Kenneth I. Edgmon
Longtime Cromwell resident Kenneth I. Edgmon, died Tuesday, May 22, at Seminole Medical Center at the age of 85.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Services will conclude in the Chapel. Burial will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County.

Emma Agnes Miller
Prague resident Emma Agnes Miller departed this life on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, in Prague at the age of 93.

She was born on Nov.15, 1913, in Prague, to Josef Anton and Agnes (Fojtik) Kubicek.

She married Ottis Oliver Miller on Nov. 4, 1936. He preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1993.

Emma was a homemaker.

Her parents, three brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter also preceded Emma in death.

Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Alfred and Linda Miller of Roscoe, Texas, Charley Miller of Harrah, and George Miller of Meeker; daughters and sons-in-law, Bessie and John Valouch of Choctaw, Minnie and Gerald McGuire of Prague, Betty and Johnny Provaznik of Prague, Emma J. and Richard McConnell of Eufaula; sisters, Lillie and Jerry Saulsberry of Broken Arrow, and Hermie Dawkins of Exeter, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Miller's family will receive friends at Parks Brothers Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with the Rev. Terry Pittman officiating. Burial will follow at Gable Cemetery in Prague.

Ginger (Griffin) Gee
Shawnee resident Ginger (Griffin) Gee, 53, parted from this life to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 23, in Shawnee.

She was born Sept. 14, 1953, in Meeker to Melvin and Mary (Floyd) Griffin.

In 1971 she married Johnnie Lindsey and they had two daughters. She remarried in 1979 to Gary Gee and they had one son and one daughter. Gary and Ginger shared 21 wonderful years together until his death in 2000.

She attended Meeker High School, graduating in 1971. She then went to pursue a career at Tinker Air Force Base, where she worked until she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Sandy Griffin and her beloved husband, Gary Gee.

Survivors include her loving companion, Keith Davis, of the home; five children and their spouse, Johnna Lindsey and Joe Buckmaster of Shawnee, Misty Lindsey Bruce Addington and husband Steven of Shawnee, Joshua and Erin Gee of Shawnee, Sarah Gee of Shawnee, and Melissa Koon of Shawnee; 12 grandchildren, Johnathan Lindsey, Autumn Wiles, Kyla Lindsey, Sammy Lindsey, Deondre Bruce, Deuce Bruce, Jackellyn Addington, Kaylan Ware, Trenton Ware, Dylan Koon, Makenzie Koon, and Alexis Koon; four siblings and their spouses, Larry and Rita Griffin of Newalla, Jimmy and Eugenia of Wellston, Sherri and Steve Couretmanche of Harrah and Terri Griffin of Shawnee

She was loved by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed dearly.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery, Meeker.

Clarence Lyle Cundiff
Shawnee resident Clarence Lyle Cundiff left this world on Wednesday, May 23, peacefully and willingly.

Clarence was born Nov. 9, 1920, to George L. and Emma Cundiff, the youngest of six children, in Prairie Township, Davis County, Iowa.

Clarence was was a kind and gentle man who is loved and respected by all who knew him.

Clarence served in the military during World War II and was a devoted Christian. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and the Masons. He retired from International Harvester and loved to travel and spend time with his family.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, a previous wife Marie, three sisters, and two brothers.

Clarence is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sibyle, of the home; two daughters, Joyce White and her husband, Sonny, of South Carolina, Carolyn Hodge and her husband, Steve, of Shawnee; one son, Russell Shook and his wife, Vickie, of Irving, Texas.

Clarence and Sibyle also shared many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, all of whom loved him dearly.

A special thanks to the members of Immanuel Baptist Church for their prayers and visits; to the wonderful staff at Davita, in Shawnee, who cared for him during the last two years; and to Dr. Aly Aly for his compassionate care.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the building fund at Immanuel Baptist Church 1101 E. Main Shawnee, Oklahoma 74801.

Betty Brown
McLoud resident Betty Brown, 82, passed away Sunday, May 20.

She was born Sept. 12, 1924, to Elmer O. White and Myrtle Annette (Moe) White in Decorah, Iowa.

In 1945 she married Earl Brown in California.

She retired from Tinker Air Force Base as an Electrician. She was a member of McLoud Methodist Church

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ila Fuller; brothers, Walter and Edmond White; and two grandchildren.

Survivors include husband, Earl Brown of the home; sons, Earl Brown Jr., William Brown, Richard Brown, James Brown; sister, Alice Imburger and Lyle; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many other loving relatives and friends.

Service will be 2 p.m. today at McLoud Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Dale Cemetery.

Pearl Caroline Tripp
Longtime Konawa resident Pearl Caroline Tripp died Wednesday, May 23, at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee at the age of 88.

Viewing will be 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and Saturday and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday and Monday.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Yeager Cemetery with Pastor Darrell Stinnet officiating.

Marjorie O. Miller
Guthrie resident Marjorie O. (Hamilton) Miller, 80, died Tuesday, May 23, in Oklahoma City.

Service will be 1 p.m. today at the Community Church, Guthrie, with Pastor Bill Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Oklahoma City.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah.

Loydell Barton
Lifelong Paden area resident Loydell (Adams) Barton, 90, died Thursday, May 24, in Prague.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Prague with the Rev. Wayne Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery, Paden.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Prague.

Cory Fletcher
Funeral service for longtime Maud resident Cory Fletcher, 37, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Maud. Burial will follow at Cummings Cemetery in Maud under the direction of Knight~Swearingen Funeral Home.

Pauline Ruth Trent Hill Crabtree
Pauline "Granny Pud" Ruth Trent Hill Crabtree, 81, died Friday, May 25.

Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First Christian Church, Kingfisher, with Pastor John Sellers officiating. Burial will be at Kingfisher Cemetery under the direction of Sanders Funeral Service, Kingfisher.

Jesus "Jesse" Diaz
Bowlegs resident Jesus "Jesse" Diaz, 97, died Thursday, May 24, at his home.

Memorial service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Sneed officiating. Burial will be in Willet, N.Y.

Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.

Robert Dale Dagenhart
Maud resident Robert Dale Dagenhart, 59, died Tuesday in Maud.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bethel Acres Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Lonnie Hurst officiating.

Other information is pending and will be announced by Cooper Funeral Home.

Dorothy Gouldy
Shawnee resident Dorothy Gouldy died Friday, May 25, at the age of 88.

Memorial service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with the Rev. Dave Lewis officiating.

Service is under the direction of Walker Funeral Home.

Maria Louise Haney
Shawnee resident Maria Louise Haney, 74, died Monday, May 28, at a local hospital.

Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Chapel of Walker Funeral Service.

Other information is pending with Walker Funeral Service of Shawnee.
