Longtime Seminole resident Marie Harbeston died Tuesday, July 10, in Springfield, Mo., at the age of 91.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery.

Swearingen Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Dale J. Danker
Wellston resident Dale J. Danker died Monday, July 9, at the age of 68.

Service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Wellston High School Gymnasium, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Chandler.

Amanda Lynn Harris Treat
Shawnee resident Amanda Lynn Treat died Monday, July 6, at a local hospital at the age of 27.

Amanda was born January 7, 1980 in Shawnee. She grew up in Prague, Meeker and Shawnee. She attended Prague and Meeker schools.

Amanda worked for many years as a Certified Nursing Aid and Certified Medication Aid. Her ambition was to become a phlebotomist. Her greatest love was her daughters. She enjoyed dancing, chatting on the internet and her family and friends. She was a vibrant being who brought light to every place and person she touched. She held a strong belief in angels and kept returning to hope in spite of the pain and losses she suffered. Amanda is finally getting the rest and comfort she deserved in life, and will soon join the angels looking over us.

Preceding her in death were her brother, Rex Treat Jr.; her uncles, David and Dean Harris; her aunt, LaDonna Wendt, and her grandparents.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved daughters, Alexis Lynn Gilliam and Breeana Marie Zarate; her parents, Danita Cacciola and Rex and Cindy Treat; her brothers and sisters, Deena and Jason Stuart, Sarah and J.C. Duke, Vina Treat, and Jason and Dalelynn Stallings.; her grandparents, Fred and Lovene Harris, nephews, Ricky and Johnny Duke; nieces, Audra Duke and Kaelyn Stuart, and her dear friend Lori Hardison. She was loved by so many friends and family members, including her aunts, uncles, cousins and other special people.

Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel with burial at Dale Cemetery.

Debbie Williams
Tecumseh resident Debbie Williams died Monday, July 9, in Oklahoma City at the age of 38.

She was born March 27, 1969, in Wilmington, Del., to Dannie Ray and Dolly Marie (Hurst) Weeks.

She was married to Daniel Franklin Williams Jr.

Debbie was a CNA at Tecumseh Sunset Estates. She loved animals and she also loved flowers, trees and sunsets. Debbie enjoyed writing poems.

Survivors include her husband, Dan Williams of the home; three daughters, Sheela Williams and Sheena Williams, both of the home and Jenny May Thompson of Oklahoma City; two sons, Kalem Williams and Matthew Williams, both of the home; five brothers, Danny Weeks of Moore, Lawrence Weeks of Falls Mills, Va., Josh Weeks of Florida, Jeremy Weeks and Chad Weeks, both of West Virginia; three grandchildren, Alicia Thompson, Heather Thompson and Sophie Thompson; many friends and other family members.

Service will be 1 p.m. Friday at Countryside Pentecostal Church of God with the Rev. Dennis Stone officiating.

Jeanette D. Fox
Tecumseh resident Jeanette D. Fox, 66, passed away Wednesday, July 11, in Tecumseh.

She was born May 15, 1941, to James W. Holt and Donna Vinita Burnett in Shawnee.

She attended Tecumseh High School.

On June 1, 1976, she married Billy T. Fox in Tecumseh.

She was a homemaker and was a member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Shawnee. Family was the focal point of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna Vinita Brown-Burnett; her father, James W. Holt; and a brother, Ronnie L. Holt.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Fox of Tecumseh; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bill and Pamela Smith of Tecumseh, Darrell and Shelly Smith of Shawnee; grandkids, Jeremy Smith and his wife, Kendra, of Tecumseh, Danica Smith of Tecumseh, April Rawls, Bryan Rawls and Stephen Rawls, all of Shawnee; sister, Connie Cummings of Lakin, Kan.; brother, Jimmie D. Holt of Shawnee; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Tecumseh Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Bryant officiating.

Patsy Ann (Colvin) Combs Marsh
Tecumseh resident Patsy Ann (Colvin) Combs Marsh, 67, died Thursday, July 12, in Tecumseh.

She was born Dec. 5, 1939, to Kenneth Lee "Jack" and Maudie Marie (Snyder) Colvin in Okmulgee.

