Born March 12, 1952 in Columbus, died suddenly Thursday, February 1, 2001 in his home with his loving wife and daughter at his side. He was a 1970 graduate of Mohawk High School. He began his Navy career August 6, 1970, stationed at Key West, Fla. He was currently an AO1 at the time of his accident that forced his early disability retirement on February 6, 1986. At that time he also attended Florida Keys Community College. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamela Stepp Cutler; daughter, Ashleigh Danielle Jaelyn Cutler; son, Richard Joseph Cutler. Other special relatives aunt, Juanita Cutler Rice; brother-in-law, Daniel L. Hunton and friend Shelly Buxton; niece, Brooke Hunton; mother-in-law, Mary C. Hunton, all of Columbus; cousins, Terry Cutler, of Plain City, Oh., Marian Howard; nephew, Timmy L. Howard and family, both of Piketon, Oh.; mother, Virginia Rittenhouse Cutler; the Dotters, Berning, and Berthold nieces and nephews. Special friends Ronald L. Hunton; Ronda and Kathy Hunton; John Davis; Richard Chapman; Jack York; Sister Dorothy Lemon O.P., St. Mary's; Bill Creedon; Jack L. Harris, II; Lonnie Frost, John Davis, "Kojak", Mike Horne, Kathy Steinke, Boca Chica Ville, Eddie Perry, Sheri Smallwood, Karen NcElhaney and Brian and Angie, Mark and Linda Aolson, Wesley and Christopher, Betty King, and numerous other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his son, Harold Jay Cutler II, his father, Harold Joseph "Pops" Cutler, other relatives including uncle, Hugh Rice; cousin, Hugh O'Neill Rice; grandmother, Grace Cutler; aunt Catherine Tomlin, aunt, Ethel Cutler; uncle, Everett Howard; cousin, Tammy "Sissy" Howard Fisher and special friend, Jose and many other relatives and friends. Member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. Life member of ABATE of Florida southern most chapter, ABATE of Ohio; A.M.A.; M.R.O.; and life member of P.V.A. and the N.R.A. Private Memorial Mass will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Jays Memory followed by a private Catholic graveside service in Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Oh. DEIBEL (KREUTLER) Jeanette M. Deibel, age 84, Thursday, February 8, 2001, Grant Medical Center as a result of a auto accident. Avid card player. Member of the Forever Young Club at St. Mary Church, Groveport and the Christ the King Senior Citizens. Preceded in death by parents Joseph (Vernes) Weldon, 1st husband J. Carl Kreutler, 2nd husband Richard H. Deibel. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard (Mary Ann) Kreutler; daughter and son-in-law, Carol (Edward) Schneider of Troy, Mich.; grandchildren, Greg (Renee) Kreutler, Lee Ann (Darren) London, Jennifer Schneider of Rochester, Minn., Kristina, Carolyn and Eddie Schneider, all of Troy, Mich.; great-granddaughter, Alex Kreutler; brother, Richard (Madonna) Weldon of Ft. Myers, Fla.; step-children, Robert Deibel, Dorothy Byrne, Barbara Howiler, Diane Knipp; 20 step-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. DILTHEY Jean Eleanor Dilthey, age 76, of Whitehall, died Saturday, February 3, 2001 in Mt. Carmel East Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Dale, mother Eleanor Amerine and sister Edith Congrove. She is survived by daughters, Jodie (Dave) Sfreddo of Columbus, Kathleen Cantwell of Columbus, Janet (Tim) Yamaguchi of Lorenzo, Calif., Jean (John) Simonski of Columbus and Ruth Smith of Delaware; sister, Ruth Sanders of Savannah, Ga.; brother, Ivan Amerine of Upper Sandusky, Oh.; grandchildren, Charles Nichols, Gary Cantwell, Cindy Cantwell and Elizabeth Sfreddo; cousin, Bill Jordan; 4 great-grandhcildren; nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. Cremation with no calling hours. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2001 at WOODYARD EAST CHAPEL, 2300 E. Livingston Ave. with the Rev. Fr. Leo Connally officiating.

ERVIN Terry Ervin, age 53, Friday, February 9, 2001 O.S.U. Hospital. Construction Superintendant for Arlington Construction. Veteran U.S.Army Viet Nam, 11th Calvary Black Horse Division. Former football player for OSU, under Woody Hayes. Member of VFW, DAV, American Legion and Varsity O. Survived by wife, Mary Bova/Ervin; daughter, Tonya Maria Ervin (chad Holt) and their daughter Madison Marie Holt; son, Nicholas Joseph Ervin; niece, Elizabeth Walker Green and husband Rodney Green; great-nephew, Zachary Green; parents, Evan and Sarah Martz Ervin; brothers, Mark (Pam) Ervin, Thomas (Nancy) Ervin; sister, Tina (John) Leonard; uncle, Fred Martz; close sister-in-law, Kay Bova and fiance Fred Ferguson; brother-in-law, Bill (Jeanette) Bova; many nieces, nephews and friends. FARRELL Mia Marie Farrell, age 21 of Columbus, went to Heaven suddenly to be with the Lord on Friday, February 9, 2001 at Doctor's West Hospital. Graduate of Westland High School Class of 1997. Attended Otterbein College where she was a sister in the TEM sorority. Employee of the Heritage Golf Club. Preceded in death by grandma, JoAnn Farrell. Survived by parents, Keith and Regina Farrell; sisters, Jacqueline, Amy and Jessica Farrell; brother, Jacob Farrell all of Columbus; grandparents, Clifford and Dorothy Weate of Fla.; Jim Crandall of Hilliard. Also, survived by boyfriend, David Jenkins of Hilliard and her special pets, Yoder and Bailey; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. FIRESTEIN Lee Lieberman Firestein, of Columbus. Preceded in death by husband Dr. Ben Z. Firestein, sister and brother-in-law Florence and Martin Lazear, brother and sister-in-law Arthur and Shirley Lieberman, sister-in-law Sadie Lieberman and niece Sharon Kessler. Survived by brother, Ben Lieberman of Cincinnati; sister-in-law, Eleanor Firestein of South Bend, Ind.; nieces, Jerilyn Wolman of Columbus, Rose F. Firestein and Janice Firestein of N.Y. and Judy Shroyer of South Bend, Ind.; nephews, Terry Lazear of Columbus, Kenneth Lazear of Denver, Peter Firestein of N.Y. and Sidney Lieberman and Fred Lieberman of Cincinnati; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. Memorial Service will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Wexner Heritage House with Cantor Jack Chomsky officiating. Family will receive visitors at the Wolman resident on Saturday evening and Sunday evening. Memorials preferred to the Wexner Heritage House or Temple Beth El of South Bend, Ind. GEASE David T. Gease, age 39, a longtime resident of Dublin, Oh., passed away Friday, February 9, 2001 at his residence in Newark, Oh. David is survived by his parents, David H. and Delores J. Gease of Dublin; sister, Diana L. (Thomas A.) Swincher; nieces, Tiffiny M. Hovatter and Brittiny J. Swincher; and beloved uncles, aunts, and many friends. David was a graduate of Dublin High School in 1980. He was a veteran with the U.S. Navy, and later worked as an electrician, and was a member of the IBEW Local #683. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2001 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 13, 2001. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice, in his name.

