Anderson Allen Jr.
Stroud resident Anderson Allen Jr., 66, died Tuesday, April 26, in Stroud.

Wake service was 7 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be 11 p.m. Wednesday at the Allen Family Cemetery.

Parks Brothers Funeral Services of Stroud is directing arrangements.

Ella Mae Bowden
Ella Mae Bowden, 67, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 25, in McAlester after a long battle with cancer.

She was born July 10, 1939, to Joe and Jennie (Herndon) Woodruff.

She married Charles Edward Bowden Sr. July 17, 1961. They spent 17 years together before he passed in 1978.

She retired from TDK after 24 years of service. Ella Mae was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

She enjoyed her gambling trips with her co-workers, hanging out at the Rainbow Inn with her friends, playing bingo, and spending time with her grandkids.

Ella Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Carolyn Bronson.

She is survived by her children, Jennie Wolfe and husband, Bill, of Canadian, Okla., Eddie Bowden and wife, Marie, and Randy Bowden and wife, Angela, both of Shawnee; brother, Billy Woodruff of McGehee, Ark.; nine grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; her dear friend Sue Marshall; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Visitation will be 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. today.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Messer officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.

She will be dearly missed by all.

Dr. Archie Lee Denham
Newcastle resident Dr. Archie Lee Denham, 85, died Thursday, April 26.

Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Newcastle Christian Church, 2200 N. Main St.

Arrangements under the direction of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 6934 S. Western Ave., OKC.

Carol W. Silas
St. Louis, Okla. resident Carol W. Silas, 67, died Thursday, April 26, in Oklahoma City.

Service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Cooper Funeral Chapel.

Other information is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Langston Lee Gordon
Stroud resident Langston Lee Gordan, 15, died Friday, April 27, in Stroud.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stroud High School Auditorium with Pastor Clyde McGuire officiating. Burial will follow at Kendrick Cemetery.

Arrangements under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Stroud.

Juanita Lovene Myers
Seminole resident Juanita Lovene (Adams) Myers, 74, died Saturday, April 28, at her home.

Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.

Arrangements under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.

Betty Harris
Betty Harris, 70, Tecumseh, died Saturday, April 30, in Shawnee.

Service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with the Rev. W.F. Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery. Other information will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.

Leslie Getzelman
Tecumseh resident Leslie "Uncle Getz" Getzelman died Sunday, April 29, in Tecumseh at the age of 87.

He was born Aug. 31, 1919, in Onida, S.D., to Frank Edward and Floral B. (Shaver) Getzelman.

On July 4, 1944, he married Anjaline Hogue at the Church of Christ in West Los Angeles, Calif.

He was reared in Dundee, Ill. Following his military service and marriage, he had lived in California, residing in Venice and Marine Del Ray. He had resided in Tecumseh since 1978. He served with the U.S. Army during World War II in Okinawa and was in the 421 "D" Battery Field Artillery and in the Desert Wolf Training group.

As a boy, using a horse and cart, he delivered milk and ice. He worked as an upholsterer for most of his life. He worked in his garage and kept a well manicured lawn. He enjoyed model trains, playing games, joking and teasing.

He was preceded in death by his wife on May 21, 2003; his parents; and one sister, Mildred McCool.

Survivors include his nephews and spouse, Curtis and Joan McCool of Dundee, Ill.; two sisters-in-law, Anna Edgeman and Annette Hogue, both of Tecumseh; numerous nieces and nephews including Dianna Seaton of Tecumseh and Darlene "Dolly" Moore of Shawnee.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Tecumseh Cemetery with Chaplain Bill House officiating.

Deward "Junior" Hancock Jr.
Oklahoma City resident Deward "Junior" Hancock Jr., 43, died Wednesday, April 18, at Diego Garcia Air Force Base.

Junior was born June 7, 1963, in Oklahoma City to Deward E. and Carolyn (Landers) Hancock Sr.

He worked as an Aircraft Mechanic at Tinker Air Force Base.

Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Hancock-Flatt and husband, Don, of Newalla; father, Deward Hancock Sr. and wife, Ruth, of Earlsboro; three daughters, Amy Hancock of Seminole, Rebecca Hancock of Prague, Melissa Hancock of Shawnee; the mother of his daughters Angela Ross of Shawnee; one sister Terry Cleghorn and husband, Keith, of Newcastle; niece Heather Cleghorn; and many others that he touched across the globe.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Parks Brothers Funeral Home in Prague.

Service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Prague.

Langston Lee Gordon
Kendrick resident Langston Lee Gordon, 15, departed this life, Friday, April 27, near Stroud.

He was born July 11, 1991, to Alfred and Lisa Gordon in Sapulpa.

He attended Stroud High School.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Edwin Matheson and Reynold and Doris Sterkel.

Survivors include his father and mother, Alfred and Lisa Gordon of the home; sister, Cassidy Gordon of the home; grandparents, Milburn and Bessie Gordon of Bristow, Ronald and Janet Matheson of Kendrick; great-grandmother, Velma Matheson of Stroud; and other friends and family.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at the Stroud High School Auditorium with the Rev. Clyde McGuire and the Rev. Derek Bolin officiating. Burial will follow at Kendrick Cemetery, Kendrick.

Gilbert (Ted) F. Brugman
Meeker resident Gilbert (Ted) F. Brugman, 89, died Sunday, April 29, at his residence.

Service will be noon Wednesday at St. Benedict's Catholic Church with the Rev. Jaeb Maurus, O.S.B. officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Meeker Friends of the Library or St. Benedict's Catholic Church.

Arrangements under the direction of Resthaven Funeral home.

Patricia Irene Loudermilk
Maud resident Patricia Irene Loudermilk, 57, went to be with the Lord Monday, April 30, at her home in Maud.

She was born Nov. 12, 1949, in Mound Valley, Kan., to Finis David Good and Mildred Irene (Scobey) Good.

Patricia married Amos Lee Loudermilk on May 26, 1979, in Benton, Kan.

She retired from Westar Energy in 2002 where she was a customer service representative in Wichita, Kan.

Patricia was a member of the United Pentecostal Church in Shawnee.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, her father died, January 20, 1987 and her mother died, October 28, 2000. She is also preceded in death by one brother, Franklin J. Good.

Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Amos Lee Loudermilk of the home; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Herbert and Opal Loudermilk of Maud; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason L. and Maria Loudermilk of Killeen, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Lezlea L. and Mike Creason of Okmulgee; one brother and sister-in-law, David L. and Donna Good of Benton, Kan.; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances L. and Don Stearns of Fridley, Minn.; one sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Phyllis and David Hurst of Houston, Texas; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Bobbie Loudermilk of Bartlesville and Tom and Sue Loudermilk of Bixby; six grandchildren, Kayla Loudermilk, Whitney Creason, Kimberly Carter, Lacey Creason, Lindsey Creason and Katelyn Creason; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Creason, Dennis Carter and Isaac Carter; and a host of other family and friends.

Open visitation will be held from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and until the service time on Thursday.

Service will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud with the Rev. M. Cornwell and the Rev. V. Bowman officiating.

The family has designated the United Pentecostal Church for memorial contributions. United Pentecostal Church - 1010 East Independence - Shawnee, Oklahoma 74804.
