille Williams and Dick Frost; and many other relatives. Visitation is Sunday 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Funeral Monday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Pastor James Moran officiating. Interment in Concord Cemetery. LEUCHTER Rosemary Forsyth Leuchter, age 82, of Upper Arlington, died Thursday, March 1, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. She retired as Head of the English Department at West High School retiring in 1983. She is survived by her daughter, Johanna (Candace Corrigan, Ph.D.) Leuchter, D.O. of Austin, MN.; son, Fred (Virginia) Leuchter of Greeley, CO.; grandchildren, Keith and Jane Leuchter; sister, Ruth Forsyth of Upper Arlington. She was a 1935 graduate of Alexandria High School and received a Bachelor's Degree from Denison University, 1939. She served in the U.S. Medical Corps during WW II, then served as a field representative for the American Red Cross. Rosemary received a Masters Degree from Columbia University in corrective physical therapy and a Masters Degree from The Ohio State University in English. She was a physical therapist at Baltimore City Hospital and at Children's Hospital in Columbus. Her love of education carried her to The Ohio State University where she was an Assistant Professor of English. She was the first woman portal worker at Ohio Stadium for OSU Football games. She was an active member of Mountview Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a former moderator. She was active at the Upper Arlington Senior Center. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, March 4, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Road. Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2001 at Mountview Baptist Church, 2140 Fishinger Road (at Mountview). Dr. Carl Brown Officiating. Interment Maple Grove Cemetery, Alexandria, Oh. on Tuesday. LYNN Juanita Clifford Lynn "Skeeter," 67, of Delaware, died March 2, 2001 at her residence. She was born January 5, 1934 in Delaware, Oh. to Byron and Mabel (Williams) Clifford. She was a lifelong Delaware resident and was retired from National City Bank. She was also a longtime employee of Bennett Brown Rodman Funeral Home. She is survived by 2 daughters, Debra (George) Hoffman of Westerville, Oh. and Candi Meade of Sunbury, Oh.; 4 sisters, Joyce (Gene) Hayner and Mary Jo (Charles) Hurdzan, both of Westerville, Carolyn (Cliff) Reiss of Wis. and Janet (Ron) Poulton of Delaware; 3 grandchildren, Brian, Karrie and Nelson; also by a close friend, Mark Bauer. Friends may call Sunday, March 4, 2001 from 12:30-2 p.m. at BENNETT BROWN RODMAN FUNERAL HOME, Delaware, where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Trout officiating. MARSHALL Margaret Marshall, age 88, at home. Our special angel went home on Thursday, March 1, 2001. Retired St. Ladislas Cafeteria. Preceded in death by husband Warren, son Larry Marshall and grandson Tommy Marshall. Survived by daughters and son, Marilyn Browning, William (Patricia) Marshall, Patty (Michael) Straight, Carol Ray; daughter-in-law, Alice Marshall; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 4 brothers; 2 sisters; many nieces, nephews and friends, including special friend, Sr. Wilma of St. Ladislas Church. MARTIN Robert E. Martin, 72, died Thursday, March 2, 2001 at The O.S.U. Medical Center. He was retired from Battelle Memorial Institute as a Mechanical Technician. He is preceded in death by father Orville. He is survived by mother, Doris Martin; sons, Randall E. (Patricia) Martin and Craig R. (Connie) Martin; daughters, Christy (Jim) Terry and Robin Mead; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; aunt, Mary Newlove; and cousins. William (Sandra) Melsop of Cleveland, Oh.; daughter, Kay (Glenn) Eckfeld of Dublin, Oh.; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Jean Bishop of Columbus. MILES (BLAIR) Pernilla Mae Blair Miles, age 84, went home to be with the Lord Monday February 26, 2001, St. Ann's Hospital. Member of New Faith Baptist Church of Christ, Mother's Board, Parish Worker, Missionary Society and former Treasurer of the Sunday Schooll. Former member of O.E.S. Faith Chapter #9 and the American Woodsmen. Predeceased by parents Mack and Estella Miller Blair, husband Herbert Coleman, sons Ralph Leon, Alvin Eugene and Shedrick Miles, daughters Arie Perkins and Mary Louise Tolliver, 8 sisters and 1 brother. Survived by daughters, Wanda Payne, Letitia Russell; son, Roderick (Michelle) Coleman; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Margaret Berry Lanier; special nephew, Russell Erby; special friend, Sheila Smith; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. MILLER Mary Ellen (Weaver) Miller, age 86, of Hilliard, Wednesday, February 28, 2001 at St. Ann's Hospital. A graduate of Hilliard High School, Class of 1932, where she was a member of the Franklin County (now National) Honor Society and in 1987 became the first inductee into the Hilliard High School Hall of Fame. Attended Ohio Wesleyan University for 2 years, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha (Panhellenic). A 1936 graduate of The Ohio State University receiving a BS in Social Administration, starting her career as a ward nurse at Columbus State Hospital. In 1938 became a head nurse receiving a degree in practical psychiatric nursing. In 1940 received BS in Education from The Ohio State University and was a high school teacher of Social Studies, English and Latin in Sparta, Oh., and in 1941 became a high school teacher of Social Studies and Latin for Dublin High School. In 1944 worked for the Pupil Personnel Department at Columbus Public Schools as a Social Worker. In 1950 was inducted into Delta Kappa