She attended Wolf Grade School and graduated from Seminole High School. She attended Seminole Junior College.

In 1960 she married Paul Vernon Combs. They had two sons, James and Jeffrey Combs.

Paul preceded her in death May, 1976.

Patsy then attended Gordon Cooper Vo-Tech and became a Licensed Practical Nurse. Her nursing career included working as a Charge Nurse in local hospitals and nursing homes.

In 1991 she married Newell C. Marsh of Tecumseh.

She was preceded in death by her first husband; her parents; her grandparents and one great nephew.

Patsy is survived by her husband, Newell C. Marsh of the home; her sons, James Paul Combs of Tecumseh and Jeffrey Don Combs of Shawnee; step-son, Randolph L. Marsh and wife Ann, of Farmers Branch, Texas; step-daughter, Angela James and husband David, of Shawnee; brother-in-law, Charles L. Marsh of California; brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth "Sarg" and Mary Colvin of Seminole; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Hobart Roberts of Texas; and several grandchildren.

Patsy was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was twice past Worthy Matron of Tecumseh Chapter #30.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Cooper Funeral Chapel with Chaplain James Hall officiating. Eastern Star Rites will be conducted. Private family burial will follow at Little Cemetery.

Helen Lucile Pruitt Vickrey
Stroud resident Helen Lucile Pruitt Vickrey, 85, departed this life Thursday, July 12, in Stroud.

She was born Dec. 21, 1921, in Francis, Okla., to Byard Smith and Sunset (Smith) Morris.

Helen has been a resident of Stroud for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker as well as a member of the Church of Christ in Stroud and a of the Centerview Home Demostration Sewing Club.

She was married July 15, 1989, in Stroud to Ray Vickrey.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a husband, Andy Pruitt; five brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include one step-son, Larry Vickrey and wife, Diana, of Katy, Texas; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Linda and Morgan Vandergriff of Lavaca, Ariz., Brenda and Billy Place of Quitman, Texas, and Anita cook of Oklahoma City; two sisters-in-law, Thelma Morris of Wichita, Kan., and Louise Ethridge of Stroud; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ in Stroud with nephew Robert Pettyjohn officiating. Burial will be at Stroud Cemetery, Stroud.

Hester M. Britt
Shawnee resident Hester M. Britt, 91, died Wednesday, July 11, at Unity North Hospital, Shawnee.

She was born July 29, 1915, in Guin, Ala., to Henry Reese and Cora (Barker) Reese.

She was raised in the Seminole area and later in the Dale area where she graduated from Dale High School in 1933.

She married Olen E. Britt Oct. 24, 1935. They had three children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cora Reese; husband Olen Britt; three brothers, Chester Reese, Jake Reese, and Denver Reese; one sister-in-law, Dorothy Reese; daughter-in-law, Shirley D. Britt; and infant daughter Rita Gail Britt.

She is survived by her son, Don R. Britt; Don's daughter, Robin and her husband, Brett, Crabtree, and their children, Regan, Seth and Blayne; Don's daughter, and son-in-law, Angela and James Kinnamon and their children, Lacey and Katy; Don's son, Heath Britt; Heath's step-daughter, Cheryl and her children, Jeremy, Katy, and Cody; and Heath's step-daughter, Lori and her children Sierra, Aaron and Zachary. In addition, she is survived by her daughter, Darlene Whaley Klute and her son, Brian Scott Whaley. She also is survived by two sisters-in-law, Ruth Reese and Lahoma Reese, numerous nephews, one special nephew, Jerry Don Reese and his wife, Anita Reese, and numerous great and great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Service will be 1 p.m. today at Trinity Chapel at Resthaven Memorial Park with Michael McCauley officiating.

Charles DeWayne Fisher
Agra resident Charles DeWayne Fisher, 66, died Wednesday, July 11.

Graveside service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Parkland Cemetery, Parkland, Okla.

Betty June Turner
Newalla resident Betty June Turner, 73, died Wednesday, July 12, in Edmond.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Candlewood Chapel.
