Visitation Tuesday 6-8 p.m. at MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus St., Grove City. Graveside Service Wednesday 10 a.m., Green Lawn Cemetery.

DAVIS Virginia "Ginny" M. Davis, 59, of London, died Friday in Madison County Hospital. Survived by daughters, Paula Smith, Jackie (Tony) Tinker, all of Columbus, Shelia Davis of Del Ray Beach, Fla. and Tara Davis of London; sons, James (Brigitte) Davis of Columbus, Jeff (Samantha) Davis of Powell and Jason Davis of London; 17 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brothers, Albert (Pat) Scales of Xenia, Ernie Scales of Columbus and Bill (Jill) Scales of Monroe, NC; sisters, Eva (Irvin) Douglass of Columbus, Helen "Tubbi" (Donald) Johns of London and Doris (Moe) Favorito of Dublin; brother-in-law, Paul (Sarah) Davis of Columbus; special friends, Carol Scales and Patty Veeley; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in the First Baptist Church of London with Pastor Joseph Young officiating. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, London. Friends may call at the EBERLE FUNERAL HOME, London from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials to the First Baptist Church of London or to Madison County Home Health Hospice.

DILLION Eldon Dillion, 90, of Mechanicsburg, died Saturday, in the Arbors at London Nursing Home. Survived by sons, Vernon (Janet) Dillion, and Alan (Janet) Dillion, all of London, and David (Pam) Dillion of Mechanicsburg; 9 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Howard Dillion and sister Betty Boughn, both of London; several nieces and nephews and many dear friends. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in the London Church of Christ in Christian Union with Reverand Lee Stanley officiating. Interment in Deercreek Township Cemetery, Lafayette. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Memorials to the London Church of Christ in Christian Union. The family is being served by the EBERLE FUNERAL HOME, London.

DUVALL Mary Famah Duvall, 89, died peacefully at her home in Ashville March 3, 2001. She was born September 30, 1911, the sixth of seven children to Clinton and Mary Teegardin of Ashville. Mary was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church where she was active in the Deborah Circle. She attended Denison University and graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Home Economics. While there she was a member of the Delta Gamma Sorority. Although she held various professional positions, her life was dedicated to her family, many friends and her church. Those who knew her loved her as a kind and gentle woman who took joy in giving to and helping others. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband William; daughter Mary Ann; brothers Paul, Frank, Dwight and Glenn Teegardin and sister Ruth Pelton. She is survived by her sons, Andrew (Carol) Duvall of South Lyon, Michigan and Thomas (Barbara) Duvall of Strongsville, Ohio; grandchildren Joel (Angela) Duvall of Dayton, Beth (Lee) Petty of Key West; great grandchildren Sarah and Timothy Petty; and sister Grace McGill of Columbus. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 7 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church with interment following at Reber Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call at the OLIVER FUNERAL HOME from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 6. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Pickaway County or to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Ashville, Ohio.

DeVICTOR Albert R. "Juggie" DeVictor, age 80, Saturday, March 3, 2001. WWII Army veteran, 2nd Lieutenant. He participated in all the European Campaigns and was decorated with Purple Heart, Bronze Star, and Bronze Leaf Cluster. Retired from Big Bear Stores. Former member of St. Andrews Church. Preceded in death by parents Guy and Donata DeVictor; brother Sam, Duke, Harold, and Robert DeVictor. Survived by wife, Evelyn; daughter, Phillis (Tony) Bull of Cincinnati; sons, Sam (Gretchen) DeVictor, Cleveland, Guy (Kathleen) DeVictor of Galena; nine grandchildren; sisters, Margaret (Edward) Lombardo, Yola Bruce and Donna (Don) Veri; many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Friends received Monday 5-9 p.m. at the MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI FUNERAL HOME, 1068 S. High St. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday 10:30 a.m., Our Mother of Sorrow Chapel, 6440 S. High St. Entombment St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum. Rev. Fr. William H. DeVille, Celebrant. Family and friends will form a procession at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. for the Funeral Mass. ELIN Michael Elin, age 81, of Bexley, Friday, March 2, 2001 at Whetstone Care Center. He was an Engineer with Rockwell International and the State of Ohio. Member of the first graduation class of Jacksonville NAS in 1941. Veteran of World War II. Navy Fighter Pilot stationed on the Carrier Wasp until sunk by enemy torpedoes. He then served various assignments including Ferry Command at Port Columbus until the end of the war obtaining the rank of Lieutenant Commander. After the war, Michael served as Assistant Naval Attache in Moscow then as Naval Attache in Poland. He returned to Virginia graduating from Virginia Tech with a Masters Degree in Architectural Engineering. Member of Christ Lutheran Church and Junior Chamber of Commerce in Blacksburg, Va. Preceded in death by parents Michael and Iraida Elin, son Christopher Elin, grandson Alexander Rogers, brothers Nicholas Elin and Kronid Elin, and beloved pets Tamara, Boris, Rocky, and Penny. Survived by wife of 56 years, Jean Elin; children, Michael (Karen) Elin, Jennifer Elin and Christina (Scott) Rogers; grandchildren, Juliane and Eric Elin and Alexandra Rogers. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, 2001 at Christ Lutheran Church, 2314 East Main Street, Bexley. Pastors Thomas L. Hudson and Sarah D. Talley officiating. Friends may call Sunday, 1-5 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER STATE STREET CHAPEL, and * hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lutheran Social Services, 750 E. FLESCH Rose Flesch, age 70, died Saturday, March 3, 2001 at Kobacker House. She was a Franklin County School bus driver for MRDD for 31 years. She is survived by her children, Rick (Sarah) Flesch and Karen (Steve) Martin; grandchildren, Rachel and Emily Flesch, Ryan and Jennifer Martin; siblings Grace Heath, Hazel Garrett, Ranson "Jr" Marcum, Jess Willard Marcum and Janice Willard; numerous nieces, nephews and many friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel Flesch; sister Sadie Ratliff. Family will receive friends Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Road where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice at Riverside and Grant, 3535 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43214 in her memory

