Harlan Ragsel Ginn
Chandler resident Harlan Ragsel "Skinny" Ginn, 94, died Thursday in Chandler.

He was born Dec. 22, 1908, in Rogers, Texas, to Perry O. and Kathryn (Bangs) Ginn.

He married Dorothy Davenport Sept. 4, 1932, in Guthrie and served in the U. S. Army during World War II.

Ginn owned and operated Ginn Auto Supply in Chandler for many years and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Ginn of Chandler; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Ed Clover of Sugar Land, Texas; two grandchildren, Angela and Jim Milligan of Fort Worth, Texas, and Kevin and Alisa Clover of Mission Viejo, Calif.; five great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler with the Rev. Mark Lightman officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler. Memorials may be made to Friends of Chandler Library or the charity of choice.

Ozell Clark-Muse
Tecumseh resident Ozell Clark-Muse, 86, died Saturday in Shawnee.

She was born Aug. 7, 1916, in Byars to James Marion and Cora (Whitaker) Linn. She attended school at Byars and lived in Norman and Noble before moving to Tecumseh in 1994.

In 1932, she married Bud Edward Clark in Byars. He preceded her in death. In 1967, Clyde C. Muse in Purcell, who also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and a member of the Baptist church.

She also was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Munrow, Jack and Wash; two children, Bonita Jean Clark and Bud Eugene Clark; and one grandson, James Williams.

Survivors include children and spouses, Charles and Carol Clark, Bill and Debbie Clark, S.L. and Evelyn Clark, Legretta Maxwell, Virgel and Betty Clark, Priscilla and Don Jennings, Larry Clark, Judy and Roland Fox, Carl and Mary Clark and Anita Tucker; 46 grandchildren; 73 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Ray Woodard.

Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donald Clark and the Rev. Lonnie Hurst officiating. Burial will follow at Byars Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.

John Patterson
John Patterson, 82, Tecumseh, died Friday in Shawnee.

He was born Sept. 27, 1920, in Bradley, Okla., to John Thomas Patterson Sr. and Nora Patterson.

He attended school in Bradley and received his degree in pharmacy at Southwestern University in 1952.

He was reared in the Duncan area and had lived in Tecumseh since 1970. During World War II, he served with the U.S. Navy.

On June 12, 1943, he married Willie Mae Havron. She preceded him in death on Jan. 13, 1976, and he then married Frances Roark on Dec. 6, 1986.

He worked as a pharmacist. He owned and operated a drug store in Marlow before moving to Tecumseh in 1964. While in Tecumseh, he worked at Rexall Drug for many years. Following that store's closing, he worked for Ralph's Pharmacy for a short time and also filled in at many other pharmacies before his retirement in 2002.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, where he served as a deacon. He was member of Livewires and ,along with his wife, taught Sunday school at a nursing home more than 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion Hill-Huett Post 260, the Shawnee Masonic Lodge and the Gideons.

He volunteered for Hospice for many years.

Preceding him in death also were his parents and many brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Patterson of the home; daughter, Nancy Sallee of Lamesa, Texas; stepdaughter ,Francine Roark Robison of Shawnee; stepson and spouse, Jerry and Joyce Nutter of Lone Grove; two grandchildren and spouses, Gary and Penny Davis of Spokane, Wash., and Michaelle and Shane Strain of Mustang; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, French and Thelma Patterson of Chickasha; sister, Nora Bell Patterson of Wichita, Kan., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, Tecumseh with the Rev. Tim Walker, the Rev. W.F. Crow and the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Tecumseh Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home.

Duel William Capps
McLoud resident Duel William Capps, 82, died Saturday in Tecumseh.

He was born Feb.13, 1921, in Paden to Joseph and Leacey (Holder) Capps. He moved to McLoud from Paden as a young adult and farmed in the McLoud area until the end of 2002.

Capps was married for 42 years to Polly (Akins) Capps, who preceded him in death in 1988.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jane; both parents; one brother, Noble Capps, and two sisters, Alma Stone and Betty Carrel Gentry.

He married Mildred Osborn on April 23, 1996.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Capps of Midwest City; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Oneta Capps of the Meeker area, Roy and Linda Capps of Shawnee, and Cecil and Nancy Capps of Las Vegas, Nev.; stepdaughters, Peggy M. Vickrey, Midwest City; Margery A. Utesch, Colorado Springs, Colo.; stepson, Jerry D. Osborn, Littleton, Colo.; sisters, Bertha Adams and Mae Wallis, both of Paden; six grandchildren, including Kimberly Brown of Bethel, Brian Capps of Byng, and Aaron Capps of McLoud; 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Capps was a member of the First Baptist Church of McLoud. He served on the McLoud Public Schools Board of Education for more than 10 years.