Gamma (Teacher's Honorary). In 1970 retired from the Columbus Public Schools and was recognized by Staff of Juvenile Division of the Probate Court as an Outstanding Juvenile Worker. From 1945 until his death in 1988, Mary was married to Floyd A. Miller. She is also preceded in death by her sister Peg Weaver, parents James H. and Mae Latham Weaver and brother James Weaver. A life member of Local, State and National Retired Teachers Associations, OSU and OWU Alumni Associations, Local and State Historical Societies, Hilliard Arts Council, Rails to Trail Coalition, Darby Creek Association. Lifelong member of the Hilliard United Methodist Church, where she served on Administrative Board and as President of the Hilliard United Methodist Women from 1957 to 1960; also from 1960 to 1966 held the office of Treasurer. O.E.S. Level Chapter 109, Ladies Oriental Shrine, Charter and life member of the Northwest Franklin County Historical Society, member and later became treasurer of Salvation Army Women's of Franklin and Delaware Counties Auxiliary; member of Daughters of American Revolutions; author of Hilliard United Methodist Church History and also served on many committees presenting an impact on both her church and many community affairs. In 1982 she received the Award of Achievement by the Ohio Association of Historical Societies & Museums. A recipient of the Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Galbreath Award for contributions to the community in 1989; a member of the Hilliard Senior Center where she was inducted into the Hilliard Senior Hall of Fame. In 1991 was given the Mayor's Award for outstanding service to the Hilliard community thus making her the Official City Historian. Survived by brother, Paul Weaver of Hayward, Calif.; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. Friends may call 7-9 p.m. Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard. Pastors James A. Riggs and James E. Waugh officiating. ORTMAN William W. Ortman, age 80, of Columbus, Oh., passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2001. Bill was a Veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force, having attained the rank of M.Sgt. He served during WW II in N. Africa, Italy and France. After many years of civil service with D.C.S.C. and H.U.D. he retired to Lakeland, Fla. where he enjoyed 15 years of golf. He was preceded in death by his sister Florence Moore and his grandson Brent Graney. Survived by children, Stephen W. (Lani) Ortman, Timothy J. (Margo) Ortman, Sandra (Thomas) Kujawa, Mary Beth (Maurice) Lundrigan, Christopher (Sarah) Ortman and Connie Graney; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Jane Shurmer and Irene Lockman; brother, Jack E. Ortman; other relatives and friends. Friends may call Friday 6:30-8 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., Columbus, as well as Saturday from 2-3 p.m. Funeral service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Evan Wall officiating. PAOLINI Laura Evelyn Paolini, age 91, Thursday Traditions at Stygler Road. Preceded in death by parents Luigi and Philomena-Monaco Tiberi, brothers Daniel, Dominic and Edward Tiberi, sister Clara De Santis. Also 1st husband Frank Tiberi, 2nd husband Andrew Paolini. She was the 1st Vice President of the S.F.I. Auxiliary. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Daniel J. and Deborah Paolini, Robert A. and Betty Paolini; grandchildren, Laurie, Daniel and Patricia; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and John Patterson, Marcella and Lloyd Glaze, Delta and Carmelo Tiberi; sister-in-law, Midge Tiberi; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the JOHN QUINT & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1177 West Fifth Avenue. S.F.I. POTTER Claire L. Potter, age 80, of Columbus, Oh., formerly of New Lexington, Oh., died 4:15 a.m. Friday, March 2, 2001 at Whetstone Care Center, Columbus, Oh. Born May 29, 1920 in New Lexington, Oh. Mrs. Potter moved to Columbus in 1950 and was a bookkeeper for Longs Book Store, Columbus, Oh. Survived by daughter, Jean (Jim) Williams of Alexandria; son, Sandy (Pat) Potter of Phoenix, Ariz.; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband Sanford Potter, parents Paul H. and Edna Nader Sears, sister Jacqueline Buckley. REAM Ethel L. Ream, 97, of Friendship Village, Columbus, formerly of Somerset, went to be with the Lord Friday morning, March 2, 2001 at the health center. Ethel was born March 10, 1903 in Uhrichsville, Oh., the daughter of the late H.L. and Eva Billingsley Wardell. She was a member of the Somerset United Methodist Church, Mothers Study Club and was a former member of O.E.S. Chapter 156. She was an active artist after the age of 60, having features in various magazines and shows. Surviving are 4 sons, Thomas and Ruth Ream of Junction City, Walter J. and Joan Ream of Ind., David W. Ream of Lancaster and Donald M. and Judy Ream of Fla; 2 daughters, Betty Jean Jenkins of Fla. and Lois Mae and Don Burbacher of Columbus; 27 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 22 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death, in addition to her parents, by her husband of 38 years, whom she married November 25, 1922, Dr. Thomas William Ream, D.D.S., November 14, 1960, 1 grandson, 1 great-grandson, 2 brothers Lewis and Harold Wardell. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2001 at the BOPE-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME in Somerset, where service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2001 with Rev. Ralph Bauserman officiating. Burial will be in Somerset Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Somerset United Methodist Church.
