Robert Ulyss Glandon
Shawnee resident Robert Ulyss Glandon, 60, died Saturday, Jan. 15, in Shawnee.

He was born Jan. 27, 1944, in Clinton to William Otto and Nola Ann (Blankenship) Glandon.

He graduated from Butler High School in 1962.

He retired from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol after 20 years. He was employed by the Pottawatomie County Trust/Shawnee Safety Center as a commander over the adult jail facility.

He was a member of the Oklahoma Retired Troopers Association.

He married Linda Ralston on Aug. 3, 1963.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Tamara "Tammy" and Mark Maddux of Nowata; son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Robbie" and Cindy Glandon of Woodward; two grandsons, Glenn and Will Maddux of Nowata; two granddaughters, Kaylee, and Maddie Glandon of Woodward; brother, Bill White of New Hampshire; sister, Bennie Jean Banard of Elk City; aunt, Fern Blankenship of Oklahoma City; fiancée, Elaine Holliday and her children, Amanda and Chad Holliday; and many other family and friends.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with Sam Garner, OHP chaplain officiating. Burial will be at Butler Cemetery in Butler.

Walker Funeral Service is directing arrangements.

Marcha Charlene Hickey
Tecumseh resident Marcha Charlene Hickey, 61, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, at her home.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Gaskill Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Mildred Lavinia Savage
Shawnee resident Mildred Lavinia Savage, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 15, at her home.

She was born Feb. 24, 1919, in Washington, D.C., to Guy and Georgianna Stanton.

She was a registered nurse.

She served in the U.S. Navy as a nurse.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Savage.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas and Sherry Savage; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Margaret Munro, Jeanette and Lamar Smith and Nancy and Robert Daniels; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel of Walker Funeral Service with the Rev. J. Clifton Briscoe officiating.

Walker Funeral Service is directing arrangements.

Leo Ray Chambless
Shawnee resident Leo Ray Chambless, 85, died Saturday, Jan. 15, in Shawnee.

No service is scheduled.

Gaskill Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Anna L. Karr
Tecumseh resident Anna L. Karr, 80, died Monday, Jan. 17, in Shawnee.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Other information is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home.

Justin Jake Worthen
McLoud resident Justin Jake Worthen, 87, died Saturday, Jan. 15, in Norman.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mildred; five brothers; and one sister.

Survivors include his three daughters, Annette Brown and husband Rick of McLoud, Susan Walton and husband Richard of Oklahoma City and Jo Etta Worthen of Edmond; grandchildren, Rhonda Gottshall, Melissa Shaffer, Megan Brown and Jordan Palmer; and five great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at Baggerley-South Funeral Home Chapel in Oklahoma City. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Teresa Ann Hurst
Former Tecumseh resident Teresa Ann (Hoefler) Hurst, 50, died Monday, Jan. 17, in an El Reno hospital.

She was born Nov. 6, 1954, in Shawnee to Edward Hoefler and Carole Ann (Howe) Hoefler.

She attended El Reno schools and has resided in El Reno since 1970.

She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Sunset Chapter ABATE.

She married Roger Kent Hurst Nov. 8, 1980, in El Reno.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Roger Kent Hurst of the home; son, Jason Merveldt of El Reno; daughters, T.J. Marr and husband Chris of El Reno and Tera Ingram and husband Marion of Bokchito; brothers, Mike Hoefler of El Reno and Joe Pete Hoefler and wife Lisa of Yukon; two grandchildren, Jacob Christopher Marr and Madison Paige Trammell; two aunts, Cheryl Sing and husband Toby of Tecumseh and Roberta and Jack Cazzelle of Durant; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ruth and Morris Hurst of El Reno; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church in El Reno with the Rev. Richard D. Cato officiating.

Wilson Funeral Home in El Reno is directing arrangements.

Myrtle Lee Green
Meeker resident Myrtle Lee Green, 93, died Sunday, Jan. 16, in Ada.

She was born July 19, 1911, in Lincoln County to Edmond Cooper O'Neal and Mary Frances Watson-O'Neal.

She married Homer Henry Green Jan. 25, 1928, in Tecumseh.

She and her husband operated a dairy farm in the Meeker area.

Green spent her life in the Meeker area except for the past five years, which she spent near family in the Maud area.

She was the oldest living member of Meeker First Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Lloyd Green; and five sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Velma Green of Garland, Texas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie and Don Davenport of Earlsboro and Faye Ann and Weldon Ratcliff of Meeker; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Gaskill Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.

Gaskill Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Betty Cody Rains
Wanette resident Betty Cody Rains, 70, died Thursday, Jan. 20, in Wanette.

Viewing will be 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 9 a.m. to noon Monday at Cooper Chapel in Wanette. The casket will not be opened following the service.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church of Wanette with the Rev. Larry Stevenson and Randy Golden officiating.

Other information is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Georgia Etta Doakes Cochran
Former Shawnee resident Georgia Etta Doakes Cochran, 75, died Sunday, Jan. 16.

Service will be 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Konawa under the direction of Temple and Sons Funeral Directors Inc. Burial will follow at Grayson Cemetery, Konowa.

Wayne S. Spear
Norman resident Wayne S. Spear, 86, died Friday, Jan. 21, in Norman.

Service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lockstone Funeral Home Chapel, Weatherford, with the Rev. Lindell Warren and the Rev. Charles Pearcy officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
