Robby Lynn Stott
Robby Lynn Stott, 73, of Purcell, Oklahoma died January
4, 2003 in Norman. Mr. Stott was born April 3, 1929 in Wichita
Falls, Texas to Joseph and Grace Dudley Stott. He served in the
U.S. Navy from September of 1945 until September of 1949 in
Aviation Ordinance. He married Alma Marie Sneddon on
November 27, 1950 in Yuma, Arizona. Robby worked in sales
for Arden Engineering for ten years. He came to Oklahoma
from Temecula, California. He lived in Goldsby, Oklahoma five
years prior to moving to Purcell in October of 2002.
Mr. Stott was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers
and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Alma of the home;
three daughters, Kathleen Hairston and husband, Jim of Alta
Loma, California, Carolyn Holmes and husband, Tracy of
Purcell, Oklahoma and Connie Stott of Temecula, California;
two sister, Jonell Powell and husband, Lloyd of Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma and Wanda Jo Chappa of Texas; three grandchildren,
Clinton Hairston, Jacob Hairston and Jennifer Plum and two
great-grandchildren James Plum and Julianna Plum.

Ronald Lee Wright
Ronald Lee Wright, 63, of Norman, Oklahoma, died
Wednesday, January 1, 2003, in Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, January 6, 2003 at
Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel in Norman with Chaplain Harry
Smith officiating. Interment will follow at the Blanchard Cemetery
in Blanchard, Oklahoma with full military honors. Pallbearers will
be Kevin Davis, Ray Richardson, Jerry Wright, Doug Wright II, Doug
Wright and Doug Scroggins. Services are under the direction of
Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mr. Wright was born March 3, 1939 in Cole, Oklahoma, to
Jesse Harmon and Ellie Francis Wright. He grew up in the Cole area
of Oklahoma and in Fremont, California. He joined the U.S. Air
Force in March, 1956 and served twenty years, retiring as a master
sergeant. Mr. Wright then worked for O.G.& E for eighteen years. He
married Alcenia R. Simon on July 8, 1961. He also worked for the
University of Oklahoma Continued Education Program. Mr. Wright
moved to Norman in June, 1984 from Oklahoma City, OK. He loved
to fish and garden.
Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents and three
brothers. Survivors include his wife, Alcenia of the home; two sons,
Doug Wright and wife, Mary of Stonewall, OK and Jerry Wright of
Oklahoma City; two daughters, Suzanne Davis and husband, Kevin
of Oklahoma City, OK and Annette Richardson and husband, Ray of
Lawton, OK; one brother, Tim Wright and wife, Teresa of Moore,
OK; eight grandchildren, Sabrina Scroggins, Samantha Wright,
Schandi Kaste, Doug Wright II, Tabatha Wright, Brandon Wright,
Scherri Kaste and Peyton Richardson; and three great-grandchildren,
Kierstin Scroggins, Kaitlin Scroggins and Blane Scroggins.

