Wellston resident Clethal Mae Real died Friday, Sept 14, at the age of 79.

Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Southern Baptist Church in Wellston.

Parks Brothers Funeral Service of Stroud is directing arrangements.

Eunice Jane Kolander
Eunice Jane Kolander, 85, of Seminole died Saturday at a local hospital.

Survivors include five sons, John Kolander of Seminole, Eddie Kolander of Jasper, Ark., Daniel Kolander of Havro Degrece, Md, James Kolander of Seminole, and Kenneth Kolander of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Janice Gibbson of Perryton, Texas; one brother, Lydge McLain of Waco, Texas; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. today at Little Cemetery in Seminole with the Rev. Steve Cline officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Margaret A. Johnson
McLoud resident Margaret A. Johnson, 69, died Saturday, Sept. 15, in Shawnee.

Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Church Of Christ, McLoud, with Mr. Wayne Price officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery, Ada.

Arrangements are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah.

Lindsey Jean Steward
Shawnee resident Lindsey Jean Steward, 27, passed from this life peacefully Sunday, Sept. 9, at her home with her family by her side.

Service was held Tuesday, Sept. 11, at Walker Funeral Service.

Memorial donation address is Crossroads Hospice 405-632-9631, P.O. Box 95245, Oklahoma City, OK 73134.

Max Myers
Carney resident Max Myers, 71, died Monday, Sept. 17.

Service will be 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Chandler.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler.

Donald E. Jones
McLoud resident Donald E. Jones died Friday, Sept. 14.

Service was held Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Pentecostal Holiness Church, McLoud.

Arrangements were under the direction of John M. Ireland Funeral Home and Chapel.

Marvin Luther Deatherage
Seminole resident Marvin Luther Deatherage, 77, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at an Oklahoma City hospital. He was born Sept. 23, 1929, in Shawnee to Luther Marvin and Beulah (Blalock) Deatherage. On Jan. 16, 1954, he married Patsy E. Roberts. He served in the U.S. Army.

Marvin owned and operated a monument company and later was an aircraft painter at Tinker Air Force Base. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. He is survived by his sons, Marvin Don Deatherage and wife, Sue, of Holdenville, and Mark W. Deatherage of Seminole; daughter, Judy Thomas and husband, Keith, of Moore; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Don Deatherage and wife, Julia, of Shawnee; sisters, Maxine Alexander and husband, Jack, of San Antonio, Marcene Massey and husband, Eugene, of Shawnee, Lou Benton and husband, Lee, of Oklahoma City, and Deanie Wells and husband, David, of Shawnee; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Keith Thomas officiating.

Mildred Post
Longtime Seminole resident Mildred Post died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at Seminole Estates Nursing Center at the age of 86. Service will be 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Tommy Clark and Carl Whitfield officiating.

Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Seminole. Swearingen Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Anna Mae Henry
Seminole resident Anna Mae Henry died Saturday, Sept. 18, at the age of 86.

She was born Jan. 31, 1918, in Wewoka to Alex Walker and Annie Harjo. She left Oklahoma in 1941 and moved to California. She lived and worked in California until she returned to Oklahoma in 1983. She was a nurse at a nursing home for 13 years in California.

She married Joseph Henry in the early 1970s.

She served as a Women's Leader at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Henry, in 1979; one daughter, Mary Jane McGee, in 1997; three brothers, Jimmy Walker Sr., Terry Walker, and Dave Walker; and four sisters, Izora Bruner, Susie Harjo, Liza Walker-Harjo, and Katie Walker-Tiger.

She is survived by one grandson, Mike Dillon of Sarasota, Fla.; one granddaughter, Beverly Mmaitsi of Gainesville, Texas; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert Walker of Holdenville; one sister, Irene Bailey of Wewoka; three great-great grandchildren; and many other relatives.

Wake service was Sunday at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home chapel.

Funeral will be 2 p.m. today at Middle Creek #2 Baptist Church with the Rev. Ellison Phillips and the Rev. Jimmy Anderson officiating.

Burial will follow at Middle Creek #2 Church Cemetery under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home.

Gladys Pearl Fitzgerald
Seminole resident Gladys Pearl Fitzgerald, 85, died Monday, Sept. 20, at her home.

Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole with the Rev. Russell Vicars officiating.

Swearingen Funeral Home is directing arrangements.

Billy Gene Smith
Lifelong Meeker resident Billy Gene Smith, 75, departed this life Wednesday, Sept. 19, in Meeker.

He was born March 8, 1932, in Meeker to Barney Gibbs and Birdie (Roberts) Smith.

Billy Gene attended Hazel Dell School and worked for the Lincoln County Commissioners, District 3, until his retirement. He was a member of Hazel Dell Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and brother-in-law, two brothers and one sister-in-law, one nephew, and one niece.

Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Melvira and Lincoln Broyles of Meeker; sister-in-law, Pansy Smith of Prague; nieces and nephews, Charlotte and Eddie Hall of Meeker, Dale and Sue Smith of Meeker, Leda and Dennis Glenn of Shawnee, Wayman and Linda Cook of Shawnee, Warren and Barbara Cook of Claremore, Duane and Bonnie Smith of Prague, Wendell and Rayna Smith of Prague, Barbara and Royce Shackleford of Tecumseh, Gil and Christy Broyles of Edmond, Carolyn and Gerald Stuart of San Benito, Texas, and Florita and Carl Wyatt of Konowa; numerous other family and friends.

The family sincerely thanks the Meeker Nursing Center and Heartland Hospice of Shawnee.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker.

Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Meeker, with the Rev. Joe Jones officiating. Burial will follow at the Prague Cemetery.

Donald Wayne "Donnie" Blassingame
Longtime Seminole County resident, Donald Wayne "Donnie" Blassingame, 58, died Tuesday, Sept. 18, at his home north of Seminole.

Service will be 10 a.m. today at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole, with the Rev. Bobby Shatto officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home.

Eleanor E. Glenn
Eleanor E. (Hunsicker) Glenn, 83, of Rose Hill, Kan., died Friday.

Survivors include her husband, Theo Glenn, of the home; a son, Tom Myers of Wichita, Kan.; a daughter, Christine Carrington of Derby, Kan.; and two brothers, Bill Hunsicker of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., and Wilbert Hunsicker of Tulsa; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A service will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Resthaven Mortuary in Wichita.

Arrangements are being handled by Resthaven Mortuary and Cemetery.

Jack H. McClure Sr.
Jack H. McClure Sr., 81, of Asher died Thursday in Seminole.

He was born Oct. 31, 1920, in Asher, the son of John Wilshire and Nora (Buckler) McClure.

McClure was a lifelong Asher resident and a 1938 Asher High School graduate.

He married Bernice McClure on Sept. 19, 1939.

McClure and his brother founded McClure Oil in 1939 and operated it until selling the business in 1989.

He was a member of the Asher Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice McClure, on April 23, 2002; his parents; a brother, Sandy McClure; and two sisters, Teressa (McClure) Archer and Vivian Green.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Jack H. McClure Jr. and Phyllis McClure of Asher; a daughter and son-in-law, Michaela Kaye and Jerry Kursar of St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren, David Kursar of Indianapolis, Ind., Michelle Smith of St. Louis, Mo., Cord McClure of Shawnee, Tara Winterbotham of Boulder, Colo., and Missy Hansen of Asher; and six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Monday at Vista Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
