MILLER Lloyd Miller Sr., age 72, died March 3, 2001 at Kobacker House, Columbus, with wife and family by his side. Born November 15, 1928 in Wooster, Ohio, to the late Noah and Elizabeth (Shetler) Miller. Retired Virginia Homes and 30 year member Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1167, Delaware. Preceded in death sons Patrick Miller, Larry Miller; 4 grandchildren. Survived by wife of 35 years, Norma (Penwell) Miller; sons, Michael W. (Diane) Miller, Christiansburg, Terry (Julie) Miller, Plain City, Lloyd Jr. (Amy) Miller, Plain City; brothers, Raymond (Daisy) Miller, Plain City, Weldon (Mary) Miller, London, Jim Miller, Kentucky; sister, Irene Foulk, Plain City; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2001 at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME where family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday. Interment Deer Creek Cemetery, Lafayette, Ohio. MOSLEY Elijah Mosley, 92. Went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 2, 2001 at We Care Health Care. Survived by sons, Lamar (Rosetta) Mosley and Charles (Bessie) Mosley; daughter, Ramona M. Wilson all of Columbus; brothers, Edison (Jessie Mae) Mosley of NY and Samuel (Bessie) Mosley of Conway SC; sister, Addie S. (John) Butler of Chester, PA; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. MURTHA Hedwig J. Murtha, age 99, of Columbus, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2001, at the Laurels of Norworth Nursing Home. She had been a member of St. Catherine Church and of the St. Catherine Golden Age Club. Past member of the Ohio State University Mother's Club and of the American Legion Auxiliary. Widow of Thomas E. Murtha. Survived by daughter and son-in-law Johanna and Timothy W. White of Columbus; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Thomas Perone; sister-in-law, Amelia Bangert; nieces Marjorie Waggener, Kay (Robert) Fothergill, Mary Jane (Leon) Skybo, Lizette (Michael) Bacon, and Julie (Charles) Beale; nephews, Adam (Judy) Bangert and T. BOYD Violet "Vi" Huber Boyd, age 81, of Circleville, formerly of 91 Maplewood Ave., Columbus, passed away March 3, 2001, at Pickaway Manor. Born July 27, 1919, in Russellton, Pa., the daughter of John and Sara Cooper. Graduate of Mifflin High School Class of 1937, member National Honor Society, retired medical secretary of Whitehall Medical Center, lifetime member Whitehall Post #8794 VFW, past president and past vice-president Moca Auxiliary #40, fund chairman Moca Auxiliary #40, member Whitehall Senior Citizens. Also known as the Bake Sale Lady. Survived by daughters, Linda (Gene) Godwin of Circleville, Luann (Vaughn) Smith of Palmetto, Fl.; son, Tom Huber of Pataskala; 10 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; preceded in death by daughter-in-law Judy Huber, brothers and sisters. CAPRETTA Celeste Capretta, November 16, 1912 - March 4, 2001. Celeste joins his wife of 56 years Thelma (O'Rourke); his mother and father Dominic and Laurette; sister Helen (Edward) Monette; sister-in-law Gerry Capretta; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law John (Helen) O'Rourke, Marie (Clifford) Bowser, Louis O'Rourke, Elizabeth O'Rourke, Rose (Thomas) Holt. He leaves his sons and daughters-in-law Donald and Marilyn and Daniel and Diane Capretta; brother Alphonse Carpretta; sister-in-law Ann O'Rourke; grandchildren Tony (Melanie), Annette, Diane (Donal) Mulligan, Jim (Claire), Karen, Danielle (Norman) Wegrzyn, Michael, Dominic and Darcie; 13 great-grandchildren. Celeste was a graduate of Holy Family High School. He retired after many years in the grocery business and later as an employee of the law firm Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease. He was a founding member of the K of C Council 2898, a fifty year member of St. Mary Magdalene Church and a past member of Seton Square choral group. COGHLAN Charles H. "Charly" Coghlan, 93, Delaware, Sunday, March 4, 2001, Delaware Court. Born July 1, 1907 in Buffalo, NY to the late Edward and Sarah Hogan Coghlan. Graduate St. Bonaventure University. Retired 1971 as President of Ohio Medical Indemnity. Member of St. Mary Church. Charly enjoyed humor and liked to share his interest in history and American civics. Survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy Pineau Coghlan; son, Charles J. (Debbie) Coghlan, Powell; daughter, Sheila Rohrbach, Raleigh, NC; 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