W. D. (Bill) Bishop
W. D. (Bill) Bishop, 82, of Norman, Oklahoma, died
Thursday, February 6, 2003 in Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral Services
will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 10, 2003 at Faith
Assembly of God Church in Norman, Oklahoma with Reverend John
L. Gifford officiating. Interment will follow at the IOOF Cemetery
in Norman, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Will Bishop, Cody
Dennis, Darrel Dionne, Ralph Graham, Bill Prater and Tim
Thompson. Honorary Bearers will be Bob Bailey, Virgil Branson,
Van Fullerton, Vic Meyers and C.A. Wiggins. Services are under the
direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mr. Bishop was born December 11, 1920 in Mena, Arkansas,
to Frank and Bryla Wilson Bishop. He grew up in a number of rural
Oklahoma and Arkansas towns where his mother was a school
teacher in one room school houses. He moved to Norman from
Pawnee, Oklahoma in the mid 1930s. During World War II, Mr.
Bishop worked on the construction of the U.S. Navy Base in Norman,
Oklahoma. After the war, he worked with the Standard Oil Company
in California. He returned to Norman in 1946. Mr. Bishop started a
construction firm in the late 1940s and built houses in Norman
through the 1950s. He then became a commercial builder and from
the 1960s through the 1970s and he built a number of U.S. Post
Offices in Oklahoma and Eastern Arkansas. He retired from building
during the 1980s. Mr. Bishop was a member of the Faith Assembly
of God Church in Norman where he supervised a building expansion
project for the church in 1998 . Mr. Bishop was a member of the
Church building committee from 1987 until his death also serving
some years as chairman. He also worked for the Oklahoma City
Metro Tech. during the mid 1980s, retiring in 1987.
Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by his parents and brother,
Frank Bishop. Survivors include one son, William (Billy) D. Bishop
Jr. of Norman, Oklahoma; two daughters, Brenda Bishop of
Birmingham, Alabama and Lynn Woodward and husband, Paul of
Taft, California; nine grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Phillip E. Bucher
Phillip E. Bucher, 67, of Norman,
Oklahoma, died Wednesday, 27, 2003 in
Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will
be held at 2.00 P.M., Monday, March 3,
2003 at Havenbrook Funeral Home Chapel
with Reverend Joe Grizzle officiating.
Interment will follow at the Sunset
Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman,
Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Johnnie
Wright, Loren Grout, Buddy Raney, Gary
Robinson, Kenneth Morrow and Don Stove.
Honorary bearers will be Bob Jones, Jimmy
Morrow and Ronnie Matthews. Services are
under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral
Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mr. Bucher was born July 25, 1935 in Oklahoma City,
Oklahoma, to Leonard Eugene and Berniece Bucher. The family
moved to Norman in 1935, where he grew up and graduated from
Norman High School in 1953. He worked for L & A Auto Parts store
for twenty five years. He then owned and operated Noble Auto Parts
for four years. Mr. Bucher married Bobbie Louise Smith on June 8,
1966 at the Goodrich Memorial United Methodist Church in Norman,
Oklahoma. Before he retired in 1998, Mr. Bucher worked three
years as a Master R.V. Tech for Floyd Camper. He served as a
Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America with Troop 237. Mr.
Bucher also in the U.S. Army. He loved to fish, enjoyed nature and
bowling and his family. He was a member of the First Free Will
Baptist of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mr. Bucher was preceded in death by his father, Leonard E.
Bucher and brother, John Bucher. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie
of the home; one son, Mark E. Bucher and wife, Carole of Gallup,
NM; one daughter, Marci A. Hartman and husband, Philip of Chester,
VA; mother, Berniece Bucher of Norman, OK; one brother, Edward
Bucher and wife, Carrie of Chelsea, OK; and four grandchildren,
Gunnar Bucher, Fisher Bucher, Tucker Bucher and Logan Hartman.

Lucy Lillian Burt
Lucy Lillian Burt, 63, of Norman,
Oklahoma, died Monday, February 10, 2003
in Norman, Oklahoma. Funeral Services
will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February
14, 2003 at Havenbrook Funeral Home
Chapel in Norman, Oklahoma with
Reverend Lester Vogler officiating.
Services are under the direction of
Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Burt was born September 24, 1939 in Hartford, New
York, to Pete and Mary Bushey Bushee. Lucy was a caregiver
working at nursing homes and also providing in-home care for people
for over forty years. She moved to Norman, Oklahoma in 1966 from
Bakersmills, New York. She married Edward Jason Burt Jr. on
August 6, 1994 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Burt was preceded in death by her parents, previous
husband, brothers, sisters, daughter, granddaughters. Survivors
include ten sons, William, Wallace, Clyde and Calvin Steves, all of
Norman, OK, Wesley Steves of Hudson Falls, NY, Victor Steves and
wife, Peggy of Glens Falls, NY, Clifford Steves Jr. and wife, Dana of
Noble, OK, Clinton Steves of Houston, TX, John Fahlmann of
Queensbury, NY and Edward Jason Burt III and wife, Candace of
South Glens Falls, NY; five daughters, Edith Miller and husband,
Richard Lowe of Houston, TX, Carol Ewing of Noble, OK, Christy
Williamson and husband, Kevin of Fort Hood, TX, Jean Marie Noble
and husband, Stan of Hartford, NY and Marlene Burt of Glens Falls,
NY; one sister, Helen Balfour of Glen Falls, NY; two sisters-in-law,
Betty Elizabeth Bushee of Norman, OK and Aggie Straight of