HAZZARD Florence A. Hazzard, 90, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Upper Arlington, died Thursday, February 8, 2001. She was the wife of the late Morley H. Hazzard, mother of the late Connie H. Yearling and sister of the late Bertrum Allen and Virginia Shields. She was the loving mother of Cindi R. (John J.) Barone of Naples, Fla. and three grandchildren, Amy L. Rothe of Columbus, Dr. William S. Rothe of Columbus, and Christine S. Rothe of Ft. Lauderdale. Funeral Services will be private. HOLLIS Oscar L. "Bud" Hollis, age 77, of Centerburg, Friday, February 9, 2001 at home. Retired farmer. Army veteran of World War II, where he received the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart. Survived by wife, Evelyn "Jody" Hollis; children, Cheryl (Donald) Coleman, Linda (Steven) Ulrey and Gale K. (Toni) Hollis, all of Centerburg; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Hazel (Darrold) Fritchen of Florida, Ada (Fritz) Penick of Hebron, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 49 West Church Street, Centerburg, Monday 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Graveside service and burial will be held 11 a.m. at Bloomfield Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio.

KENNEDY Virginia F. Kennedy "Grandma", age 75, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, February 8, 2001 at the O.S.U. Select Specialty Hospital. Born September 8, 1925, she is the daughter of the late Cora Della and Ernie Harry Kanouse. Mrs. Kennedy retired from R.L. Polk Co. She loved crafts, sports, holidays the O.S.U. Buckeyes and walking with her friends. Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence "Casey", sister Cora Della Moore, brothers Ernie Harry Kanouse and William Fredrick Kanouse. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Sharon Jones; grandson, Kevin Jones; brothers, Charles Edward (Blanch) Kanouse, Philip Robert (Betty) Kanouse and Kenneth Ray Kanouse; many friends. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at the SCHOEDINGER-NORRIS CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City with Rev. David Berna officiating. Interment at Harrison Twp. Cemetery. KIECHLE Alberta C. Kiechle, age 86, Friday, February 9, 2001, Columbus Health Center. Preceded in death by husband Lawrence. Survived by sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews. LIGGETT Beatrice "Genny" Liggett, age 81, of Columbus, died Thursday, February 8, 2001 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Preceded in death by husband James F. Liggett. Devoted mother of oldest son, Charles "Chuck" Gould; special son, James "Tim" Liggett; devoted son, Michael "Mike" Liggett and Toni Corcoran and family, all of Columbus; the daughter she always wanted, Barbara Adkins of Delaware; brother, Paul R. (Sue) Wiley; several grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Member of Maynard Avenue United Methodist Church. Genny enjoyed her parttime position in Medical Office Services for Dr. Raymond Barker and continued to be actively involved as long as her health permitted. Genny also enjoyed writing personalized poems. She wrote: Jim's wait is over he's joined by his wife, together forever, in God's afterlife. Funeral service 11 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2001 at RUTHERFORD FUNERAL HOME, 2383 North High St., Columbus, where friends may call from 2-5 p.m. Sunday. Interment Union Cemetery.

LUTHI Larry F. Luthi, age 58 of Sunbury, died Wednesday, February 7, 2001 in Sunbury. Friends may call Sunday 2-5 p.m. DEVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Sunbury, where funeral services will be Monday 2 p.m., Dr. Richard D. Ellsworth officiating. Interment Galena Cemetery with military Honors.

LeVINE Longtime Columbus resident Sam LeVine passed away suddenly on January 27, 2001 in Las Vegas, Nev. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita Solomon LeVine; his 5 children, Arnold, Jack, Ken, Edye and Joe LeVine; 4 grandchildren, Leah, Nikki and Aaron LeVine and Kendra Benton-Smith; 1 surviving sister, Bess LeVine-Okun of N.Y.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Burial and memorial service with full veteran honors was held in Las Vegas on January 31, 2001 at the Veterans Cemetery and Chapel. The family has requested donations to the American Heart Association in lieu of flowers. Sam's widow Rita welcomes condolence calls at their home in Las Vegas at 702-367-0911.
