Raymond Wall
Raymond "Ben" Wall, 81, of Shawnee died Sunday at a local hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1921, in Waurika, Okla., to Simon A. and Sara (King) Wall.

Wall attended Comanche schools.

He worked in the oil field and for Detco Construction for many years.

Wall lived in Tecumseh since 1982, moving from Comanche and Macomb.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Earnest, A.G. and Otto Wall; four sisters, Frances Strange, Mary Doss, Amy Dugan and Dovie Wall.

Survivors include his sister, Joyce Funkhouser of Comanche; a number of nieces and nephews of Comanche and Shawnee; and a number of great nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Fay Pearl Hoofard
Fay Pearl Hoofard, 89, of Gresham, Ore., died Saturday in Gresham.

She was born March 17, 1913, in Tribbey, the daughter of Jacob and Nettie (Wilhelm) Forster.

Hoofard grew up in Tribbey, Tecumseh and Romulus and was one of six children. After graduating from Tribbey High School in 1931, she married Floyd W. Hoofard.

The Hoofards moved to Oakland, Calif., in 1942, then to Red Bluff, Calif., in 1970. They lived in Red Bluff for 26 years before moving to Vancouver, Wash., then to the Portland, Ore. area.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, a sister and two brothers.

Survivors include three daughters, June Nack of Portland, Ore., Carolyn Cooper of Wagoner, Okla., and Peggy Taylor of Milwaukie, Ore.; two sons, Floyd Hoofard of Joseph, Ore., and Stanley Hoofard of Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Mary Mae Taylor of Oakdale, Calif., and Blanche Hall of Auburn, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

A service was held 1 p.m. Saturday at Bateman Carroll Funeral Chapel in Gresham. A committal service will be held in Tecumseh at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bateman Carroll Funeral Home and Crematory.

Virgil Ray Babb
Virgil Ray Babb, 61, of McLoud died Saturday at a Seminole hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Linda of the home; four children, Radonna Babb, Tony Babb, Jackey Babb and Samuel Babb; four stepchildren, Jeff Scampture, Tommy Custard, Billy Custard and Lorrie Pastorello; six brothers, Don Babb, Tommy Babb, Billy Babb, Jimmy Babb, Ronny Babb and Ricky Babb; a sister, Kathy Martinez; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A service will be 2 p.m. today at Resthaven Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jess Power officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Arrangements are being handled by Resthaven Funeral Home.

Marie Allee
Marie Allee died Saturday in Oklahoma City. She was 67.

Surviving are her husband, Jack Allee, Mustang; son Raymond Allee of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Shirley Rees of Deer Lodge, Mont., Debbie Grant of Oklahoma City, and Sherri Crossley of Mustang; 11 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be 2 p.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Stroud with the Rev. Charles Jones officiating. Burial will be in Stroud Cemetery under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Services, Stroud.

Joyce Vivian Coose
Joyce Vivian Groves Coose, 69, died Saturday in Oklahoma City.

Surviving are her husband, Marel "Monty" Coose; daughter Linda Green and husband Larry of Prague; three brothers, Elvin Groves of Cromwell, Bobby Groves, Okemah, and Jerry Groves, Okemah; sister Lois Like of Okemah; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Highland Cemetery, Okemah, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah.

Randon Rocco Chaney Rizzo
Oklahoma resident Randon Rocco Chaney Rizzo, 31, died Friday, April 8, in Oklahoma City.

Service is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Clifford L. Roberts
Shawnee resident Clifford L. "Kip" Roberts, 71, died Thursday, April 7, in an Oklahoma City hospital.

Further announcements are pending with Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.

Randon Rocco Chaney Rizzo
Randon Rocco Chaney Rizzo was born Sept. 16, 1973, to Carolyn S. Rizzo and Ron Hurst and passed from this life April 8, 2005, in Oklahoma City.

He worked as a barber/stylist at Dallas and Co. in Nichols Hills and was a member of Life Church in Edmond.

He attended Tecumseh Christian Academy and was a 1991 graduate of Tecumseh High School.

He went to The University of Oklahoma and received his degree in physical therapy. Upon graduation, he worked at Shawnee Medical Center, as well as a burn center in Michigan.

Other accomplishments include degrees in counseling, phlebotomy, travel agent, as well as his barber's license from the Institute of Hair Design in Shawnee, where he received many competition awards.

Preceding him in death were one brother, Rhanson Joe Hurst; one sister, Rachel Carolyn Hurst; grandparents, Joe Rizzo, L.R. Hurst, and C.K. and Syble Stapp.

Randon is survived by his mother, Carolyn S. Rizzo of Shawnee; father and spouse, Ron and Kathryn Hurst of Eufaula; grandmother, Flora Hurst of Tecumseh; brother and sister-in-law, the Rev. Travis and Deana Hurst of Shawnee; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ronell and Robin Talley of Shawnee and Raquel and James Matheson of Tecumseh; close friend Scott Chaney; nephews, Blake, Kyle, Josey and Baylor; nieces, Braiden, Savannah, Meena and Macy; and numerous relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, at Faith Christian Outreach in Shawnee, officiated by the Rev. Travis Hurst.

Jackie Meyer
Tecumseh resident Jackie Meyer, 70, died Thursday, April 5, in Tecumseh.

She was born Jan. 19, 1937, to Jack O. and Martha (Frenkel) Brown in Huntington Beach, Calif.

After living most of her life in Shawnee, she was currently a Tecumseh resident.

In 1980 she married John H. Davis. He preceded her in 2002.

She was a homemaker and avid Bingo player, being very good at Mini. Her biggest smile was when she Bingoed on the Hot Ball. If you couldn't find her, she was with Hinky playing Bingo. Her kids and grandkids were the joy of her life. She was known for her sharp tongue and wry sense of humor. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one brother and sister-in-law, Emil and LaVerne Bolz; and sister, Elsie (Kirk) Borelli.

Survivors include daughter, Christine Folks of Tecumseh; son, Timothy Meyer and Elizabeth Stearman of Tecumseh; grandchildren, Christy Hall, Kevin Folks, Christopher, Megan, Maquella, and Jacob Folks, Brianna Wise, and Brittany Meyer; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Virgie Taylor, and Mary and Gene Hammons; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Hazel Bolz; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with Tommy Hale, General Assembly Church of the First Born officiating. Burial will be at Tecumseh Cemetery.

Lonnie Bobo
Wellston resident Lonnie Bobo died Monday, April 9, at the age of 79.

Services are pending under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.

Edna May Inman
Prague resident Edna May Inman, 100, died Saturday, April 7, in Prague.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at the Park Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with Bro. Tim Emmons officiating. Burial will follow at the Giles Cemetery, Prague.

Arrangements under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.

Marion Webster Ford
Shawnee resident Marion Webster Ford died Monday, April 9, in Shawnee at the age of 89.

Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Larry Sparks officiating. Burial will be a Tecumseh Cemetery.

Walker Funeral Service will have further announcements.

Beatrice Ann Franklin
Eufaula resident Beatrice Ann Franklin, 67, died Sunday, April 8, in Eufaula.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to service time Wednesday at Parks Brothers Funeral Home.

Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parks Brothers Chapel, Stroud, with the Rev. Ellis Rollette officiating. Burial will be at Sac and Fox Tribal Cemetery, Stroud, under the direction of Parks Funeral Home, Stroud.