GROVER William Michael Grover, 20, March 2, 2001. Survived by his parents, Jim and Kathi Grover; sister, Shelly (John) Bennett; grandparents; uncles; aunts; cousins and many friends. No visitation. HELMICK (NEWHOUSE) Evalyn L. Helmick, nee Funk, Saturday, March 3, 2001 at the Forum at Knightsbridge following a long illness. She was born on March 17, 1916 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania . She came to Columbus with her husband, Carl F. Newhouse, and two daughters in 1946. After the death of her husband in 1954, she was associated with City National Bank (BankOne) at the time of the opening of their first east Columbus office. She was preceded in death by her husband Claude P. Helmick in 1964. Mrs. Helmick was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She was a past president of Childhood League Board II, a past president of the Columbus Scholarship Board, a member of the Twigs of Childrens Hospital, Grant Hospital Women's Board and Buckeye Ranch Auxiliary. She was a former member of Columbus Country Club. Mrs. Helmick is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Carol and Ivor H. Young and Kathie and Dr. Stephen J. DeVoe; grandchildren, Anne Y. Gerlach, Jane Y.  Jackson (Walter), of Wyckoff, New Jersey, Sara H. Young, Robert E. Mathews III, of Lexington, Kentucky, and Margaret M. Freytag (Gavin); great-grandchildren, James M., Hilary Jane and Alison Young Gerlach,  Taylor Anne, Avery June, Ivor Young  Jackson and Robert E. Mathews IV. Private graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at Glen Rest Memorial Estates. HOLSTEIN Hailey Holstein, 7, of Grove City passed away, Friday, March 2, 2001 at Children's Hospital. Our one and only Little Angel, Hailey Kendra went to heaven to be with her first grandma Rings (Betty Lou) who she always wished she could have known. Hailey was born on February 23, 1994 in Columbus. She was a first grader at Beautiful Savior Ev. Lutheran School and she enjoyed gymnastics at Reflections. She went suddenly and very unexpectedly after suffering a series of strokes on March 2 one week after celebrating her 7th birthday. She is survived by her parents, who absolutely adored her, Tim and Susan; Loving Grandparents, Don and Mary Rings, Sandy Holstein "Florida Grandma", Pat Gentile and Richard Holstein; special aunts and uncles, Dave and Cathy Stamman, Teresa Barry "Aunt Sissy", Aunt Dana Steinbrink "Uncle Dana", Dan Rings "Uncle Dude", Jonathan Gentile "Uncle Johnny", Jeff and Dawn Milanovich, Ralph and Dina Moore, and Uncle to be Eric Thorla; best cousins, Lindsey Steinbrink, Kaleigh Barry and Dalton Normoyle, Garrett, Tony, Ryan, Alyssa, Paige, Baby Emily and Jason; cousins to be Danny and Andrea. Best friends, Ruffles, Lacey and Bubbles; and Amber McFann, Brittany Woodard, Jessi "Jessin" Arrasmith, Mallory Wilson, Sam Wessel and Wesley Towne. KELLY John A. Kelly, 81, Soldier of Salvation Army Citadel. Promoted to Glory March 4, rejoining his beloved wife of 51 years Mary M. Kelly. Survived by sons, John A. Kelly II, William (Beverly) Kelly, Timothy A. Kelly; daughters Patricia (Samuel) Davis, Donna J. Kelly; former daughter-in-law, Cindy Kelly; sister, Iva Robson, Lucille Newland, Virginia Ross, and Jean Collins; eight grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren. Retired from The Ohio Historical Society. KUDER Louise Schwenkbeck Kuder, age 94, died Thursday, March 1, 2001 at Kobacker House in Columbus, Ohio, Born in Town of Porter, Ny., she was the daughter of the late Jakob Schwenkbeck and Margaret Hosbach. She graduated from Niagra Falls High School in 1922 and worked at E.I. Dupont in Niagra Falls, Ny. In 1928 she married the Rev. John H.F. Kuder who was a Lutheran pastor in Hanover, Ont. They were missionaries in Papua, New Guinea from 1934 until their retirement in 1974. Louise is preceded in death by her husband; and sister Marie Schwenkbeck. She is survived by sons, John (Iris) of Lewiston, Ny., Paul (Edna) of Reynoldsburg, Oh., James (Susan) of Fanwood, NJ.; daughter, Maryanne (John) Friend of Plain City, Oh.; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. Friends may call Monday, March 5 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the WEIR-AREND FUNERAL HOME, 4221 N. High St. (3 blocks S. of Henderson Rd.). Service will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. at North Community Lutheran Church, 114 Morse Rd., Pastor John Kindsvatter officiating. Interment St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Bengholtz, Ny. LENNON John W. Lennon, age 83, of Columbus, died Friday, March 2, 2001 at his home. He was a retired ceramic engineer from Battelle Memorial Institute following over 30 years. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Jane Belisle Lennon; and the father of 7 children and 4 grandchildren, John T. Lennon, Columbus, Kathleen Everett, Toledo, Oh., Bob Lennon and Mike Lennon, both of Columbus, Elizabeth (Henry) Kraft, Indianapolis, Ind., Jeanne Lennon, Columbus, and Richard (Emily) Lennon, Rhode Island; grandchildren, Stacie O'Kane, Matt O'Kane, Craig Lennon and John Kraft. He was a member of St. Timothy Parish and the American Ceramic Society. John was also an avid tennis and bridge player.