Services will be 4 p.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague with the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will follow at the Prague Cemetery.

Velma R. Ehrle
Shawnee resident Velma R. Ehrle, 84, died Monday at a Norman hospital.

She was born May 9, 1919, in Missoula, Mont., to Myron and Millie (Peffley) Dunlap. She graduated from high school and attended college in Missoula.

She lived in Seattle, Wash., and Long Beach, Calif., before moving to Shawnee in 1971.

Her husband Joseph "Joe" Ehrle preceded her in death on May 20, 2001.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley King and Sandy Ehrle, both of Shawnee; son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Joyce Ehrle of Southfork, Colo.; a grandson, Jody King, Seminole; great-grandson, Vincent King of Claremore, and great-granddaughter, Torea King of Shawnee, and many other realtives.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. today at Resthaven Memorial Park with the Rev. Mike Craig officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.

Eunice E. Hayes
Eunice E. Hayes of Maud died Sunday at her home at the age of 71.

Survivors include her husband, David Hayes, of the home; son, David Hayes Jr. of Waymart, Penn.; daughter, Kimberly Hayes Pellman of Maud; brothers, Verle Welch of Celestie, Texas; Jesse Welch of Victoria, Texas; sister, Naomi Park of Las Lunas, N.M.; Ruth Peterson of Taylorsville, Utah; Becky Haws of Maud, and three grandchildren.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Maud, with the Rev. Tim Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud.

Arrangements are under the direction of Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud.

Edward Frank Pecore
Former Shawnee resident Edward Frank Pecore of Perry Park, Colo., died Wednesday at the age of 63.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Johnna of Pinellas Park, Fla.; Thomas and Jama of Norman; Ronald and Nalene of Larkspur, Colo.; sisters, Delia, Mary Alice, Cathy and Peggy, all of Shawnee; brother, David of Shawnee, and five grandchildren.

Burial was in the National Cemetery at Fort Logan, Denver, Colo., under the direction of Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home of Castle Rock, Colo.

Memorial contributions may be made in the name of Ed Pecore to the All Veterans Honor Guard, in care of Boe Simpson, 1356 West 24th Place, Golden, CO 80401.

W.B. Condon Jr.
W.B. "Bud" Condon Jr., 75, of Tecumseh died Sunday in Shawnee.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Tecumseh Cemetery, with the Rev. John Mixon officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Wallace E. "Jelly" Maxwell
Wallace E. "Jelly" Maxwell, 76, of Tecumseh died Saturday in Tecumseh.

He was born Jan. 22, 1926, in Allen, the son of Arlie Otha and Ruby Jewell (Wilson) Maxwell.

He grew up in Skagg City and had lived in Borger, Texas. He returned to Tecumseh in 1990. He attended school at Forest View and Mt. Delonia. He also attended aviation machine school.

He married Rita Moore in Gainesville, Texas, on May 17, 1949. She preceded him in death on May 1, 1991. He married Betty Claybrook in Las Vegas, Nev., on May 20, 1996.

He worked for Service Drilling Co. for 41 years. He was trucking superintendent and had worked his way to vice president before retiring in 1990.

He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1957. He also was a member of the American Legion and VFW.

Also preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, Juanita Crownover.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Jo Maxwell of the home; a sister, Marie Giles of Shawnee; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Billy and Joyce Maxwell of Shawnee and Jack and Abbie Maxwell of Tecumseh; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services are 2 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Tecumseh Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Cooper Funeral Home, Tecumseh.

Farralee Penner Dean
Farralee Penner Dean, 71, died Thursday in Peru, Ind.

She was born Aug. 21, 1930, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of Dick and Alberta Moore.

Dean worked as a licensed practical nurse and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Peru.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Thomas Moore; and a niece, Carol Sue Moore.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Anna Kay and Lonnie Garner of Peru; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Cindy Penner of Troy, Mo.; a brother, Richard Moore of Hermitage, Tenn.; a niece, Debbie Hayden of Lexington, Ky.; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City.

Arrangements are being handled by Guardian West Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
