Thomas Wolfe
Longtime Shawnee resident Thomas Wolfe, 85, passed away Sunday, July 15, at his residence.
Tom was born June 13, 1922, to Cathryn and Lawrence Wolfe in Hagerstown, Md.
He graduated from Hagerstown High School and attended the University of Maryland. He also served in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
He married his high school sweetheart, Betty Zitzman in April of 1943, in Fayetteville, Ark. They were married 53 years before her death in 1996.
He was an active member of United Presbyterian Church and served as an elder and church treasurer.
He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Ann Wolfe, and Amy and Bernie Boysen; a granddaughter and her husband, Melissa and Chad Lanier; a great-grandson, Jake Lanier; and a great-granddaughter, Lizzie Lanier.
Memorial service will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel of Walker Funeral Service.
Ruthanne Christine Gregory
Meeker resident Ruthanne Christine Gregory, 63, departed this life Sunday, July 15, in Oklahoma City.
Ruthanne was born March 6, 1944, to Robert C. and Elsie Mae (Lolley) Bayles in Janesville, Wis.
She married Loren Edward Gregory on July 28, 1965, in Miami. He preceded her in death Nov. 22, 2005.
Ruthanne was a member of the Meeker United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the Spinner and Weavers Guild.
Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Tracey Gregory of Oklahoma City, David and Sarah Gregory of Bethel; daughter, Sherry Gregory of Oklahoma; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Cora Lie Havens of Olympia, Wash.; and four grandchildren.
Memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Meeker with the Rev. Mike Melton officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.

John Keith Atkins
Former Seminole County resident John Keith Atkins, currently of Garland, Texas, died Saturday, July 14, in Tulsa at the age of 42.
Service will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Steve Foster and David Atkins officiating. Burial will be at Atkins Family Cemetery, Stonewall, Okla., under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.
Donna Jean Hobbs
Konawa - Donna Jean Hobbs, 55, died Monday, July 16, at her residence.
Service is pending under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Konawa.
Tabatha Mundt
Oklahoma City resident Tabatha Mundt died Saturday, July 14, at the age of 35.

Jace Ryan Lankford
Jace Ryan Lankford, infant daughter of Rachael Lankford, died Saturday, July 14, at Oklahoma University Children's Hospital in Oklahoma City. She was born on June 26, in Ada.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa with the Rev. Houston Tiger officiating. Burial will follow at Cosar Family Cemetery in Konawa.
G.G. (Grover Glenn) McCullar
Shawnee resident G.G. (Grover Glenn) McCullar, 92, passed away Sunday, July 15, in Shawnee.
He was born Sept. 21, 1914, to Robert Tillman and Arta Delpha (Kimbrough) McCullar in Sasakwa.
He attended Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss.
G.G. married Anna on Jan. 5,1947.
During World War II he served in the U.S. Army in Germany and France.
G.G. was a machinist at Brookley Air Force Base in Mobile, Ala., and later at Tinker Air Force Base. He was a member of American Legion Post 16.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being a daddy and granddaddy. His love of his family and friends was the biggest part of his life. He was the first to ask if he could help someone. He especially loved spending time with his grandson, Jeff.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anna, on Oct. 31, 2005.
Survivors left to cherish wonderful memories are daughter, Patricia Fisher Simmons and husband, Mike; grandson, Jeffrey Glenn Fisher and wife, Ksenia; great-granddaughter, Leah Nikole Fisher; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Walker Funeral Service Chapel.
Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Lions Eye Bank, Oklahoma League for the Blind or the college fund of Leah N. Fisher.
Jacob Riley Mullendore
Jacob Mullendore, resident of The Children's Center, Bethany, Okla., passed away Sunday, July 15, at the age of 13.
He was born April 7, 1994, in Midwest City.
Jacob was reared in Bethel and attended Tecumseh Head Start and Bethel Public Schools.
The last few years of Jacob's life, he lived at the Children's Center for medically fragile children in Bethany.
Jacob was an amazing gift from God. He touched countless lives in his time here with us and taught us many lessons that might have, without him, gone unlearned. We thank God for being so blessed with Jacob's beautiful life and he will be missed terribly. We know, however, that he is now healthy and whole.
Jacob's parents and family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care and support that Jacob and themselves have received from the doctors, nurses and staff at the Children's Center.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, ReAnna and Mike Orso of Tribbey; father and stepmother, Brian and Amanda Mullendore of Bethel; three stepbrothers, Brayden Orso, Taylor Mullendore and Dakota Mullendore; grandparents, David and Kathy Tappe of Bethel, Noah and Mary Mullendore of Bethel, and Connie and Don DeLeon of Shawnee; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Blackburn Chapel with the Rev. Danny Cabaniss, pastor of Blackburn Chapel and the Rev. David Cliburn officiating. Burial will be at Blackburn Cemetery.

Gertrude Elsie Casey
Shawnee resident Gertrude Elsie Casey died Monday, July 16, in Shawnee at the age of 85.
She was born Sept. 14, 1921, in Lead Hill, Ark., to George W. DeShields and Elsie (Crosswhite) DeShields.
On Sept. 15, 1939, she married Ralph Walter Casey in Okfuskee County. He later preceded her in death on Sept. 26, 1995.
She was a loving homemaker and also worked as a cook with the Bearden School for 20 years.
Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, three brothers, two sisters and one son.
She is survived by one son, Virgil W. Casey of Bixby; two daughters, Linda Sue McMullen and husband, Stan, of McAlester and Tammy Jennings and husband, Terry, of Shawnee; two sisters, Beulah Graham of Hobbs, N.M., and Bonnie Johnson of San Springs; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Park Brothers Chapel in Okemah with Pastor Tony Smith officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery in Okemah.
Serving as pallbearers will be Warren McMullen, Allen Ritter, Casey Jennings, Mark Lewis, Rick Ross, and Rick Oglesby.
Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Okemah.
Shelby Lynn Lytle
Shelby Lynn Lytle was born on July 12, 2007, at Dewitt Army Community Hospital in Fort Belvior, Va., to Jason and Renee (Culver) Lytle.
Service will be 9:30 a.m. today at the Strother Chapel, located inside Maple Grove Cemetery with Brent Hazelrigg officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
Robert L. Pointer
Longtime Seminole resident Bob Pointer died Monday, July 16, in Carrollton, Texas, at the age of 80.
Service will be 10:30 a.am. Friday at the Swearingen Funeral Chapel with Pastor Doyle Long officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home, Seminole.

Harrah resident J.O. Chilcoat died Sunday, July 15, at his home at the age of 72.
